Flavia Del Monte and her husband Vince Del Monte know what it means to cease opportunities and live responsibly. As leaders in the fitness industry they have built a successful profile helping others reach their full potential. They have  revolutionized the  fitness industry by using their knowledge and skills to breakdown barriers that keep people from reaching their goals and living a healthy lifestyle. In addition, they have  also used their career and life calling as a profound opportunity to transform lives in the gym, at home, and around the world.

Flavia recently launched her new Full- Body-Licious program to help women discover the formula to a flawless figure. The successful launch took place during the final weeks in 2011. This launch was extra special and exciting because  Flavia was passionate and committed to making this program’s  impact reach beyond the fitness level. It quickly became a catalyst to provide hope and opportunity to women and men worldwide helping them defeat the cycle of poverty through NationWares. Flavia set a goal to use her Full-Body-Licious program to raise $10,000.00 for NationWares. She was happy to shatter that goal during her targeted launch time. When people in poverty can start successful businesses (just like her and her Vince have in Canada and the US) they have the opportunity to escape poverty, provide for themselves and their families,  and live a healthy and fulfilled lifestyle no matter where they are in the world.

The Impact

To paint the picture of impact…Flavia’s $10,000.00 to NationWares will directly provide enough money for NationWares to successfully empower people  in  10 different countries and help them create and launch approximately 20 – 30  sustainable small businesses from the bottom up, impacting anywhere between 350to 500 direct beneficiaries. The women and men involved will all experience  first-hand what it is to have opportunity, education, and the chance to support themselves and their families. Many of the people impacted may also live with some form of disability or exceptional need. These funds  will allow them to experience a total transformation that will last a lifetime! It is inspiring to see a woman like Flavia take her job and passion and turn it into an opportunity to help others. When we asked Flavia why she chose this opportunity she responded, “Ever since I was a young girl, I have felt called to give. I remember hearing a pastor speak on how our money doesn’t belong to us. I feel that God places people in situations where He entrusts us to give what He has given us. I am humbled by NationWares, an organization that truly is changing lives.
