What Are YOUR Goals?

By Vince Del Monte, WBFF Pro Fitness Model, Certified Fitness Trainer and Nutritionist and author of No Nonsense Muscle Building.

My coach, Ryan, and I want to GIVE AWAY 16 weeks of customized 1-on-1 coaching to someone who tells us their 16 week fitness goal in the comments section below. Anyone is eligible to win and all you need to do is tell us why you deserve 16 weeks of 100% FREE 1-on-1 coaching, which will give you access to TWO coaches, not just one.

If you could achieve ONE goal in the next 16 weeks, what would it be?

Do you want to gain more muscle? Do you want to lose more fat? How many pounds do you want to gain or lose over the next 16 weeks? What is your dream body fat level? What body parts are you going to enhance? What do you want your 1 rep max to be in the bench, deadlift and squat? What kind of goals do you want to achieve despite your crazy busy life and travel schedule? When do you want to get your Pro Card as a physique athlete? Imagine how much faster your fitness business would explode with an INSANE set of before and afters?

We prefer setting 16 week goals with our 1-on-1 clients because it’s a generous time frame to make DRASTIC changes in how you look, feel and perform, but it’s also not an overwhelming time frame to commit to. Sixteen weeks supports our belief,  Success Happens In Spurts!

So, tell us what your 16 week goal is in the comments section below.

Once you’re done, take it a step further – cut and paste your response, throw it into a word document, and PRINT IT OFF. Sign it. Date it. Hand it to a friend to hold you accountable. We believe that goals without deadlines are just dreams. We’re not interested in helping people hit their genetic potential, we’re interested in helping you BLOW BEYOND your genetic potential, and these extra steps are what separates the winners from the losers.

Heck, if you TRULY want to achieve your goals, put some blood in the game. Some of your OWN blood. How?

INCENTIVES:  You can use the “carrot” or the “stick” method. The “carrot” method is based on giving yourself a gift when you achieve your goal. This is great but I’ve learned it’s not nearly as effective as the “stick” method. This is when you punish yourself for not taking action or achieving your goals.

For example, you could donate $1,000 to the charity or political party YOU DO NOT SUPPORT if you fail to achieve your goal. Give the money to a friend before starting your goal to ensure you’re committed. I guarantee you’ll change your habits when you put some blood in the game with the “stick” method.

What are you waiting for? Tell us your 16 week goal below and give yourself the chance to win 16 weeks of FREE 1-on-1 personalized coaching with me and Ryan.

To be frank, if you’re not willing to *post* your goal, you might as well kiss away your hopes of ever achieving it… now is the time to step up and make it happen — Ryan and I are in your corner.

Can’t wait to read your goals below,

Vince

P.S. Posting your goal below might seem like a small step but it’s a very POWERFUL form of accountability. Be detailed with your goals. Something magical happens when you write out your goals in front of an “audience.” This is the first key to your success… tell us your 16 week goal by writing it below!

Trust me, this one step will get you fired up….  Good luck and don’t forget to add your first and last name below.

  4. I will try to make this short and simple. I want to play football and I truly believe that you can help me be a starter. I feel as though I lack the confidence that is necessary for leaving my all on the field. I promise that I will be dedicated in order to achieve this goal. If you give me the chance to prove myself, I can assure you that you won’t regret this decision. Thank you.

  5. Hey Vince,

I’ve been following your 8-8-16 program I have been seeing amazing results. My current goal is to get down to around %8 body fat, while regaining my strength. I would like to enter in a local amateur competition. My overall goal is to build a body worth getting noticed by the WWE.

  6. My goal is to get bigger arms and bigger legs, and a flatter stomach. These are the only thing I’m missing in order to try and be a professional bodybuilder.

  7. Hey Vince and Ryan!
    My goals are :
Cannon ball delts! There is nothing more aesthetically pleasing than nice big rounded delts. Feel like my shoulders don’t pop out and aren’t as rounded.
Big Arms (currently 15 inch want 16.5 with no pump)
Solid calves (currently sitting at 14.5 and want them at 16)
    Ripped abs
Solid chest (39 inches and want to grow to 41) and thick v taper back
To have a new version for me and a new baseline to grow even further.
I want to inspire my family and friends around me with just my progress in physique alone and not a word spoken by me.
And most importantly gain knowledge and grow as a person to be set for life!!

I am a reasonably fit guy but I need to break a barrier that I have not broken before. I am getting married in a year!! and yes everyone needs to rock up to their wedding day reception being the best version of themselves. I owe it to my Wife on the day :)
But there’s and added incentive in store. I will be getting married on a beach and want to look good for the reception. There is no better time to rock up shredded, big and be the version of the man that no one has ever seen before!! The minute I walk out I want to shock them in a way that will uplift and inspire them!
Id be privileged Vince and Ryan if selected!. I have followed your programs and principles with good results in the past and I know how much in demand you guys are, but I wouldn’t trust anyone else with this investment in me.

  8. Hi Vince

I have been following you for awhile now and I think that you and Ryan could seriously cause a tremendous transformation for me. I have never personally hired a personal trainer but I feel that a personal trainer would be good to invest in and be able to gain more knowledge as an amateur bodybuilder. Unfortunately I do not have enough money to be able to invest in a personal trainer since I am still in school and around $45,000 in debt because of student loans. I would really like to improve my body further than what it is now and will push through any training that I have to do to achieve that body. So glad that you guys are doing this and keep it up.

  9. Hey guys great and awesome work you do as far as I can tell. Sorry before my brother told me about you i never really heard of you….sorry…:(

I’m a trainer my self simple and to the point I love what I do. I’ve trained professionally since 1999-2000. From years in California to Georgia to now back in Missouri where I’m from. I’ve learned alot don’t know it all ,don’t claim to. I just have a passion for making a difference and expressing a God given gift to coach and hopefully make a difference in lives touched with life. Hardship, trials, challenges and low self worth issues you name it.If I can help facilitate change hope and a little more confidence then it’s all worth the effort. simply said trying to build a new business in a small town doesnt always allow enough time to quality train oneself. Could I make some changes absolutely…to be your best has got to involve action. I’m not unlike my own clients at times I get tired run down, and can’t…ha..won’t always do what I need nor need what I do. But, even a coach needs a coach and at a seemingly set body weight of 185 at 6feet and needing a probably waist I could wash clothes on would be nice with a little added muscle and BF% loss would be sweet to. But then the best of the treasure would still be the knowledge to keep sharing just that and helping someone else at keeping their vision more vertical than horizontal. Thanks for your great work..and in the words of the Bujinkan’s Grand master Maasaki Hatsumi..”Keep it going”

  10. Thank you for taking your time to not only share your experience and knowledge, but to offer such a generous and life improving opportunity for those who are struggling or have not figured out how to have the success they seek.

I was always considered the “fat kid.” Even when I was in the Army, I was always struggling with the weight and body fat standards. I look back at those pictures and I hate that I let so much external opinion devalue my worth and self image. I’ve been able to embrace my curvy stature as I’ve gotten older, but I’ve also learned that while being a woman with curves is a natural and beautiful thing, it can also have negative applications and limitations. Not only with how you are perceived by other people, but with the ability to have life beyond your own.

I suffered for a pretty long time after 2 failed pregnancies, but was able to bounce back fairly well and managed to get close to a more acceptable, but still over weight range. A couple of years ago, at the end of my mother‘s life, I put on 40lbs in 3 ½ months. I was still working out 5-6 days a week and had no change in my diet, and all that anyone could tell me was stress. Within a couple of months, my cycle completely disappeared. 14 months later and all sorts of tests and blood work, still no real clue on what is going on with my body. I have tried everything that friends, coworkers and professionals have suggested to try to regain control of not only my weight, but normalcy for my body has had any impact. No sodas, no sugars, no processed food, this workout program or lifting schedule has not provided any relief from this additional, very uncomfortable weight.

While I do not believe that there is a bad choice from all those who have submitted their goals and stories with you, I do hope that I have the opportunity to have two fantastically smart and supportive people to not only help me overcome the additional burden these extra 40 pounds, but truly conquer the weight and “fat kid” image that has plagued me. I would love to get back into fighting shape and share the tools I learn with others who struggle to find their way to health and a fit lifestyle.

  11. I think is ok to mention our age, I’am 50 years old, and I live in Cd. Juarez, Chih. Mexico, next to El Paso tx. crossing the border. I mention were I live also because were I live we don’t have many experienced trainees or couches, we are a far behind in nutrition, bodybuilding Technics and so. In the gym were I workout when people see me doing the carries (overhead, farmer, etc) they look me as I’m wired, and Nobody do the full squats because they said is bad for your knees. I have tried many programs and I always complete my programs sometimes with a little modification, but noting give me good results, I play soccer in Saturdays also, and like to play as hard as I can, but my problem is that I can’t train hard as son as I try to load more weight my joints hurts, even on Saturdays after play soccer my legs (knees and joins) ends with a lot of pain, and in Mondays when I return to workout my legs are still very soreness. I like a lot to train my legs I like do back and front squats, deadlifts an all variation lower body exercises, but always get injured, I have chicken legs and is difficult for me to make any progress in my legs. so I was thinking to quit playing soccer, after like 30 years. because I need to build some muscle i want to gain 10 pounds of pure muscle, and get shred. another problem is that if I tried to eat more of what I usually eat everything goes to my belly section as fat. so train harder get injured, eat more get fat. I need a good guidance. I’am 5.5 high and 156 lbs.

Family, business etc. I’m well out of shape, underweight and would love to have the build and motivation I once had or as close to it. I want to start reaping the benefits of exercise but just need a jump start and push. Thanks for the consideration.

  13. In 15 weeks and 2 days is the day my first competition will be taking place. I feel like this could be a perfect opportunity to really make something of myself and reaching my goals in placing top 5 at my first show. I’ve gone through MI40 multiple times and I’m halfway trough round 2 of Hypertrophy MAX. The changes I’ve made to my body over the last two years are incredible and I know with this opportunity you are presenting I think I will not only place top 5 but win MY show in 15 weeks. Actions speak louder than words! Thank you for the opportunity!

However, when I went through so many comments, there are many people around here Who seem to be in dire stress and maybe would be more fair to win this wonderful prize.
I actually don’t envy you coaches Vince and Ryan for having to choose…
    Thanks for the chance anyway

  16. Kenny Vande Velde March 21, 2014 at 4:05 pm - Reply

    Hey Vince and Ryan.

I’m Kenny. I’m 20 years old and I am currently 6 feet tall, about 175lbs with 10% body fat. I am pretty tired of being skinny. I cracked my lower spine in high school a couple of times and was taken out of sports and all lifting by the doctor’s orders. I fell behind all of my peers because of this, and I was not cleared to lift again until 2 years later. I am serious about my goals for this year:
    1. Hit 200lbs, if not in 16 weeks, then by the end of 2014.
    2. I want a very balanced physique. Upper and lower body need to be developed correctly.
    3. I want to eat even healthier than I do now, and prepare all my own meals
    4. I would love for my 1RM on bench to be close to 300lbs. Currently under 200.
    5. It would be awesome to deadlift over 400lbs by the end of 16 weeks!
    6. I need my lower back pain to finally go away. It’s caused by my L5 vertebrae that never fused together when I was younger. Doctors say the pain and the weakness will disappear with increased lower back strengthening and muscle building.

Thank you guys for the opportunity, no matter who gets it! I appreciate all of the videos and programs and knowledge you put out, often for free, so that average men and women (physically speaking) can become great.

    God Bless,
    Kenny

  17. I’m leading the Never Too Late for Fitness Revolution by paving the way for anyone over 50 who wants to use fitness to live a longer, healthier and happier life. In order to motivate and inspire others to adapt a healthier lifestyle I must model the way. That means being in the best shape of my life at 65. My 16 week goal is to weigh 185 with body fat of 10%. With your help losing 15 pounds of fat and adding 10 pounds of muscle is achievable. A caveat to my goal is this: I want to design a sustainable lifestyle that not only helps me (and others) achieve my goal but maintain it for years to come. For me to reach the people who can benefit most I can’t just talk the talk, I have to walk the walk. I must be the solution they desire.
I realize that only a small percentage of people over 50 want to be body builders or live the body builders’ lifestyle. However, almost everyone over 50 can benefit from a healthy lifestyle that includes fitness and sound nutrition. These are the same people who look at the typical body builder and say, “I’d never want to look like that.” However, when they find out I’m 65 and not 50 or younger they want to know, “How did you do that?”
When I reach my goal I’ll be able to create even more of those life changing conversations. With your help, I’ll get there sooner.
My motto in life is, “live, learn, share and make a difference”. I hope you’ll join me in spreading the word that, “It’s never too late for fitness.”

  18. I’m 35. I have had two children (16 and 6 years old). I have taken advantage of Vince and Flavia’s curvaliscious, flavaliscious, 25 day fat loss, anabolic cookbook and a few more. I have ALMOST reached my goal (which is no longer 12o-125 lbs on the scale, I am 5’4 135 lbs and 26% body fat ) but I desire to be 18% body fat and RIPPED. I think my issue may be hormonal because of the way fat collects around my stomache, butt, and upper hamstring area. My issue has to be diet, supplementation, and target workouts. I want to be a hot mom again. I would like to wear shorts and a bathing suit to Las Vegas this summer! I would like to inspire others. I want people to KNOW that I work out and eat right.

  25. Hey Vince and Ryan :). I’m Edi. I’ve finally come to the conclusion that I’am “skinny fat” as Vince likes to call it. I carry the genes that make all other programs like p-90x and insanity a waste a money with minor results, nothing but failure for me. I’m 23 weigh in at 107, 5’5″ tall and can’t seem to go past 112. I’ve tried and failed probably due to the lack of support and mentor ship. I’m sure that’s the main problem. I’m most likely the female version of you Vince; cross country star, nothing but skinny bones while all my other friends get fit with simple routines I am left behind trapped, always people saying, “aw your so skinyyy”. So with this opportunity you’ve given a special someone. I’d love to be the chosen one and prove with you both that in fact this isn’t nonsense bodybuilding. I’d like to be your best next transformation and gain 20-25lbs of muscle. Don’t let the fact I’m a female fool you. I don’t want to be wimpy softie no more. I’m ready for some change. 110% in!

  27. Like many my goals are simple, yet complex. As an older Figure competitor I would like to transform my physique to a higher level by gaining more muscle in my shoulders, details in my back, pull in legs and glutes tighter and bring in a much more defined abs package. While I have held my own at competitions its time to challenge my 50 years young and make the nagging chronic health issues stand up & take notice (chronic liver disease, adenomal FAP & no colon, celiac disease & MGUS (precursor to multiple myeloma which is now rearing its ugly head)… I would like to transform to a better tighter physique and get my comp weight up to 110 w/7-9% body fat… While improving my healthy lifestyle all year round so that I can help others & show older women that it is never too late to make the change and get healthy so you can enjoy life more!

  28. I broke my back in the first gulf war, and was unable to lift for a lot of years. I ended up getting medically discharged due to back issues, and ended up on a pain contract (Morphine and Percocet 24×7) before age 40. After my 40th birthday, I finally decided to look into alternative medicine to help with my back, as I was trying to avoid surgery. I found a Russian deep tissue massage therapist who was able to help me immensely over the course of a year.

After that I was finally able to start working out again, albeit not very strenuously at first. I was up to 335 pounds and very fat. I’m not sure what by bodyfat percentage was, but it was embarrassing. I started with Tony Horton’s Power 90 workouts, then graduated to P90X, then Insanity. I had managed to get down to around 255-260 and was feeling much better overall. I then tore my rotator cuff and stopped working out for months. My weight went back up to around 290-300. Once that healed, I started with the Stronglifts 5×5 workouts.

I followed the Stronglifts for almost a year, and got pretty strong. My bench press was 315, my squat was 505, but my deadlift was only about 405 (didn’t work on it much). I was eating like I thought a bodybuilder was supposed to eat… every 3 hours, lots of protein, lots of calories… but my weight/bodyfat wasn’t going down… and my joints hurt all the time from lifting heavy. It was about this time that I discovered Brad Pilon’s Eat-Stop-Eat book about intermittent fasting. For me, it was like a lightbulb going off. If you are over 10% bodyfat, then all of the rules that you read in the muscle mags go out the window. The biggest key is to strip bodyfat as quickly as possible, which helps lower chronic inflammation, and rebalances your hormones.

I started using intermittent fasting and a reverse taper diet (low calorie, but increasing as my weight came down). I ramped up to the maintenance calories needed for my target weight (initially 200 pounds). I started by fasting 3 days a week (MWF), then 2 days a week (MF), and finally one day a week (Monday). I am now using the 16/8 method… where I fast 16 hours a days, and eat all of my meals in the other 8 hours – with the carbs all pre/post workout.

In the past year, I have gone from 315 pounds at 30%+ bodyfat, down to 212 pounds at 12.5% bodyfat (measured by DXA scan). Based on calculations from that scan, my ideal bodyweight would be 208 pounds at 10% bodyfat. I’m currently right around 210-214 pounds. I’m looking to gain about 5 pounds of muscle and lose about 5-7 pounds of fat. My strength goals are 300 pound bench press, 400 pound squat, and 500 pound deadlift (1200 club). Currently my bench press is 260, my squat is 335, and my deadlift is 405.

I think I have achieved the easy results (low hanging fruit), and I am now reaching that point where I need more professional help in designing my diet (my BIG weakness) and workout routine to get me across the finish line. Going from 30% to 12.5% bodyfat was fairly easy (relatively speaking). I believe getting from 12.5% down to 10% or lower will be much harder – and that seems to be where a lot of people stall. I believe this is where your offer would help me immensely. I have stripped most of the fat, and I am ready to build back some muscle/strength (while still losing a little bit more fat).

In the last 14 months I have made a 200% inprovement in my 1 rep max and I am currently training at 70% of it(standard bench. So if I can add another 10 pounds on my bench in 16 weeks, I will feel better. I would also like to continue to reverse the muscle atrophy I developed from being bed ridden for so long.

  30. I will be 40 next month. I have a condition called 46 XX male syndrome sry+. Basically it means I have the genetic make up of a female but the sry gene made me a male. So I have low T and my fsh and lh is through the roof. My T level is not low enough for the drs to put me on meds but low enough I have very little energy. I am 5’9″and 175lbs with a very small frame. And I do have the man boobs. I want to lose the man boobs and add muscle every where. If you want a challenge I’ve got it. This rare genetic anomaly is 1 in 20,000 or 50 in a million. I would love the help!

  31. Due to a change in lifestyle 3 1/2 years ago, I have put on 40 pounds. Previous to that change, I competed in bodybuilding. I want to shed that 40 pounds of lard and compete again. The biggest challenge I have (and you would have, if I win this 16 week coaching) is dealing with my hormones (or lack thereof), as I’m 64 years old and things just aren’t going like they did 10 years ago when I first started competing. I’m eating 95% clean and do weight workouts 4x/wk. Please, please help me so I can step back on that stage again. I KNOW I can do this with the right coaching and support!

    Thanks!

I would love any help that you could give me. I feel that at this moment I have hit rock bottom and the only way is up. This set back is due to a tree landing on top of me and almost killing me in Oct. Now that I am able to work out once again I am super excited to achieve my fitness goals. 36. My 16 week goal is to go from 160 13% body fat to 175 with 10% body fat. Last January I weighed 180 with 25% body fat and I dropped all the way down to 148 in October of last year with 11% body fat using tips from Vince on YouTube. I am trying to gain mass again but it’s tough balancing school, 2 hour varsity volleyball practice and weight lifting everyday. I plan on achieving this goal by following my newly purchased the MI40 program. I am beginning the primer today, the detox Monday and the actual program next Monday.

  37. Hi Guys,
By the end of the 16 weeks I need to have an improved immune system to help fight 2 recent bouts of melanoma. My goal is to reduce body fat from 20% to 10% and maintain my 92kg weight for a male who is 182cm and 53 years old. I can either keep my fingers crossed and hope I stay healthy or put my body and mind into training and stay fighting fit. Like lots of things in life you need help at certain times.
My commitment at the end of the 16 weeks is to donate $500 to the Melanoma foundation and participate in fun raising activities to help raise additional funds for research.
I need to be responsible and do everything I can to stay well and ensure my wife and 2 children have my support over the coming years.

  41. Hello Vince,
First let me introduce myself. Whole my life I was skinny just like you years and years ago. Im 17 years old. I started with skinny 120 pounds bones and water I remember I could barley do 1 repetition of 10kg dumbell bicep curl, I trained like a beast, now year after I have 160 pounds, 6 ft (185 cm) and about 10 % bodyfat ,you and your friend BPak helped me alot I watched all your videos on your youtube channel and reed your book No nonsense muscle building. I want to enhace my biceps because its geneticly thin in front view(my biggest problem), I want to enhace my chest because my left chest i bigger then my right, general my chest is slow growing. I want to leave the gym sweating, shaking, and out of breath, it sounds little sadistic but my bars are high. My 16-week goal is to gain 25 pounds of lean muscle mass, and drop some body fat from 10 % to 8 % . My one-rep max for bench – 80 kg(170 pounds), deadlift – 100kg (220 pounds), squat – 90 kg(198 pounds). My dream is to study biomechanic, kinesiology, and one day become a fitness model. I can imagine that and Im redy to do it, with You and Ryan. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!

  43. I have a dream goal and want so much to achieve it. I have tried and gotten so close but in my attempt to achieve my goal, I have gotten the opposite results. I don’t want to just say I want to be a lean and ripped as I can, I think everyone would like that. What I want to achieve are unbelievable results to make it to the back pages of oxygen magazine where they show what readers and non-professionals have achieved. I think most would love that so what do I THINK I have that would peak the interest of this magazine? Well it is not so much getting super fit, ANYONE young enough with moderate effort can achieve results and with extreme effort can do amazing. My desire is to show women how amazing you can get and show older women in the mix of the exceptional. THIS is my GOAL! I am a power lifter and have 3 world titles and 1 national title for my weight class and lift 2 times my body weight at 112(114 compt class) and I am a competitive rower. I am going to be 62 years old in July and I want to encourage women that extreme fitness and health is not just for younger women as what is shown in all the magazines. I am an engineer and not a professional fitness expert. I need help to get there.

  49. I have always been “heavier” then most females my age even so I was very determined to reach my goals in sports. I surprised a lot of people with what I was able to accomplish and I received a full ride scholarship to a D1 college to play basketball. I was in the best shape of my life at that time. I was the strongest person on my team physically and I was admired for that since I was a point guard and I was not “normal” for my position. After college my passion left me and not only did I not know what happened to it but I began to question my ability to do things that I once did. Last year I got fed up with my weight and health and decided to do something about it. I lost about 30lbs in 3-4 months and it felt great. I went on vacation and when I came home stagnation slowly set it and I have gained almost all of the weight back. In the midst of losing weight I did so many different things, eating clean, doing Insanity, taking fat burners (various kinds), HCG, and supplement company challenges. After switching everything up like that I have no idea what “formula” actually worked for me and now I am just lost. Because of this I feel as if any of the “cookie cutter” programs I try are not going to work after I invest time and money into them. I would love to get a personal trainer but I cant afford them so I am left at trying to figure it out on my own which is getting very difficult. I am at the point of depression now because I know I can be so much better than what I am doing now, I just need help and guidance. I don’t know the exact figures of what my ideal physique would be but I know how I want to look and I believe I would need to lose at least 45lbs of fat. Ultimately I want an extremely aesthetic look. Very defined arms, legs, back, & torso, with 10-15% body fat so I can compete later this year. I believe that this program has the right direction and nutrition that would help me achieve the figure I want. In 16 weeks this program would get me closer to my goals and that’s not something I can just pass up. My goals are a little different then what others have posted however I hope that doesn’t hinder my chances. Thank you for your consideration.

I would so like to have my shoulders free of inflammation and pain. I’ve tried supplements and none seem to work. I am in decent shape, slightly above average, and I have been looking to compete in my first Physique competition in November. I have never competed before and I am nervous that my routine, lifting, eating and supplements will not be adequate enough for me to be a serious contender.

With your help I will be able to stand on stage with absolute confidence knowing there was nothing else I could do because I gave 115%.

  58. Hey Vince,

As a former U.S. Marine and martial artist I cringe whenever I look into that mirror. I have been graced with a fast metabolism however keeping weight on is definitely a challenge. I am currently 165 lbs but have lost quite a bit of muscle tone. I do not trust many trainers in the gyms near me, for 3 years ago I injured myself doing what I was told. Turns out that trainer wound up in rehab for cocaine and steroids! I have been watching your you tube channel and your knowledge is impressive and genuine. It would be an honor to be coached by you and your team! As an entrepreneur I have neglected to take care of myself, it’s been work work work and I have had enough. It is “Me” time and I am confident that your passion and expertise will catapult me back to the center of Mind, Body, Spirit! My goal is to achieve 190 lbs 8-10% body fat. My legs need massive work as does my chest for I have never been able to get the Pecs we all dream of. What ever it takes, this Marine will make it happen. Please help!

    Sincerely,
    Anthony Vincent

  59. Well I am coming back from a lifting vacation due to injury and big life changes. I have taken a month and a half off and lately have been doing some research into the best ways to come back from such a time. My 16 week goal is to first set up a game plan for the next 90 days on my workouts (time, split/full, etc) meals and rest as to get back into it. In doing this I want to stick to it with 100% success rate in keeping myself accountable. With that in mind, my physical goal is to go from my 172lb 13% bodyfat frame, into a 185lb, 10% bodyfat frame. The time is now! Thanks for allowing me this opportunity to get it out to the public!

    Hi,

My goal for the next 16 weeks is to gain muscle without adding too much fat during this training program . I am doing my exercises from last 2 years but I did not found any remarkable progress in my body .

These days I am feeling very de-motivated if such thing will continue then I have to leave my fitness and remain as it is what I am now.

It will be a great help if you can include me in this training and guide me so that I can also gain muscles and able to prove myself.

    Many thanks in advance :)

  61. For the past two and a half years I had been taking care of my mother who has dementia. My work out time was really just time to clear my head and to relieve stress and fight against all the diner food she liked to eat. A month ago I moved her to a memory care facility where they are providing the level of care I could not give. Now that I know she is in good hands I want to use my workouts to change how I look. At 6’2” 190lbs with a 37” midsection I am not in bad shape I am just not in great shape. I turn 50 March 21, and in 16 weeks I want to add additional muscle to my legs chest and back, and really improve my muscle definition. Trying to shake that last bit of belly fat that keeps the abs from showing. If I can add 10-15 lbs of muscle and drop the last of the belly fat I will be in fighting shape to take on the next half century.

  64. I am an active duty member of the military. I was in Korea and making excellent progress with my training ( dropped about 30lbs) and was lifting daily. Towards the end of my time there I sustained a pretty nasty leg injury ( not service related). Almost 9 months later now it’s full healed but the set backs have been huge. I have gained around 15 lbs of fat and lost progress in every aspect of my strength and endurance. I am currently around 20 percent body fat. My 16 week goal is to drop a serious percent of body fat (5-8%). I need a serious jump start program to get myself back on the proper track. My motivation is simple my personal goals and my career depend on being physically fit.

I’ve worked out but I am a small guy and can eat anything and not gain a pound. I just had chest surgery as part of the next phase of my goals. I want to gain wieght and have muscle mass. I’ve bought ur plans before but couldn’t stay motivated due to my limitations at the time of being trans. I have the will power to do anything I want an I know I can achieve the body of my dreams with ur help. I’m a captain at a police dept so I never give up. Vince,

My personal fitness goals are pretty intense and specific. I will have carved out abdominals, a rounded out backside, and a great attitude to go with it! I’m at 20.9% body fat, and 127 lbs. now. That’s good. I will be less than 18% body fat, and around 118 lbs. within 2 months from today. That’s the 20th of May. With your help I know I can beat, if not exceed this goal!

    Thanks,

  72. I used to be a long-distance runner just like Vince Delmonte, until a tragic car accident ended my running career suddenly. I broke 3 bones from the accident, had two surgeries and recently have developed a stress-fracture on the front of my right tibia which will not heal without a titanium rod surgically put in my right leg.

I have found a new passion in lifting and am more determined than ever to attain a physique that exemplifies all the hard work I put forth every day at the gym at 5am. I push myself as hard as I possibly can, but I am a firm believer in training partners/coaches and how much further individuals can be pushed with these “life-coaches.” In June, 2014 I will be competing in my very first bodybuilding competition, the Flex Lewis Classic. I am just 15 weeks away from stepping foot on stage and know that if I had an extra motivator/one-on-one coach I could reach even greater heights.

I am currently a Junior at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio pursuing a degree in Exercise Science. My goals for the future are to become a nutritionist and strength and conditioning coach at the Australian Institute of Sport. I want to use any of my successes from here on out to lift other people up and help them to be the best that they can be, for I deem this to be my duty and path that God set forth for me specifically.

Thank you Vince for this opportunity.

    Keep training hard,

    Micah

  73. Hey Vince,

here’s my story. Recently turned 30 and finally finished my masters (health sciences) this week. Have been extremely busy with it and next to working full-time as a radiographer there just was no time to commit 100% to your H-max program I bought last June. So due to lack of physical exercise I now have a body fat percentage of over 25%. Next to this I suffer from alopecia areata barbae since august 2013 and the bold spots in my beard are still progressing unfortunately.

So my goals with the 16 week program would be:

    - get my body fat % down as much as possible during those 16 weeks, just in time for summer and afterwards continue with your H-max program.

    - second, the nutrition knowledge of you and Ryan might help me get rid of the alopecia areata barbae, since some of the causes of it might be iron deficiency and other insufficient micro nutrients.

    Thanks for this opportunity!

    Greetings from the Netherlands,

    Dave

I am married and have 6 children (5 still at home) who are all counting on me. I want help learning how to take my life back and make lasting positive changes. 79. Hej Vince,
Early on in my quest for a better body and physique I stumbled over your programs and traning philosophy on the internet. I liked your attitude and programs and jumped on board. Over the last 5 year I have lost over 60lbs of fat and added approx 20-25lbs of muscle. I have done your NNMB, 1000 rep, MYM and lastly your (& Bpac’s) HMAX and a number of specialized programs. I am really happy about my results, but I feel oneonone coaching could get me the last stretch to: <10% bodyfat, +10-20lbs of muscle, and a strategy for life. Hope to win the draw!

  85. My goal is to win the NGA natural bodybuilding show that I am signed up for in August. Last year was my first year as a natural bodybuilding competitor and I met a lot of goals. I started this journey weighing 230 pounds and being extremely overweight at 230 lbs and was so excited that for my last show i was alp the way down to a good weight of 160lbs. My goal from here is obvious… To slowly work my way up the weight chart and and solid lean mass to my frame. My ultimate goal is to be one of the most famous drug free bodybuilders in the world and I just need the help to get me there. With my drive and determination I know there is no doubt I will one day work my way there but seek this type of one on one that I would not otherwise receive. I followed BPaks MI40 routine this past offseason very closely and have made some serious gains to my physique and know this is my year to capitalize and really make my mark on the show circuit. I hope that you would give me some consideration. I can guarantee that I will out work any person on the face of this planet if given the opportunity. Thank you

  86. Hi Vince,

Well, I think I qualify for the one on one coaching because $1600 is about the equivalent to what I have spent with you and your friends over the year!

I’ve followed you for many many years, back when you were a young gun and single. It’s been very interesting to watch you develop into the well rounded character you are today, happily married to Flav and a caring dad.
I too have followed that journey and keeping myself healthy in body and mind has been in part down to the various programs I have followed from you and your friends. I bought your first NNMB program back in the day and now subscribe to Live Large….wow, how times flies!

You introduced me to so many different resources over the years that I have used at different times in my training (and when injured); guys like Joel Marion, Dave Rual, Craig Ballantyne, Kris Fondran, Big Ben and many more. So thanks for guiding me through the minefield of “Chancers” and “Rip Off Merchants” peddling their wares in the online coaching world.

So why should I qualify? Well at 46, married with young twins, part of me thinks my chances of the dream body I have had since my youth have passed me by, although I fight that feeling every morning when I hit the gym at 6am! As an older dad you worry if my kids will notice as they grow up compared to their friends dads and that is my big motivation to stay as fit, health and BUFF as possible and guidance from you and Ryan would ensure that happened.

Also, where is the fun for you and Ryan in transforming a 20 or 30 year old, that would be too easy, but a 46 year old…..that would be a REAL challenge……are you sure you’re up for it.

This is a great prize and I am sure whoever you pick will be a worthy winner.

All the best for the future Vince.

  98. Hey Vince!

I work at least 50 hours a week at 2 different jobs and no car. Getting to the gym by bus is the only way for me to make it. However, I have been trying to save as much money as I can right now to buy one. I work both jobs together about 4 days a week, and either one or the other the other 2 days. Buses don’t run on Sundays. Most days, I start at 4 am when I get up to go to work by 530 am, so I have enough time to eat in the mornings and get ready. I work anywhere between 12-14 hours on these days and rarely have time to eat, other than on my break. The only time I have in between jobs is my walk in between jobs (typically 15 min). It’s not looking good right now considering the fact that my coworkers are commenting on my weight loss. I’m skinny enough as it is. I lost about 8 lbs since December. Some of my coworkers are concerned, and so am I. I can’t store my meal prep at work, so I can only store them at home. I usually don’t get home till 9 pm. However, obviously I need sleep. I’m so tired when I get home, I just crash. I’m irritable, groggy, and have little energy. I usually get straight up black coffee before my afternoon shift because I need the energy. My performance has slowed down in recent months and I need some kind of coaching to get me back to where I was, and hopefully better than I was. You are a great expert and I admire your work and the commitment you posses with helping guys like us out in our moments where we just feel helpless. I like to remain positive in hopes that this rut will end very soon. Thank you.

    • Hey John I can’t personally say I know how you feel, when you say you are a big slob, cause I’m not one but I’ve been working out for the past 3-5 months and have seen little to none results from pumping iron. But I know as we keep our heads held high as we go to the gym the we will one day see a big change, so good luck.

  102. My long-term goal is to make it into the fitness industry as a lifetime natural.
I’ve been cutting last 2 months and i’m down to 6% body-fat. I’m soon going to start on a caloric surplus with a goal in gaining more lean mass. My weak-point are my arms which is my number one priority. I would love to get coaching from the most intelligent guy in the fitness industry to help me achieve my long-term dream.

I’ve started on my 2 year transformation video, this is a small piece of it.

  104. In the next 16 weeks, I want to prove everyone wrong. Even myself. I’ve been slim my entire life. People have always thought I was lucky to be so small, but I’m ready to go further with my training. I’ve tried countless workout programs, but I’ve always had one problem; sticking with them. I have yet to find a program that gets solid results for MY body. I stumbled across your program on a bodybuilding site. This program is exactly what I’m looking for, however being a college student it is difficult to afford. This program would change my life forever. I know I would see incredible results and I would be so grateful. I want people to know I can achieve anything I set my mind to. This program would give me that push to want to work until I was the best. I want people to look at me in 16 weeks and say “Wow! That’s the same guy?” I’m ready to change my life and transform my body in ways even I never imagined. It all starts with your program.

  106. My goal is to add 10 lbs of lean muscle over the next 4 months, i feel that is attainable.I am 5′ 9″ and weigh 165 lbs.I am a 52 year old male.I am also a chef, i understand the importance of proper nutrition.I have been working out consistantly for the last 3 years, hit a speed bump 2 years back having major surgery on my right arm. I had cubital tunnel surgery,358 stitches later i have made a complete recovery. I went from a claw as my right hand to full use of that said hand. I especially need help in my legs, former high school and college track and cross country athlete, def. a hard gainer, but also a fighter. Surgery, age, plateaus, etc. are not going to stop me from reaching my ultimate goal of competing on stage as a fitness model. I hate hearing I CANT, was told that my whole life, from running to becoming a chef, hate those words. Currently have a plateful,i work 55-60 hours a week, i go to gym 5 times per week, currently enrolled in online personal trainer certification thru AFAA.I am not afraid of hard work, i am however struggling recently to gain weight and add additional size.I feel as though i have hit a wall, my strentgth is pretty solid, my size is respectable.I am missing something, not sure what, supplements, food intake, food timing, wrong workouts routines, not sure. What i am sure of is i am willing and able, give me the knowledge of 2 coaches and 16 weeks and i will make you proud as well as myself proud. Give this 52 year old man a shot at getting up on that stage and doing his coaches proud.Take me to the next level, i have it in me… chef jeff

Unfortunately I let myself go again, and I’m almost back to the weight I used to bed Since my son was born I have not had any energy or have had the will to go back to the gym. If I win this 16 week coaching from Vince, it’ll definitely give me my motivation back. I have always been committed but being a new dad is a challenge and I’m sure Vince knows a little bit about that. The amount of weight I have gained is unacceptable and I wish to lose it all and go back to the shape I used to be.

I’m currently 230lbs and somewheres between 17/22% I figure. I want to blow my future wife away when we get married in Vegas in October this year along with proving the nay-Sayers wrong that tell me I’m built this way and I’m not built to have abs. I stuck with the diet on the stage shredded video for 105 days (stopped over Christmas break) so I KNOW I have the will power to do anythin n everything I’m told. Help this fat guy get ripped!!

To start off this is a wonderful opportunity for someone like me. My 16 week goal would be to be stage ready for my first physique or bodybuilding competition and be able to continue to get a pro card. With the foundation I have built and the desire I have. With your help that will all be very possible. I’m currently around 12% body fat weighing in roughly around 195-200lbs at 5’8″. My 2RM bench 3 months ago was 435 on a smith with no bouncing off the chest just smooth reps. my last 1RM was 400lbs when I had a spotter available my 1RM dead was 500lbs, since not having a spotter I go up to 350lbs working set on squats. My ultimate goal is to be BPacks twin. With your guys help I know my possibilities would be endless as well as my goals.

  121. Hi guys! Thank you all so much for offering this opportunity! I am sure a lot of people deserve this opportunity but let me share the reason why believe I deserve the 16-week coaching. For the last 5 years or so I have been in a whirlwind of misinformation and guidance regarding my own personal fitness goals. I have done countless hours of research, cookie-cutter programs and quick Band-Aids to a problem I know there is a solution to I just haven’t found it yet! I know that with the right leadership and guidance I could be the athlete I desire to be! Fortunately, I am very disciplined and am able to stick to the plan, even the plans that haven’t been helpful! I give 110% and I am grateful for that strength.

My goal is to COMPLETELY change professions and take what I have learned in my career in the military and law enforcement and apply it to the fitness and nutrition industry. For 29 years I had my mind set on being in law enforcement and in the last year I started to gain so much more vision for my life and now I am dreaming so much bigger! Currently I am getting my personal training certification and will be enrolling in a B.S. degree in Sports Nutrition. It’s really scary to change professions but I think when something is put on your heart you have to follow it through to the max!!! My true passion is to open up a “Health and Wellness” business with my wife. We love to give back and both of us are focused on helping people reach their goals and make them feel great about themselves. I heard Vince say in one of his episodes that “your success in this industry relies on how you can make people feel” and honestly, that concept was an extreme eye opener. I want to be able to do for others what nobody has been able to do for me!

My true focus and goal is to get myself to a point where I can talk with confidence and lead by example. I want to show myself and others that what I believe in is REAL and tangible for anyone if they just set their mind and heart to it! I want to be a leader of change. I know your program would help me tremendously to reach my goals because I have already seen a change in my body and attitude from following Live Large TV. I have wanted to compete in a body building competition for 4 years now and my goal this year is to make it happen and compete in my first physique competition in Irving, Texas this September. My current focus is contest preparation through trial and error; this is where your expertise would take me to the next level! I am 29 years old, 19% bf, and weigh 224.

Thank you so much guys for being an inspiration to my wife and I. I am trying to “Live Large” and be the best version of myself and I think this program would propel me to reach my goals and help a lot more people!

  124. Hey, Vince

I’m Byron and I’m 26 and I remember joining a gym for the first time in my life, I was 19 years old back then and I have to say that the way I look at things and my percepcion of life changed radically. As the years went by I didn’t know anything about nutrition, macros, micros or workout splits, tempo, I would only do what this big meathead trainer would make me and just when I found your page and videos I realized how deep the whole fitness world is. I love this fitness more than I love my job and I would do anything to reach my goals.the biggest thing Ive learnt is to be the best version of oneself and to reach your goal that’s why I thank you. My goal is to be bigger than I am right now, I’m 176lbs now, but I want to go to 186 and then cut the extra fat off. I wantto improve my strength and size. I’m 5´7 and I’m over 10%bf. My goal is to keep this bf or lower after reaching 186lbs and then cut. I was 145 pounds when I first started lifting and has taken me almost 7 years to get to where I am now and just the biggest improvement I’ve seen is because of your youtube tips and fanpage posts just over the last two years. thanks to 8-8-16 6-12-25 and the 7×7 workout that’s why I want to keep making gains. this is what i love. I truly believe the 1 on 1 16 week of couching will help me reach this goal.

    cheers

  125. Hey Vince and everyone!
This is reasonably short and fairly sweet! About fifteen months ago, I grew tired of subtle comments like “you’re getting chubby” or “you look like you like your food!” I wasn’t obese by any means, but I was certainly over 20% Body fat and knew I wasn’t anywhere near being in ‘great shape’ I was also experiencing a fair few symptoms of the onset of Diabetes too. Fast forward eight months later and I had lost eight inches off my waistline and was 8% body fat with a pretty decent looking six pack………..decent enough to impress the few people that saw it anyway! Haha. It was all achieved probably by just thinking that “more is more” and applying that mentality did get me good results, but in hindsight, I now know it was far from optimal. Anyway, since then I’ve had an array of comments such as “Haven’t you lost weight?!” and “My god, you look different!” I now feel it’s time to explore the next part of a transformation journey and that part for me is the art of gaining some good muscle. I know in order to see success, you need consistency, management, patience, an open mind and dedication. So if I were fortunate enough to win this amazing opportunity, I would be vastly honoured! P.S. Sorry this wasn’t as ‘short and sweet’ as I intended! I got carried away ;) My goal simply is………5 lbs of fat free muscle 16 weeks from now. A nice attainable goal that I believe is every bit achievable :)

    Regards James.

  126. I’ve been powerlifting for about 6 years but plateaued in my strength gains – I just can’t seem to put on any more muscle without getting fatter. I’m 6’4″ and 245 at about 20% BF. I used to be tall and super skinny, now I’m tall and big, but too fat. At 40 years old, I struggle to put on more muscle and I have yo-yoed for the last 3 years. I need some help!!! I started looking into bodybuilding to learn how to better manage my body composition. I just had a great time doing MI-40, but I just don’t think my gains are going to be good until I can get down to 15% BF or so and stay there. Drug free.

  127. Hey Coach Vince and Ryan! I’ve been hitting the gym since I was a freshman in college. I have seen major improvements, but I feel like I have hit my plateau. I have dropped to about 10-12% body fat and have increased my strength 10 fold, but the problem i’m having now is putting on a little bit more size and filling out the clothes I wear. I just recently was able to Bench 250 for my 1RM, and I am so happy with that since I struggle with arthritis, depression and hypersensitivity everyday and i’m only 20 y/o.

My goals if i was selected would be to try and get my bench up to 300 if possible, put on an extra 10-20 pounds of solid muscle and fill out my shirts lol, have abs that pop out of my skin and drop my body fat % to under 8. I have never wanted anything more than this and would give my all for this program just so I achieve the goals I stated above. I’ve watched multiple videos on you-tube of your instructional videos and have found them very very helpful and definitely work my muscles much much more. Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you!!

  128. Hey Vince,

My goal over the next 16 weeks, is to get into the best shape of my life, as I am going back into the military. When I went in the first time, as an 18 year old kid, my youth and hormones, kept my body going and helped me develop my body quite well. This time, being 31 without the help of hormones will be a different challenge all together.

So, here’s the bare bones of the situation. I’m 31, 6’1″, 185 lbs, with 10-12% body fat. I’d like to be able to gain 5-10 lbs of lean mass, while improving my V02 max at the same time; as I will be attending the Army’s Officer Canidate School program, followed (hopefully) by Ranger School. I would be using this instruction, to ensure I reach my pinnacle fitness level, which would help prevent major injuries during extreme periods of training, and would help me achieve my life long fitness goals / career goals at the same time.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

  131. 3 Months ago it took me up to 45 minutes to get out of bed, and 2 to 4 hours to be able to stand up strait. Now with the help of my Doctor and other medical professionals. I am able to move properly again, get out of bed and start a strength training program. I am looking to gain as much lean muscle as possible but more important is the strength, my back still hurts a little but not enough to stop me from hitting the Gym. My doctor has given me the go for it, but I can not lift really heavy, my max lift will have to be 30 Lbs. an arm. Of course I will have to work up to that, it has been 2 years since I have been in the Gym. But lately I have been in and starting to build up again. I am eating right and working it hard, need to get back what I lost and make quality of life better for me and my family. I have watched all your youtube videos and read lots of e-books of yours, and listened to reports you have done. I hope you pick a person who need this, I just wanted to say thank you for all the info and help you have given me. I hope this contest will allow you to help someone else who needs it. Keep up the good work! KR

  132. Vince, it’s pretty cool that you’re offering on opportunity like this. Keep living the Dream!

    My goal is two folded.

The main reason is that I would like to use my transformation as a message for hope. My life purpose is to educate, uplift, and inspire. I would like to leverage my transformation as evidence to the fact that you can have your every desire if you simply set a goal with concrete action steps and consistently follow those steps…tweaking when necessary. My personal brand message is “We Are More Than Me.” This opportunity falls in alignment with that as well because part of becoming educated is asking for help when you need it. The story I wish to tell is to not let fear get in the way of your desires. If you have a goal, go for it! We are all in this world to live our best story and the way to make the largest contribution to “us” is to become the best version of “you.” I believe in the community your building and I believe in your products. I wish to learn from you and apply what I’ve learned as an example for others.

My personal goal is to become as muscular and lean as possible. One of my bucket list items is to do a photo shoot. I’m 47 years old, in pretty good shape, I just need some fine tuning. I have never had knowledge in this particular area so I’m asking for help from you guys. I’m an experienced lifter but have never competed (body building) and have no desire to–I just want to look like it:-) Ideally I’d like to put on about 2-5lbs of lean body mass and get my body fat to somewhere around 3-5%. I want to be fit as an example for others and as an example for my 9 year old son that you’re NEVER too old to work toward your goals. But you have to have them first!

    Appreciate the opportunity!!

  133. I am an athlete. I have been since I participated in Field Day 50 yd dash and standing broad jump in 2nd & 3rd grade. I did gymnastics for 13 1/2 years. I ran track – age group up to and including AAU Nationals. I continued in the Air Force and competed and won Armed Forces 100M Hurdles. I also competed with a German track club while stationed overseas. I changed to powerlifting (after the birth of both my boys). I won Armed Forces Europe 3 yrs straight. I won USAPL Nationals and competed in Worlds as well. I placed 3rd in my weight class in deadlift (440lbs).I love the weight room….the no frills type weight room. In 2005 my son and I were in a head-on collision with a drunk driver. I was paralyzed on my left side, but have since regained a lot of the feeling/movement. My next goal was to get on stage, but my health issues kept sidelining me. Gall bladder, fibroids, knee scoping. I am now trying to rectify a sciatic nerve issue that has been plaguing me since 2008! I still want to get on stage….I have the knowledge, but I don’t know how to put it together for a competition of that type. I want to ‘scrape’ about 60 lbs and get skin so thin it looks like you could peel it off. Having you two put a plan in place and help me would be life changing! Any consideration would be most appreciated!

  134. Hey Vince, my goal in 16 weeks is to drop body weight fat and if possible put on muscle mass. I’ve never had the correct guidence or someone there keeping track and motivating me to stay on task, I always had to do everything myself like change my diet and exercise routine. I’ve played American football in high school and that when I started dropping loosing a lot of weight because of the hard conditioning, but now I am no longer playing a sport and I haven’t been able to drop more fat. I strongly believe that your 16 week 1 on 1 coaching program will benifit me a lot not only in stripping fat but in overall health. I currently weigh 230lb at 5ft, 8in, I’ve been watching your YouTube video for more than 2 years and I have found them to be very benificial, I can’t even imagin how a 1 on 1 coaching would change my life. Thanks for your time Vince and if I win I promise to do all I can

My 16 week goal is first of all to increase my muscle mass. Hey, who doesn’t, right? ;) My goal is also to get to know my body even more by trying something different than what I’m used to – in regards to training, programming and perhaps a different approach to nutrition. I want to learn from the best and add whatever they are doing to my own library of knowledge so that I can continue to better myself. Both inside and outside the gym.
In the next 16 weeks I want to PROVE to MYSELF that I have what it takes to be great.

  136. Hey Vince,

First I want to say awesome giveaway! Holy smokes! Not one coach but two coaches! That is crazy, and very generous of you. (considering you paid Ryan to be your coach and now you are offering one of your readers the chance to work with BOTH of you FOR FREE!!!) I want to say thank-you for the opportunity you are giving all your readers and good luck to everyone on reaching their health and fitness goals in the next 16 weeks!

My 16 week goal is to lose 32-51lbs and 16% body fat. (which is about 2-3lbs per week and 1% body fat per week while improving my strength and perfecting my technique and form in the gym.) In about 16 weeks it is going to be my 23rd birthday! So I have some extra motivation!
I am going to print off my goal and sign it (like you suggested) and give it to a friend to keep me accountable while setting an incentive if I fail to follow through… (not sure what as of yet!)

I could really use a coach on my fitness and nutrition goals. (While watching live large I am like WOW. I have SO MUCH to learn. I love your shows btw) I have a lot of weight to lose; currently I am cutting my calories (about 1200-1400 per day), tapering my carb level, lifting weights 5 days per week and trying to do cardio 6 times per week… I don’t know how this will work on my body but I seriously want to lose weight. Currently 186 and would like to get down to 135.

Anyway, thanks for reading this and possibly getting the chance to work with you!

    Amanda Tarr

p.s I can’t wait to learn more from you through Live Large! Tell Flavia, Milia and Luch hi! (Hopefully Milia doesn’t shop too much with your wallet or you wouldn’t be able to give this stuff away (I saw a photo on Facebook. lol)

  137. I am a huge fan of both you (Vince) and Coach Ryan as well as BPak. I consider the 3 of you leaders in the field and follow each of you. I have been taking your combined knowledge and trying to implement it into a well-rounded program that works for me. I have made considerable gains in the last 3 months but am nowhere near my goals. In a 16 week 1-1 coaching my goals would as follows:

    - To soak up as much information as I can from both of you. I am a lifelong learner and I want to learn from the best and from those who enjoy, respect and understand the research process.

-To add muscle and cut the fat. I am 29.1% body fat right now and I want to be 15%.

-To have a 6-pack that will be visible 365 days a year.

-To have insanely defined shoulders and arms.

-To be fearless and live life large.

My goals are lofty for 16 weeks but I am determined not to give up until I reach them even if it kills me. My ultimately goal is to become a personal trainer and life coach but right now I am working on me so I can offer the best to my clients. I want to learn as much as I can and push myself out of my comfort zone and I know you two can do that for me. I really want this and would be an answered prayer as I have been feeling like I need a coach. Bonus is I am off work for the summer come May so I have 100% time and attention to give to my goals.

    Optimistic in Ohio,
    Karen

  140. In the next 16 weeks i would love to first of all get educated because with a coach my main goal is to learn because the more you learn the better you achive your goals. I would love in the next 16 weeks to become leaner and more vascular look more conditioned since summer is cooming i am 150 pounds 10 percent fat so actually i am flexible to do as the coach wishes but the programming for coaching would be important but more so the opportunity to ask questions and get answers and be guided towards whats working or whats not working be able to have a coach push me when im feeling dismotivated and also tell me when to wind back, i would love to work towards a better me and a smarter me i believe that in a 16 week coaching i could change not only my physique but my lifestyle if i would win these 16 weeks i would give my all to make it worth while to you and to take before and after pics to testify the results hope i am chosen i would post a picture of my current look and say if i dont have a 6 pack by the end of the 16 weeks will shave my head and eye brows that will make me work hard lol not a fun thing to lose that

As a father, husband, and 2 jobs the time I put into something must be short and sweet.

My goals for the 16 week program woulb be to gain at least 10 lb muscle, and lower my current BF level from 15% to 10% or less. I am sure those are achievble with apropiate coaching, which I am sure Vince and Ryan will provide.

Hope to hear from you guys!

I have been following your maximize your Muscle program for 4 months and have seen gains so I am very pleased with the results. Your emails have proven to be very helpful in attaining goals that I never thought possible at my age of 53. Many thanks to you for your help, Vince but I want to take it further. My main goal is to lose 3 inches off my waist and gain 2 more inches of muscle on my chest and arms. Nothing too much but a goal I know that I can reach in 16 weeks. You have proven to me that your program works and I am willing to take it to the next level with your help and guidance. Thanks again, Brian

  146. I’m 21 years old and I am an extremely motivated person, especially in the gym. I am 5’10 and 164lbs at roughly 13% body fat (abs just visible). I have been making consistent gains in the gym for 4 years now and would really love to take my results to the next level by trying something tailored for me. My 16 week goal which I accept as a HUGE challenge but think is 100% possible with the right gym and diet plan is to gain 1 pound of lean muscle a week for the 16 weeks. i.e. after 16 weeks I wanna be 180lbs at basically the same body fat percentage. Thanks Vince and Ryan you guys ROCK!!!

  147. Over the next 4-5 months I am hoping to bulk up and add roughly 20 lbs of lean body weight. I’m your pro-typical hard gainer; although I ate between 3000 and 3500 calories per day last summer – while following a muscle building exercise program – I was only able to gain 2-3lbs over a 4 month period. My understanding of the factors that affect muscle building have definitely improved since then, but I would definitely appreciate some additional help in making the rather large jump from 155 lbs to about 175-180 lbs.

  149. I’ve been working out with weights for a couple of years and recently built myself a power rack so that I can safely increase my weights while I work out alone.

I’m a female who is barely 5′ and weighs 102-103 lbs. I love setting goals with deadlines and achieving them.
Some personal records so far are: 100 full pushups (NOT knee pushups), 55lb overhead press for 3 reps, Deadlift 140lbs.

I’ve compiled a binder of exercise charts with dates, reps+sets, time it took to complete etc. Each workout I find some way to do better than the last one, whether it’s to decrease the overall time to complete (less rest), heavier weights or more reps. I’m currently working through doing some POF training and finding it’s working well.

Although I am already fairly lean, I’d like to reduce my thighs 3/4″ to 1″. Some overall body fat loss would be nice, but too much though. I’d like to increase the muscle mass of my shoulders, delts (front and back), biceps, and triceps.
I’ve been stuck at around the same measurements for a while and would like to find a way of busting through and making good progress.
Although I want to increase muscle mass, I don’t want to gain body fat. Overall weight is fine (muscle is much denser than fat.)

My diet is excellent, and it drives some people nuts. :P But it pays off. People say to me they can tell that I workout.

I work-out 6 days a week (always taking a full day rest for the 7th), and sometimes I take pilates class in addition to my morning workouts. My workouts are minimum 45 minutes, but usually 1 hr. I do have some 1/2hr workouts to use on the occasion when time is really short.

For cardio, I lift weights faster. ;) jk. I sometimes do cardio intervals (in a fasted state) for 20 minutes 1st thing in the morning with my dog.

I have a list of goals (which I’m actually working through and going to be breaking down into mini goals with dates). Some of them (for a 1 rep max) are: Bench 95lbs (current is 65 lbs x 3 reps after doing several lighter sets), Squat: 105 lbs, 20 single-hand pushups, Barbell curl: 60lbs and overhead press 80lbs.

I set my alarm early so that I can fit my workouts in and give them my best. 1st thing in the morning after tending to the chickens and my dogs, it’s WORKOUT TIME!! Followed up with a good re-fueling.

I’d love some help in starting to make good muscle gains again and loosing a bit of the thigh fat.

  150. My name Is Aaron, and I am 16 years old. My 16 week goal is to be 175 lbs at roughly 12% body fat. I’ve wrestled for the past two years, and I was screwed over both years. The first year I weighed 143 lbs at 17% body fat, and I wrestled 160. this past year, I was 155 lbs at 14% body fat wrestling 170. Now I am at 160 lbs at around 13% body fat. I want to be in a weight class where I can wrestle at my natural weight. My ultimate 6 month goal is to be at 190 lbs at 8% body fat so I can compete in the fox cities showdown in Wisconsin for 2015. Even though I was screwed in wrestling, I stuck to it. I am not a quitter. I follow through on everything I do. I have the responsibility of holding a restaurant job that I’ve had since I was 12. I hope you take this into consideration, and thank you for your time for reading this.

Hey Guys.My goal for the next 16 weeks is to train hard and acheive my goals. The goals I’m talking about are eating properly, learning the in’s and out’s of proper nutrition. As well as what’s good and bad about weight lifting.I’ve reached this weight of 215 and can’t seem to break it.I have no problem going up in weight and it’s frustrating.I need to drop another 20-30 pounds, drop into the single digit fat percentage column.I’m looking for that 6 pack that I’ve seen, heard of and wanted all my life.I’m active, sports, gym and evening walks with the family.Just that extra push, knowledge and know how of it all will help out alot.
Thanks for offering this special 1 on 1 coaching program.Take care.

  152. It’s discouraging to read all these comments of people who have purchased and used your products/advice (including myself), and achieved so little from them. Don’t get me wrong, I loved hypertrophy max and the 8-8-16 h.g.w. I even had some mediocre results, after pouring blood sweat and tears all over the gym floor. But when the smoke cleared, I ended up as just a single dad whose wallet was $1200.00 lighter with still no real noticeable results. I want what most guys want, to be gorilla huge without the roids and stubborn bellyfat. Unrealistic? If u asked me a year ago, I would have said nothing’s impossible. But the mirror doesn’t lie my friends. And it becomes harder to trust those who I put so much faith in to help me achieve my goal. (Which in the beginning sounded simple: turn 210lbs.@ 16% bodyfat into 210lbs. @ 8% bodyfat). It also doesn’t help to hear those programs, I paid such hard earned money for, are “templates” not tailored to my needs. So this is my challenge to u Vince. Put UR money where UR mouth is and c if we cant help me reach that goal by summer. Make mea believer again. Urs truly,

  153. My 16 week goal is to be 190 lb at 15% BF
    I am currently 178 at 15%.
To accomplish this goal I will need to gain .75lb per week or 3lbs per month. I will have to consume my body weight x 16-20 in calories a day. I will need to eat 270 grams of protein per day. I am realistic and know that I will only achieve this goal with a detailed plan and deadline. I have given $500 to my brother to give to the political party that I really don’t like. I will not let my money go to that party.

  154. My goals are multifaceted at this time of my life. I would like to lose the weight and regain some of the strength that I acquired after the cancer and suffering the stroke from the cancer treatment. My goal is to weigh in at 165 to 170 – which now I am 225. I had put on about 45 pounds that I find hard to shed due to some strength, mobility and balance issues as well as acceptance of this new “lifestyle.” While I have far surpassed what the VA doctors said I would, it is still not where I want to be. but motivation lags at times and the lack of a support system hinder my progress. I need a coach, a mentor that will guide me through the rough spots; show me the correct way to achieve my goals at my age; assist me in my nutrition and also to validate my goals are realistic and obtainable. I look forward to hearing from you.

  155. My goal is too begin sculpting my frame, seeing some striations, increase mobility/flexibility, and building functional strength. Honestly, I just want to be HEALTHY and LOOK GOOD. I’ve always been a “slim/skinny” guy. I was about 188 July of last year. Out of the blue, I lost my job and with my new-found down time, I started back lifting (which I hadn’t done since college football days). With that as my natural stress reliever, I bulked up to 215. However, I was “dirty” bulking…eating ANYTHING just to get my calories. So while I was as big and strong, I wasn’t fit. Being fit and functional is most important to me. I’ve taken up boxing to feed my competitive hunger, so now I want to be ready for that. But summer time is coming and I need to look great shirtless!!! Whether I get the coaching or not…I feel good writing this out, so thanks either way. Let’s get it…

  156. Hi Vince and Ryan

I am a professional martial arts instructor and athlete and I compete at World Level competitions in Power Breaking of Wood and Concrete. I am one of the lightest guys in my division. I am currently sitting at 145lbs and the division goes up to 199lbs. My goal is to put on around 10 pounds of lean muscle before my next competition on July 11th and 12th of this year in Orlando Florida. I believe the additional weight will help my performance greatly. I have used the No Nonsense Muscle Building and Hypertrophy Max before as well.

My goal is to bring back more world championships to Cobourg Ontario Canada. About a hour East of Toronto.

Too many people give up as they get older and fall into bad habits. I am a fellow Canadian who lives in Nova Scotia and within the next few years it is predicted that over 50% of people who live here (who are predominantly older) will be obese.

I am a single parent and a graduate of your Hypertrophy Max program. You and Ben have been a big inspiration to me. After I separated from my wife I was very withdrawn and just hanging on but your program was my lifeline every month. I never missed a workout and it became an anchor that I relied upon to get back my confidence and my physique. Any time I would get down, an e-mail from you or an episode from Live Large TV would pick me up. You have a real talent for making people believe.

I would like to document my efforts to become a Fitness Pro and have been considering approaching someone about the possibility of doing a documentary. For the reasons I have noted above I think that with the proper framing it would be something that would be interesting, timely and motivational especially given our aging populations here in Canada and in the US.

To become a competitive Fitness Pro I need you and Ryan to help me put on another 10 to 15 more pounds of muscle and maintain my current body fat levels which consistently run in the 8% to 9% range. Right now I am 185 pounds day in and day out with a somewhat faint but visible six pack. I think that if I could get to a shredded 195 that at 6′ 2″ I would look pretty good up on stage or anywhere else for that matter.

When I competed last year, I was 170 pounds on stage and 5% body fat. I had good definition but I looked a bit depleted. I won the Masters category but did not do well relative to the younger guys. I have continued to improve over the past 6 or 7 months and would probably come in at 180 with the same mass and definition so I know I have gained some muscle but I think I am still 10 to 15 pound of muscle away from looking truly impressive. I look impressive for my age but would like to get to what I think of as the Rob Riches level. I know that with two incredible coaches helping me that I can achieve incredible things.

I realize at 50 I am battling the odds but I really want to knock down all of the walls that society has built up around getting older. Who says we can’t be like a fine wine and get even better with age? I know you and Ryan would not want me to give up and to keep thinking big and living large so I would love to work with you guys. As part of the process, I would be up to come to Hamilton and work with you in person a couple of times over the 16 week period if you think this would be helpful.

Thanks for reading this. It would be great to work with you and Ryan to show the 40/50+ crowd that you can still become the badass you were always meant to be.

    Warm Regards,

    Ken

  158. I tell you honest Vince and Ryan it would be a dream come true to train with you guys for 16 weeks. Specially when I saw Vince his last foto, man you got BIG!!! I love livelargetv , it helped me a lot!

Now my goal: I want to gain 5kg of lean muscle, I don’t know if thats possible in 16 weeks. I want to gain 5 kg because I still feel skinny and it is really hard for me to gain weight. I really eat a lot and train, but somehow my weight is not increasing. Must be doing something wrong then, or it is just not possible. Anyway guys keep up the good work!

    Take care

Now that i am leaner the goal for the next 16 weeks is to pop out those muscles that have grown fuller. That will make me look like i work out where as it is now that i am only getting leaner.

  160. I am a 40 year old mother of three, who for the most part stayed pretty fit and healthy. The past 3-4 years I had let myself go and gained over 35 lbs and could definitely feel it. I was determined to do something about it, so I did. My short-term goal has already been obtained. I went with the Bodylicious nutrition and exercise program and lost the 35 lbs I was looking to lose! Now, I am working on my long-term goal, which is to gain muscle, get my body fat to at least 8-10%, and maybe even work on fitness modeling. Ultimately, my goal is to get into the best physical shape of my life and now is the best time to do it. I am focused and driven and way more disciplined than I have been in the past!

  164. I competed not once but twice. My first at age 49 and a follow up the next year as a Grand Master; both qualified me for the Provincial Championships BUT… I slipped and fell and damaged all the joint compartments in my left hand. This injury really prevented me from lifting for more than two, yes 2, years.

Our daughter, now 11, was my biggest supporter and diet ‘Nazi’. I know she loves me but I am out of shape now and snoring again and not sleeping well and so on.

In 16 Weeks I will be close to competitive weight and sleeping well and having my diet monitor stop asking, “Daddy, is that on your diet?”.

I cannot fail because my life rests on my success. I get back to ‘fighting trim’ and I will be around for her wedding (in many, many years) and my grand baby(s).

There are no more options; I must get better.

Week 1′s goal is to complete week 1.

Week 2? is to keep going and build on the pain and challenge and frustration of week 1.

Week 3′s end should see new old habits in place and the road to success will begin to be paved.

Week 4 should show noticeable results to me, as I am my worst critic.

For the rest of the weeks I will change and grow and shrink and improve and stumble and keep on going because the end result is our daughter will have her daddy for a very long time.

Time is not my friend so I plan on aging badly and fighting until the end.

My starting weight? Don’t care. My finish weight doesn’t matter. It is my health that counts and gaining the tools to reach that end and maintain it for, well, LIFE.

  166. As a young fellow I’ve always wanted to be better…have what I was told I could not have. At age 14 I was over 200lbs and gaining. The guy who built my mothers house was over one night; as I came out of the shower with a towel on…he felt necessary to tell me to put a bra on. since that moment I knew that was not the life I wanted. Now, I weigh 170 and work for the body I want every day, and every night. I hope to soon enroll in PT Certification and hopefully nutrition and kinesiology classes soon as well. Vince, as a fellow hard-working man, a guy who has been at the bottom of the totem pole…I will work for the goals I desire until I reach them. I would like to reach around 190lbs with around 14% or less body fat, for me and my future clients example. In the future (next 4-8 years)I would strive for my own fitness business targeting communities and people that do not have ample tools and space to play, exercise, get fit, lose weight, whatever their goals may be and have the coach there to tailor and guide them on their fitness journey. My mission is to set an example with my self for others, and utilize the information, science and knowledge I have gained to design and/or tailor programs, nutritionally, mentally and physically for clientele. It would always be a work I progress as all continued learning is. My ultimate goal for the future is to help others that are less fortunate or do not have the availability to receive close, 1-1 guidance reach a lifestyle in and out of the gym that will enhance their well being mentally, and physically all around.

  167. Goals:

    Gain shoulder and arm muscle
    Flatten pecs and abs
Learn how to build proper symmetry
Gain 5 pounds of muscle (I’d love 10)
Build legs (have yet to make much progress here)

About a year ago I decided to change my life. I have always been “the skinny fat kid”. What others don’t understand that it hurts just as much or more to be singled out when you see yourself as too skinny. I have finally gained the courage to complete programs from your great affiliates Shawn Phillips (who linked me to you) and Ben Pakulski (crazy smart). I am about to go finish day 7 in your 28 days to massive gains. Working out has really become a part of my life and helped me reclaim mind. I would love to really kick some ass and bulk even more so my confidence grows much like my business has this past year. I am not familiar with Ryan but if he excites Vince Del Monte, I WOULD LOVE to make friends and train with him. With the one on one training I will strive to gain more knowledge about SYMMETRY (my left shoulder is much weaker). I have increased my healthy eating, training, and sleep practices and realize I’ve only touched the surface and there’s much more for me to learn. The knowledge I’ve gained in the past year has opened up many new opportunities and made me realize there is much more I can and will accomplish. I will make my dream life. This personal training Is a way to supercharge my efforts and will cut years off of my journey. I really look up to you Vince. You’ve got the life!

Ps. When you choose me to train I will push myself to the limit! No slacking!

Pps. I may try to squeeze out some of your business skills. You keep me so fascinated!

  171. Hey guys,

First let me say awesome give away, the amount you could learn during this process can’t have a price tag put on it. Very innovative valuable stuff.

My name is Dan and I would love to win this competition. I already am a BioSignature practitioner and I actually met Ryan in Toronto in June 2013, i’ll be going for my level 2 certification this June 2014.

I’ll keep my goal short and sweet for you. To get bigger and leaner. I have already come a long way with my personal experience and knowledge, I started lifting weights when I was only 135lbs (smalllll genetics) and now I am 5’7″ and hover in between 195lbs – 200lbs. Although I have been stuck at this mark for sometime now and I feel some professional coaching can help.

I work as a personal trainer / nutrition specialist for a living out of a commercial gym + I have a gym at my house so 2 a day workouts I would be totally down for, but have never tried because I am not 100% confident in my program structure for that.

Anything you guys gave me I would follow to the T, Nutrition, supplements, training, lifestyle. You name it.

    • In the next 16 weeks, my goal is to create a great environment and feeding patterns to ensure optimal success for the years to come. In saying this, I want to build as much muscle as possible, naturally, and especially build up on my shoulders, chest, lats and arms (in that order or so). At 55.5kg, and 168cm, a guy, I want to build a physique that will hopefully inspire others to get moving and live their lives to the fullest, and have their best body. I know an epic transformation can be done in this time period.

I am struggling to find a good plan after the MI40. What used to be challenge before I dids the MI40 program, now seems to not be working on me as much.

My goal for the next 16 weeks is to put on at least 2 kg of lean mass and improving those major lifts with at least 10 kg except maybe for the bench because i don’t know how my left shoulder will keep up.
Anyway, if you choose me or not, i think you are doing a great job helping others.

Still I am hungry for more and I have promised to be in my all time best condition and shape when retiring next autumn. Not bad for an 65 years young enthusiastic. 186. Hi Vince,
I think what you guys are doing is great. Helping others while improving yourself is what we all should be striving for. I’m a 46 year old teacher/track Coach and father of 3. I’ve had a lot of weight lifting injuries including recently hurting my shoulders and back so badly I really can’t squat at all. I’d like to achieve a more balanced body in strength so I can work out without being injured anymore. My lower back near my sacrum, rotators, hamstrings, front delts, and brachialis all need to improve in strength in the next 16 weeks to do that. At that point, I’d like to get back to my personal best of benching 280-10 and also to be able to do some squatting and deadlifting again. Thanks!

  188. Hey Vince

I’m a 32 year old male with a hectic working life style yet find the time to train at 5.30am 5/6 times a week.
I’m not interested in becoming as big as Ronnie Coleman for example.
    I’m 5 9, 78kg with a body fat 19%.

My goals from this 16week coaching:
After 16 weeks my physique to look proportional
Each body part to be in the best physical condition as possible.
To blast every max rep for each body part.
To be re educated about nutrition in loosing far and gaining lean clean muscle for life! Yes for life!
Ultimately the motivation to keep smashing out those sessions as you won’t be there after 16 weeks!

    Thanks Vince

Thank you Vince for this chance to better ourselves. My goal is to get as lean as possible. I am currently 260lbs and want to get to 220-225 with noticeable vascularity and muscle definition. This is a busy and motivating year for me. I am going to the olympia in Las Vegas this September and I want to look awesome for it but also I am getting married at the end of the year and I want to look like a stud come the big day lol.

    Thank you once again

  191. Here’s a comment from a rare female reader; yes, some of us actually think muscle on the female form is sexy. ;-)

My goals are a group of interrelated health and fitness improvements and optimizations that I believe will help me truly live life instead of constantly feeling sidelined (talk about your “wallflower syndrome”…):

    1 – lose 40 lb. of fat;
    2 – gain 5 – 7 lb. of muscle;
3 – balance hormones through diet, exercise, supplementation, meditation, etc. to achieve goals 1 & 2 and increase my energy, support my immune system function so I’m ill less often, improve my skin texture/complexion and the appearance of hair and nails.

    My main obstacles:
    1 – almost total lack of a social support system;
    2 – multiple food allergies/sensitivities, including most grains, legumes and sugar (which are consequently what I get most addicted to when I don’t avoid them entirely);
    3 – a history of disordered eating, chronic severe depression (which improves drastically when avoiding the above-mentioned food groups), and relying upon food to replace much of the missing social support;
4 – frequent bouts of illness (colds, flu, allergies, fatigue/general malaise) that interfere in my attempts to maintain a diet and exercise regimen.

I’m 36 years old, 5 ft 5 and a very important 1/4 inch tall, and 185 lb at about 31% BF. Once upon a time – and for a very brief time – I was 143 lb at 15%, and that’s roughly what I’d like to be again, with some room for adjustment once I get close and further refine my goals. I feel that there are a great many things in my life that need to be addressed as soon as possible (before I turn 40!!!), and that my heath and fitness are the foundation that need to come before career development, love and relationships, other personal development and travel. I’ve struggled for two decades trying to do this on my own, and have long since realized I could really use some help here. I’ve just not been able to find it, or to maintain any social relationships long enough to keep it if I have found any help. Having my own personal advisory committee and cheering section for four months sounds like a great kickstart to enjoying the rest of my life. — D

  192. Dear Vince, I first got to know you through watching Ben Pakulski’s MI40. I’ve been a subscriber ever since. I am currently stuck at a fork in the road about whether to cut or continue trying to gain muscle. I did a recent body composition test and I am currently sitting at 24.3% body fat with a mass of 20.1 KGs. I would prefer to try and get to 15% or even near 10% but I’ve never been able to. My goal for the next 16 weeks would be the following:

Weeks 1-4: Build both muscle volume and endurance. I’ve been hooked on the principle of CTTS or constant timed tension sets. This principle has been responsible for blasting my muscles to failure in ways I’ve not felt before doing just reps. I will continue to alternate in my workouts during this stage to build strength and stabilizer muscles. I am also attempting to implement a diet plan of 60% protein vs. 40% carbs and trying to keep the carbs nature instead of processed. My goal here is to hit 85KGs in weight. I am currently at 82.5 KGs.

Weeks 4-8: This is where I’d like guidance. I could either attempt to be more stringent in my diet and work on more reps or lighter weight. Also, I could add some cardio to try cutting even more. I would not be opposed to using fat loss supplements such as Garcinia Cambogia. Here is where I would listen with all my focus to Ryan and you on the best strategy to attack the fat. Here my aim is to go from 24.3% to 20% body fat, or lose around 1-2 KGs of fat. So my weight would be around 82-83 KGs

Weeks 8-12: I would like to continue fat cutting to at least 15% which is around another 1-2 KGs of fat. I would again be very intent on focusing my workouts per Ryan and your directions to losing the fat without losing strength. I would imagine my weight would hover around 80-81 KGs.

Weeks 12-16: If I am successful in losing fat during the previous 2 months, I will continue my fat loss goals of reaching 10% body fat which another 1-2KGs of weight so around 79-80 KGs. My ideal weight would be 87-90 KGs of 10% body fat. So at this stage I would try and pick both of your brains a bit on adding muscle while staying lean in the future. Obviously this wouldn’t be easy to try and add 7-10 KGs of muscle after but go big or go home right?

Thanks for reading and I hope I could talk to you guys soon!

  193. Hey Vince,

The one goal for my next 16 weeks of training would be blowing beyond my genetic potential by accomplishing the following:

    1) Being one of the most anatomically and physically educated body builders in the country. I am not only interested in what works, but also strive to understand WHY it works so I can reapply concepts.

    2) Getting down to sub 8 % BF (I am around 15 % today)

    3) Weighing in at around 175 (I am around 190 today)

    4) Setting new PRs in deadlifts, bench press, pull-ups and squats

    5) Molding the physical frame of Chris Hemsworth in Thor, or Gerard Butler in 300.

    Let’s make it happen together!

    /Fred

Currently i have been training for 1.5 years and mostly on fat loss routine. My current bodyweight is 73 kg (161 lb) and bodyfat at 20%. As i am moving to Kyoto, Japan for further study, i can finally control my diet as i don’t have to consider cooking for my family. My primary goal will be to decrease my fat percent to 10% in the next 16 weeks.

  197. I’ve never had the ” I’m in the best shape of my life scenario; if you know what I mean. Although being in the Navy and working out 3 times a week, as a requirement. I never thought,” Man, I’m in the best shape of my life.” I just got by with maintaining what I had. Don’t get me wrong; I was about average size. LOL This reminds me of when I was in gym class and my grade thru out my adolescent years were a B, B+ if I was lucky. I always wanted to go to the gym and left weights, but I would shy away because people there would left heavier than me. I dreaded the embarrassment I went thru. All the down talk was weighing me down. When I say down talk I mean the talk from myself and especially from other people. It was Horrible and left an emotional scar. I to today is still traumatized. My first Day of training will begin tomorrow morning. I’m only going in the morning because there’s not a lot of people at that time. Since my day out of the Navy I went from 165 lbs. to 249 lbs. My goal is to lose body fat while gaining hard earned muscle. I want to go down from 37% body fat to 12%-7% body fat. So I want to look super ripped and have the physique of a Greek god. Thanks Vince!!!

  198. Hi Guys

My 16 week Goal is too hit under 8% bodyfat, I am about 15% at the moment.

I also need to increase muscle density to sharpen up my physique.

At 44 my strength levels need some work so I am looking to increase this overall by at least 20%

Regarding muscle mass I want to add 5-10 pounds in certain areas just to give a more balanced physique.

At my age I don´t want to get much bigger but would like to have a harder and stronger looking body.

I want to achieve these goals not only for myself but to inspire other men and women of my age and older to take action and improve their health and body.

I love training and what is has given me and I want to spread this message to as many people as I can.

With your help I can make this happen even quicker.

I am ready when you are

  199. Hey coach,

I am currently preparing myself to add 15/20 lbs of muscles in the next 16 weeks, my body stopped growing after 9 months of training and barely noticed changes despite my full committment to hard training and proper nutrition which frustrate me. Not sure what I’m doing wrong!? I see some people who has no clue what to do, yet they are growing big!!
This opportunity came right on time as I am really struggling on what changes should I do to my regime and lifestyle that will impact on good results!

I do hope to win and get the chance to educate myself and learn from the best!

Thank you for the chance and good luck to everyone.

Since I had my second child 9 years ago I keep telling myself this year I will get fit and not be ashamed in bikini (kids keep asking why I don’t go with them to the pool in our complex) but every year is the same – no real results. I want to minimize cellulite, gain muscle definition, lift butt (I just turned 39 and don’t want a granny butt :) ). Lose love handles and lower belly and gain definition in my abs. Right now I lift 5 and 8 lb weights, want to work my way up to 12 and 15lbs. Right now I am 145lb, 5’8″ tall and want to get to 130lb. My problem is jumping from one program to another, stopping for a while…. not sticking to a program to see results. It’s like I have a workout ADD, lol. I am sure with your help I can get to my potential. Thank you for the opportunity. Sarka Ugur

  208. Hey my name is Matt,
I’m skinny. I have never been able to gain much muscle mass. Even when I would work out for months at a time, I would barely make any gains. This has led to many attempts and failures to gain body mass and led me to the belief that “I just didn’t have the genes” for it.
For my 16 week goal…all I want is to put on a solid 15-20 pounds of lean muscle mass. I am more motivated than ever. If I could do that, then I would FINALLY achieve a 10 year dream of mine and could start feeling more like a man.

  215. I’m preparing for my first season of junior college football. Having been overlooked in high school though I was a good defensive lineman because of my height (6’0), I feel I will be able to earn something with my play on the junior college level. My coaches and teammates told me to change positions to middle linebacker as it’s a position better suited to my body type, they just want me to slim down while getting faster and more explosive. I’ve recently done a 3 week keto run to cut weight and lost 12 lbs (from 240-228), yet I hope that with your help, I could stay above 220 or even stay at my weight while becoming more explosive so I can truly dominate at my position physically.

  216. I am floating around 150 pounds, and I think 12-15% of it is fat; my ultimate fat goal is to hit 6-9% body fat.

As far as my muscle gain goal is concerned, I would love to gain 15-20 pounds of lean muscle over my whole body. I want to:
•add at least 2-3 inches to my upper arms (and define my forearms as well),
•go from a 38 inch chest to a 40-42 inch chest, really bulk up and define my upper body and chisel out my abs
•I want to really explode my back to develop that V-shaped upper body
•My shoulders I would love to see grow another 2-3 inches as well.

For my lower body, I would love to:
•really chisel out a V-shaped sleek waistline and
•put another 2 inches on my legs.

Another goal would be to develop a lifelong meal-plan strategy to maximize my metabolism potential and learn how to really eat smart; as well as to learn how to be active in and out of the gym––to choose activities, sports, etc. that help maintain and enhance the body I’m building.

    Thanks, Vince! Here’s hoping.

  217. Hi Vinny & Ryan,

I am currently writing over here on behalf of my girlfriend and partner. She’s 21 and weighs about 68-72kg with a bf percentage range between 19-25.

Furthermore, she has a real zest for fitness and a healthy lifestyle however she lacks the tools and knowledge and perhaps the “right” personnel to guide her through her main goal of dropping her body fat percentage.

I strongly believe she is in the best hands with 16 week program you’re offering, your expertise and skills have shown through out your body-building career, working with the top names such as Bpak.

Moreover, I believe you can fine tune her habits on achieving this set goal and improve her self esteem and confidence.

    Many Thanks in advance,

  221. Hi! I’m 53 y.o.a. Using Vince’s methods, I’ve lost approximately 50 lbs of fat, have become very “hard”, and now have a core that is strong and resilient. I’m much faster and much stronger than I was in high school or in my 20′s. But – I still have not added much muscle mass. Although I’ve been consistent with my training and have avoided injury, I suspect that small ‘errors’ on my part – (in my program) – are keeping me from adding muscle mass. My 16-week goal would be to add a solid 10 to 12 pounds of lean mass and to learn the best ways to train in a home gym. Thank you, Vince, for all of your help.

  222. Hello Ryan and Vince

Hello , My name is Vincent Levesque, growing up , I always struggled with weight , I went from fat to skinny, then back to fat , yo yo dieting. Then I made the commitment to myself to never go back and set a goal of becoming a professional fitness model and starting my own fitness youtube channel and fitness business just like you vince delmonte. I have read up on many of your articles and watched your video on how to start an online business and you are in all honestly one of the guys I look up too the most in this industry . You spoke about having credibility so I decided to become a certified personal trainer and work on my body but I am no where near my goal but I believe with your help and guidance I will get there, I am passionate and motivated. I weight 185 at around 14-18% body fat. My goal would be to gain muscle and get down to around 6-8 % and I will do WHATEVER it takes, WHATEVER it is I need to eat , I will , WHATEVER work outs I need to do ,I will, WHATEVER it is I need to sleep , drink etc,, I WILL , I believe this is destiny as I have been thinking about contacting you just to talk and to see that message in my inbox made me jump out of my seat. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity that I cannot pass-up. I believe that after you choose me, we will be able to have a long lasting friendship in business and fitness, as I know your in this to help people just as I am and to pick the brain of someone such as yourself would be amazing. thank you very much for the consideration.

    one of you’re biggest fans
    Vince
