hey, i’ve been following your emails for some time now… i was wondering if your offer is available to people not using your program? i’m sure you’d approve of my routine and schedule…. if my gains are as good as/better than people that buy your program…. would i be eligible for the contest?
The Biggest Gainer Transformation Challenge
Attention: Skinny Guys & Gals
It’s time to kick-off the new year with The Biggest Gainer Transformation Challenge. But this is not like any transformation contest you’ve ever heard of before… If you’re sick and tired of being scrawny and weak and ready to transform your life and be featured in my hard copy book and upcoming movie then this may be the most important letter you ever read from me.
What is The Biggest Gainer: Skinny To Muscular Transformation Challenge?
Unlike my fat loss transformation challenge, this contest will run for 3-6 months. You will be able to submit your after photos and video testimonial (I’ll explain that in a moment). The deadline will be April 1st, May 1st, June 1st or July 1st. I am giving you the freedom to set your own deadline.
Why A Variety Of Deadlines Instead Of The Standard 12-Weeks?
It took me 6-months to transformation my own body from 149 pounds to 190 pounds and I don’t believe 12-weeks is long enough, for everyone, to significantly bulk up and then factor in 1-2 months in for cutting. If six-months sounds like “too long” too commit to then set your deadline at the 12-week or 16-week or 20-week mark. If you need an extra month, you can take it. I’m seeking out the cream of the crop. I’m looking for skinny guys who truly want to change their physiques and change their lives in the next three-to-six-months. Do I still have your attention?
Why Are You Running A Transformation Challenge?
Let me share three of my personal dreams with you and how you can be apart of my vision and in the process, become the person you’ve always dreamed of becoming.
1. This year I am in the process of publishing The Biggest Gainer: From Skinny-To-Muscular hard copy book for book stores (I am currently seeking out an agent). It will be a revised and condensed version of No Nonsense Muscle Building. I am looking for a small handful of success stories to be featured in my book! That’s right, if you’re one of the top transformations, you’re story could be featured in my book that will be sold in book stores. Imagine being on the cover of a book with me and having your own success story shared with the world? Visualize the Body-For-Life book but exclusively for skinny guys.
2. My ultimate goal is to create a reality based T.V. show called The Biggest Gainer (yes, based on the same concept as The Biggest Loser but for skinny guys and gals). However, to pitch to different T.V. networks, I am going to start on a smaller scale. I would like to create a documentary, loaded with video testimonials, of a small handful (5-10 max) of skinny guys who transformation their body over the next six months.
Each contestant will be required to submit a series of video testimonials and video footage of their transformation (I’ll explain that in a second), over the course the three-to-six-months. At your deadline, you’ll send me your video testimonials and video footage and and I’ll edit it into a documentary called The Biggest Gainer: Skinny-To-Muscular movie. I will use this footage to pitch to the T.V. networks to share my vision. Can you see yourself being apart?
How Many Winners Are You Choosing?
It could be 2 guys or it could be 12 or 22 guys. I am looking for “world-class” transformations that will cause people’s jaws to drop and that will be “book cover” ready. Gaining 15-30 pounds of muscle in the six months will make you a serious contender. Use my transformation pictures as a bench mark to shoot for.
What Do The Biggest Gainers Win?
Here is my vision for the biggest gainers. Imagine right now, waking up one morning just six months from today. You walk into the bathroom to brush your teeth. And you get a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. It didn’t sink in till just this very moment.
You’re actually RIPPED and MUSCULAR! I mean solid muscle cut to perfection. Your 6 pack is finally showing. Your shoulders are popping and your arms are so tight it looks like you’re flexing when you’re not.
You grab your suitcase filled with swim shorts and tank tops and you grab your passport and plane ticket for Cancun, Mexico. You’re about to jump on the plane for an all-inclusive vacation with your muscle building coach, yours truly. You and another 10 guys are going to celebrate a week of fun in the sun with your new bodies.
The best part, Vince is paying for your entire trip because you were one of the dedicated and committed winners of the contest. The voting will take place by a select panel of judges (TBD) and all my customers and subscribers.
When you hit the beach and the pool…. you realize that women are starting at you. It’s like they’re looking at you with that desire you’ve always had for them.
Imagine feeling, for the first time… like the person you always dreamed of becoming. And imagine celebrating your transformation with your coach and the other winners.
That dream is not far off. You can officially start TODAY and take your before photos and email them to vincedelmontefitness@yahoo.ca Read below to be eligible for the all-inclusive vacation
How Many Gainers Win The FREE trip to Mexico?
I am prepared to take a maximum of ten guys. I plan on filming (certain parts :) ) of our trip in Cancun and using the footage for marketing purposes to assist in promoting the next contest and the The Biggest Gainer T.V. show so I’ll be awarding the best physical transformations – if you have a “t.v. show” personality then you might have an edge :) Consider your video footage and transformation like an audition for Hollywood!
How Do I Win An All-Inclusive Vacation To Cancun Mexico?
1. You must submit your before photos to vincedelmontefitness@yahoo.ca You must include a casual before picture and a before picture holding a newspaper to verify the date.
2. You must send in your before measurements, weight and body fat percentage. Send in measurements of your neck, shoulders, chest, waist (around belly button), thighs (8 inches up from knee cap) and calves.
3. You must film your transformation and include the following clips:
a) A 60-second interview of why you are entering the contest. Tell us why you hate being skinny and your biggest frustration.
b) A 60-second interview with your best friend, brother, sister, family member, girl friend, teacher or colleague and have them describe your confidence, personality and their opinion of your physique.
c) One clip (1-5 minutes) each month that features a day in the life for yourself. Over the course of the six months you should have a variety of footage that includes shopping at the grocery story; training in the gym; cooking a meal; flexing or showing your progress; comments on your progress; hanging out with a new girlfriend or your friends; interview with a friend and their comments on your progress etc. The more video footage you can use to track your transformation the better. The video footage should be emphasizing your behavior change. I’ll be providing more details on how to do each video at the start of each month.
Can I Enter If I’ve Already Started My Transformation?
Yes, 100%. As long as your pictures are submitted by July 1st, 2009, you are eligible. If you don’t have any video footage, don’t worry, just begin filming now.
Can I Submit Just My Photos Without The Video Testimonial and Video Footage?
Yes, but you will not be eligible for the all-inclusive vacation to Cancun Mexico. I will have separate cash prizes for the top contestants who prefer to just submit before and after photos.
Do I Need To Be Using Your Program?
Of course. You can use any of my muscle building building, six-pack, you tube or article programs. As long as the program was authored by me, you are eligible.
How Much Does It Cost To Enter The Transformation?
The cost will be the price of any of my programs if you do not own any. If you already own a copy of one of my programs, then it’s F R E E to enter. But not free to win – the six months will challenge you physically and especially mentally and the cost will be hard work, discipline and consistency.
This is your year to go from skinny-to-muscular and achieve the body you’ve always dreamed of.
Grab your video camera and grab your camera and get started NOW.
Any questions and comments, please post below. This is the first time I am running a contest like this so if you would like to offer any input or suggestions, please do so below.

This could not have come at a better time! I purchased both your Skinny Guy & Six pack abs in Aug 08, and after 3 months of training and diet, I lost my way and lost any self discipline I had built.
This comp is exactly what I need to give me the inspiration to believe I can pick myself up and start over again.
I am tired of looking skinny with a pot belly.
I am tired of watching your movies and yet not putting it into action.
Most of all, my wife is tired of my false starts!!
This is it! Thanks for an awesome challange!
IM IN!

Hey vince,
Couple questions. Is there an age requirement? In my workouts, I’ve been isolating muscle groups and I was wondering If I could continue doing that and still be eligible for the contest. If not, Is there any way to get your program for free? Could I use just one youtube video of yours and do the rest of my workout my way? Thank you so much for answering to all of these questions!
December 29, 2008
hey vince, i got a question, can i still enter your contest if am not skinny or over wieght( am a little genetically gifted in that area). I just wana know if there are any qualification requirements.
December 29, 2008
Vince,
I think your idea of launching your own TV show the biggest gainer is an excellent idea. I live in the US and people here pay far far too much attention to the people who need to lose weight. They tend to forget us skinny guys and gals up desperately need to pack on the pounds! I think the idea of having a contest will really motivate people to challenge them selves and push past their own limits. This is a great idea, count me in ! :)
December 29, 2008
Yousif – There are no requirements. Anybody can enter. It does not matter how bad or how good your genetics are.
Caleb and Nick – There is no age requirement. You can be 16 or 66. As long as your using the principles of my program, if you change up the mini details, that’s okay. As long as you’re prepared to give credit to the principles of my program contributing to your transformation.

Wish you all the best.

this needs to be open to women! a contest like this is the motivation i need!
December 30, 2008
Yes… women are allowed to compete in the Biggest Gainer competition as well.
100%. you’re eligible for the trip to cancun mexico too. I’m sure the guys who transform and win won’t want to be on a trip with just a bunch of dudes :)
December 30, 2008
Hey Vince!
I didn’t read any thing about living in the U.S
I live in the “The netherlands” Is that a problem?
to join your contest?

Hey Vince,
This seems like a great idea! My brother and I were already planning on making huge transformations this year, now we have the motivation of chilling in Cancun and meeting you (not to mention the other opportunities.) Hell yeah!
Looking forward to the competition and the opportunity of working with you on these projects!

Vince! Awesome site and awesome program. I have used your advice through your emails over the past year and have lost 65lbs in body fat! I am 49 years old and went from a 46″ waist and 225 to a 32 ” waist and 65lbs.! That was just off your advice and direction.
Vince… You are the real deal and it shows in your servant attitude and passion. Keep Rockin man!
Now I have gained 10lbs back and now up two 36″ waist.
So I am ready to rack it up & reach the next level. I accept the challenge and have ordered the Six pack abs program.
My kids and wife are excited too. The great thing about your challenge is there are not any losers.
Thanks again BUD!

December 30, 2008
Hi Vince,
First of all, really great idea! I actually thought of this exact idea a couple of months ago and told my girlfriend about it but you beat me to the punch!
OK so I have some questions.
First off, why so many different deadlines?
Wouldnt the biggest gainer have a better chance at putting on muscle in 6 months rather than 12 weeks?
Is it a first come first serve (ie if you get 12 great transformations in the first 3 months?)
you include me on YSPQ landing page as a success story for fat loss, am I still eligible for the contest?
Thanks,
Joey
December 30, 2008
Dear Vince, when i first started youtube’in “How to gain weight” i was a Skinny guy with no muscle at all, i searched through a couple vids, and then i found Vince del monte Skinny to ripped. my jaw dropped when i saw your gains, i was filled with adrenalin! And i hit the subscribe link, and started to read your emails, and now… a few months later, i’ve gained about 13 pounds of almost lean musclemass :) And i think im in for this contest, im still abit skinny in my eyes. But im sixteen in 9 months, is that age allowed to enter?
-Martin
December 30, 2008
Joey – Yes, you are eligible for the contest.
As for the different deadlines – 6 months is a long time for many people to commit so i am allowing them to set a 12-week deadline to them self and if they wish to continue to 4, 5 or 6 months – they can do that.
You would think the best transformations will be the longer ones but not necessarily.
It’s not first come, first serve. Heck, I said I’ll take 10 max to Cancun on my bill but I have no problem taking more guys and girls if they are equally deserving. As you can tell, I am kind’ve figuring some of this as I go (no one has done this before) which is why I am asking for your input.
Bottom line – train your friggin ass off and the rest will take care of it self.
Norm – to enter the contest you need to read the post above and it will tell you everything you need to do to.
Hawras – yes you can compete. I want people represented from all over the world. Not just US and Canada.
Brandon and Corey – Having two brothers be winners would be SUPER cool. Take advantage of the extra accountability. The competition will be fierce.
Alfonso – yes you can use the program i created with Arnel. Anything made or co-made by me is legit.
Jeff – thanks for the kind and generous words.
And again, YES, girls can enter the contest even though I constantly refer to ’skinny guys.’ I’m sure our new buff studs would like to mingle in Cancun with the ladies – not that we won’t already attract the entire resort :)
December 30, 2008
Too bad we got to used your and only your program… but this is logical.
have a nice day
December 30, 2008
Vince,
Awesome idea and perfect timing! I wanted to get started on building muscle on my small frame for many reasons! Vince, it would be awesome if you could work something out to provide your ebook program at a special discounted cost to new comers. I know you offer the 21 day special, but how about a special lower price to those in the run for “Biggest Gainer”? I’m sure it would help alot of us.
Hope to hear from you.
Jose
December 30, 2008
Vince
I love this whole idea and wish you the best man!
I truely believe I am going to be a top 10 winner!
But my wife prob won’t let me come to Cancun, especially if im looking good.
Maybe you could come to Sydney for a week?
Also, I would feel more comfortable knowing you check your winners for steroids.
I know that sounds un-trust worthy, but i would hate for any underserving ppl to make top 10.
Bakernator ;) ;)
December 30, 2008
Looking forward to kicking off the new year will a solid goal in mind. This contest just gives me even more motivation to bust my ass and get some real results.
December 30, 2008
Hey Vince,
I am not skinny (155 lbs) but I am interested in this transformation challenge. In fact its my resolution to build muscle starting this new year.
I was more than 200+ lbs and lost it in around 3 months of intense workout.
December 31, 2008
Hey Vince,
I have been lately seeing your videos and getting inspired by them. but my question is i am over weight and need to pull down couple of pounds and get into what you call as a tight body.
I have been training now for few months but I don’t find much change in me which make me sick and bored of the workout slowly. But I am ready for a challenge and my goal for the year coming is to get into that physique which I have only dreamed off.
Please tell me how can i get into your workout plan and what to i pay and how.
Awaiting your prompt response
Tiger05
December 31, 2008
Hey Vince, sorry I have a question to ask.
In your program, for the 29-week beginner-intermediate part, you didn’t state how long should we rest between sets. Can I know how long i should rest between sets?
December 31, 2008
Hey Mr. DelMonte,
I am a little unclear on the “before physical requirements” of this contest. It says skinny to buff, but I read along and it sounds like skinny doesn’t need to be a requirement (I mean, what really is considered skinny, right? When really is the “BMI” is reliable and when it’s blurry? Why are we really here, put on this Earth? Just kidding, it’s late. Or am I? Yeah, it’s pretty late). Well, I’m not exactly skinny.
I had another question, I’m trying to remember. Oh yes. I have not taken a deep look into your program, I am a University student (in Kin, woohoo!); curious, yet somewhat penniless if you will. My issue is, I have a knee injury. I have a knee brace. The most recent diagnosis is torn ACL (I don’t think it’s completely torn), but it began with a pulled LCL diagnosis. Now, surgery is a possibility in the near future as I do like to be active and I will cross that bridge if comes (in which case I may have to drop this endeavour).
My concern is the safety of your program towards knee ligament issues and if adjustments can be made to both protect my knee from some exercises, and benefit it by others (ie: protect from high impact, emphasize hamstrings & quads, etc)
Of course, I understand that I should consult a professional for advice and will not hold you liable for anything that could negatively occur.
Thanks for your advice!
~ Stephie
December 31, 2008
Hey Vince,
I’ve been using your youtube videos for quite some time( 1-1.5 months) and also the emails you kept sending me with the various training videos. And I have to say the results have started to show. I was never skinny or fat.. but never had a 6 pack or a 4 pack for that matter.. hehe..!! But now things have started to improve.. So am I also eligible for the contest.? I don’t have my earlier Pics though.
December 31, 2008
This is exactly what I’m looking for in the start of a new year. I’ll only be 16 by the end of this challenge but waiting to be older to start won’t get me anywhere. Thanks for the inspiration Vince, I’m 110% in for the competition.
December 31, 2008
Andrew – well said my man. Tomorrow is not even guaranteed. Don’t mean to scare you. The only thing guaranteed is TODAY and NOW.
Urvash – yes, you can take pictures of how you look today and mail them to vincedelmontefitness@yahoo.ca and set a 3-6 month deadline.
Stephie – You could do the UDT program from NNMB or the female only workout from the YSPQ program. Any program will do. Just focus on what you CAN do and not what you can not do. If you’re going for loss, enter yourself in the 12-week fat loss challenge. If you want to increase weight on the scale, enter in the biggest gainer 3-6 month challenge.
Tiger – look on the left hand side of this blog. There are book images of my muscle and fat loss program. Choose your goal, read the sales page and then order the program that suits you best.
Bakernator – I would LOVE to come to Australia and i plan on coming this year… maybe in the fall. I need to take my own advice and just make the decision. As for the steroids, I trust that I attract contestants that are not going to cheat themselves. When i competed in bodybuilding, it’s pretty obvious to see who’s on and who’s off them so wait till we have to cross that bridge. I don’t think we’ll have to. Bring your wife too.
Jose – i don’t discount my products. Sometimes I add extra bonuses but the price is always the same. Only fair. The trial offer is the best i can offer to get you started. Sometimes you got to make it hurt and put something at stake…even if you don’t have it. I ve spent money on things, that i didn’t have, to motivate me to take action. When money is tight, sometimes that is the EXACT reason you SHOULD invest because you can’t afford to waste it. See what I mean?
Darren – the rest periods are in chapter 10 of the book where the entire program is laid out.
December 31, 2008
Is this contest open to women as well? I am planning on putting on some bulk and a challenge will be a good way to do it.
January 1, 2009
I am giving this a thought…The only problem I have, I can’t decide which program of yours to purchase…
No Nonsense Muscle Building or Your Six Pack Quest…
January 1, 2009
Vince,
One other question…
This might be an obvious questions or it might depend on the judges but…
Would a person be better off bulking for say 4 months then cutting down his BF % for two months, or would he have a better chance by simply bulking for the 6 months..
Which has more value, the actual numbers you put up or the transformation pictures?
Thanks Vince
January 1, 2009
Cool idea Vince! Been to Cancun and it was a blast! Be sure to go to Senior Frogs! ;-)
Hmmmm…I’m still busting my butt and dieting so I may not enter the contest since I am about peeked, but I can send you a photo via email and some new measurements like before.
Idea: you can take me to help out to keep everyone in line. LOL I’m one of those guys that gets along with everyone and is good on camera…I have had training in the media arts.
Anyways, very cool prize idea! :-)

Hey Vince,
Just a question.. You know that program u have up on youtube that says be fit for the holidays, is that good enough.
Also dont mean to sound cheap or anything, but I can’t afford to buy the book. I’ve a home gym (lots of free weights) that I got from a friend, and I was wondering if you have any programs or something that’s cheaper / free. Lol i know it sounds bad, but its the truth. I’ve a tough time even buying the protein shakes, since I am a student.
January 2, 2009
Yes – females can enter this competition.
Yes – you can use the holiday workout from you tube

Dear Vince,
I have been watching your youtube video posts and interviews with fitness models that said to try to avoid the negativity of people around you. Well, it’s almost been a week since I started training really hard and watching what I eat for the 12 week challenge. I told my friends, family and my colleagues at work about the challenge and I received support at first. It’s shocking though how only after a few days that friends call for a night out and say things like, “Oh, come on….you are gonna kill yourself with this challenge….” And I find it so stupid and irritating. Or at work, “one bite won’t kill you”. Or, “you are becoming anti social and boring”. Why are people so negative?
I keep telling them that this something I want to do for myself. Not for them or for anyone else but for ME! Re-watching those interviews really helped me to stay focused and to just block all those negative unsupportive remarks. Thanks for posting them. I look forward to watching more interviews in the future!

Laura… when i started Vince’s stuff mid last year, I got hassled to, my mother in law would hassle me for the weight i put on, and my brother in law hassled me for man boobs.. and a few people around me laughed…. but i lost 5 kilos (12 pounds roughly) very quickly.
The next time my mother in law saw me, her jaw dropped and ran up to me saying how good i looked, and was pinching my facial definition and she could see some of my ribs, instead of layers of fat.
Dont worry about what they say now, but be ready for what they say down the track.
January 10, 2009
Thank you Bakernator! I have been really making an effort here especially on the diet. Haven’t had sugar/alcohol or junk in 10 days and also been working hard at the gym. Hopefully I’ll see results soon! it’s been hard though not having that piece of cake or not having a drink at some social function but I am proud of myself so far….even if people think I am becoming boring. It’s alright…..
Anyway, thanks again for your support and best of luck!

Vince,
I bought your program months ago because I thought here is the one guy who seems sincere but you are starting to make me wonder.Even though I am in a different situation being I am supporting our nations finest in Iraq as a contractor not a soldier.I work 14-18 hours daily and tried your program to The T for 3 months and showed no signs of improvement actually think I got smaller.I am 42 yrs old 6′ and weigh roughly 170lbs.Have been trying my whole life to get to a desired 195-200 pounds and thought your program was the one to take me there.
Being all the work we had I just returned from traveling to do my job for awhile where no gyms were available on outposts throughout Iraq I jumped back on your site and looked at your challenge and browsed some o0ther articles.
You now sound like the rest trying to sell this and sell that and on your challenge it is about you selling a TV show and you this.
Don’t expect an answer and don’t want the :refund” of money back just needed to say what I was thinking.I’m finally able to head back to the gym for a month or 2 having plenty of work on the base I am at and only having to leave a day or 2 at a time and come back.I was hoping I could jump on your site and find some different ideas from you to help but just found what I thought were hidden sales pitches to help you not tips to help us.
January 21, 2009
Dave, what is your job like in terms of physical activity? if its 16-18 hour shifts then I am not at all suprised you did not see much results (sadly) dont forget “working: at your job is also considered to your body as a workout too, if you do constant working and even light working it will be the same effect to your body as a 16-18 hour light aerobic session which is DETRIMENTAL to building size, now with that in mind adding what ever you did to the book kind of topped it off. Just my thoughts :)

Hey Vince,
About your new TV reality show “The Biggest Gainer”, will it also be in other countries and what age must the contestants at least be?
I’m turning 16 soon so I don’t think you will be allowing minors.

April 21, 2009
so i can enter the challenge just with a befor and after photo but should i also measure my neck, shoulders, chest, waist (around belly button), thighs (8 inches up from knee cap) and calves.whats the point?
April 21, 2009
Vince , first of all I apllaud you on your dedication in getting health fitness out
there the way you are, It is legitamite hardcore advice that you offer. MAN!! This
contest is just the kind of motivation that I need to get back to doing what I enjoy
( a lifestyle of living healthy and working out) doing.
I haven’t stepped into a gym for almost 4 months. I’m 39 years old working two jobs, working on my certification to become a school teacher, and at the same time working on my master’s degree. You know what Vince, I KNOW THAT THERE ARE WAYS TO BALANCE A BUSY SCHEDULE, but my excuse has been my busy schedule. It’s easier to throw in the towel than to push yourself, & that’s what I need to do PUSH MY SELF… I just want to THANK YOU for giving me the EXCUSE to do something about it. I’m pumped up for this contest and the overall results. Hope to meet you in the future…Thanks again brother!

Let me know if you are still trying to get something together, or if next year you want to give it another shot.
