What Are YOUR Goals?

By

Vince Del Monte, WBFF Pro Fitness Model, Certified Fitness Trainer
and Nutritionist and author of No Nonsense Muscle
Building.

My coach, Ryan, and I want to GIVE AWAY 16 weeks of customized 1-on-1 coaching to someone who tells us their 16 week fitness goal in the comments section below. Anyone is eligible to win and all you need to do is tell us why you deserve 16 weeks of 100% FREE 1-on-1 coaching, which will give you access to TWO coaches, not just one.

If you could achieve ONE goal in the next 16 weeks, what would it be?

Do you want to gain more muscle? Do you want to lose more fat? How many pounds do you want to gain or lose over the next 16 weeks? What is your dream body fat level? What body parts are you going to enhance? What do you want your 1 rep max to be in the bench, deadlift and squat? What kind of goals do you want to achieve despite your crazy busy life and travel schedule? When do you want to get your Pro Card as a physique athlete? Imagine how much faster your fitness business would explode with an INSANE set of before and afters?

We prefer setting 16 week goals with our 1-on-1 clients because it’s a generous time frame to make DRASTIC changes in how you look, feel and perform, but it’s also not an overwhelming time frame to commit to. Sixteen weeks supports our belief,  Success Happens In Spurts!

coachingblogheader

So, tell us what your 16 week goal is in the comments section below.

Once you’re done, take it a step further – cut and paste your response, throw it into a word document, and PRINT IT OFF. Sign it. Date it. Hand it to a friend to hold you accountable. We believe that goals without deadlines are just dreams. We’re not interested in helping people hit their genetic potential, we’re interested in helping you BLOW BEYOND your genetic potential, and these extra steps are what separates the winners from the losers.

Heck, if you TRULY want to achieve your goals, put some blood in the game. Some of your OWN blood. How?

INCENTIVES:  You can use the “carrot” or the “stick” method. The “carrot” method is based on giving yourself a gift when you achieve your goal. This is great but I’ve learned it’s not nearly as effective as the “stick” method. This is when you punish yourself for not taking action or achieving your goals.

For example, you could donate $1,000 to the charity or political party YOU DO NOT SUPPORT if you fail to achieve your goal. Give the money to a friend before starting your goal to ensure you’re committed. I guarantee you’ll change your habits when you put some blood in the game with the “stick” method.

What are you waiting for? Tell us your 16 week goal below and give yourself the chance to win 16 weeks of FREE 1-on-1 personalized coaching with me and Ryan.

To be frank, if you’re not willing to *post* your goal, you might as well kiss away your hopes of ever achieving it… now is the time to step up and make it happen — Ryan and I are in your corner.

Can’t wait to read your goals below,

Vince

P.S. Posting your goal below might seem like a small step but it’s a very POWERFUL form of accountability. Be detailed with your goals. Something magical happens when you write out your goals in front of an “audience.” This is the first key to your success… tell us your 16 week goal by writing it below!

Trust me, this one step will get you fired up….  Good luck and don’t forget to add your full name below plus your email so we can contact you if you win!

  1. I’ve lifted weights on and off for almost 40 years. But what I need is to workout and not have to think about what to do. I want to just focus on executing. One can get bogged down in details.

  2. My Goal is to work with you and Ryan and compete. To get my pro card as a natural & start to influence the fitness community and start an online business in the fitness industry. I know that the first step to achieving this dream is to become something that people can buy into. To sculpt my physique in a way that will help me achieving my dream of joining vince’s Students and building an online business. Attending masterminds. I want to help change people’s lives. People that look at the all the steroid lifters and all the non realistic bodies out there and realize they are comparing themselves to fakes and cheats. It’s show people what a real healthy fit physique looks like and that it’s achievable for anyone with a little hard work dedication and disapline. I know I’m a little late to post my comment just saw this now but I know my conviction is stronger then any of these ppl and I’ll prove it. I want to help people GET IN THE GYM. atart. Feel that euphoric feelings after seeing a change in there bodies realizing they can build the body of their dreams on their hard work alone no cheating. To change the MENTALITY AND PERSEPTION of the gym and fitness.

  3. Hi Vince,

Although I’m only 21 years old, I developed a passion for fitness when I was 15 that has just grown stronger over the years. However, after lifting weights for all this time, I am physically no where near where I strive to be. I have always been on the small side and really struggle to gain muscle. Although I have learned A LOT watching your videos, reading your blog posts, and following your instagram, I know that there is so much out there I still don’t know. My dream is to become a personal trainer and help other people become strong and healthy, and I know that in order to have credibility I need to also have a body that screams “I know what I’m doing.” I am ready to build that body. It would be an absolute honor to get to work with you to kickstart my career. I want to prove to others that hard work can and does trump genetics and that anything is possible with dedication and the right mindset. I want to begin focusing more on compound lifts and incorporating smarter training techniques to increase my productivity in the gym. I have always been a very dedicated and determined person, and I know that with the right guidance, I will achieve these goals.

  5. In 16 weeks I want the truth to come out of this 60 year old life of lies. 1). I haven’t allowed my physique to flourish as it once did 10 years ago because I believe it is unsustainable. 2) I have no desire to put myself through the daily discipline it takes to achieve exceptional helath and strength. 3) I can barely put a peanut butter sandwich together, let alone plan and prepare 16 weeks of healthy prime meals. 4) I don’t want to start again and again…..this would be another “again.” SO….the truth is I’m pissed and I don’t want these excuses ruining my life another day!
The 45 inch waist has to go! Bring on 33 inches. At 218 pounds, I need all the muscle I can gain, but must drop below 200lbs. Somehow I was 6 feet tall now I’m 5.11.5. If I could hold my head high maybe I’d gain a lot more than a 1/2 inch of confidence and improve my posture at the same time, not just for 16 weeks…but for life.

Today being the category skinny fat, I’ve tried the gym and diets and always fall off the wagon. Turning 25 this year I want to get into the best possible shape ever!

Hi there. Sixteen week goal would be to gain lean muscle and get shredded as I have always got to certain point of fat loss but would love to get down below 10% as mentally I believe m not able to get my aesthetics to this level due to messing with my diet/metabolism so much.
I have just recently started a venture into the speciality coffee scene by way of an old horse box so it will be mobile. I have such a passion for coffee and that people don’t have to settle for commodity shite coffee anymore.
I would live to have the same passion towards a sixteen week goal for aesthetics and in turn I would hold an event at the end if this selling epic coffee and I would nomiate a charity/ charities to donate all the proceeds too. One of these would be to reach out to a place that caters for eating disrders as mentally it’s hard dealing with diet in modern day and I would say the majority of people would suffer on the eating disorder scale. The sixteen week goal for me would be to overcome these mental issues by trusting the process but in turn would teach me how to deal with my issues and then the event I hold. The proceeds would go to help others with greater mental issues when it comes to food and Health.

My desire for the next 16 weeks wood painted drop approximately 40 to 50 lb. I have been dropping some weight by using Keto but I am worried about losing the muscle that I have existing. My bench press is very weak currently I struggle with the hundred and 80 to 200 lb range. I used to be able to easily dumbbell bench press 100 lb each arm and I would love to work up to that and more. I’m not really a deadlifter or a squatter but I would love to improve in these areas. When I first discovered you approximately 4 years ago, I was sitting at a nice decent lean 185 with still a little bit of fluff unfortunately with life happening a better job came into my life which in turn made my life extremely busy and I neglected the gym for over 10 months. So unfortunately over the course of 4 years plus I ballooned back up to 239 pounds although I am now at this moment of writing this sitting at 217.5. I drastically want to improve my life my weight and my physical capability and appearance and it’s kind of hard to swallow but I guess I’m down to having to admit that I really need help. I hope this may give in insight as to who I am and where I’m coming from hope to hear from you and I very much appreciate the opportunity you were putting out there. Thank you so very much!

  15. I want to gain about 12-15 lbs of muscle over the next 16 weeks and I think it can easily be done with the right plan diet and supplementation (glutamine, bcaas, creatine, whey). I’m currently 175 lbs at 6 foot 1 so pretty skinny but have some muscle to work with and have gotten up to 190 last year so hopefully muscle memory will kick In quickly. Looking forward to the chance at working with the best!

  16. Not sure if this’ll be noticed and will win, but in the coming 16 weeks, I wanna eat up the coach’s brain. Become more knowledgeable, wiser, better decisions, non-nonsense things and get a champion physique that I’ve always wanted.

People are gonna talk about getting ripped and transform, but 16 week 1-1 is a biggie. You can literally learn so much and dig the brain of these 2 of the most smartest coaches, while getting the champion physique you want. You can have them as your mentor and build a successful business, be better and learned and get in the best damn shape of your life. This is definitely my goal if I win this. Gonna do it.

  18. I have to see how far I can go with my physique by the time I am 50 next year. I´ve made massive gains in the last 2 years (albeit from a very low base), and especially over the last 6 months where strength gains have been over 15% on the main lifts. But need to improve a further 10% over the next 6 months and have hit a plateau. My aims are the following; reduce body fat to 10%, increase strength in my deadlift (from 160 1RM to 175), and bench press (from 95 to 105), and squat I want to achieve 5 sets of 5 at 100kg. All at the same time whilst increasing upper body size. Too much to ask? I´m gonna do everything I can to achieve it-can you help?

I have just turned 45 years old. Twelve years ago after my first kiddo was born, I went from being in reasonable condition going to the gym regularly to 60 pounds over weight and almost never getting to the gym. I prioritize my kids over myself, as many parents do. However, by neglecting my health, I have also been neglecting my responsibility as a parent.

    I MUST do two things:

    1. I have to drop this weight–60 lbs. worth. It is killing me–LITERALLY!!! I owe it to my kids, my wife, and myself. They deserve a father and husband far into the future and I deserve to be there to experience and participate in their happiness for many years to come.

    2. I have to demonstrate and model successful, goal oriented behavior so my daughters have a direct, powerful influence to learn from and strive for in their own lives. Becoming a strong, healthy parent is both a gift and an example–one that they deserve and is within my power to provide.

At my strongest, I was 220 lbs. and able to bench 545 lbs. for 3 reps on the fifth set of my bench workout (hard to believe I know–but real). I used to start @405 x 10. Today, I would be lucky to do 225 lbs. for one rep. I don’t have any delusion of getting back to my “old self” but I could be…no should be 175 lbs. @ 10%–not 235 lbs. and 20%…30%..dangerous. I need to shed the 9 year old child that I am carrying around daily (60 lbs.) and add 20 lbs. of lean muscle so that I can show my youngest daughter who is a year-round competitive swimmer that I am willing to do what is necessary to do 20 pull-ups so she has a living example of how to achieve it for herself. I need to run a 6 minute mile with her and show her I am willing to push through the pain so she can also. I NEED to help my daughters with their successes–even more than my own. I need to walk the walk.

And I need help doing it. I have been strong and healthy before and I will be again. BUT I have lost confidence in my ability to design this transformation on my own and would be immensely grateful to have successful coaches with a proven track record mentoring my process–modeling a successful strategy–so I can be an example of success that my girls deserve.

  26. Hi Vince, Hi Ryan

Ok how about this for a challenge ?

I have been studying different types of techniques (through you and other fitness professionals) for about 10 years now (I’m 44) and although I am between 6% and 7% body fat I still cannot see my abs. My understanding was that below 10% abs became visible.

I was measured on an impedance meter which showed that I was retaining water in my midsection (7 litres to be exact).
I have tried changing my diet to accommodate, added diuretic drinks (natural of course) and NOTHING works. I AM LOST.

My 16 week goal is to simply see my abs, no fat loss, no muscle gain, no strength gain. Just water loss around my abs.

    Can you do it ?

  37. I am a self made businessman at 24 year old. 3 months of hardwork after college and I tasted success.
But making money is not my ultimate goal. My real goal is to contribute some good help towards humanity. And maybe for that I had to raise up my voice in public or group of people.
And I want my body physique to be my FIRST VOICE.
Haha, right now I am just 55 KGS at 5’10”. If i win, I will achieve 18kgs for sure.

    Thanks for reading.

  38. I’m a 36 year old wealth advisor, married, with two children. I train 4-6 days a week, prep my meals each week, and attempt 8 hours of sleep each night. I am going to achieve the best shape I have been in the past 10 years by dropping 8% body fat (currently 175 lbs at 15% bf). With an ultimate goal of slowly adding muscle in a lean manner rather than short “bulking” methods I have not had success with in the past. I need a professional who can provide me specifics on what is best for my body.

I weigh more now than I’ve every weighed before, 160, and I’m 5’9. Even if I don’t win, any advice you or anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
    All the best!

    hi Vince and readers,
bellow I have listed a mixed set of objectives which I believe they are all related to training/workout program (not necessarily in this order, except for nr. 1, 3,4, and 5). my only question is that I am currently living in Portugal. Is that a problem for the program?

    1. Be happy
    2. burn fat
    3 build in muscle
    4 become stronger
    5 become more resistent
    6 keep myself active
    7 keep myself healthy
    8 bigger arms
9 stronger back for a beatiful and healthy posture
    10 improve my personal discipline
11eliminate toxic food from my diet
12 follow a beautiful, healthier diet programme
    13 stronger legs
    14 six pack
15 become a role model for my family, friends and future fans
    16 impress my wife!

enjoy my comment and good luck to us all…

  43. My fitness goals are to have the body and mindset I never had, I was always the chubby kid who never felt confident about his body, and was never comfortable with his shirt off…recently I’ve been getting into weight lifting and it’s become an obsession for me and I won’t stop until I have my dream physique, I’ve made some progress on my own already but working with a personalized trainer would be an oppurtunity that will not be squandered if I’m given the chance,

    • Lately I have been busy and told myself that I’m too busy to exercise. Before this I exercised and felt much better for months. So, in reality, I can’t afford to not exercise.
      I do miss weight lifting!
My #1 goal is to exercise on a regular basis (at least 3 x per week).
My #2 goal is to improve my diet, which has been improving lately, but still has much room for more improvement.
My number#3 goal is to gain muscle.
Working with a personal trainer would be IDEAL. I have found 3 good personal trainers in the past, but could not afford to see them more than once or twice.

  44. Thanks to both of you for giving out free coaching!

    Here are my goals:

As a fitness professional, I find it crazy that I don’t get the same results as my clients. Maybe it’s lack of sleep, not enough nutrition, poor training, etc. Or it could be because I don’t have a coach myself.

For the next 16 weeks, I will gain a minimum of 8 lbs of muscle by eating 5-6 meals/day while training 3-5 times/week. Strength is important, but muscle gain is the #1 priority. Achieving a bf% of 10-13% would be ideal as well, but one goal at a time.

Regardless of who wins, I’m sure many of your followers would love to know more about your coaching opportunities (would even pay)!

  47. Dear Vince and Ryan,

First of all thank you for giving one of us all the opportunity to live the experience to work with real professional life coaches. This is just amazing !
I have never worked out in my life, and I only started 3 months ago and gained several pounds. I am soon 60 years old, but rather look like 40. I am vegetarian for over 40 years now, so no mean/fish diet for me. I have a lean body, gave once yoga classes, do probably not eat enough I think ( LOL!) and work on a farm since last October 2017. This helped to gain some pounds. ( my weight 157.5 pounds) I have belly fat, and would really like to look more muscular. My pectoral muscles play hide and seek! lol, and I have no clue of weight wishes, now it would be a miracle to have my body become as muscular as your Vince, but I am ready to work hard to come close to a beautiful appearance ( By the way thanks for the free book Living Large!) That’s about it. You know more about it than me. Be blessed and thanks for choosing me. ( If it is meant to be!) ( as you ask for a website, I put on 2 dance competitions ( one followed the other) eight month after a major back surgery

  49. My goal for the 16 weeks program is to lose at least 20 lbs and build muscles. Currently I am 43 years young , 5’9″, weigh between 236-239 lbs and body fat is in double digits. I realize that it is ultimately my responsibility to maximize every workout and to clean up my diet and incorporate more fat burning cardio. One of the challenges I face is the fact that I work a full time job and a part time job , so my typical work day is about 14-15 hours. I could go on about how hard it is for me to hit the gym regularly, but I rather focus on finding ways to get better workouts and clean up my diet.

To whom this may concern, my name is Everardo Alfaro currently I’m at 139.6 lbs of body weight at 6.4% Body fat, my current goal is to hit 170 by the end of the year so I have to consistently gain 1 lb of muscle a week. I’m determined to reach my goals by having a near stick diet resulting in me staying sun 8% BF all year round while slowly increasing the weight not body-fat, i feel thermogenic. Also I’m close to benching 100 lbs on flat dumbbell press but went down to focus constant tension like B-PAK, since, I’m training around a wrist sprain injury trying to keep up with my brother who’s 180 lbs. I believe if I’m on point and I don’t carbback load as much i will gain mass this other half of the year instead of staying on adaptation which I did all previous year, having been trained by an ex-miltary from montgoery , Albama. I feel with your aid and expertise in gaining weight I can bounce back from being uber lean, and will also create a succes story on the mean time, im dialed in just need some expertise in growing since im going past failer and being able I train training twice a day sometimes for the whole week and have for three months, I can step off the high volume my body is breaking and becoming sleepless. One client of mine grew by hitting the gym less often and discouraged but never took me of my method to me striated. being able to do 32 wide grip pull ups look up my Instagram. Everalfaro
Thanks for your time and consideration Ryan & Viny cant wait too work with you since I’m also becoming a personal training while earning a bachelors in Health Science with an emphasis in physical therapy from CSUN.

At 58 yrs old (59 in Sept.) I would love to be in a lot better shape. The magic of dropping body fat and increasing muscle helps me feel much better. The road to dropping 25 to 30 pounds of fat and increasing muscle by at least 10 pounds would be the one that would require me to be accountable to someone other than family. If those markers are reached my wife says we go to Hawaii! If not, the money goes to her closet…again.
The accountability is a tremendous drive for me and have the two of you (Vince & Ryan) being the coaches and motivators, would be awesome.
More than anything I want to be able to have the strength, mobility, and endurance to play with my grandchildren. I have 5. All 6 and younger with two more due by the end of September.

So even though I gave up on my body for a while I have recently made a comeback. I want to bench 3 45’s and squat 4 45’s. If possible I would also like to actually get down to 12% body fat too some strengthening of my right partially separated shoulder. Finally when I first started weight training I could do 20 pull-ups and 125 in perfect form.

I have gained back my extra weight and body fat and am having a hard time fitting into my clothes! I want to lose 15 + lbs. of bodyfat and prepare for another Figure Show masters over 55! 💪🏻 My goal last year was also to do a Wonder Woman photo shoot after my competition. This did not happen because I had to fly North and be with my Dad. So this is another goal that I still want to achieve. I have the outfit and props. Just need the body! Thank you!👸

  61. My goals over the next 16 weeks:
    – Tone and build muscle while overcoming my limitations (bad knees, bad back) and learn how to strengthen those weak areas at the same time to allow for long term success.
    – Lower my overall body fat percentage to an acceptable range.
    – Create sustainable healthy habits that will carry me through to my next goals.
    – Prepare my body to become pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy while maintaining the muscles necessary for healthy delivery and quicker recovery.
    – I mean… who doesn’t want abs to show??

I have started and stopped so many times and am so fed up with the constant yo-yo and back/forth on the road to a healthy, strong body. I hunger for the strength that will come from being healthy and for the consistency that comes from creating sustainable habits. I’m seriously ready for change and accountability and coaching to help me achieve these goals that feel so much bigger than me.

  66. My Goal is not necessarily based on weight, just on fat loss, lean muscle growth, waist-shoulder ratio and a flatter stomach. My two fold goal is:

    1. To have a smaller waistline and broaden shoulders to get a shoulder to waist ratio of 1.618, a ‘V-Taper’ look.

    2. To have a flat stomach, abs showing through as a bonus, but mainly getting rid of my belly fat.

  72. Greetings! My name is Paul and I am just past the halfway point of my 68th year in this wonderful life. I have been blessed with high metabolism to this point, but it appears it may be beginning to slow down. When graduating from high school I weighed 155, currently about 168. Haven’t been in a gym in more than 35 years, and have no idea what I need to do when I get there.
Although I was an avid jogger from 30 to 50 my current exercise comes from twice daily dog walks, walking occasionally on hike/bike trails, and occasional bike rides. Over the past 18 years I have seen significant muscle loss.
My goal is to build and strengthen my entire body, as well as it can respond. From arms and shoulders to my calves I want to develop more muscle, strength, and build endurance.
I do need a lot of help! What I do have is the time, the will, and the determination to succeed. It’s the right training that I need the most1
Thank you for your generosity and consideration. Here’s hoping I may have the good fortune to be chosen for your 16 week training program
I would be thoroughly delighted to have the better body I am seeking to develop before my 69th birthday this coming October :-)!!!

I would be humbled to have 16 weeks of personal coaching for the simple reason that I want to be a superhero for kids I speak a lot and give speeches and I think a motivational superhero for kids is what I need to be and that way we bring it down and help future generations succeed where they would not have. I would like 16 weeks of personal coaching for that for the future of this world and the children I would assist as the superhero motivator

  78. I’m about 190 lbs, 19% bf, and I want to establish lifestyle and health habits that will get me to 165lb, 12% bf. I’ve experienced five significant deaths in the past nine months and gained a significant amount of weight, feeling like there wasn’t much of a point investing in myself if it could be taken away at any moment. But I’m determined to come out of that mindset now and live fully and well, with the guidance, relationship, accountability and expertise that comes with coaching. I don’t want to look back on whatever life I have lived and realize that I have wasted any of it.

Hi Vince my name is Cesar Hernandez and I’ve been watching your videos for almost 2 months and they have helped me. I used do things on my own but after I saw the videos and tips you have I was able to improve. My goals are to lose body fat while at the same time gaining muscle. It would be awesome if you were to coach me so that I can improve even more. I started working out because I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and that changed my life completely. I realized that the only way I would not have this experience was to live a healthier lifestyle.

  91. Hey Vince,

I am pleased to be able to post my response to this contest from the UK. Having followed your work since the original NNMB days, I am extremely keen on working with you and Coach Ryan. In deciding to take my body to that next level, I believe the support, guidance and knowledge you guys can provide will help me to reach my ambitious goals. In specific, I will gain 15lbs of muscle in the next 16 weeks (175lbs to 190lbs), whilst shedding 2% body fat to 10%. This includes adding an extra inch to my biceps and legs. However this is just the start. I truly believe that working with such experienced professionals will enable me to take control of my own future workouts, where i can make informed decisions for myself. In June, i will be on a 14 week summer break, which is where my journey to success will begin and i will use this time and beyond to achieve this goal, regardless of what sacrifices i need to make.

  93. Hey Vince,
I am 26 years old and my goal is to get STRONG over the next 16 weeks. I can do 4 strict pull-ups, but I want 8. I am bench pressing 78% of my body weight, but I want to bench press my full body weight. I want to deadlift double my body weight. (I am at (150%\200%). My goal is do decrease my body fat percentage by 5% and have visible abs. I don’t care about my weight as long as I increase muscle and decrease fat.
Aesthetic goals include building my shoulders, glutes, and arms.

Currently I play ultimate 3x/week which makes me run about 12 miles (depending on field position), but I enjoy lifting weights more.

I have always written my own workout programs, but I would love to work with a knowledgeable, and honorable coach like you. My diet is trial and error, but I have great potential when given direction.

  95. My goals are actually quite simple. I would like to be leaner. I would like to have better endurance when working out and doing any cardio. Finally, I want to be able to play with my 4 yr old daughter without getting winded. Obviously, the last one is the most important thing to me. I want her to be proud of me and try to live up to the Superdad image that she has of me. I played many sports in college and high school and like a large amount of athletes I let my body go too far without any kind regulation. I would like to be more full in my chest and arms and more lean on my legs and stomach. One way or another I am going to find a way to make this work for both my health and to make sure I can be there for my family. I would just like to try your methods to get me started on the correct track and show the results after being diligent and committed to my cause.

  96. Hello Vince, I will be 51 at the end of the month. I also am a Type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump. I have been working out for a year and a half. I tried a 12 week program from a local young trainer and did not see what I wanted to see. I got stronger but did not get leaner. I was always skinny till my 40’s now skinny-fat. My 16 week goal is to get leaner in order to have better insulin sensitivity as well to strengthen my core for my back pain and gain size and strength just to be healthier for my retirement years to enjoy the outdoors. The hardest part I have is my eating. Because sometimes I can’t work out because of low or high blood glucose levels. This makes it tough to train. I am on week 3 of you living large program. but of course could use extra help due to my diabetes.

  97. My 16 week goal would be to get from my current weight which is 74 kg (lean) to 80 kg. I have a height of 5’11. I want to be able to squat 120 kg with strict form, currently 90 kg 4 reps. Bench press 90 kg. Deadlift 140 kg, but currently I can only do above a 100 kg. I want to focus on my posterior chain as it is very weak.

I want to shove the word ‘stick’ down the throats of people who STILL use it for me.

    Hey Vince,

I’m soon to be 59 years young, in July, I’ve been lifting since age 44. Having gotten a late start in the lifting world, I feel I missed out on my peak performance years. While I’m in fairly good shape for my age, my belly fat seems to be increasing no matter what I eat or don’t. I’m 5’9″, 167#, 23bmi & I don’t seem to be gaining any muscle tone in the last year, just maintaining. I understand that as one ages it becomes more difficult to gain muscle as testosterone decreases, also I have some health issues, kidney problems, that limit my ability to ingest protein supplements. I try to maintain a high protein diet….mainly chicken breast, Turkey etc, however I REALLY need help to lose my gut, gain muscle & with my diet. Also historically I’ve been a hard-gainer, usually having a thin physique, but now im skinny-fat lol…PLEASE HELP BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE FOR ME TO IMPROVE AT ALL…IM VERY MOTIVATED….THANK YOU,

    Dennis Freeland

  99. Hello,

My name is Kyle. I am 30 years old. A brief summary of me is I’ve always been an out of shape guy until around 24 when I started my journey to weight loss. I then started getting into sports (which I’ve never been in shape to play sports). I got results doing the sports and always worked out more than my poor eating habits. I fell into a hole and gained weight back again and realized a few key things, lack of a support group, knowledge of nutrition and weight lifting put me at a disadvantage. I’ve sought out knowledge and have had slow and steady progress.

My goal in the 16 weeks is to cut 10% (I’ve got plenty more to burn) body fat, enhance my sport performance and enhance my overall knowledge of health and fitness so after the 16 weeks I can maintain a healthy life style tailored to my habits.

  100. I am 34 years old and have been lifting hard since I was 16. Yet, I’m the same weight today as I was when I was a junior in college (haven’t put on much muscle in the last decade+). I also haven’t added much weight to my upper body lifts in the last 10 years. I’ve tried every routine you can think of (dogcrap, 5/3/1, 5 x 5, 6 days a week, 3 days a week, CrossFit, Insanity, P90x, MI40x, Bigger Leaner Stronger). My 16 week goal would be to learn HOW to properly adjust the variables so that I can control my body transformation over time (bulking and cutting). I am ~180lbs and ~12% body fat. My goal is to get to 190lbs and <10% body fat. In the next 16 weeks, I would love to add 5 lbs of muscle and lose 2% body fat.

I’m 31 years old with a 3 year old daughter. Before I got married I succeeded in dropping from 231 lbs to 196 lbs in about 7 months. I put on about half the weight during the honeymoon. Since then, I’ve been up and down (mostly up) with my weight. What’s making this even more challenging for me at this point is I’m beginning a 4-10 work schedule (four, 10 hours days with 3 days off) and I work at LAX Airport. My commute is usually about 1.5 to two hours and this is before the summer rush when traffic will be a nightmare. My ultimate goal is to get in the best shape of my life for my daughter who always wants me to play so that I can teach her healthy habits. Physically, my goal in 16 weeks will be do drop about 25 lbs of body fat and add on about 10 lbs of muscle.

  104. I’m a 62 y/o male, employed as an RN and have been training for 30+ yr’s off and on. I’m 5’6″, 168 lbs., estimated body fat 15%, waist 32″. I consider myself in pretty good shape but know I can accomplish a lot more with expert guidance on training and nutrition to motivate me to accomplish more. Furthermore, the accountability caused by being professionally coached is a huge motivation. Since enrolling in your MYM training program I have enjoyed training even more. The changes in the routines, the exercises, sets and reps have driven me to push myself harder than ever. I had been using basically the same routine for quite a while, experiencing some gains but not as much as I could have potentially. It’s so easy to get into a wt/rep range that you’re comfortable with and not push yourself, make changes that will cause your body to continue to change and grow. I want to push myself and I enjoy comparing my physique and accomplishments to those much younger. I want to demonstrate to others that you can improve our health and physique as you get older and show that age is only a number. I want to continue building my strength and endurance so that I can maintain and even improve my health as I get older. This will also help me to take better care of my patients and hopefully, allow me to work until I want to quit and not stop because of my age or physical limitations. Some #’s I have in mind is a bodyweight between 155-160, waist 30-31%, and bodyfat 10-12%. I certainly have no intentions to retire anytime soon and I want to live my life physically to it’s fullest while I’m living!

  106. Today is my 42nd birthday and last year (2017) in February I was 267 lbs. With the birth of my daughter I realized I would not be able to be the father I wanted to be if I continued on the same health path I was on. So I made a decision to change my life and started following Vince. I have purchased the NNFL program and in the last year I have lost weight, inches and gained muscle. I now weigh 205 lbs and feel better than I have in my entire life.

I would love to win this 16 week coaching opportunity as I know that I would really put into action the workout program and nutrition program. I have lost a lot weight and look great, but I would love to be toned and get rid of the last bit of fat that is still holding on.

My 16 week goal would be to loose inches, fat % and be toned and strong.

I look forward to hearing from you!

  109. I am 5’2.5, 170 and about 34% body fat .. in about 16 weeks I have a pt test . Goal #1 is to drop my body fat % at least 10% and start looking shredded. Goal #2 is to knock a couple inches off my waist line. Goal #3 is to drop my run time by a minute or so with some hiit cardio and set myself up for future success.. If I can be taught what to do then once my 16 weeks are up I will be set. It’s really discouraging to try everything and nothing is working. Sometimes we all need a little help to get started or get over the hump.

My 16 week goals are to put on 15-20 pounds of muscle. I want to achieve this to be proud of my own body and use it as an example to be able to inspire and serve others that they can have the body they have dreamed of. I am just getting started in building an online fitness business and working with Vince and Ryan would not only ensure my success but provide greater value and credibility to my future clients. This would be a fantastic opportunity and I appreciate your consideration.

  113. My goal is to gain muscle mass and lose a little body fat. I am 5’8” 148lbs 12 % body fat. I started a little over 2 months ago at 134 lbs and 15% body fat. I am 33 years old and tired of being skinny. I am already committed and very determined. My goal is to gain 20 lbs in the next 16 weeks and lose some body fat. I would prefer to focus more towards upper body but certainly don’t want to neglect lower body. I am going to accomplish my goal regardless but would love to have coaching and guidance from the best in the business. This will only increase my chances of crushing my goals.

My problem has always been gaining muscle, it seems no matter what I have tried in the past, I cannot gain muscle. I would love to learn from you guys how to lose the fat and gain the muscle.

  120. I’m bought in as you know, Vince. We start online business coaching in a month, I’m coming to the Toronto mastermind in August and I’ve completed NNMB and now working my way through Living Large, where I’ve gained 10 lbs of muscle in the first 10 weeks.

I have committed myself to training for my very first NPC competition this November for Men’s Physique Category. At 6’2 and 206 lbs, I will need help cultivating better shoulders and chest, as well as getting into the correct BF range for competition.

And you KNOW I’m going to post a bunch of selfies in the TDM Facebook group and inspire and have testimonials out the yin-yang for you.

At 39 with prior shoulder and elbow injuries, I didn’t think I could ever get back into the gym with any regularity but things are getting better every week. I would like to take 16 weeks and develop a tailor made program/diet that I can execute with confidence. The knowledge that it was “made for me” would take my mental focus to another level!

Hi. I’m slightly on the skinny-fat side. I’m 6’1” and weigh about 190, but I can’t see my abs and I’m not as muscular as I want to be. I’ve tried tons of different programs with little to no results. I need major help. I know most of the problems are with my nutrition. I never know exactly how much I should eat and I don’t keep track of it like I should. I try to take in at least 1gram of protein per pound of body weight every day and try keeping my fat and carb intake lower, but it’s not really working. Please help!!!

  125. I am a 64 year old pastor, who has been serious about my fitness level for the past 15 years. Two years ago I became a certified personal Trainer through ACE. I currently weigh 156 lbs with an estimated BF% of about 10%.

I decided to become a personal trainer in order to help me better realize my life mission – to be a positive change agent in the lives of others physically, emotionally and spiritually. (Ephesians 4:11-16)

Goal 1: To learn proper mechanics and techniques. I believe I have a good base of knowledge, but would like to fine-tune the mechanics of how to teach proper technique. I feel working with you and Ryan would be a valuable resource to achieve that goal.

Goal 2: To enhance my over physical appearance by decreasing BF% to 8%, increase weight to 158-160 lbs and increase fitness level. I want to learn what is the best method for a 64 year man to transform his body. I live in Bradenton, FL. Both in my church and in the YMCA I work part-time as a trainer, there are a lot of seniors who could benefit from increased strength and fitness. There are also “younger” people who want to become more physically fit before they begin their “senior years.” My present appearance is a source of inspiration for them, and working with you and Ryan I believe I can enhance my physique as well as fitness level and use the knowledge I gain from working with you in order to help others.

Goal 3: To develop an on-line presence in fitness and strength for seniors. I expect to “retire” as a full-time pastor in the next 2 years. I would like to have in place a growing on-line presence in regards to fitness. I believe working with you and Ryan can be beneficial in helping me develop a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise in achieving that goal.

  129. I’ll be 60 years old in November. I’ve had diabetes for over 10 years and feel awful most of the time. I’ve got o good history of training that dates back into the 70’s. However, I have not stepped into the gym for months now due to caring for my wife. She had foot surgery and I’ve been playing nurse. All of this is true, but I’m ashamed to say she has been up and about for weeks now and she told me to go back to the gym. It’s just that I can’t. I have such terrible pain in my knees and back that I look like an invalid. I’m ashamed of what I’ve become. I started being a competitive bodybuilder and power lifter in 1980. The last bodybuilding show I did was in 2009. Presently I weigh a spongy soft 260. With clothes on I look just fine. I stand at 6’1′.
I desperately need of a swift kick in the ass. I’m miserable and not very happy. I know I can do better. Please consider me for your program. I’ll give you 100% and will expect 100% from my efforts. Thank you.

I have tried a lot of things, I am 175lbs, and would say I am in intermediate shape, I would love to cut my shape, build muscle, and have my abs pop……this would be a great thing to bring in to my life as a routine is lacking, and I gym when I can, 3-4 days a week, using various programs

  150. I’ve been a fitpro for 12 years but ever since I started my own business I’ve really let myself go. Work and stress overwhelmed me. I lost my abs and although I’m no longer fat, I really think I don’t want to wait for that ‘perfect time’ to get in shape anymore.

My first workout program was yours, Vince. You’ve really motivated me to start all those years ago and right now staring at the mirror I don’t feel that this is the real me. I’m not living my potential here.

This year in 2018 I’ve created a commitment to myself, my people, and my audience – to take ownership of all communication. And that means to speak on videos and in person as well as the work I do, and to look as good as I talk.

I want to be muscular and ripped for the rest of my life. I don’t believe I can’t have it all. I deserve to look good, be wealthy, and at the same time help impact the lives I meet along the way.

My scale says I’m 75kg. I want to be 80kg ripped, so I want to recomp and by 8% bodyfat at 80kg.

    Please coach me!

  151. Hi there,
I am currently weighing 88 KG and would like to lose 8 KG of bodyfat. I am the most difficult person to work with (I’ll fill you in on the details after I win). I only have a maximum of three hours a week to workout. See you on the other side.

  155. To create a classic physique using the mindset principles demonstrated by Coach Vince and Ryan. To teach others these same methods in how to create the body they have always wanted.
