It’s a bit of a sad day.
I just found out that one of the best fitness role modeling books is being taken off the shelf for good.
Total Body Makeover from Lewis Wolk and the crew at A to Z Fitness is being retired — permanently removed from distribution early next week. In 2 days.
The reason? Lew and Sarah want to focus their energies on testing, reporting and then sharing with others what works in the fitness world.
This means they will not have the time to support their own material.
Now, you all know by now what I think about role modeling. It is one of the Top 5 Keys to Fitness Success.
It’s actually Key 2.
Key 1 is knowing how to define what success means to YOU.
Key 2 is finding role models: People who have been where you are and achieved the results you want to achieve.
Honestly, I would not have a career in fitness had it not been for role modeling and being cursed with skinny genetics – first hand. I would have probably pursued a career at a physical education teacher, which would have been cool…
But destiny had another plan… and I’m thankful for that.
You know, I still struggle with my hardgainer genes, and I always will. But I now have SO many tools and role models to look to for inspiration that I just seem to keep getting back on the horse and keep my body in top shape most of the year.
When I slack off, and I do occasionally, I turn to guys and gals featured in Total Body Makeover for inspiration.
I am huge believer in building a library of role models to have at your finger tips for whenever I need to troubleshoot a plateau or obstacle or need some motivation. .
People like Craig Ballantyne, Nick Nilsson, Kyle Battis, Rob Poulos, and others… ALL found in Total Body Makeover.
It’s a book of inspiration, workouts, nutrition, mindset, and more.
It’s a darn good book.
On top of that, I’ve asked Lewis to include a freee book for you when you get Total Body Makeover called “The Shoulder Injury Guide”… by Dr.Kareem normally $39.95… but freee when you purchase …
Dr. Kareem is a good friend of mine too and we’re hanging out in San Diego together. I love having friends who are doctors, you never need to stand in line. He’s just a phone call away and this bonus book comes pretty darn close to a personal phone call.

P.S. Since they are retiring this for good they are reducing the price from the normal $45 down to only $14.99 for these last couple days before taking it offline.
Check it out.
If building muscle and maximizing the benefits of your work outs is desireable, there’s nothing like discipline and preseverance. But an NSF Certified for Sport athletic enhancement supplement (all natural, safe and legal even for pros) can do wonders. Let me know if you are interested. Regards,

I have a two pack(or whatever you call it) and right now im trying to get my 6 pack, I am currently running track and I play soccer. I was wondering if you could give me some more info on how i could do this. On April 21 and 28 I have a class at the rec. center that you have to do to go lift weights if your not 16. So if you have any tips please share.

I’m just wondering if I can get it with out waiting weeks for it to arrive in the mail
Hey. My name is Alexandra. I’m not fat, or overweight, or skinny, i’m short however. I guess you could say I’m an average body size that is slightly more athletic because i dance and attempt to take care of my body.
. Please help me. And since sending you my email and adding you to my “friendly list” when will i recieve you’re free coaching videos? Almost done. I would like to know when you’re offer of $77 dollars for that amazing package is up, because the only time i would be able to even contemplate getting that package was around my birthday. Once again thank you so much, and God Bless.
Listen I have been training my body for quite a few years now and i will tell you i have alot of stamina. But I’m not getting results. And i want to be honest and say it is mentally draining to keep fighting this uphill battle, this game of push myself to the point where it’s ridiculous and i have people shaking their heads at me because they say i’m obsessed. I want what you wanted. Except i want it in girl’s form. I want lean arms and firm shoulders that are not to big but allow me to hold my own against taller people. I want lean defined abs (and let me tell you it’s not that they don’t exist, i have alot of ab strength, it’s that these freakin things won’t show!) I know abdominal anatomy, as well as majority of anatomy for other body parts. My butt is doing fine (:P) but i want skeleton crushing thighs and I know they can get there, i just need someone to tell me how. I need direction and i need guidance, i’ve never had the money to indulge in a personal trainer, or even the money to buy my own workout equipment (i mean my freakin gym membership cost a grand total of… 1 dollar), it’s always all been me what I can find my self on the internet to educate myself on body and nutrition, despite all corners of the internet that i’ve looked to for help.
I’m sick and tired of working hard for getting what i want and not getting results. I am bound and determined to stay as fit and as healthy as i possibly can for the rest of my life. I don’t have anything to loose, and everything to gain. And that’s why I’m coming to you. I believe everything you’ve just said on reading your entire website introduction page. I got the link through youtube. And now i want help.
trying to get over any self image issues that i have just will not cut it. I can’t ignore something that i feel so strong about. I am reaching out. And if this ends up being a scam so help me God. But that’s why I’m here and that is why I am messaging you. I think you have something valuable to teach me, and i am willing to put down any inhibitions i have to give this a shot, despite the fact that your introduction page looks totally fishy and like just about every other garuntee this product will work page. And sure you may have been a little repetitive, but at the same time you were providing what i think is a fair amount of evidence that you’re not a scammer.
And before i finish let me ask a few more questions, and explain a little bit more about myself. In 2007 i had had it. I had attempted most things like not eating (which sucked by the way…and didn’t do nothin for me), i’ve tried whey powder, i tried (back when i knew nothing) doing crunches straight for 10 minutes every single freakin day, and then after that it got worse, i’m talkin i got over my crunch crazy phase and started educating myself. I was still unwise however i would find some of the most ruthless body workouts i could find online using just my body and i would go up to my room at 8:00 everynight and work my self to dehydration till 10:00. I must say that the best thing i’ve done for myself though is actually take up jogging (irony?). Is it the best way to stay in shape? Probably not. Am i a triathelete? Nooooooooo sir, not me. But i do enjoy it more and more, because i go at my own pace. Along with that, i eat incredibly healthy now, my breakfast on most mornings is oatmeal cooked in soy milk with banana, as i’m typing that out it sounds beyond disgusting but trust me it tastes great. People say i eat strict, and it’s absolutely true, because i no longer enjoy fatty/fast foods. I may not get enough nutrition however because i’m a fairly busy person. (the only times i can go to the gym are on the weekends :/). Actually that’s another really frustrating thing…I EAT HEALTHY and my abs are still hiding. And i don’t just want a sixpaxk, no sir. I want a nice and firm back tight, toned, no jiggles, something that supports me and allows me greater flexibility in dance, i want cut obliques that allow me to control various extensions of my legs as i finish turns (pirouettes), and not only that, phenomenal turns because my center of balance is correctly aligned because of my solid core. So you see it’s not just about gaining muscle, for me it’s about improving an art form that i intend to make my way of life, which will be brought closer to reality by a stronger figure. I usually dance somewhere up of three times a week. Mondays from 7:30-9 Tues from 7:30-8:30 and Thurs. from 6:30-8:30. And in mentioning this, i have to say that it is important for me to know whether or not using your program will significantly affect my joints range of motion, namely by building muscle will i loose flexibility?
I would like to thank you for looking at this lengthy essay of an e-mail
