Remember Amit Sidwani? He won one of my recent 12 week transformation contests, perhaps the most dramatic transformation I’ve ever seen! We’ll, I just got this email from him and it wasn’t so much the words, but the casual mention of his new after pictures that shocked me! Give Amit a big congratulations. He’s living large inside and outside of the gym!

P.S. – Recently, I gained 20 pounds of muscle and that’s undoubtely the best of the shape I have ever been. I have attached couple of pics.
Here’s an exclusive interview with Amit on his amazing muscle transformation:
1. Since dropping a load of body fat and winning the last 12 week transformation contest, what have been your new goals?
Answer : Constant Improvement was, is and will always be my goal. There is always a room for improvement and the day when i stop striving for growing, it will reduce me to ordinary and ultimately lead to dead end ! Specifically speaking, when i won 12 week transformation contest, i use to get compliments from 3 out of every 10 people i interacted but i wanted more, now after gaining another 20 pounds of muscle with shredded sheet of Abs i get compliments from 5-6 out of every 10 people i interact. And now my new goal, for next 3 month is to add 12 – 15 pounds of more lean muscle mass to turn all 10 heads out of 10 and get rave reviews from all around. My Health goal is simply to always sport a well proportionate physique with shredded sheet of Abs, as that’s how i am suppose to be as a Model and Actor and of course, who doesn’t like attention and be in limelight that one enjoy with great physique.
2. What do you contribute to your new muscle gains?
Answer : Three Reasons ! One of the single most important reason for my recent transformation is guidance from my Personal Fitness Coach, VIKRAMJEET SINGH. His understanding of my body with introduction of effective strategies for my Meal Plans, identification and working hard on my week body parts, rectification of my form and technique and of course, i learned a lot about how to make the most out of supplement plan. Undoubtedly, in his absence it would have been really really tough for me to reach my health goals.
Secondly, this latest transformation made me understood the importance of being CONSISTENT, be it in Meals, Workouts, Supplements or Lifestyle plan. The overall result is far more better when a consistent effort is being put from all the fronts in comparison to a approach marred with intermittent laziness or in case when you are not being patient with your program. The more i stick to the plan, better the results i saw.
Lastly, MUSIC, yes there were times when i felt like cheating, skipping workout and stuff which would have taken me away from my health goal. But Music kept my spirits high and forced me to be on the track and go harder. No two thoughts, Music has been a biggest source of motivation during this entire phase of transformation for me.
3. What does your diet look like living in India?
Answer : My diet is almost identical with someone who is serious about his Muscle Building goals. My carbs includes : Brown Rice, Sweet Potato, Oats, Lentils, Chickpeas, Whole Wheat Pasta ; Protein Source would be : Chicken Breast, Egg Whites, Variety of Fish (Indian Salmon, Red Snappar etc.), Protein Powder; Sources of essential Fats are : Natural Wholenut Organic Peanut Butter, Walnuts, Almonds, Cashews, Egg yolks; and of course, variation of greens per meal which includes : Broccoli, Spinach, Fenugreek Leaves, Tomato, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Mushrooms, Onion etc.
4. What is the biggest struggle you face living in India?
Answer : I live in Mumbai, India and i don’t face any struggle being here. I have access to the Ultra Modern Gyms, Highly Qualified Fitness Trainers and Vendors & Suppliers with all muscle building foods. I am not a sort of person who will blame conditions for not producing results. Our conditions and circumstances in our life are created by ourselves. In fact, i am proud to be an Indian and i Love INDIA to the core of my heart. And anyways, world has become so small, forget India even if one is in any remotest part of the world, the power of internet can get us anything from anywhere, its just how one looks at the situation and acts upon it rather than making silly excuses.
5. How is your career as a model and actor going ?
Answer : It has never been so exciting and thrilling. I have been learning a lot lately about the art and cinema and got privilege to work with few lovely people from the industry. Every single day, i learn something new which takes me to the new height of my career as a Model and Actor. i started my career as a Model and did various prints and television commercial assignments in Dubai for leading companies HSBC bank, Etisalat, Du Telecom, Swensens Pizza etc. and lately i have been focusing on Acting and soon will be out with my Debut Movie. Also, to mention, recently i launched my official website www.amitsidhwani.com to keep my Friends and Fans updated with my latest work and life.
6. What is your advice to someone who looked like your before picture ?
Answer : I became aware about importance of being Fit, around 6 -7 years back when i aged 22 something with waistline of 44 inches and weighing 117 kgs. Now if you are someone like that, then its not for the first time you gotto hear, “oh Please ! You have to loose this excess FAT !!!” Boy o Boy, i can’t tell you how better it is, when you shed all that unwanted fat and transform yourself. The life from all spheres, be it your Personal life, Work Life or even your Relationship Life gets a whole new enthusiasm and oomph. You feel like you are at the top of the world with all that appreciation and attention from all around. The only thing is once you decide to transform yourself, then stick to the plan and don’t deviate until you achieve it. There may be hurdles and delays and frustration on the way, but if you are persistent and focused (I know it sounds banal, but that’s the only truth), you will get what you want and when you have it, the feeling is just AWESOME !
7. You think you’ll come to Live Large LIVE one day?
Answer : Vinny, you have been part of my life since first time i saw my sheet of Abs ever in my life after i followed your “Six Pack Ab Quest” program, which of course landed me on the cover of India’s largest Health and Fitness Magazine, Men’s Health. And recently i saw LIVE LARGE SEMINAR DVD’s and if i say i just loved it, it would be an understatement. The best part of LIVE LARGE Seminar was – all the situations, circumstances and problems cited by the speakers (specially by You and Jeff )are faced by common people everyday. And all the speakers have shared how they handle them and come out bright from such rut. I could relate to almost everything discussed in the seminar, not only about Fitness and Health but also about the ways how we can make a difference in life and make it worth living. And let me take this opportunity to declare that in a year from now, at the time of next LIVE LARGE LIVE, i will not only attend the seminar in person but also be the living testimony to LIVING LARGE – by making all the further positive changes in my Personal, Professional, Relationship and Spiritual Life.
