A lot of people probably think that eating this way is completely unnatural. But they are wrong. For thousands of year, people have eaten very irregularly. If the hunters caught something, the entire tribe was eating a lot of food for a couple of days, and if they didn't the entire tribe went hungry.

What I'm trying to say is that our bodies are very well adapted to this kind of eating. And I'm pretty sure that it won't cause you to loose muscles, since that would be genetically unsound.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('3534','Eat stop eat','A lot of people probably think that eating this way is completely unnatural.
!!ATTENTION!!

Quoting your article, we have.. "Brad: The Eat Stop Eat style of eating has been scientifically shown to increase growth hormone. And I mean a lot, by the end of a 24 hour fast research shows growth hormone can increase as much as 10 fold!"

I made a small research on the net and found out that there's no proof to this theory of improving T-levels by FASTING...

My search links that support my theory -

I have been using eat stop eat for about 2 months now. I have had such great results and for me personally it is really easy to stick to and is suprisingly enjoyable. I feel a real sense of achievement when i have completed a fast and it also helps me to make healthier food choices and trains my body to get used to small portions. Working out is no problem either, i am able to work just as hard on fasting days and feel no negative effects at all. I just have one question, i really want to lose 12lbs by christamas so am now fasting every other day. Is this ok?
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('3535','nicky','I have been using eat stop eat for about 2 months now.

Ya gotta lift heavy… no time for small and weak!!

I was obsessed with bench pressing for a long time. And I have always trained athletes who get tested on it. I proudly proclaimed it to be a great size and strength building lift and measure of upper body power. I have discussed this issue with many of the worlds top shoulder specialists in recent months and they are all in full agreement.

That’s not to say that you can never bench again.

Interesting Share Vince.

I am a Muslim, and we fast every yr for a month...the fast usually lasts for about 12-13 hrs, but the difference is...there's no food or liquid intake what so ever during that time frame...

so I'm thinking this is indeed different...but I must say sounds quite unique...Will look into it!

Thanks for sharing!
Reply - Quote

Hi Vince,

In the last 25 hours I fasted, with no trouble. Instead of starting in the morning, mine started after my evening meal. It has been a great reminder of just how little food I need, and it enhances my faith in Christ. Highly recommended.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('3530','Terry Yount','Hi Vince,\n\nIn the last 25 hours I fasted, with no trouble.
I've ordered and read Brad Pilon's book and I gotta say it really works. 3 things really amazed me by implementing intermittent fasting into my lifestyle.
1. It's very do-able. During my 24-hour fast (usually breakfast to breakfast) I do get hunger pains which are easily quelched with water or peppermint tea. My worst hunger pains come right before bedtime, but by then I'm sleeping and waking up ready to break my fast. I thought I was going to need a lot of mental preparation to get through my fasting day, and it's actually a LOT easier than I expected.

2. When I fast I cannot tell you the kind of mental clarity I have the day of my fast and the following day. I don't feel sluggish and tired, and I'm mentally sharp.

3. Fasting has forced me to tune into How I eat, What I use food for, and How to listen to my stomach and shut off my mouth when I'm full. As somebody who's an emotional eater this revelation has been a bit of a Godsend for me. Amazing!

4. I know I said 3 things, but for a kicker and as a "duh" factor, I don't spend as much money on food. It's nice to save a bit on that grocery bill.

But enough of my yappin'....see the results for your ownself.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('3528','Aaron','I\'ve ordered and read Brad Pilon\'s book and I gotta say it really works. 3 things really amazed me by implementing intermittent fasting into my lifestyle.\n1. It\'s very do-able. During my 24-hour fast (usually breakfast to breakfast) I do get hunger pains which are easily quelched with water or peppermint tea. My worst hunger pains come right before bedtime, but by then I\'m sleeping and waking up ready to break my fast. I thought I was going to need a lot of mental preparation to get through my fasting day, and it\'s actually a LOT easier than I expected.\n\n2. When I fast I cannot tell you the kind of mental clarity I have the day of my fast and the following day. I don\'t feel sluggish and tired, and I\'m mentally sharp.\n\n3. Fasting has forced me to tune into How I eat, What I use food for, and How to listen to my stomach and shut off my mouth when I\'m full. As somebody who\'s an emotional eater this revelation has been a bit of a Godsend for me. Amazing!\n\n4.
hey Andy

You are more than welcome to being your 12 week transformation any time. Just have proof of your before and start date and you submit your story at the end of the next round.

I'm not sure when that will be yet. You'll find out via the newsletter.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('3527','Vince','hey Andy\n\nYou are more than welcome to being your 12 week transformation any time.
