Today, I need to ask you for your advice…
…if you can offer your voice, it would be an amazing favor. If you haven’t got me a Christmas present yet, consider this it
Your answers will help me better plan and execute a future product that is in the works for early 2009.
Would you take a moment to give me your opinions by answering a few simple questions below? Feel free to read other people’s responses and agree and/or disagree with their ideas.
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists? Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
7. How much would you pay to be apart of my “inner circle platinum coaching group” that gets a new hard copy newsletter, CD, DVD and phone coaching each month? $200 a month? $100 a month? $50 a month? $25 a month? This content will include my BEST, and latest muscle building techniques, systems and tricks to getting your best body ever.
I would LOVE to hear your feedback and get some direction on this new goal of mine. Thanks for squeezing some of your precious time into your schedule for me.
Vince
Hi Vince,
What I would like from Santa is a workout program that is more geared to people in my age group (I’m 57),who used to be fairly active but aren’t any longer,
because our bodies keep getting in the way. I have found that I need a very slow ramp-up in my exercise program, or I invariably suffer some little injury that sets me back to square-one. I don’t really care about having 6-pack abs or a bodybuilder’s physique, I just want to be healthier and in better shape. It would probably help if I had a small network of other older men (and possibly women, too) who had similar difficulties getting and staying in shape. Thanks for listening, and have yourself a great holiday season!
Regards,Casey
Dear Vince.
Thanks for your mail.
1. Yes i would, but only becourse its from you Vince, i know that there are other great guys and friends of you, as Arnel Ricafranca, Todd Scott, Jon Benson etc.
But in the end i listen to you.
2. The style and workout you can give me, to reach my goal that is to gain about 18 kg and less fat as possible in the next 4 month.
3. Yes i would.
4. You ofcourse.
5. Yes.
6. Yes sir
.
7. $50 it is worth, consider that you have to send me the cd’s and dvd’s, and the time that you spend doing this for us, it is worth it.
You are always welcome Vince.
Wish you the best.
Robin Kent Schæffer from Denmark.
samething with the print news letter…you can find a way to do it online…that’ll further save costs and make it more cost effective & convenient for both parties…
but hey ultimately it’s all upto you bro! and sorry that i keep on commenting lol
Oh and for the Workout Of the Month Video…you can do something similar to what Eban Pagan did for his Wake Up Productive Course…You Can E-Mail us Videos and give access to that blog to paying customers…that would save you a ton of production costs i believe
And I agree with people who mentioned podcasting
I wanted to add something more to Question 2
Basically, the kind of workouts that will facilitate, preserve, & further bolster a lean & ripped body will be ideal, at least for me.
1: Workout Of The Month DVD is a good concept…but 4 weeks may be too short…I’d say like every 6-8 Weeks since that seems to be the ideal time frame to change workout routines…
2: Full Body Workouts…Basically anything that stimulates maximum fat loss, promotes maximum muscle growth, & functional body strength.
3: No
4: Mixture of Everything though Nutrionist Bodybuilders would be the most beneficial
5: Fitness content that relates to the lifestyle, mannerisms, routines etc…like how to keep a balance considering we all have family events to attend and that we need to maintain ourselves so anything that centers around how to lead a balanced & consistent fitness lifestyle that doesn’t interfere with others lifestyle…
6: I would be interested if it’s something new & innovative and that can act as supplementary applied knowledge…once every 3-4 months would be fine…
7: 50-60 bucks a month max as I’m just a college student…
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
I might but I have to agree that getting workouts to do is pretty easy the one thing I will say for a dvd to your door is that it does show you the proper form for the exercises and that is awesome for an excersize you have never done.
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
right now muscle mass programs but I think over time that may change
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month? maybe depending on who you interviewed but it would have to include other things as well, maybe like a magazine on DVD.
4. 4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists, fat loss gurus, motivational speakers, supplement experts, and professional athletes are what I am most interested in. I would like to here from a variety of people bodybuilders, health professionals, but I would want to know they were not just trying to sell stuff even if it didn’t work or wasn’t good for me.
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? I again would want variety to include inspirational thoughts from you not only about fitness but life in general. Maybe and interview with people who have been on your program not just shameless plugs for your products but interviews with real content.
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
once a month would be awesome and it would be something that would make me feel like I wasn’t just a mass customer but that I was getting real individual coaching.
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
(If it’s free)
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
(Improve my abs and gaining muscles)
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
(no)
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
(nutritionists bodybuilders)
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
(yes I would sign up)
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
(nah… twice a month)
7. How much would you pay to be apart of my “inner circle platinum coaching group” that gets a new hard copy newsletter, CD, DVD and phone coaching each month? $200 a month? $100 a month? $50 a month? $25 a month? This content will include my BEST, and latest fitness techniques, systems and tricks to getting your best body ever
realistically I couldnt pay more than 25 a month is it worth more than that probably and if it was really good I would probably be will to stretch to 50.00 but you have to remember that with economic times being hard and needing all the other stuff that goes with working out were all putting a lot of money into this anyway. I suppose bottom line 50.00 a month is realistic.

Vince -
One thing I would like, besides the video podcasts, would be something like the Nike Coaching plus stuff. Audio tracks with your voice coaching people through the workout on top of it. That would be hugely useful.
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
- Maybe. I would prefer it being available online in a bigger video format than you currently use. The videos on your site are tiny. I also wish I still got work out tips on a regular basis from you like I did when I did the trial phase.
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
For me, it’s more about cutting weight than adding weight. I feel your workouts do a good job for me but I am not in the “skinny group” nor am I fat. It’s somewhere in between.
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
- No, prefer a podcast for that.
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists, fat loss gurus, motivational speakers, supplement experts, and professional athletes are what I am most interested in. I don’t care about body builders because most are the Muscle Media types.
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
A print newsletter would just increase your costs. I am find with the electronic newsletter. Like I said before, I would include podcasts in a bigger video format (aspect ratio).
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
This would be nice, but I would prefer that you teach your fitness regime to trainers around the country. Those bastards have a lot to learn.
7. How much would you pay to be apart of my “inner circle platinum coaching group” that gets a new hard copy newsletter, CD, DVD and phone coaching each month? $200 a month? $100 a month? $50 a month? $25 a month? This content will include my BEST, and latest fitness techniques, systems and tricks to getting your best body ever.
I don’t have the extra money to do this right now but $25 to $50 would be my max. WIth the economy ailing, I am cutting all extra expenses from my budget.

($25)
thanks Vince
ops again!
7- Less possible, sorry, but you deserve lots and I haven’t much.
thanks
ops!
5- No need, i think links and some text online is fine.
6- No interested. perhaps just email as much as I need would work well. I already have many doubts solved from you.
7-
Hi Vince
1- Fantastic idea!!!
2- That is an important question because, I need to know the limit of the weight for heart problems. I can’t get tired while training. My belly is the one!!! I am sure I will get is shaped one day.
3- Not really.
4- Nutricionist always with something else.
5-
Question 1 – prefer email delivery, and only if it was customized to my needs. i would not pay to be part of a program that was the same for everyone.
question 2 – believe it or not i am a hardgainer, i have gotton to 225 pounds only through very hard work and discipline, but i hit plateaus often, so i would want a workout designed for bigger guys that helps them get through plateaus and continue their bodybuilding journey.
question 3 – what is an “interview of the month”? if it is you interviewing a bodybuilding or nutritional personality then i am not interested.
question 4 – motivational speakers, nutritionists, bodybuilders (so long as the latter two are offering advice in their fields)
question 5 – no. email is fine.
question 6 – no, too hard to schedule a good time for me to be on the phone. perhaps email specific answers to my questions directly to me.
question 7 – 20-25 per month, or slightly more for an individualized program.
1. Not at the moment as I’m following your mass program.
2. Workouts that allow to work on strength, power and endurance simultaneously.
3. Probably not.
4. -
5. Yes, this sounds great! It would be cool to have articles on varying fitness and nutrition topics, new tips and the latest news/break throughs in the health fitness world.
6. Yes, but would need to know the topic in advance so I could plan questions to ask.
7. Obvisouly the cheaper the better, but I would pay up to £30 (GBP).
Hiiiiiiiii Vince …
I’m from Iraq & I’m a physiotherapist & I teaching in the collage
I would love to receive monthly dvd workouts and newletters mailed to me because I like my body to keep it fittness & perfect shape . Also I like to be in contact with the new information about every thing related to the body .
I hope there are much vedios for female
& I wish to receive monthly dvd workouts and newletters for FREE .
Thanks for your great job & great information you mailed always..
Awesome! I would love it if this came to pass…it just might be the extra “push” so many of us need to actually get with the plan and stick to it! Like many, I am currently in school and not working but I think I could scrape together something like 15-25 dollars, although I realize, from experience with a trainer, that the worth of something like this is more like $240 per week! So, fingers crossed, I hope for the best in the new year…Thanks Vince, Maureen (Answers below)
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
Yes
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
Fat loss and flexibility.
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
Not really.
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
Depends…I don’t want my email to be inundated.
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
Choice could be downloadable.
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
Perhaps…1-2 x per month..
Something like $15 a month.
Love the idea. Love the variety of info you always send me. I could receive info either way digitally or DVD would be great. Now I would prefer to pay $25 per mo. but I would consider a higher fee ($35-50??) because I think you and Jon Benson give me great workouts, keeping me focused on on the ‘prize.’ The change in workouts would keep our muscles guessing what’s next and shocking them into growth as you reach. Sound good, Lets roll with it…
Merry Christmas.
Joel
I would consider a downloadable MP3 AUDIO of your workouts that I could load into my ipod and have you with me at home or at the gym as as I travel for my workouts.
I really need the step-by-step coach screaming in my ear to keep me motivated.
Maybe I have a short attention span(?)
When I look at the video and then go to the weights, I forget all the details, end up getting sloppy, and hurting myself straining something. Then I get distracted, or bored and give up.
Or, I spend more time SITTING on my butt WATCHING than actually working out.
I also have gone GREEN (“paper” instead of “plastic”) in regards to my spending, so I need a way to mail you a check payment, since I no longer use credit card or debit cards.
The monthly workouts would be a good timeframe for me, and $25 seems reasonable. Various interviews would keep things interesting, yet I in my situation I’d prefer more motivation, nutrition, injury prevention, and weight GAINING.
I would be interested in signing up for electronic format workouts. The areas I would be interested in would be strenght training, and fat loss/cutting routines.
Thanks
Hi Vince.
I will try to answer your questions as good as posible.
1. It depends how advanced the pograme is, but it sounds really good.
2. My goal right now to get more ripped but when I come home again from Congo I Whant to build some more mussels = ). I have been training for many years but now I feel that I need something new to develope more, I have never gone to a personal trainer before, have lerned everything my self and by reading and asking people. Then I found your homepage. And what I like about it is that your honest and say exakt what is neeaded of a person to get results.
3. Yeah I think so.
4. I think everything that you gave as an example sounds interesting and very good so maby a mix with everything = ) maby an intervju with a diferent expert every month. maby also “how to train up your flexibility” (good for people that like break dance for example)? It dipends how wide you want to aim.
5. Yes sounds good.
6. This Idea is really interesting.
7. Yeah this is hard to answer. Maby it´s good if you give the person the opportunity to geet the informatin every month, say for example that you send an email about the topics you have for the month, Who is interviewed and so on. But maby this was your idea?
And then you maby can deside the price according to the valjue of the info the peson resive.
I hope this is good enough as answers.
1. No, because I need something more specific. I don’t think a DVD would be anything like having a personal trainer because it cannot respond. As a hardgainer struggling with proportions, I need something tailored to my individual needs.
2. I’m interested in effective muscle building workouts to develop arms, torso, waist, and neck (these are stubborn areas for me). I think I may need some personal guidance too so as to avoid injury, especially to the shoulders.
3. Probably not. Although I really liked the Dax Moy interview, I get the feeling most of the interviews deal with special/fad workouts and diets which I don’t have much use for.
4. But if I did subscribe to the CD, I’d be most interested in hearing from expert nutritionists who really know their stuff and people like Dax Moy who inspire and truly care to help.
5. No, I get enough mail as it is. I don’t really have time for newsletters anyway.
6. Telephone coaching sounds expensive (and I’m broke). If the topics were relevant to me, then maybe I’d consider it at some point.
7. I’m sort of a minimalist and as a student don’t really have time to devote myself to bodybuilding right now. I also have not yet tried your No Nonsense plan. For these reasons, I would hold off on the inner circle club.
Good luck Vince. Hope I can try out your program eventually.
By the way, did I see you in a Norelco ad on TV?
I think it would be a good idea for you to do this offer. I have read the above statements from other people. I would be interested in this dvd and i would probably pay up to $25, but prob couldn’t afford any more.
1. Yes
2. Flat belly and 6 pack abs
3. No I live far away
4. Fat loss gurus
5. No thanks
6. No thanks
7. The lower the price and the better it will be
i love to train body pump and the training program you chow is grate my frends is whit mi when we whats youar movis we love it
Vince i want to order your NO-NONSENCE PLAN but i don’t have a credit card can i order by money order.
You might consider doing an on line survey through Survey monkey of the survey component of constant contact to get the answers you are looking for. Its not expensive and those who respond dont have to take 15 – 20 minutes to respond. It respects your subscribers time.
Answer:
1- I would sign up if the cost was low or better yet, free. I am very tight with money as are most in the economy today, but excellent idea!!
2. I train in my basement and only have access to a bench, dumbells, “W” bar, chin up bar, treadmill, and the ball in which I use for sit-ups so I guess free weight or body weight exercises would be best for me.
3. same as #1
4. I am down for a mix but if I had to choose 1 I would say a nutritionist, that is my weak point!
5.Yes I would and Keep it fitness only! and make sure every other page is not a supplement add
6. I am not a fan of phone calls so I would hesitate
7. Based on everything I have read from you, you are worth paying the $200 for no doubt, but again I personally cannot afford much of anything these days so I would probably miss out on this offer. I have already missed out on what you currently offer because of this
1. Yes
2. I’m lean and looking to gain more muscle mass, but still maintain/improve my abs. In other words, I don’t want to gain a belly/lose my abs while trying to gain muscles
3. no
4. Bodybuilders, Motivational speakers, Supplement experts, Professional athletes.
5. no
6. yes I would, and as often as possible
7. I could afford about 50 a month, not going to lie
Hi Vince,
Thank you for the advice that you gave me at the seminar with Eben and Wyatt in LA last week.
Yes! I would love to purchase workout dvds.
I would like for them to be 30 minute workouts. I would like to use free weights and my weight bench…and perhaps my fluidity bar…in my home gym…and I would like to have you do the work outs with all the reps so I can follow along with you at the same time and not have to keep pausing the dvd…you know, have flow!
That is what I would like and really appreciate the most!
Thank you,
Victoria
1. Definitely. Creating a workout plan has always been my weakness, and I’d find it very motivating to have a different workout each month.
2. Muscle-building workouts that use the least amount of equipment, maybe focusing on dumbells.
3. Probably.
4. Nutritionists and bodybuilders.
5. No, the emails are good enough for me.
6. I’d consider it, but my schedule usually varies immensely.
7. I know anything from you would be worth it, but I’m on a college student’s budget, so I’d need it to be $50 a month or under.
Someone mentioned Tony Horton’s One on One, and I think you could do something similar – and from what I’ve seen of your work, it would be better.
I’m thinking of a monthly DVD with a “watch and do” program, using body weight and/or bands or dumbbells – the kind of thing that’s easy to get and setup at home.
You could have a different theme each month – with a whole body workout, but with focus on different needs and interests.
There’s plenty of room on a DVD, after the workout, to include an interview or an additional spoken presentation – maybe both.
Those of us with the No Nonsense or Quest program know what we should be doing. It’s good to be reminded about the diet and exercise, but I would look forward most to interviews and presentations that emphasized motivation.
I like the idea of a physical DVD – I’ve got plenty of tools that I can make a DVD hard copy out of just about anything, but I think the envelope in the mail could make it something special to look forward to. The option to download for those who prefer to save a couple bucks could help those who want it.
I’m not as interested in the paper newsletter – I’d rather see the information as a spoken piece, perhaps with a PowerPoint deck, on the DVD.
I know it’s a lot to put together for a low price – but I think something of this sort in the $20 range would go well.
I probably wouldn’t go for the personal phone coaching, although I think it could really make the difference at some point – that might be best sold as a short term package, for those who really want to make great gains over two or three months… I know I wouldn’t want to slack off, if I’d paid for a program in advance, and was accountable to explain what had worked for me, over the week, with tips on what to be doing the next.
My responses are respective to question numbers
1)Absolutely..
2)Workouts that are practical, meaning that I would be able to perform them anywhere especially at my home without the need of other gym equipments.
3)That interview of the month is not really my priority but I’m sure i would love to sign up,who knows it could inspire me..
4)Nutritionists Bodybuilders and Dating and relationship authors.
5)Yes, i would like to sign up for it.Any fitness content that you think is necessary
for an 18-years old youth like me.
6)I don’t think it would be easy to be carried out.
7)$50 a month..that’s quite reasonable
Thank you for this oppurtunity….
may you have your merriest day on this 25th
1. No thanks – I haven’t even mastered what you give now,
2. I’m currently focusing on fat loss – so training for maximum fat loss for moi
3. Not at this point – mainly because I’ve bought so much stuff in the past year I don’t think it would help that much for me personally
4. If I did want to hear from someone definitely “Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?”
5. No mail – email is good for me thanks
6. Yes – if it was specific to my current needs. Frequency would be once a month to let it all sink in and report on the results
7. I’d probably want to pay less than it would be worth – times are a bit tough at the moment and I have lots on information to utitlise
Thanks Vince – I really appreciate the efforts and information that you share with everyone.
Merry Christmas!
1. I would sign up for a “workout of the month” DVD. Once I have finished the no nonsence program I think it would be cool to have a new workout every month.
2. For now my goals are for fat loss while maintaining or gaining some muscle.
3. It would depend on what the interview was about or what information it contained.
4. I would like a mixture of everything related to physical, inellectual and relational development.
5. I think an email newsletter would be better for most and better for the environment. I would like content relating to fitness and nutrition.
6. I would consider telephone coaching and I think once a month is fine.
7. Not sure, I am liking the $25 plan.
1. Yea, if the workout of the month was free that would be cool to receive every month.
2. New workouts with the classics! Bulk building work outs: squats, clean, presses, DBs, Squat racks.
3. Sure, interview would be fine.
4. Supplement experts and natural bodybuilders
5.Interested
6. Not interested
7. Not sure
Ok here we go:
1. Hell yeah (if it would ship international)
2. What ever makes my muscles feel the pain the most during the workout (I love that feeling)
3. No not really it would just get me frustrated cos I can’t really ask any questions
4. I would like to hear from Nutritionists Bodybuilders, Fat
loss gurus, Supplement experts, Professional athletes
5. Hmm the print newsletter that would benefit me the most would be all the new scientific discoveries about nutrition, bodybuilding, fat loss…you know whatever that’s beneficial at losing fat and building muscle.
6. Oh hell yeah, you would need a water bottle so your mouth doesn’t dry from all the talking. I guess once a month.
7. 25$ to 50$
Hi Vince,
I think just concentrate on two factors first, on nutrition/ diet strategies considering that nutrition is much important than workouts. Secondly, just send us thru e mail your advices/information on workout techniques and programs on different types of body that suit to individual genetics.
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year

Answers are largely as Sarahs on 21/12/08.
1. No. My subscription to my local Sport’s Trust in England is £15 (less than 10$)per month and includes Gym, Sauna, swimming and I can always ask the Gymn Instructor’s although I often know as much or more than they do, having had at least 57 years of experience.
2. General whole body workouts, some resistance training, mostly with free weights and I use a Swiss Ball to excersise abs. There is plenty of good free information on the internet and in my local library.
3. No. Interviews strike me as being a very long winded way of obtaining a small amount of useful information and usually seem to consist of unsophisticated Americans massaging each others egos with misused words like ‘awesome’. There are some exceptions like Jayson Hunter, Craig Ballantyne, Scott Colby, Dave Gleason, Brad Philon but they seem to differ on nutrition, so I go along with properly documented and published research from reputable universities.
4. AS 3.
5. No.
6. No.
7. Nothing. Research is free on the web. Sorry if this is not what you wan’t to hear but this is my honest opinion.
1. I feel downloading it would be easier, and if it was like that
yes.
2.Total
3.no
4.nutritionist and motivational
5.no. internet is good
6.yes once a month
7.25 a month, economy is to bad to spend more money
Signing up with you has done good things for my body (application of your advice required) but I’m financially challenged now so no to payment. I’ve little doubt that it would be worth it. No one I read makes more sense to me than Tom Venuto; his writings got me started.
Best of the holidays to you
Matt Leiner
Vince, I have tried your workouts that i’ve seen on youtube, and know that they work. It’s not that other trainers on the internet are doing anything different, or that you do it better so to speak… Its the no B.S. way you go through the workouts that appealed to me. I completed your six week gain program that i found on youtube and I’m convinced that you know your stuff and how to deliver it. I will be purchasing your program
#1 yes I would.
#2Fat loss for a lean muscular body.
#3 Yes.
#4 Fat loss, body building all are important in changing, so its hard to pick one.
# 5 Yes.
#6 It would difficult to find the time to do a telephone coaching session. I would prefer online coaching.
#7 I know it would be worth the money… But I could not afford a monthly due.
Some interesting answers to these questions. Snake oil salesman? Anyone (and I do mean anyone) can lose body fat. It just takes an extreme amount of dedication and work. Getting a mentor can sometimes assist you in reaching your goals. So with this said I will say:
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
No
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
Packing on mass.
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
This is a possibility. I just wouldn’t want to see a 400 pound man or woman explaining to us the fastest possible way to lose body fat (quick way to lose clients). Funny? Check out some personal trainers some day. You better walk the walk and not just talk the talk!
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
All of them would be able to add value in one way or another.
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
Just have it downloadable.
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
Not interested.
$20 a month for an inner-circle style system. Remember you would be competing against people like Tom. He definitely walks the walk.
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
I would likely sign up for this, it would keep things very interesting in the gym.
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
High intensity, keep the fat off…
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
no
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
Nutritionists
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
no
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
possibly, if you did it, it would probably be a once a month type thing.
Probably wouldn’t be interested.
Happy holidays Vince.

As a member of many health and fitness experts newsletters i think paying for information could have some pro’s but mostly cons. The same information could probvably be obtained by browsing various websites on the topic you wish to retreive information on however…
I think receiving motivational peices are always a boost and make you keep your head in the game and keep you on track to progress but again many fitness experts offer this in newsletters every week for free. Audio programs can be obtained for free with some research and if you really did want the hard copy it would take 5 minutes to burn to a cd yourself.
Answers:
1) I definitely would like to sign up with this program. This could be a biggest motivation.
2) Progressive style, following the successions would be the idea to reach the goals, can’t say a 100% exactly alike but at least 70 to 80% achievement by following the same style of training.
3) Depends on what type of interviews, but surely you would post some informative videos for us ~
4) Mixtures, this could help in different perspectives toward fitness training (physical & emotional)
5)Yes i would sign up for thos informative letters
6) Telephone won’t be a good idea, how about online video coaching, just like doing on MSN video chat while everyone can watch and listen, whenever they have questions, simple type in or voice chat.. since many of the ppl have iPone or Blackberry with the data plan, as long as it is doing in small group like 3 to 5 at people at a time… shouldn’t be a problem
7) Costing issue is really depending on the content of the lectures. How about you class it in different level with different cost?
Dear Sir , I would like you to be my trainer , i have join the gym, I would like you to advice me everyday what exercise should i do , i also want you to advice me what should i eat to built my muscle.can i have good musle in three months, iam a middle class man, i am 46yrs and 74 kgs 171cms. Hi Vince,
Here’s the answers to your questions:
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
I like the idea of a workout of the month, but can’t quite get through the current workouts! The number of sets / reps / exercises is a LOT for someone doing this on a limited time schedule. How about shorter workouts that can be done 3 – 4 days per week? Between long commutes and my work day, I am already out 12 hours a day. Add in school and my family and you can see what I’m dealing with…
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs? Fat loss, definately. As a 45 (nearly 46) year old female with a lifetime history of fighting my weight, I need to lose fat and gain muscle.
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month? Probably not – would rather listen online or download if I’m interested.
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
Fat loss gurus – only if they promote a ‘real world’ approach. Nothing too esoteric or weird. No unavailable foods or supplements, and allow for those who have to cook for an entire family… Would love to hear from some other 40-plus women who have lost fat and gained muscle. Balancing work, family, workouts and school. Agree with others on bodyweight or band programs that can be done at home. Ever considered doing a program for the Wii fit?
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
No more paper, please – would prefer electronic. Definately how to get maximum muscle gain and fat loss in minimum time. I can’t spend two hours in the gym 4 days per week, but would commit to an hour a day, 5 days a week if I got the results I wanted…
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial? Depends on the time frame, but probably not. Time is just too tight for me.
So far, I’ve found stuff on your site that is just BEYOND my current fitness level. I’m not a total slug, but not ready to do the extensive, time-consuming workouts I’ve seen. I’ve adapted a couple of the routines to fit my schedule and energy level, but feel like I’m not really getting maximum results. Consider that some of us just can’t work at that level – and I’m not blaming you – I’d love to reach that level someday, but right now, there doesn’t seem to be a middle ground. It’s all or nothing, and I’m afraid most people will settle for NOTHING. How about a beginner’s program that helps you ease into the intensity and volume of a normal program?
I think the dvds are a good idea. The news letter is not so good of an idea, although if you sent it via email that would be cool. and as far as the price goes, start low. The economy is low and ppl don’t wanna blow their hard earned money. So I would say start at 15 or 25 and as time goes on and you get different ideas to make it more effective then raise your price a little, but make sure its worth it.
GOOD WORK VINCE, KEEP IT UP
1. That would be awesome!
2.workouts designed for the “skinney” group
3. no
4. I’de love to hear from the people that can help me get bigger
5. newsletters are great! as far as content, i’de love to read about new workouts and diet
6. I think that would be ok, but not legistical. maybe a question and answer page would be more beneficial.
7. I would pay 20-30 dollers per month
1. ya surely… but it will depend on indivdual neccescity
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
your workout r gud.. n do make a video of strechting .. like before starting workout…. tell me any alternative for cardio..
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
nope..
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
yes to all…
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
not required.. how can we manage all of them
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
nope
7. How much would you pay to be apart of my “inner circle platinum coaching group” that gets a new hard copy newsletter, CD, DVD and phone coaching each month? $200 a month? $100 a month? $50 a month? $25 a month? This content will include my BEST, and latest fitness techniques, systems and tricks to getting your best body ever.

hi, i already have a nice six pack and i can bench 135 15 times but my arms arnt that big if u could show me something that would make my arms huge my the summer i would be the happiest guy in the world!
thx. and merry christmas:)
1. No, I already know what I need to incorporate into a workout and can amend workout plans based on my own body.
2. Whole body, fat-burning workouts.
3. No, I am already drowning in emails from fitness experts and if I need info that I don´t have then I look for it.
4. Nutritionalists and fat-loss gurus so that I can make sure that my diet is correct.
5. I would sign up for this as I would be able to study exercise form and workouts while not sitting in front of the computer.
6. It would be good to have access to a direct question and answer session but I don´t think that I would benefit from telephone coaching. Much better to have you spot for me (if you are ever in the south of Spain).
7. I wouldn´t pay for such a product as it is not what I am looking for.
I currently pay a subscription to Chad Tackett´s site, Global Health Fitness. While I like the concept it is missing something for me but I don´t know what. I just know that I will not renew my subscription and won´t feel the loss. I think that I would be more inclined to pay you for your information if it were presented in a similar manner.
Yo Vince ^^
1, No, I Just want it as simple and easy as possible.

2, I would like Endurance and strength cuz I’m a swimmer and dont want to be a big brick
3, No
4, Proffesional Athletes
5, Prefer E-mail
6, No
7,
Vince,
I think it sounds awesome! I think it is great that you come up with so much advice and support to keep up fitness finatics motivated. I’m a personal trainer and I am constantly looking for more info. to keep my workouts new and fresh as well as my clients. Never stop learning! Love it!
Tracy Harrison
Well if the dvds are free for all members i love love for it to me mailed to me. Also you should give out free protein samples for all members. Last my fitness will be to build lean muscle mass and 6 pack abs also to be 195 pounds am only 111.
A1. For sure!
A2. I think that workouts that are focussed on specific muscle groups would be awsome. (I.E. arms, shoulders, legs, etc…..)
A3. Probably not because I’m not big in the interview thing.
A4. Bodybuilders
A5. I think that your e-mail newsletter is sufficient
A6. Nope
A7. For me, I just don’t have that kind of extra money around, so maybe $10 or $15.
1. No, there are so many other workouts available online that I don’t really need to pay for any more. I have lots of variety with Mike Geary, Jon Benson, and Rob Poulos workouts.
2. Resistance training that doesn’t take a lot of time.
3. No – not a lot of time to listen to interviews.
4. Nutritionists, personal trainers, people who have lost weight and are staying in shape. Especially those who subscribe to the “workout in less time” mantra and have the science behind their beliefs.
5. I prefer email – less environmental pressures. Information on resistance training, interval training, and nutrition would be best. I like to know the science behind why I am doing something.
6. No. I workout around my work schedule and family time. I don’t want to have someone else determine when I workout.
7. I prefer a one-time e-book with lots of info plus the occasional email with new tips and tricks. I have paid $50 for these and it was money VERY well spent.
For question 1- I would sign up for a workout DVD sent to my door as this would make things a little easier for me for many different reasons.
2- My goal is to gain body weight ( Muscle ) There isn’t a lot of programs or advertisment for people who want to put on weight opposed to loosing it.
It would also be helpful if there was a DVD striclty on home workouts as most of us might not have enough time to go to the gym.
3- NO, Not to interested in the interviews.
4- I would go with yes a mix of them as Everyone should bennifit from professonal advise.
5- Not to interested in a newsletter.
6- Phone coaching might be good for some, But for me not so much, However, all I would need to do is send an email with any questions. That would be good enough for me.
7- Most of us want a be in better shape without emtying our walets, It may sound a little greedy of selfish, But if we can benefit from your workout routines without spending a tonne of money on membership passes or bunk shakes, It sounds great to most.
Hi vince,
First, Thank you for this opportunity.
1. Yes if you could taylor the workouts to my goals. I don’t want to look like you, I’m a woman. But I do need to lean out and need the motivation that a trainer can provide plus I workout from home.
2. Refer to #1 because I think you have to get personal to obtain this information.
3. No I get enough of this sort of thing in my in box daily.
4. Again, enough!
5. Same answer as 4
6. I think this would get too expensive on both ends. You would have to cahrge me more than I’d be willing to pay.
7. Tom Vinuto has something like this already and I just can’t justify the price and it’s in American $ and I live in Canada. The exchange kills me, plus I have to use a credit card and it just gets too complicated.
Hi Vince,
1. How about video streaming online – less costly and those you’ve done before have worked well!
2. Linked to [1] perhaps you could involve a choice online so clients can select?
3, There are many around already – do we need another sequence?
4. As [3].
5. By email would be much better given postal problems and would save another forest!
6. Could be related to [1] and [2] – client choice as needed?
7. Not sure – would need to see the final package before deciding.
Hope Santa is kind!
Best wishes,
John
I would be interested in a monthly workout DVD, but I am down to 1/4 time at work, and broke, so I would not actually order it. Depending on the content, I may want to give it to my mother, who can no longer afford to go to the gym.
I want to be strong, agile, and healthy. Exercises that focus on balance, core, and coordination would be great. Whole body exercises beat muscle isolation.
I am not interested in any of the other types of products mentioned, and would not order them.
NO. Your ebooks are overpriced at $77, no need to snake sale silly things for more money.
I’m not sure about the mailing to your door because I live in England, that might cause problems
But everything else sounds great, what really grabbed my attention was it said about interveiws with experts particaly dating and relationships.
So yeah sounds good
I TRIED MANY PROGRAMS AND TO GET A SIX PACK ABS YOUR DIET IS 70 PERCENT OF THE EQUATION AND IT COULD TAKE UP TO 1 YEAR TO GET REULTS
I. Yes, I would sign up for the video every 4 weeks.
2. full body workouts. I have lost 80 plus pounds, I need some additional help in some areas.
3. not sure
4. bodybuilders & weight lost gurus
5. no
6. not sure
7. yes 25.00
1. It is more practical to get all information over the WEB – especially since I live in Norway
2. I use the 7-minute approach
3. I don’t want things mailed to my door
4. Home-gym stuff is of interest
5. Again, use the e-mail and links – better than paper and deliveries
6. No, e-mail is better
7. May sign up for coaching later – but do not need “platinum”
well all that you said sounds good but i am living in India the other part of the worl how do i excess to all your queries, requirements, information without spending any money. I am a fitness trainer would like to have intelectual fitness idieas also a few DVD s on step work out, aerobics, pilate, stretch and meditation which i wil pay ofcourse. thank you.
1. Much prefer to have downloadable content. Make it 2 price structures…online or home delivery
2. A mixture of fat loss and muscle building
3. See #1
4. A mixture heavy on the first five….much less on the last two
5. Why waste trees when the web works so well for this. A downloadable newsletter in pdf form. This could be included in #1. Heavy on the fitness side, nutrition, supplements, discounts for members at supplement sites and training accessories
6.Once a month
7. In times like these, more than 50 is a stretch for most
In the age of internet, there’s no reason to go to the expense of making and mailing a series of dvds, cds, or printeed newletters. Interviews don’t really work that well for me. With my work schedule, I can’t and wouldn’t be involved in conference calls. Your website works really well as it is. I’ve gotten so great tips from you, but I also subscribe to a couple other websites, too.
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
yes i would but i would rather have it mailed and since it’s mailed it would be pretty good if it’s short and simple not long like the ebooks
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
not sure to be honest depends on what muscle i want to train this is one place i think you would have people fighting over as everyone would want a different workout and there’s one you.
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
yeah depends on what the interview is regarding and since i’m pretty busy during work i would rather try to keep this short 30-60 mins max
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
not sure about this one i mean if i need to know something i can email you or look on the 24/7 question on your program
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
eletter would be better contents such as what type of weight supplemts to watch out for supplemts section how to bust good supplement from a bad one.
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness also new diet plan and meals unless you have more and some diet plan that have the
SAME EFFECT without protein powder would be greatly appreciated
specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
7. How much would you pay to be apart of my “inner circle platinum coaching group” that gets a new hard copy newsletter, CD, DVD and phone coaching each month? $200 a month? $100 a month? $50 a month? $25 a month? This content will include my BEST, and latest fitness techniques, systems and tricks to getting your best body ever.
25 max
1. How many different workouts would you provide – not everyone wants the same thing, has the same starting point, has the same body type, etc.
2. As much variety as possible – as a freelance personal trainer my days can be erratic so I need gym-based, home-based, outdoor workouts that can also be tailored to time – so I can split it into smaller sections or do a total body workout.
3. Interviews aren’t really my thing but if I had to say one type it would be “ordinary” people that have made changes and kept it up – how they did it, etc.
4. You can find SO much information on the internet. Motivation might be good – but if you don’t “click” with the speaker or it won’t work.
5. Probably not – I’d have to see it to make up my mind.
6. No – I don’t think telephone coaching is very effective. Well, it didn’t work for me, anyway.
7. See answer 6.
1. Yes I will that signs great
2. Cardio fat burning and muslce building
3. Yes
4.Fat loss gurus
5.Yes I would, I think the letter should address monthly issues dealing with tech of lifting issues regarding mental issues about feelings about the body and an article where the readers write in and you select a few and just breifly answer the question like a DEAR ABBY EXCERCISE PAGE LIMIT IT TO EXCERCISE QUESTIONS
6. I would but to be honest I dont think this would be an everyday thing maybe on and off
7. No times are hard money wise right now but what you are offering is priceless and a good Idea Dude when my pockets get great I would pay at minimum $25.00 to $50.00 even though its worth so much more
Brent
1. If it was free then yes
2. a mix of muscle building and fat burning

hi
A1. yes
A2.Burn Fat
A3. No
A4. Mixture
A5. No
A6. No
A7. Would not
1. Yes
2.Transform from Skinny Vinny to Vince Delmonte
3.Yes
4.A mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development
5.Yes, every 4-8 weeks
6.I’ll be honest with you i don’t like to be cheap when it comes to my health, but I am also a university student that has to pay education, car and housing bills every month while attending university full time. Online conferences would be a great idea.
I hope you’re the Santa that just read my wishlist.
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
Yes, but it would need to be very affordable.
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
I’m glad you asked. I’ve been looking for help in starting to work out from where I am, 300 pounds and coming back from a spine injury that helped me get this heavy. But no one starts people out who are this heavy. It’s depressing and frustrating because I need help starting from where I am right now. It would be great if you would create a program for those who are very overweight and/or coming off of physical therapy or an injury and need to get stronger now. I used to be an athlete and I want to do the work to get back there again but I haven’t found anyone who can guide me back all the way yet.
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
Not unless it was sent along with the other CD. I wouldn’t want to pay twice the shipping and it would have to be a nominal additoinal fee. But a CD that I could listen to in my car that would be motivational and inspirational would be helpful.
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
Fat loss gurus, motivational speakers, a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development.
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
I can go either way with that.
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
No, I wouldn’t. The things that would be beneficial to most other people don’t apply to me yet and I’d likely hold up a class. I’m willing to bet that the majority are in much better shape and stronger to begin with.
I don’t care about the hard copy newsletter or the phone coaching so for me, it would be the DVD and peripherally, the CD. At the moment, even $25 a month would be difficult for my family to afford, though I realize the information is worth much more.
Thanks for asking your questions. I hope this helps.
1. Possibly, depending on price. Would also be interested in printed materials focusing on workout, nutrition, etc. Maybe instead of DVD downloaded specific workout to print and take to the gym.
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
Full body in gym, and specific suggestion for time doing cardio- i.e. run for x minutes easy, x minutes hard…
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
no
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
while a diverse group of health experts is good, i think it is best to use people that i can connect with. you, for example, we are able to connect with as you have been skinny and have already been down the path we’re now on. a lot of experts are the end result and not able to share info on the journey that we can relate to.
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
email is ideal. content would be simple, shorter than most blogs/emails now, a lot tighter and to the point, and feature new workouts, specific diet plans – keep science aside and have simpler to follow meals, and detailed workout schedule.
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
Yes. Every 2 weeks.
$25/month is the most people can afford now. What I believe to be the biggest value to this option is the personal coaching via phone.
1. Yes – I would sign up if the program was one that I needed and could use.
2. I need to gain muscle, lose fat around the hips (but weight lose/fat is not hte main goal – gaining muscle is the big item).
3. NO – interviews are not that informative.
4. Once agin, not hat interested in this.
5. Yes – At time I need soemthing ‘hard’.
6. No – Do not have the time for interviews/phone coaching.
7. About 25 a month.
1. Possibly. Would depend on cost, and would like to see sample before committing.
2. Varied. Bodyweight and/or gym equipment. Any and all.
3. Not likely.
4. Nutritionists.
5. Not interested.
6. Webinars would be an interesting concept. I’d attend one or two and see if it were for me. Once a month is plenty.
7. $25/month. Not sure I’m interested. I think your current program is really all that is required.
Hi Vince
Sorry to say but I just started your program (2 weeks) and unfortunately i had an accident and tore my Crutiate ligament and dislocated my shoulder and can’t carry on training.
It’s the most frustrating feeling that I eventually picked myself up and started to take steps into bettering my life and then this.
I hope I will be able to get back on track in the near future and then I will be able to post my achievements.
I would also like to hear from you if you have any suggestions to doing exercises while being disabled with a knee injury( post op) and a recuperating shoulder.
Thanks
Grant Wege

1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
Yes.
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
Workouts that focus on a different area each session but in every session in some form or another work the core.
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
Sure.
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
Nutritionists, Bodybuilders–”fat loss gurus” in my experience tend to be bodybuilders anyways…
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
As far as ‘fitness content’, I would prefer nutritional strategies for body tone.
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
I would love to try telephone coaching. I just do not think I would ever get the chance to get in on it. Asking how often it would be beneficial is a question that is really pointless. Everybody could do with daily personal coaching, but from a personal perspective, just one session could reshape the way someone (I) view personal fitness.
Being the perfect example of a struggling economy, the most I would be able to pay is $5-$10 a month. The people who would benefit the most are the people who are not able to pay much. No doubt the whole program is worth $200+ but many aren’t able to spare more than $20. As one has previously stated, the business would be worth so much more if it was inexpensive/affordable. Many more people would be able to purchase the materials and with so many people experimenting with the program you would have so many positive results. I would (without hesitation) share positive bodybuilding results with others and when asked about which program to use, who to consult, and such, I could point to Vince DelMonte’s NoNonsense Muscle Building program.
A1: I would love to get a work out, i just need the right one for my body type…
A2: I need to built muscle, i have long, slim limbs.
A3: I am not into interviews…
A4: body builders take suplements and i think we do not need more garbage in our bodies, nutritionist are not experts…. i want to hear from dietitians.
A5: yes, i would sing up, but have to be very interesting, someting that i have not heard before…
A6: NO.
A7: tell us.
Vince,
I find that 50% of training is diet. Do you provide with a complete diet solution also?
Thanks

Hi Vince,
You may not agree with my answers but as you and other trainers always stick with that there is no one size or we are all unique, these are my answers.
Not Everyone is able to do free weights, some people use their body weight or total gyms that include weights and has powers and can change them to different levels as they go along and see that they need more resistance with time.
I think sending out DVDs on a monthly basis to each member of your program is a bit overboard and would be costly on your end or it would end up costing the members more to be part of your program. However, the alternate is to be able to download a new workout plan every month would be great and you can keep the costs at a reasonable price to download if a member would like this. Let’s say $9.95 for each new monthly workout plan, I feel would definitely be an interesting way to go. Most people can afford this amount. I keep in mind that not everyone can afford $20 – $50 each month so I chose $9.95.
With the workout plan, it would be nice if you gave two alternatives, for those that can do free weights and those that use their home gyms with resistance bands.
I really hope you can make sense of this, as I think that some people are left behind because they can’t keep up all the time with others and it becomes frustrating and some quit because they feel they are too far behind.
Another thing that you should take in consideration is some people lose weight easily and others work very hard to lose 1 lb. if any. I think that there should be some type of food plan and some ideas on making nutritious meals but also remember not everyone likes the same foods. I would hate to tell someone to eat meat when they hate the taste. What should they eat??? This area has a lot of grey areas so I think definitely should be looked at a bit more.
Personally, I have never dieted nor do I need to, but I do eat some things that probably are not of the best kind of food , hint: cookies!!!. Having a list with good types of foods, maybe very helpful. Members can print it out, set up a weekly meal plan and following it but prepare their own meals BUT with the kinds of good food is definitely one good way to go. High calorie, low calorie is good but most people know how much is too much. What they may not know is what foods they should have on a daily basis. If someone is overweight and is still struggling, there should be an area on your site just for those that really need it. I think grouping us all in one basket is way off and some members may feel embarrassed, some annoyed since they don’t need to lose any weight or not very much. An area that stays up so people can go back to it would be beneficial.
The other problem with this is that some members are reading 2 to 4 other trainers and then they try to follow a program that really does not make any sense but they are doing it because somehow other trainers are finding our email addresses and I can’t figure out how but it is happening. You unsubscribe with them today and in two weeks they are back sending you emails but with a different new name. I hope this makes sense. When you read some of these other emails and they are saying one thing and the other another thing, you are eventually going to get so confused that you end up throwing in the towel and feeling like an idiot.
There should be another area that a member can post and eventually will be answered, I think that is very important. Each member may have problems in different areas so again this is a grey area. How can this be done? Good question, to me a part of your site for Q&A and leave them up for whatever you feel would benefit most of your members and delete those that are kind of a one on one and may not be beneficial for the rest of your members.
Receiving Newsletters on a monthly basis, I have to ask what did you plan on having in these newletters that can’t be posted on your site. After a while, one ends up reading and reading and then loses interest.
Keeping a part on your site about supplements and what is going on with some health food companies definitely should be reminded but again not on a monthly basis and it can be located with the Q&As.
As far as the cost for your “inner circle” is maybe having a choice between a certain cost for those who are interested in some areas but not all. Perhaps an amount that all members can financially be able to do on a monthly basis. I have seen this and their members renew each year and pay a smaller amount each month. Again, just another thought.
I wish you a very Merry XMAS and a Happy New Year.
Sincerely,
Rachelle
1. Yes I would
2. something that is organized by muscle groups
3. Yes
4. I would prefer to hear from bodybuilders because they are usually the hardest to find
5. Yes I would sign up. Maybe new meal ideas could be included, or a monthly transformation contest winner biography.
6. Yes that would help because sometimes I have bodybuilding questions that I would like to talk to someone about. I think that once a month should be fine
7. The lower the price the better, but I don’t think that I could afford more than $40 a month because I am a poor college student so I don’t think that counts.
Hey Vince,
I am a personal trainer from Australia… I will try to give you my answers from a trainers perspective and from someone who was looking to get into shape, or get in better shape, etc. Hope that is ok. See individual answers below…
1. Yes, wicked idea. Although the physical delivery of products could be a bit tricky/costly. No doubt that you have already factored for that? What about streaming video from your website/blog? Might avoid any shipping delays perhaps? 4 weeks is a good time frame too, keeps the programs fresh.
2. Body weight so I can train in or out of the gym, combinations of body weight, with weights, maybe some EDT based sessions. I like my workouts pretty short, 30 minutes tops is usually enough for me.
3. Again, yep great idea and would still ask the question along the same lines as answer to Q1. I do understand some people like the physical product. Maybe do both? Physical and streaming, mp3/mp4 downloads, etc.
4. Just get Tom Venuto!
Ok, some maybe you might need to vary it up a little… I was lucky enough to hear all of Jim Katsoulis’ Elitebody.com interviews and they were phenomenal (yours too man). Yeah go for it, cover all bases, not sure anyone is doing that yeah?
5. Maybe, goes with Q1 and Q3 answers… Content could be heaps of things; ie. how broad is the fitness spectrum? It could possibly be related to the “theme” you were delivering content on at the time. That is actually a hard one to answer in terms of what I would want. Might leave that for some others to comment on.
6. Definitely. This would be a huge value add for customers. Maybe in like a webinar type setup? Once per week is probably a good place to start. Eg. I see a lot of my clients 1-2 times per week but more email contact on top of that. Your print newsletter would be extra support too.
Ok, this is an example only and i will base it on $60-100 per hour of personal training time and then you have to add all the resources and time involved in preparing the material you are looking to provide.
Man, your material is wicked and I have to tell you it has made a big difference to the way I train my clients now (I bought your No Nonsense 6 Pack program) so I would think you could easily charge $200-$300 per month if not more.
Some quick calcs if you were using a personal trainer for 2-3 visits per week which is quite common:
Use $60 per hour – $120-$180 per week!
Interviews with some of the best in the industry ($$$$ how can you price that? Worth bucket loads)
Print newsletter $?
Streaming audios/videos $?
The whole package would be awesome value and would over deliver, which we know is a good thing yeah.
Hope this helps mate… apologies if it’s a little long.
Merry Christmas and a safe and very prosperous new year.
Regards, Clayton
1. Yes (online videos would be better)
2. Any style of workouts. (I would also be interested in meal plans or food combos.)
3. sure.
4. bodybuilders, nutritionists
5. newsletter through email would be better.
6. nah, not for me.
7. $50, depends on content also, length of video, depth, new updated knowledge, etc.
1. I think the monthly DVD would be a great idea! It would make me more likely to do the workouts so that I don’t fall behind by missing one because I know a new set of workouts are coming in just 4 weeks and I need to complete this workout first.
2. I’m doing the six pack quest and wanting to lose fat and gain muscle. Mainly lose fat and burn calories.
3. Not sure
4. Fat loss gurus, Nutritionists Bodybuilders
5. Yes, lots of motivational pictures of both men and women. Before and after stories of successful people. MORE Vince childhood stories, they are awesome! and soo interesting cos people can relate. New information. The same thing as your emails, just in print for safe keeping.
6. Yes, however living in Australia id probably have to be awake at 4am to listen in. So no. BUT if I did I think every 2 months would be good.
7. I think its worth $200 a month but who’s got that to spare. If you get a lot of people joining then you could lower the price OR have it at $50 a month at first to get a good base then jack it up in a few months for the rest of the people after they heard how good it is. I would sign up but I just lost my house so I’m going to have to go without. But I hope this information helped.
1. I would sign up if it’s free, haha.
2. The hard styles and flexible
3. Yes i would.
4. Motivational speakers and professional athletes
5. Yes i would.
6. Yes, it will be always beneficial.
7. How bout $15?
I HOPE SANTA IS REAL SO THAT I CAN ALL THIS FOR FREE! xp
1. Yes.
2. Workout must be under 45 minutes (including warm-up/warm-down). and must be performed with DB, bands or good old-fashioned BW. No workouts with machines.
3. No.
4. None except the nutritionist or bodybuilder
5. No.
6. No.
7. Not interested.
Well-organized DVDs will really take your program to the next level. I want to see 3-day, 4-day, 5-day DVDs where a client(s) is taken through the paces of the workouts. Set up your DVDs where the viewer can choose two tracks: regular session and a trainer’s track. The regular session shows a client doing the exercises per your instructions. In the trainer’s track you discuss the objectives of the particular exercise and provide words of encouragement and exercise tips.
One thing that I’d like is for your printed materials to show equivalent workouts using DB or bands. This would not apply to the videos but it would help to have two individuals demonstrate the exercises using DBs or bands.
You have great ideas, just get them into a well-organized package!
Sincerely,
Ronaldo Carballo
This idea sounds a lot like Beachbody’s One on One with tony Horton except better because that one is just one workout this is a plan. I like it and feel its something people would pay for. For my likeing i would prfer it to be supersets with minimal rest with compound movements. maybe even add a routne that can offer more than strength or power like plyometrics or interval cardio. Thats what i would want but whatever you decide will be awsome as usual i’m sure;)
1. Would you sign up to a “workout of the month” DVD that is mailed to your door each month? You would get a brand new 4-week workout, done by me, so it would be like having your own personal trainer.
yes
2. What style of workouts would suit your goals and needs?
2 day per week muscle building/strength training routines. I would liketo ontinue my swimming on one day a week.
3. Would you sign up to a “interview of the month” CD that is mailed to your door each month?
maybe. i listen to a lot of audio, it would have to be entertainingly informative.
4. Who would you want to hear from each month? Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts? Dating and relationship authors? Professional athletes? Or a mixture of everything related to physical, intellectual and relational development?
Nutritionists Bodybuilders? Fat loss gurus? Motivational speakers? Supplement experts?
5. Would you sign up for a print newsletter that is mailed to your door each month and what kind of fitness content would benefit you most? If you want more than fitness content, share your thoughts…
i would prefer an e-mail. Save the trees and your postage!
6. Would you consider telephone coaching where I teach a different fitness related topic to a small group on the phone where you can ask your fitness specific questions? How often would this be beneficial?
No. i don’t have the time and it would be hard to fit into my schedule.
7. How much would you pay to be apart of my “inner circle platinum coaching group” that gets a new hard copy newsletter, CD, DVD and phone coaching each month? $200 a month? $100 a month? $50 a month? $25 a month? This content will include my BEST, and latest fitness techniques, systems and tricks to getting your best body ever.
i know you are worth the cost, but i don’t have the money in the budget to afford anything extra.
1. I would definitely sign up for a workout of the month dvd. However, I would only do that after completing the no-nonsense program.
2. Muscle endurance and overall strength workouts get my interest more than others.
3. Not really interested in the interviews.
4. See #3
5. A newsletter would be o.k. I’d be more interested in something that discussed the positive things as opposed to trying to bust the fakes out there.
6. The phone coaching thing is a good idea. Maybe one to two times a month.
7. Not really interested in the inner circle thing. I might pay $25 a month if I could do it on a month to month basis with no comitment.
1. It would depend on the price. My experience is that when hard copies are sent in the mail it is significantly more expensive than downloading or streaming off the internet.
2. The workouts that I would like to see more of are performance enhancing type of workouts. Things that can be applied more to sports performance than just aesthetic lifting. Also, I train from my home so I would like to see workouts that can be done from a home gym. Time efficient workouts are always a plus too.
3. Same answer as number one, although I do like the interviews you have done in the past.
4. Supplement experts, professional athletes, and trainers like Charles Staley, Nick Nilson and that group of nonconformists
5. I would prefer email.
6. I probably do not train seriously enough to be involved in something that would be as expensive as I am assuming that would be.
7. $25 a month maximum. Although I am cheap, but I think a lot of people are in the same boat with the economy in the hole that it is.
Happy Holidays
I would definitly like the work out of the month, Im always trying to think of something new and better to do. I started working out three years ago at 145, now im up around 170, it seems like I’ll plateau for a while then out of nowhere I spring forward 15 to 20 pounds in strength. I would also enjoy the inner circle idea and would pay upwards of 200 dollars just cause I enjoy reading the emails you send me, but I simply work too much to commit to something like that.
I read your emails, believe it or not- and almost convinced, I am just tired of the snake oil sales men- still determining if you are one or not.
wont pay your price
1) Sounds good, althought every 4 weeks may be overkill for me
2) Total body workout
3) Son’t know how an interview CD would be beneficial
4) Nutritionist bodybuilders
5) No to a printed newsletter. Email is enough plus I don’t have faith in mail
6) The internet suffices for me. Don’t see the benefit of telephone coaching
7) I’d pay $25 a month.
A workout of the month DVD is a good idea. Maybe a 3 to 4 day a week body building routine. I’m interested in building muscle. I wouldn’t really be interested in interviews or newsletters. I would rather get e-mails with fitness information.
Vince,
I would love to receive monthly dvd workouts and newletters mailed to my doorstep. Audio CD’s would also be great to further motivate and excite me about training and nutrition. Hearing from people who have ‘been there and done that’ really gives credibility to their opinions so bodybuilders and professional athletes would benefit me and my goals and aspirations.
Tim
Question 1: No as there are many workouts on the web PLUS sites such as Mens Health have a ‘workout generator’ where you can create your own workout (free)
Question 2: individually tailored ones hence my answer to (1)
Question 3: No because I am in the UK and these interviews are invariably by non-UK people i.e. people I cannot relate to
Question 4: If anyone, deliberately controversial people. Example: Most people advise eat 6 small meals a day. New author “Eat, Stop, Eat” contradicts this. Most say “45 minutes x 3 a week is enough” – this is contradicted by those who sell ’7 minute programmes’ or tabata programs etc etc
Question 5: same answer as 4
Question 6: No. I decide when i train and I go at different times so my body does not get used to it.
Question 7: No because with careful research everything is free on the web
