  3. I wouldn’t recommend doing this sort of training very often as it will fry your CNS. Last time I did even normal forced reps I got noticeably weaker. But that’s just me – do what works for you of course.

  4. Have tried the programme and have to say, the 25 reps are an absolute killer – bordering on impossible! The body parts I trained felt sore for several days after each workout. I haven;t completed a full 28 day cycle, so can’t really comment on the effectivness of the programme. There are a couple of reasons why I haven’t personally continued with it. Firstly, I found it difficult to hop between stations in a busy gym. Once I moved from the squat rack to the leg extension machine, for example, someone was in the squat rack. Couldn’t exactly say – “I’m just doing 25 of these, then having a 3 minute break, and then I’ll be back”. Also, I found waiting for 3 minutes between monster sets difficult. I can see why it’s needed, but it felt a bit like wasted time – I found it hard psychologically to stay focused when twiddling my thumbs for so long. Also, I’m not sure whether training a body part once a week is the most effective method for my body type. But what do I know?!
