Adrian & Amy’s Wedding – SHOUT Video

By Vince On March 20, 2009 Under Miscellaneous

It’s very late…

I just got home from watching “I Love You Man.”  I laughed quite a bit.  You’ll like it. Good quality PG movie.

My brother and his new wife, Adrian and Amy, just posted a video from their wedding…

HILARIOUS!  Whatever you’re going to say about my dance moves, I’ll just reply like Vince Vaughn did in Wedding Crashers with, “I knew I shouldn’t have gone showing off like that…. What are you talking about?  I’m an amazing dancer!”

See if you can spot me in the crowd… I may have a few too many glasses of vino that night :)

Here’s how the DelMonte crew rolls!

Vince, thanks for sharing the great moves…lol, hey don’t quit your day job:) Yeah I agree with a lot in general about what you say. The biggest training mistakes I often see are too many people rushing to get through reps and sets…they also use too heavy a weight so that they can’t use proper form…and they don’t plan the right kind of exercises in order to keep a good balance of development…in other words too many upper body routines, etc. Also too many aren’t patient enough to use each training opportunity to really feel the muscle working through a full range. It’s important to slow down and focus on improving technique, get a feel and full muscle pump rather than trying to lift more and more weight…your joints in the long run will thank you too. Thanks again…talk soon!

Mr. Del Monte.
My case is very rare ,and I want to tell you my story as it is.

I am an educated lebanese man who lives in a very poor region ,When I was 16 years old I made a wooden chest bench and a barbell made from (cimento) and a wooden abs bench and started working out as a hobby .
After 50 days I discovered that my body is changing so I decided to increase the weight .
After 8 mopnths I was able to make a set of 10 reps with 100kg (220 lbs) as chest bench workout and my body improved very much ,most of my colleagues in school thought that I am working out in a gym and that I am taking supplements but I was eating some eggs , drink lots of milk and sometimes chicken chests .
When I was 18 I decided to workout in a gym and after 3 months my body became (big ) all my t-shirts were XL OR EVEN XXL .
But after these three months my father got ill and sick and because our home is really small I had to sleep on the floor next to my parents’ bed . My dad used to wake up at 01:00 or 02:00 and scream in a very loud voice and I used to wake up and my heart beating 100 beat per second .
After that happened for almost 8 times and I had no solution for that because I had to sleep there , I started to suffer from insomnia and a real bad one and my whole world started to change for the worse and the worst happened .
My grades in the university went down and I had to stop working out and what is worst I became addicted to lexotanine and prosec and here what happened :
-I lost 9 kg of muscle
-gained 12 kg of fat in the lower body
-My t-shirts SIZE WENT FROM XXL TO MEDIUM OPPOSITE TO MY PANTS .

Now I am 26 my father died I lost my health and my career but I decided to start from the beginning
-I lost 9 kg of fat but unfortunatly Iam not able to gain muscle although I’ve tried to take some shit (Supplements) but no results .
Dear Vince This is my question
-What do you think is the reason ? is it because :

When I was young I had natural growth hormone in my body and now I lost it and if so what to do? and if not what to do ?
Waiting for your reply Mr. Vince.
Sincerely yours
Christian Kalach

Suzzanna… the cloest you get me as a drill seargent is the offer I have avaiable coming on DVD on April 7. I suggest you read my blog post, “Why do you REALLY work out?”

Christian… does the reason really matter? Your focused too much on your problem so are manifesting more problems into your life. Tell me ONE thing you could do to move positively in the new direction.

The DVD’s released on April 7 are NOT free. They WILL be shipped to the UK, and all other foreign countries.

Also I’m not what you’d call skinny I like alot of what Vince says but I’m not skinny I weigh 190-195 and I’m 5′11″ I work out when I can. When work permits like 4-5 times a week for about an hour to an hour and a half. My problem is most work out programs are for the very out of shape or the skinny. Any tips on where the rest of us can look or how to modify Vince’s work outs, or will this also work for me?

March 23, 2009

March 23, 2009

wow i liked the program…its hardcore but i feel tightened up already in 1 week.
what you think about lean system7? i use it and it gives me nice energy without the bad side effects like the other fat burning supplements have…do you think it would have any positive effect on losing fat when used with your training and diet plan?

thank youuuu

mina

March 23, 2009

This is one of the reasons that makes me belive in your workouts and try them. Other musclebuilding sites theres just some guy posting tips and exercises, and sure the guy maybe have a picture and yes, he is big. but then what? this kind of personal videos just show that you are a ordinary human being.
My english is really bad and i dont know if you get my point hehe.
However, great work. Love your tips and exercises.

hey vince.

i just wanted to say thanks so much for all your newsletters and the free gifts you recently gave out. you’re the man! anyways i noticed that you talk alot about using full range of motion in excercises; do i need to do this when bench pressing too? i read Mike Westerdal’s (i’m sure you know him) increased bench report and he says to not use full extension when benching. what are your thoughts?

Mike

March 24, 2009

hi vince
great blog
it´s cool to see something from you that has nothing to do with nutrition or working out
sometimes i get the impression you are more a lifecoach than a fitness coach
cuz it shows the people that even if someone works hard for his body and cares about his nutrition he can make party all night long :D
most of the people that i meet have that stupid idea of someone who tries to build up his dream body
and i hope everyone who take their dreambody challenge to serious see that there is more than working out, because some people really do forget that there is something outside the gym called “life”
great video
keep up the hard work and enjoy your life

best wishes from germany
