TREAT Your Way Thin

By Vince On April 17, 2009 Under Nutrition

Okay, so I guess I wasn’t fully recovered from the DVD launch after all! – I screwed up one of the links in the last email when telling you about Joel’s FREE videos.

The link to get your exclusive FREE videos from Joel is:

http://www.TreatYourWayThin.com (page comes down VERY soon)

NOT

TreatYourSelfThin.com

So, you’re probably wondering, if Joel’s new program is called Cheat Your Way Thin, then why the above “Treat” link?

Here’s the scoop:

Joel and I are actually REALLY good friends. We talk on the phone about business and fitness and whatever else a few times a week, and we’re always bouncing ideas off each other.

Based on a lot of the science Joel has shared with me about strategic cheating, I use “cheat” meals in my diet, too, except I call them “treat” meals. I mean, hey, you’re treating yourself – both your body and your mind – so this was CLEARLY the way to go as far as I was concerned.

Joel, on the other hand was stuck on “cheat”. Whatever. :)

But like I said, Joel and I are really good friends. So to keep in line with the “treat meal” and “treat day” wording that I like to use, he went and registered the domain http://www.TreatYourWayThin.com for me as a compromise. Good guy, eh?

It all goes to the same site, but at least I get to have my title :-)

If you’ve listened to my nutrition advice, then you’ve got a REALLY strong nutritional foundation. But this is Joel’s forte. Think of what I’m like with killer training info and advice–that’s Joel with nutrition. Total ninja. And the best part is, his methods *compliment* (not contradict) my nutrition advice perfectly.

The truth is this: you can’t go around eating pizza and donuts day in and day out and expect to have a world class physique. It’s not going to happen. But you absolutely CAN incorporate these “off limits” foods into your diet to accelerate your progress, and Joel is the man when it comes to showing you how. Six years of research under his belt on this subject alone; I wouldn’t steer you wrong.

Go to the page, register for the FREE training, and in the next two weeks, I promise Joel is going to blow you away with content and more info on this powerful system.

But you need to do it today, because I really can’t guarantee the page will still be up tomorrow.

Enjoy the content,

Vince

P.S. A new batch of No-Nonsense DVD’s are being duplicated as we speak and the re-launch date for anyone on the waiting list will be first in line.  If you missed out and want to be notifed first, go here: http://www.GetRippedClub.com to secure your set in the next batch.

Hi, this has nothing to do with the post. I just wanted to ask you a question. You emphasized alot on being fully recovered before heading for my next workout. However, Joel Marion, in one of his training programs, says ” training a sore muscle does not adversely affect metabolic recovery. In fact, doing so can actually speed up the recovery process by increasing the flow of nutriend rich blood to recuperating muscle tissue. As long as you are highly motivated to train, your CNS has recovered and you can train again, even if you are sore or have trained that body part recently.” Is what he says true?

Salmon, Tuna, Sardines

Secret Ingredient: Omega-3 fatty acids

How they work: By altering levels of a hormone called leptin in your body. Several recent studies suggest that leptin directly influences your metabolism, determining whether you burn calories or store them as fat.

Researchers at the University of Wisconsin found that mice with low leptin levels have faster metabolisms and are able to burn fat more quickly than animals with higher leptin levels. The best way to lower your leptin? Eat fish.

Mayo Clinic researchers studying the diets of two African tribes-one of which frequently ate fish and one of which didn’t-found that fish eaters had leptin levels nearly five times lower than the levels found in tribes that primarily ate vegetables.

The good news, if you don’t like fish: Fish-oil supplements may work just as well as the stuff with scales. French researchers found that men who replaced 6 grams of fat in their diets with 6 grams of fish oil were able to boost their metabolisms and lose an average of 2 pounds in just 12 weeks.
