Before you watch this “muscle worship” video – don’t worry – I have not fallen in love with myself! This video was included in the photo shoot package I got when I shot with Jason Ellis “The King of Covers” These pictures and video was made the day after the 2011 WBFF Fitness Atlantic Championships.
Don’t worry – I’m not really into posting these videos but I thought it would be fun to throw in some really vain inspiration!
Hit it hard today!
Vince
P.S. Want some inspiration to last a lifetime? Come to my first 2-day seminar later this summer.
Wow you look pretty hard Vince. Hard like someone who has a pretty good Androgen to Estrogen ratio. Either someone is genetically gifted after all or someones been taking Anavar or some other Anabolic Steroid. I guess you wouldnt be the first dishonest person on the internet. Just look at Flex Wheeler.
Hey Cory. Thanks for the compliment bro. Keep focusing on your goals!
Very interesting to read about steve and vince’s comments. I just like to add something regarding what my “realization” was about the training lenght i.e. 2-4 hours training in the gym, straining yourself etc.
1. I “realized” i am only gonna be good and realize my dream physique depending on “how much time and dedication” I put into it meaning If I only go to the gym 3 times a week @ 40 mins. each time my goals will probably be a bit longer to reach nonetheless REACHABLE.
2. My lifestyle only “allows” me to train a maximum of 2 hours 4-5 days in a 7 weeks period. Which means if I try to add more I would sacrifice my other commitments and obligation as well as leisure time.
3. With that time I “realized” and understand i might not reach my goals as fast as ” fitness models ” do but nonetheless I am getting there but a bit longer. Consistency is the key.
4. I realized If I add more gym hours to what I am doing now, I wouldnt enjoy the “journey” anymore but rather it would feel like a burden AND I DONT INTEND THAT.
ergo. With all the blogs, videos, comments of all the ppl in vince’s blog I LEARNED SO MUCH and added it to my ” fitness toolbox ” and from time to time when I hit a wall to move forward or just get lazy for some reason. I comeback here for inspiration and motivation and FOR THAT THANKY YOU VERY MUCH VINCE, STEVE, all of you people you contribute here, good or bad I do appreciate it.

One word on that video: WAOW !
Congratulations Vince
Thanks Marie.
Congratulating Vince,
I know this has taken you time, deciplin, detication and most of all peitence. You’re now getting the pay off my friend. Looking like a monster (good one that is:D). I have been following your workouts along with some of my workouts that do work for me and I see amazing results. When i look at my before and after pictures I just smile when i see the difference.
Keep inspiring us my friend. You’re doing excellent job. Wish you success at everything you do. Good luck with your goals.

Vince,
You look great the hard work paid off, big time.
Vince,
I am 42 years old and have been doing your program for one year now. I gained about 14 pounds of muscle during this time period and was wondering – should I still be working out 3 times per week for forty-five minutes, or do I need to increase the frequency or duration if I want to continue to grow? Thanks!
Nice inspiration Vince! Quick question, I’m curious if your body part training is more straight sets body builder style? Or more like Giant sets and extended sets like a fitness model? Thanks for your time always man
.
Steve, get your own blog. There’s more than one way to skin a cat – and more than one philosophy when it comes to building muscle.
We Love Haters.
Mitchell
Be nice now Mitchell.
@Steve
Maybe Vince ONLY gained 4-5lbs of muscle but he had a clear target of looking shredded! Vince has acheived his goal-big time, and credit to him!
@Julian. You’re right… that would have been a great way to end the video.
Hey hey vince..!
Congratz on your 6 months journey, what a reward!
Gotta say the thing you do with your finger(s?) when you’re posing (like pointing or something?), it just finishes the pose man, freakin’ awesome..!
But regarding that “i’m not in love with myself” thing – i truly belive you when you say that -, but it would’ve been great if you had some sort of a laugh at the end of the movie, just to finish it off you know? Just a thought, doesn’t really change that much tho
Anyway, awesome!
Keep ‘em coming mate…!
Julian.
Man… What’s up with Steve? Unbelievable. Trying to get his 15 minutes of internet fame without putting up a blog himself. Got better things to do with my life. Enjoy your life Steve. Have one on me. LOL.
OMG: Old Cat(Steve) versus Youngblood (Vince)…CLASSIC!!!
Appreciate both!
Hi Vince
Great production cannot wait to see the final outcome this august
Vince,
I’m sorry. This is coming off negative and that was not my purpose. I think you are better than what it seems you are giving yourself credit for. Your old workouts did a lot for you.
1. I’m insisting that you gained 4 or 5 pounds based on your stats from last year when you were ready for your photo shoot. Your stats now are only 4 or 5 pounds more.
3. I’m not talking about damage that will show up in bloodwork that you get done next week. Its wear and tear (pain) that will show up several decades from now.
Believe me, I know the exhilaration of 2 1/2 hour workouts and pumps so big that I couldn’t wash my back in the shower. Now, I enjoy other things.
By the way, and I mean this in all friendliness, at 59, my arms still look better than yours. Genetics, baby! I wish I knew more about computers and how to post a picture so you would know I’m not just blowing hot air.
@Steve. I believe you and know your comments are well intentioned. And you’re right and I appreciate the word of caution… Right now I’m treating my body like a sprinter and going full tilt… So far so good but I’ll take your caution into my workout length. Keep making us young guys look bad! Vince
Vince,
That is a very gentlemanly way to say, “Let’s agree to disagree.” Thank You and Good Luck!
Xena,
Great attitude! Keep it up
Fruit Loops,
No, I’m not going for my 15 minutes of fame. I had a thought, posted it and then Vinnie and I had a discourse. Why did you feel compelled to put your 2 cents in?
Gareth,
You are right; he accomplished his goal and looks great.
Mitchell,
I’m not a hater. I’ve been following Vince for several years and happen to like his old training philosophies better. I wish I knew how to do my own blog, unfortunately, I have a lot of experience in training and almost none in computers. I am just now learning how to comment on Vince’s blog (yes, I know, you wish I had never learned that).
To All,
I’m sorry if blogs are only for those who agree totally with the blogger. I thought they were places to post opinions. I guess I was wrong.
Steve.
1. How do you know I would have made the same gains and why are you insistent that I “only gained 4-5 lbs”? If I had gained 6-7 would that have been better in your eyes? See the problem… We have different beliefs when it comes to the word “only.” Some guys needs 10 lbs to rationalize the cost, some guys need 1 lb to rationalize the cost. Your work to pay off model is far different than mine obviously.
2. I don’t believe I would have had the same results without the investment.
3. Maybe you’re right… I’ll find out when I get my blood work next week.
4. Sorry Steve… we don’t have the same values when it comes to fitness nor the same goals clearly.
I have no interest in trying to convince you that my investment or time in the gym were worthwhile nor would I try to convince you that “you’re not doing enough.”
For me, everything is a learning experience. Getting better each day and I learn from DOING, not assuming. I understand where your thoughts are coming from but I have a reason for everything I do.
Keep at it
Vince
Awesome Vince,
very inspiring.
Cheers,

Vince,
I’ve been thinking about this since you first came out with your new photos and now I’ve decided to say what I think.
You look good, no doubt about that. But, It seems that you only really gained 4 or 5 pounds of muscle over what you had when you were training yourself. Plus, you were only training for 45 minutes per session, according to what you said. Is that extra 4 or 5 pounds really worth an extra 3 or 4 hours of workout time every day and all the money you spent on the trainer? Not to mention the fact that you put an awful lot of strain on your body bulking up and then cutting back down, again, only for 4 or 5 pounds of muscle. It just doesn’t balance out to me.
I wish there was a computer program that would compare what you would look like now if you had continued with your own program. I think you would be surprised.
Not only that, but who are you marketing to who has the time and money to follow in your footsteps? Certainly not me.
I look forward to you coming back to earth.
I miss the od Vince.
@Steve.
I appreciate your comments. A few observations from your word selection….
1. “Only” 4 or 5 pounds of muscle. The word “only” is not in my dictictionary. Progress is progress in my world.
2. “Really worth it” Progress is what I’m after so there was no doubt in my mind it was worth it. It’s ALWAYS worth it.
3. “All the money you spent” Why do you assume I think 4K is a lot of money? For myself, that investment is a drop in the bucket for what I got out of it. And I do not “spend” money … I “invest” money
4. Who said I put a lot of strain on my body bulking up and down? Try not to transfer your own assumptions onto others experiences.
You seem to be more attached with the OUTCOME then the journey. The outcome is only icing on the cake. I train to become a better person and for habit change and transformation. It’s about the journey bro, not the end outcome.
As I grow, I expect my readers to grow and keep up. I’m setting a fast pace and I hope you make some moves to keep up bro or else you’re going to live an average life.
Come and join me in my world. It’s a lot more exiting
I write all of this to you with a big smile on my face.
Keep at it Steve.
Vince,
1. I appreciate some of what you have to say, but you didn’t address “only” gaining 4 or 5 pounds of muscle in trade for hundreds of hours of extra training. I don’t understand what you mean by “only” not being in your dictionary. You missed my point; you would have been able to make those same gains with your old workouts.
2.& 3. Spend or invest. The bottom line is that it was a waste if you could have had the same results without “investing”.
4. As far as transfering my own assumptions about straining your body by bulking and cutting, I think I have a bit of experience on you and your trainer, combined. I have been training with weights for 50 years, training in highschool athletics, college athletics and as a professional boxer. I have also been professionally employed as a trainer since 1978, training professional football players, as well as body builders, power lifters, boxers, wrestlers, mixed martial artists, golfers, tennis players and runners. Believe me, you put unnecessary strain on your system and someday, you’ll realize it.
You talk about the journey rather than the outcome. Maybe you really enjoyed the journey of hanging out with the “big boys”, but there is more to life than spending the equivalent of a 1/2 day of work in the gym every day.
Your arrogance has surpassed your intelligence.
By the way, I’m not your bro, I’m probably older than your dad.
Great Shoot, Keep inspiring us Vince. If you can than we can too.
Beautiful! No homo
WoW! lol, In your WBFF Pro shot, you remind me of Ivan Drago from Rocky IV with the spiked hair. Great shots and very inspirational!
