How To Win 1 Of 3 FREE 12-Month Memberships

In 250-words or less please answer the following question:

Why Do You Want To Look Like Something Greater Than The Norm?

Tell me why a better body will change your life.  Tell me why you deserve a better body?  Tell me what you would do if you had a body better than the norm.  Why is it important to you to look and feel better than just “average.”

I will award the top 3 most inspiring entries early Monday morning.  The contest ends Sunday night at midnight so post your submission in the comment section below.

Please write in clear and concise sentences and try to avoid huge blocks of text without any breaks for paragraphs!

Don’t forget to leave your first and last name and where you are from.

I can’t wait to know why you want something greater than the norm.

Good luck!

Vince

P.S. I failed to mention one thing: I’m not going to reward the winners out of sympathy or because I feel sorry for you.  So please do not use financial reasons or lack of moola as a reason I should award you the membership. I want a reason that will inspire me and others reading.

Instead, I want to know how a body beyond the norm will change your life, the lives of your loved ones, how you would be and live differently…  think beyond yourself.   Basically reasons that are going to make it really hard for me to pick three winners… LOL

Alight, post your entry now! I’m reading EVERY ENTRY and already feel bad I can only pick 3 winners.

confidence, muscle, and power are some of the things i have gained from weight lifting, and from only the couple of i put on since i started. if your program does work for me it would mean… like most men have said women that would change a life. why do i deserve it? well i didn’t really get good information about gaining weight until i was 15. i was always trying my best in my p.e class. for my mass i was very strong, but that was becasue i would workout at home doing pushup, pull ups, and sit ups from 5th grade through 8th grade, but i wasn’t getting big. so now that i can lift weight i push myself with biginer or advanced workouts… one thing i would do help others who are thin or wide. i want to help people but since i’m not big who will accept it. looking better than normal would help not only me but everyone around me. because it would mean more help i could offer not only in excersice but any other thing. thanks for reading if you even do read all of these.

why i would like the MYM, well it simply i like challenge and from the preview that i just saw its seems that i would love it. i think i would be a great candidate cause i was on the same situation of you vince a cuople years ago family, physicians etc. told me that because of my genetic i wouldnt be able to be bigger but that didnt stoped me..i could had used steriods and all that crap but i didnt, i kept on going to the gym day after day…i was almost at that piont of quiting, but i decided to make some research and for my luck i found your blog i subscribe, to your site and i read your story, that motivated me i knew that i had a chance. in less than 6 months i had gian 20 lbs of sold muscle. however im still not satisfide with my body. i just want to prove everyone that once told me that genetics would keep me back that they were dead wrong. just like you did it bro. then i would be able to share my story and help those who are in the same situation. and thats my story if i get it great and if not well then maybe in another occation or i just might buy it..ohh and vince congrats on your recent marrigage you are a real role model. thanks men =)

  8. Raja says:

    Dear Vince,

Being different is something that every single one of us thinks of, but the majority did not try to reach beyond normal. I used to be one of those people who thinks only without taking action. I was doing nothing but thinking of how would I look like “IF” I did so and so… So I stood up and took action!

I started to work on my body and followed your NNMB: stopped eating junk food, lift wieght, jog often, sleep well. It feels really good to accomplish something you thought you will never will. I’ve been skinny all my life, but after taking action, I look alot better now. And I will not stop right there.

I want everyone around to know that nothing is impossible, even if you are skinny. I want everyone to watch and notice my progress every week. I want to be recognized among other people, I want to feel different, I want to be different.

I want to continue my journey in body building untill I have the perfect body I always wanted, and I will not stop until I hit the dead end wall. With your help, I will pass that wall and keep on working to fulfill my dreams.
    A better body… A better life!

  9. Vince says:

Why Do You I Want To Look Like Something Greater Than The Norm?

Life is very tough and short, we all know it, so why should I spend time building muscle on my body? For me, the answer is rather simple. My metabolism is extremely fast, so I have a hard time building muscle, but if I can prove to myself that nothing is impossible, I can get anywhere with my life. This includes social, financial, family and girl things.

Many people tell me that I’m too worried with my body, but this just encourages me to push myself harder cause that’s how I know I’m doing things right. I’m going to give you an example:

I’m studying architecture, so as you may know, it is a very time consuming major. Also I live by myself so I have to make my own food. Many students just us this as an excuse to be lazy, but I’m not like them. I somehow always manage to have time to go to the gym and cook my own food. Right now I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been and I’m not any close to stopping. I know it’s gonna be hard to combine my major with bodybuilding, but at the end this will teach me some awesome things. If I’m able to achieve my goals right know with the school and bodybuilding, what would stop me when I graduate? Or even when I get my own family? If I can withstand difficulties now, I would do it anytime!

I understand that you don’t want a pity plea on here. Trust me, I hate pity. But I’m only sixteen years old and working out has always been hard for me. I used to be that fat kid up until about fifth grade and now im just a skinny junior in high school. Working out, playing basketball, and running are the only things that help me get my mind out of the gutters. My house just burnt down last thursday. I would just love something to help get my mind off of that and help me reach my full potential. I’m sorry for throwing that pity out there, I just had to because it makes me different.

  12. David says:

Do I lack confidence? No. Do I want to impress people? No. I am 60 and yet I know I have never achieved the body which I was capable of. Sure I have worked on the biceps but never applied myself to that overall body revolution which transforms one into a dynamic and efficient persona. I want to win MYM not for anyone else but to finally prove to myself that everything is possible with dedication, motivation and a knowledgable teacher.

  13. Abdeltawab Alaa says:

A better body would change anyone’s life , even would boost their will to work , as the right brain is in the right body , working out is a life, making us capable of eating anything that we want with pleasure , even if we will have to workout more to burn the calories , while some people who don’t workout and don’t care about their body sometimes feel depressed when eating and seeing that they are getting fatter, but us for those who workout , with every workout session , we do feel happier as our muscles increase and our body would look better.

A better body would make us feel confident , would make us successful with every matter in life , with relationships wid the other sex ( every gurl would dream for a guy wid a fit body ) , in the field of work (as it keeps you happy and in a good mood seeing that your body is increasing , so this increases your productivity in work) .

The most important thing is that feeling that you have a better body always keeps in a good mood , studies showed that the most difficult diseases to cure are the psychological problems, while when we know that when people workout they feel better , so yeah working out is a cure for psychological problems for free , at least for depression , me myself when i’m depressed or sad , i workout , and i really feel better.

Last but not the least , our body isn’t ours , it’s a gift from God, so we should conserve it , working out would make you always look forward to getting your best shape so yeah ,

working out is a life , a whole new life , that for your body , it makes you always ask for more , more muscles , more pumped veins , it’s a nature of humans =) we always ask for more, that’s why we have a famous quote in Egypt that says : “Conviction is an immortal treasure”

  14. Krystal says:

I have been told before that I “couldn’t” accomplish certain things (when I joined the military, a very negative person kept telling me I’d never make it through basic training, but I did!), and it was the best feeling to be able to prove those people wrong. I’ve taken some words to heart, and I figure I’m in “decent shape”, and this should be good enough… but I KNOW I can do better!! If I win this contest, I will use it to become the best I can be.

    Hi Vince,

First, that is one Smashin’ Awesome video there !!!

Reason can use MYM is simple Vince, to enjoy being sexier for my wife, while turning some heads too. However the best part, will be to inspire all us over 50 people that work full time, donate time to help others. Using MYM will take me to a level that currently in my dreams….and man o’ man I really want to make that a reality. From the first workout of your NNMB over a year ago have enjoyed the challenges along with progress.

However like all good things…it came to a halt. So then started imagining a program that can Kick A**, get results, while taking me to a level in health and muscle that will make me think I’m dreaming when I look in the mirror after showering. Then knowing I inspire my wife, kids, and others into kickin’ it.

Feel we CAN make our dreams real when we form a strong image of it in our minds, say it aloud, not whisper I mean ALOUD, then get off our back side and DO something about it. THat is what MYM will do for me in realizing my dreams as it is the key to unlocking this potential screaming to get out !!

Best to you and your new wife,
Best in Love and Life to you both !!!

  17. Piotr Biniek says:

Wanting to look and feel better than ‘average’ takes a lot more than just superficial benefits, and if anyone has taken their health, fitness and training seriously, they know it’s more important than just looks – it’s your life. And knowing that you are the master of your own destiny is powerful knowledge to have.

I was graced with this knowledge after completing 3 years of study in a field I thought i was born for. Unfortunately I was denied entry due to my lack of skill, but as fate would have it I was accepted days before commencement simply to ‘make up numbers’.

Over a three year period of hard work, late nights, and the mentoring of a lecturer, I denied the assessors their initial judgements and was one of only two students who became employed full-time doing what I’ve always wanted to do, even before graduating.

Currently training for 18 months now and like a mirror of my past, I have proved to others I can break free of my skinny genes, and teach myself what a healthy body can do for me physically, spiritually and mentally. Being graced with the knowledge that ANYONE can be the artist of the beautiful sculpture that is their body is a powerful knowledge to have.

But this is certainly just the beginning, and being aware of this power holds parallel in value to understanding that we are the masters of ourselves, if we wish and want to be.

  19. Andreas Androsch says:

I am 49 years of age and changed my physique the last 4 years from 108 kgs / 21% bodyfat to 92 kgs / 12% bodyfat doing weight lifting, running, cycling, swimming. So, the logic consequence was my participation in my first Ironman 70.3 last year. I also started an education for fitness trainer this year, ending in December 2010.

My vision for the next two years: becoming a sought after fitnes trainer and fitness speaker for the age-group 50+ (but the “some-kind-of-hard-core-fraction”, not the “power-walking” guys (and dolls). Finishing a complete Ironman. Hiking up to Uhuru peak (Kilimandjaro).

All this I want to achieve with my best body ever (95 kgs / 7% bodyfat). If you think, my dedication combined with your program will help me, please let me win! Thanks!

    Kind regards,
    Andreas

  20. After following your No Nonsense Muscle Building for Men program i went from being a (5.11″) 50kg boxer to being a 68kg ripped machine. I constantly learn and adapt my program by following your blog. I want to push my body even further with the next evolution of your program. I want to reach my goal of 80kg of lean muscle. Your program has given me the confidence and strength I have always wanted. I am a student with a tight schedule using your programs has helped me stay in the gym even during my tightest weeks and kept me motivated. You are a legend!!

  21. David Murphy says:

Being late to fatherhood (44 years old) presents enormous challenges when you are raising two children who are now 6 and 7 years old.
I need help to increase my fitness and overall strength to give my children the best chance in life and to also give me the chance to enjoy the pleasures children bring.
If I can’t keep up with them or challenge them physically how will they grow and develop properly. This system will give me the opportunity to enjoy life with my young children and make us both very happy with life.

  22. Ben J says:

It’s important to consider we live in a world containing approximately 8 billion occupants, therefore the norm may be great for some, however the quality of life attained from being situated in the great category must be aspired to.

I guess my journey to look better and ultimately become better began after my fiancée of the time decided to end our relationship suddenly. This was probably the hardest thing I had ever accounted in my young life at the time and it still really frustrates me. The worse thing about the whole experience was she was seeing another guy behind my back. I guess the only positive from the experience was at least I won’t be married to her.

Although I’m not to blame I still feel like I deserved it and now I need to offer someone more.
To keep with the relationship theme, my most recent x gf always commented on guys who were built whilst at the beach so that I guess is my motivation (maybe I have bad taste too haha).

To look greater than the norm will enable me to recapture the confidence I once possessed. I think everything in life that brings success comes back to being confident and backing your own ability. I’m currently still studying and single, however my fitness gives me added direction and something to strive for. I know I can be that guy that turns heads and I’m driven to make it happen no matter what.

The program will add direction to my fitness and I feel this is the most important area to fuel further success for me. I know, having a confident and happy son will also be beneficial for my parents and also enable my siblings to recognise the importance of fitness and how it can benefit their lives.

This program will give me the insight that enables me to look great on the outside. However it’s my belief that the program will have a flow on effect to all aspects of my life, which in turn means greater confidence, happiness and therefore success.

    Cheers

  23. Faiz says:

    Hi Vince!
I’m Faiz. I’m 21 and a final year student studying in University of Science Malaysia. As you can see, looking something greater than the norm is very important to me because it will elevate my life to whole new level. People will never look at you with the same thought again. Having a great body will lift your self esteem and confidence. You no longer need to be shy when talking to people because you are afraid their comments like “Ooh, look how skinny that guy is” or “That guy is as skin as a plywood”. Being a skinny fat guy is really really embarrassing for me. Often, after you had done eating you need to hold your breath when passing in front of the ladies because you don’t want them to see your secret belly fat. I’m sick of being a skinny fat guy. I want a complete transformation to my body. I feel embarrassed when I take my shirts off in front of my friends. All of my friends who have ripped bodies have better social life. They mix with other people confidently because everybody admire their bodies. They gain respect and compliment from people wherever they go. They even excelled in their studies. Well I’ve started lifting weights almost 2 years ago but have little to show. I’m frustrated by the bodybuilding magazines in the market because it doesn’t really teach you about bodybuilding but rather it is used as a platform to sell supplements – all of them useless. Robert Kiyosaki an investor that I really admire once said “If you want to go somewhere, it is best to find someone who has already been there”. I believe you had already been there, Vince and you know what it feels and you have the experience. You know the way for me to transform my body and my fortune. I put my full trust and believe in your MYM program to help me become a new me.

  24. Saxon Cameron says:

    Vince,

Socrates once said that “No one has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. What a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.”

In our world it seems like most people don’t appreciate what their bodies are capable of doing. This blog is a tribute to the thousands of skinny people and I think you would agree with me when I say that everyone here deserves to win, simply for having the initiative to find this blog and take the first step. Hell, when I started weight-lifting I was told that I didn’t have the genetics for it – or that I was too weak. I was only going to hurt myself, right? I was only going to be wasting my time, right?

Yeah right. The second you say no is the minute you won’t see any results. Vince, I want this so badly because I want to show myself what I’m capable of. I have strength of mind and the willpower to match; I am ready to start to build a future where I know that if the sky’s the limit, my footprints will be on the moon. Vince, if you give me this chance I will prove to you and to everyone that genetics aren’t there to limit you, but to separate you from those who aren’t prepared to work for what they deserve!

My name is Saxon and I’m 17 from Australia, thanks for taking the time to read.

  25. Hanjo says:

I love life and I love myself. My body is my temple – therefore I will feed it optimally and build it in the most precious way. What else should deserve more dedication than your body, your truest self? In an age where people build all kinds of material around them to make them happy short term – and fail in the longterm. Building the body of your dreams is something that you can not buy, but which fulfills longterm. A healthy body correlates with a healthy mind and a strong body correlates with a strong mind, in other words: a healthy & strong me.
Looking greater than the norm is really nothing special today – as the average is neglecting the needs of their body. But I want go beyond the body, that my friends and family would call great. I want to define greatness, for others as well as myself.
CREATING THE BODY OF MY DREAMS IS AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF LIVING THIS ONE LIFE THAT I AM BLESSED WITH ON EARTH TO FULLEST!

  26. carma burgess says:

for many years, i allowed myself to live the life i feared most…..one of mediocrity. i lived that way because i never dared dream i could have more than that, never dared dream i was worth more than *that*. when i look around me, it seems mediocrity is enough for most people, my family, friends……most are living their life a lie. in marriages and jobs that hold no passion for them, just existing, 50 pounds or more overweight, having long given up hope of a richly rewarding and fulfilling life. it’s like no-one believes that life could be…should be…..any different.

i am no inspiration to anyone i know. left an abusive and dangerously dysfunctional relationship 2 years ago. in my world, being single and alone at my age signifies failure. no-one applauds the strength and courage it took for me to leave a life that stripped me of my dignity each and every day, in ways both subtle and coarse. all anyone sees is that i am a failure, with no prospects of finding another man again at my age…..he was the best someone like me could get, and i was a fool to leave him, even if i had to endure ridicule and abuse on a daily basis. afterall…..it’s not like he physically beat me, or anything. (told to me by close family member)

i have a huge struggle ahead of me, in my quest to get in the best shape of my life. there will be no-one who will be happy for me, no-one who will be inspired by me when i succeed. there will be those who will try to sabotage my efforts, those who want to see me fail, because they can’t bear to look at the truth of their own lives. my leaving a bad relationship is something that irritates people i know, because to see the strength and courage it took for me to do it means they are forced to look at their own lives more honestly. and frankly, they prefer to remain in denial. life is easier that way, for them.

that is NOT the life i want anymore! won’t lie to you…..i don’t want to get in shape with the hopes of inspiring anyone i know. i refuse to live a life of denial anymore, and that’s what being out of shape, overweight and unhealthy is all about…..the outer manifestation of an inner landscape of denial, justification, rationalization, boredom, self hatred and anger. i’ve sabotaged my own life for too long by burying the anger i feel for not allowing myself to live up to my potential….instead i put all my effort into maintaining the status quo, never rocking the boat, all for the sake of the comfort and convenience of those around me who are afraid of their own potential, and cannot bear to see me live mine. i have swallowed, hoarded, supressed and repressed so many emotions, denied so many feelings, only to discover that these are the very ‘things’ that enslave me. these ‘things’….return to the surface in perverted and unhealthy forms, and my body is the reflection of all of it.

if i win a place in your group, i will offer you something in return…..something i believe is every bit as valuable as what you are offering with this contest. what i will pledge to you, is not only my commitment to following your program, but my commitment to sincerity and honesty in reciprocal participation. as fantastic as i think your program is, i know that i am the one that must be accountable. i’m the one that has to DO IT! and i know that without *going deep* within myself, facing everything inside i have supressed and repressed, purging the demons i carry about food and self worth….the stuff so many of us struggle with daily…that even a program like yours won’t work for me. but i can’t do it on my own either, for perhaps the first time in my life, i feel worthy of asking for help. it’s a big step for me, but after years of allowing myself to be the victim, i am ready and able, with the strength and courage it takes to say…i’m worth it. i promise to *stay*. and i need your help, will you help me?

i don’t know if i will be an inspiration to anyone, i have no magnanimous, altruistic desires…..i want this for me, and me alone. maybe it’s selfish to say so, and maybe i just killed any chance i have to win, but for me……just writing this letter, just asking for assistance, just stepping up to the plate and saying…..i’m worth it, i deserve this opportunity as much as anyone else does…..is a huge step forward in personal responsibility for my own life. i declare out loud and in your face, that I AM BIGGER than the limitations i’ve imposed on myself, and I AM READY to make better, smarter and more self-loving choices…..for ME!

if you’re gotten this far or if you haven’t….vince, flavia, thank you for reading it, and i trust that inspiration’s providence will guide you to choose the right winner(s). i’m gonna do this with or without your help, and i believe that everything happens as it should, and all is well and as it should be.

many thanks, i am grateful for the opportunity to be loud and proud for once in my life, in declaring my intentions to live the life i choose for myself, instead of settling for the paltry trappings of mediocrity.

    kindest regards,
    carma

  27. Drew says:

    Vince,
Beyond the obvious reason of wanting to be healthier, my goal in weightlifting is to sculpt my body in such a way as to stand out in my feld. I am an opera singer, a profession that has long suffered from the stereo-type that only “fat people” can be opera singers. I want to get good and ripped to give the world a new image of opera: a vibrant, healthy, muscle-popping image that’s exciting. I find Verdi, Puccini, and theItalian composers’ music highly exciting and emotional. I want to give people a visual image that matches it rather than the fat, old, stuffed-shirt image they seem to have now.
Tht is why I work diligently on the weights, that is why I find time to get in my workout on days where there doesn’t seem to be time; why I push myself to get that last rep of the last set; why I put on 2 1/2 more pounds to press my body into doing that little extra to encourage the growth. I have the goal in my sight and I am working to reach it. I’ve made big gains in the last year and I intend to keep making them until I have reached the cut look I need. Then I can unleash my vision, but I will continue to work in thegym even after that. Body building is just like singing opera: it is a striving for perfection that doesn’t cease. It’s a continuous growing toward something better and better and when one reaches a certain goal, he discovers there is so much more to be conquered and he smiles as he sees the beauty of the challenge.
    Bring it on…

  28. Cassundra says:

Hi I’m entering on behalf of my 19 year old son Caimen who is a sweetheart, with a desire to one day be a football player for AFL. He needs a good program and mindset to help him build some muscle and to keep his focus on his goal. He’s adorable and he is so open about checking himself out in all the windows and mirrors when ever he comes across his own reflection. Only thing is he doesn’t have much muscle to check out and its become a little bit of a joke now amongst friends and family…a fun joke mind you (we don’t tease him, just go with it ). I’d love him to do this program so he can have that body he dreams of every time he sees his reflection. Also I think it would give him a great foundation not just for his physical side but for his mental side. The discipline and dedication would help him to establish a great attitude and a good backbone for a healthier way of life in all areas. I find you Vince to be very motivational and the advise you give is very sound. I know my son Caimen is very keen to start a workout program with substance and I think your program would give him a great reflection inside and out

Whenever I hear, “It can’t be done,” I know I’m close to success. The world is moving so fast these days that the man who says it can’t be done is generally interrupted by someone doing it. Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all. I want to do something that peoplesay you can’t.

Confidence in knowing who I am and where I’m headed not letting others intimidate me or distract, influence my life negatively. One of my goals is to achieve a balanced life that includes faith, family, fitness, friends, finance and health. Achieving a healthy fit lean body will benefit family, friends, and acquaintances leading them by example, of how to live a balanced full filled life not waiting for a life altering experience to make lifestyle changes. Being the dad of three wonderful kids and five grand kids (possible more) I need to have the stamina, strength, and endurance to embrace life to the fullest extent possible and passing it on to them. Actually the aforementioned goal is six small plans rolled into a life long goal, Someone told me goals are set in stone and plans are set in sand; your plan or path may change but the goal is always the same. I may not have the promise of tomorrow but I need to plan like I do have that promise.

thank you for this opportunity to share some of my thoughts.

    Hey Vince,
I’m 21 years old and i’ve watched your videos and etc since I was 20. Thats too long to wait to get pro active and do something about it. I did have a membership at a golds gym, but ran out of money. I’ve never been happier with myself than when I’m working out and feeling the results even if they’re small starting to show after a few weeks. But no one has been able to help me get a consistent routine together with a decent food plan, so the results have faded. Im playin hockey and that keeps me fit, but my aspirations go beyond just being healthy and fit. I’ve always been made fun of for being the tall skinny guy like yourself a long time ago. I have ZERO confidence, dont like to admit it, but its true. I started to gain some of it back when i was putting on mass. its gone now, so back to the starting gate. You’d be surprised how when one things improves, everything else seems to follow. Thats the level of happiness that Id like to get to again. Not just trying to achieve better muscles, but a better life. Im not the average joe, but im not super joe. I appreciate you giving this opportunity,

I am 19, and from Georgia and go to college. I have been working out for about 3.5 years, but you would never guess it. Im tired of working hard and not seeing the results. Im tired of it, the low confidence, not alot of respect for myself or others, little luck with the ladies.

I want a program thats going to get me where I want to be both physique, confidence and socially. My goal is 190 pounds, 10%bf, and I will do whatever it takes to get there. I hope that my changes can inspire my dad and friends to really improve themselves. I want to do the impossible and change my body from something im ashamed of to a personal pride.

I have always been in ok shape and very active. I want to be better and I know I can be. I have no trouble devoting the time and energy needed to give it my best – I think I just need the proper guidance.
I have three young children and a fantastic husband. Being fit makes me feel better and in turn, strengthens my relationship with my family because they feel my confidence.
Now that I turned 40, I want to take it up a notch. I want to develop strength, muscle definition and endurance. I want to prove to myself and everyone else that there’s always time to improve.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

I am 42 from Malaysia. Being Asian certainly not doing me any favours in terms of physical size and stature. Genetics probably has dealt me an even more cruel blow as I have basically narrow shoulders and trunk. A bulging tummy makes the whole package even more depressing. I have started to go to the gym for more than a year now but have made so little progress. I would make gains and lose it in 2 weeks and so there is not much to show for all the work that I have done in the last year and a half or so. Body fat still hovers around 20% without any change. It is really frustrating to weigh yourself and not see any change. So I want to turn my life around. I want a great body. I want help to lift me up from my miserable body. I want to be able to see myself fit and muscular for my age and not look at other great and fit bodies with such envy. I want to lift my self-esteem and make me able to stand with my head held high when people comment how great I look. I want a breakthrough in my life. I want to break my Asian limit. So help me achieve the transformation of my entire life and be an inspiration to people in my part of the world! I know i can with your help, Vince!

    Hey Vince,

I started exercising a couple years ago when I started university (like most students do). I started working out at 5’6 125 lbs. While most of my friends quit going to the gym half way through first semester, I continued because I was dedicated to banishing the label “skinny” stuck to my forehead. I hit a plateau right before my second semester started and that’s when I went searching for answers. I found your NNMB program and purchased it because it sounded right for me. I’ve done the beginner program and advanced program of NNMB and now want to step it up a notch when I return to university this month.

The main reasons I want a body above the norm is because I want to look and feel good, be a role model for others and to have something to show for all my hard work. On top of that, I really want to inspire my brother to strive to follow in my exercise path since he is very skinny for his age and height. I feel without a body to show for, all my exercise advice is worthless since I can’t prove that it works.

With MYM, I can achieve a body otherwise impossible. I want to be greater than average because I wasn’t put on this earth to follow the crowd and only grow as far as my genetics will take me. I want to push past the boundaries and become someone nobody else would have ever imagined.

    Thanks for you time,

I remember in high school buying the new Muscle and Fitness each month and knowing one day I could look like Barry DeMay. I joined the football team and later the Army but I never did achieve the massive gains like the body builder I idolized.
I realize today I do not have the genetics to be a Barry Demay. What I do have though is the genetics to be as fit as I possibly can. I can still have the athletic build and not be overly huge.
Here I am at age 38 and I think I am in good shape but still I know I can achieve so much more. I have looked at the MYM site many times over the past year and finally I decided to pull the trigger and become a member last week. I have a wonderful girlfriend who supports me in everything I do and this also has given me the edge I have longed for. It always helps to have someone believe in you.
I want a better body not only for myself, but also for her. Who doesn’t want to look good for the person they share a life with? I want to go to the beach with her and have people heads’ turn when they see me. I want to be in the shape I know I can be and when people ask me how old I am and I tell them 38 I want to see those jaws drop.

  40. Roy Maharshi says:

    Who am I?

I am 31, 5-10, 155. (Used to be anywhere between 168-180, with lots of fat)

    1. Growing up as an adopted kid, I wanted to make my family happy. Hence, I persuaded a field that I did NOT like. Unhappiness, discontent and uncomfortable with my body, I would eat sweets 24/7.

    2. Losing my fiance to sudden demise (while we were in the process of adopting a kid), followed by numerous health issues – kidney stones, tendonitis, dislocated left shoulder brought me to a stage in my life where I lost a will to live.

    What Changed?

    1. I ran into your NNMB, followed by John Roman and Joel Marion’s online training materials. I decided I want to give life another shot.
    2. I started with Joel Marion’s XFLD in May 2010. I did ALL workouts out of my garage!!!
    3. By grace of God, I was chosen for the 2nd place in this wonderful worldwide competition.
    4. This gave me the will to live again. I discovered my passion…to change my mind and my body.
    5. And to teach everyone around me, work with them to help them reach their goals with them.

    My goals?

    1. I LOVE to teach. If I can have transformed my body and life, anyone can do it. I feel like screaming from the mountain tops that I have a second chance at life and this time I want to learn, give back and TEACH everyone I know…how to transform their mind, body and hence….their lives!
    2. I want to adopt 4 kids and to be able to give them 100% of myself. To be a great parent to them, I need to be who I was meant to be.
    3. And finally for the FIRST time in my life, I know what I want to do with my life and what my true passion is.
    4. Some modeling and stage acting contracts have come my way after XFLD.
Next goal is to build muscle, and MYM could NOT have come at a better time to help me reach my dreams.
Thank you God, Thank you Vince for being you !!!

At 48, I need to make a conscious effort to take care of my body, for my family and for my own sake. With the natural slowing of my metabolism and the higher tendency to skip workouts… A plan and a support community are needed to reach the desired goal.

Health is the primary yet not the only objective. As a professor and consultant I am always in the public eye and that also pushes me to look better than the norm. Finally, I like practicing active sports and looking better than the norm will help me exel in my mountain biking, tennis, and scuba diving!

  42. Shwinn says:

    Shwinn from Cambridge, MA

Seeing the “jacked” look as a way to assert dominance over others, many people crave big muscles to impose a menacing aura, impress their friends, or just pick up women. Personally, I never wanted any of that.

When I started lifting weights my sophomore year in high school, I was dedicated to using any newfound strength primarily for playing varsity basketball and one day dunking on a 10 foot rim. I regret not sustaining this initial interest, as I began to over-prioritize my academics before anything else.

However, this academic route eventually lead me back to my athletic origins, as I started working in an anti-aging research lab. The endless possibilities in life extension a few decades from now gave me that wake-up call I needed. I returned to hitting the weights with an invigorated “longevity” mantra firmly ingrained inside my mind and have been returning to the level of conditioning I was at nearly 4 years ago.

Most people want a certain look and live a certain life a certain way before they die. Call it selfish, but I want to look, feel, and live healthy for the sake of living even longer! As a 20 year old, 6’0 190 lb student, I feel that now is the perfect time to take advantage of my energy as well as my vastly improved health awareness in achieving this goal. My greater-than-norm motivations and expectations of life explain my desire for a body type that matches this attitude.

  43. Ann says:

Hi. After reading so many entries, I am sure that you are… at this point… just skimming through the rest. Let me tell you Vince about me. I have never considered myself a quitter, but the truth is that with my body image sometimes I do feel like quitting. I am college educated, a hard worker and a go getter…except when it comes to my physical health. I don’t know why getting into shape has been so tough for me.

I am 41 and have 3 kids. I am in a very unhappy relationship, with no social support. I know that is not an excuse for being over weight and out of shape. But the last time I felt decent about myself was several years ago. My spirit doesnt match my body image. I feel like deep down I am a different person than what other people see…. they just can’t get past what they see.

I am tired…of trying to balance everything alone. I need help from someone like you, Vince. I am almost at the point in my life where I am ready to give up expecting something better for myself.

Maybe I didnt say the exact things that you expected to hear to make my words jump out at you, but I know you can help me.

    Thanks for reading this,

I have the dedication and the desire to maximize my potential both inside the gym as well as outside the gym. I like to work hard and perservere so that I can get all of the attention and respect in the end of it all. I want the ladies to drool over me and the men to be super jealous of me because of the destiny that I plan to pursue to go beyond leaps and bounds of my current potential. I believe in myself enough to maximize my gains in the gym to have a phenomenal physique that will keep me healthy and have a great lifestyle for years to come! I know that my offspring will benefit from me being in such great shape and I want that same potential for my children as well to be healthy as well as fit. I know that through it all there will be roadblocks…there will be pain….there will be sacrifices….but all the pain roadblocks and sacrifices aren’t going to stop me from maximizing my potential otherwise why the heck would I be posting this here in the first place right? The word quit isn’t in my vocabulary and this is a golden opportunity to prove to myself as well as others that have doubted me. This is an opportunity I will not sleep on. I have the adrenaline rush inside of me…. Like a caged animal that has yet to be unleashed of his full potential. The rage like the incredible hulk that’s hungry for a big opportunity like this. I will not stop…I will not quit! I always go by a motto “Beat me if you can…. But beating me down only makes me stronger of the elite that guide my path to destiny” My destiny is here! It’s MY time to shine!

  45. Jim Adamson says:

On numerous occasions, I have had family, coworkers, and complete strangers ask me for training advice. Generally it’s because I’m a “big guy” that they know “works out”. But I want to be more than that. I want not only my experience to be inspirational, I want my physique and my work to be inspirational. The accomplishments of so many others, including yourself Vince, lights a fire in me and propel me in the gym. I want to be that inspiration for those around me. So many of us in the 21st century are taking the easy way out, and paying the price physically, emotionally, and mentally. But I want my family and friends to see me as a model of what smart, hard work can accomplish. I want to help them, whether through direct experience or simple inspiration, to better their own health, and ultimately improve their lives.

The effort I have put in over the past 10 years training, planning, dieting, sacrificing, pushing has paid me back one hundred fold. My overall life has been greatly enhanced by living a fitness lifestyle. The physical results have been very satisfying but not tremendous. However, I’ve always felt somewhere deep inside myself is the ability to put it all together and improve even more. I believe I can achieve the best physique of my life. A physique that not only will I be proud of, but will spur others to get off the couch and get moving.

    Hey Vince,

I am a 40 year old father who is married with two young children. I’m 5’9″ with a 145lb. frame with a pair of chicken legs for walking. I have been made fun of and taken advantage of all of my life because of my size even to this day. I have tried everything in my power to bulk up with foods and working out, but to no avail.
I want to be confident in my physique to not be ashamed of the way that I look and not to be the brunt of people’s cruelty. I have put forth every effort to exercise correctly and eat the correct foods with precise detail and want to see the benefits. It is very discouraging to not see the results that I’m looking for.
I am eager to propel my life forward with a new physique. I don’t want this to just benefit me, but I want to pass on the information to those that may be struggling with the same issues. I want to be an example to others that it can be done.
Thank you Vince for promoting this contest.

  48. Joseph Carlson says:

    Hi Vince,
The main reason I really want to win this program is because I am going into the personal training/physical therapy field and I’m not in what you’d say the “poster boy” shape I need to be in. I have actually NEVER been in good shape in my life, since I was a kid I’ve been overweight, and I am literally doing EVERYTHING I can to get into shape. I’d say I’m below avg at 6’1″, 205 w/ about 15-17% bf. I NEED to know what I can achieve and how I can feel both in my confidence and in my health and I have complete faith that this could do it for me. I want to have the knowledge and the body to be able to inspire people as you do and then help THEM reach their best. Thanks for your consideration Vince.
    Joe

  49. Dana Majack says:

Vince, I’m sure the most common answer to you is self confidence. In my case I have the self confidence but lack in the knowledge to get the job done ( a better body). The only way I would deserve a better body would be through hard work and dedication. I don’t believe I deserve it, I want to earn it! It would only change my life through the journey of gettin it done. I would then help others achieve there goals also, whether it would be a better body or concurring their mountains in life. This is where the self confidence comes from. Accomplishing your own goals. Thanks for the opportunity Vince.

    Dana

  50. Tristan says:

    Hey Vince,

I’m not sure if you know what it’s like to be a freshman in highschool if your 6’2″ 150. With a bigger and stronger body I would be much more confident within my highschool. Having acne and getting made fun of for it doesn’t help much either. I’m hoping this program will help me regain my confidence and I will be able to show up my varsity coach who recently told me I cant be on varsity as a freshman because i’m too small even when i’m the second leading scorer. Really, i just want to be happy and not so sad all the time. With a new body i hope to achieve respect from the upperclassman i should deserve and to make varsity as a freshman to show everyone who doubted me they were wrong. Even my parents doubted me which is morally depressing, so I hope you will remember back to the days when your were once skinny, and remeber what is was like to have no respect for yourself or others.

  51. Tom Heath says:

I’m Tom, I’m 17 and I live in Brighton, England.

I workout because I want to be the best I can.

People I speak to all seem to want different things from working out; better image, better at sports, better health but to me that all comes down to one goal that we all share. To be the best.

I have been working out for 2 years now and I started because I was sick of being average, living life on auto-pilot. I wanted to break the boundries, exceed expectations, for people to sit up and take notice. I originally joined my gym to get a ripped physique but found that my dedication led to all sorts of other successes, including at school.

Working out gives me the confidence, patience, motivation and dedication to achieve all of my goals in life and I think your programme is the best means of getting me there. Thanks

  52. Craig says:

    Greetings Vince and fellow fans

We all have dreams. We all have aspirations, whether we realise this or not. The people we admire the most, are those who stand out the most, and we’re naturally inclined to follow them. Why should we then, settle for anything less than the best?

I’m a 20 year old student from Cape Town, South Africa. Yes, I am skinny. I have been all my life, and I’ve always wanted to be bigger. And with these dreams have come my efforts, and as with all of my dreams, it’s always been to be right at the edge of what’s possible, and even beyond.

The very people we admire are at the very edge of what’s possible, why admire someone like Vince Delmonte if you don’t want it yourself?

Our heroes have only just paved the way for us to walk, their very existence proves to us that their feats are not only possible, but that we can supercede them.

Why do I want to look something greater than the norm? Because these are the people and ideas that motivate us, everyday, to do our best. Why not go for gold and take the whole cake?

Who knows, perhaps soon I’ll be inspiring others to push towards the edge, or even do just a little better than they’re doing at that moment. That, along with looking and feeling greater than the norm, is the greatest feeling one could have.

  54. Jose R. Badilla says:

Good afternoon everyone. The main reasons why i want to get this program are basically two. Talking about the present I’m 31 yrs old and i have always wanted to see this 6 lines crossing my abdominal part and have an athletic appearance. it could sound superficial but is not making an integral balance about all the benefits from a strong and healthy body. This affirmation are confirmed and supported by all the medicine field: Longer life, heart attack prevention, wealth, self confidence among the principal ones.Healthy bodies goes back to ancient Greece where those ancient cultures respected and had the bodies they deserved. why we can not have those accomplishments nowadays? beyond having just merely a nice and attractive body i see it from the overall benefits it will bring in the upcoming future. In my country ( Costa Rica) the life expectancy is 76 yrs old. but i want to live more and by doing that i need to work and adopt a lifestyle that goes in harmony with that goal. Genetics is something that can benefit some people in the sense that there some parameters imposed by the society about the definition of beauty, but this is not an excuse for not working out and enrolling this new lifestyle that will cause only benefits in our lives. At the moment we think that something is not possible we are losing the race already. we need the right motivation which is in my opinion the principal reason why people fail in this kind of programs because the general internal comment is: no i can not do it, is not for me, I don’t have the genetics etc.training is not difficult or eating the right foods and combinations the main reason is Lack of Motivation.I wish a very good luck to all the people who is participating in the contest, i wish you the best and remember that there is no limits for our minds just believe and imagine yourself enjoying the retribution for your hard work.Hard work will never fail.

  55. Daniel says:

    Hi Vince!

I’m a 35 year old guy with a wife and 3 beautiful kids. Ever since high-school I’ve been working out but never gained muscles. Probably because I haven’t got the knowledge or devotion to go all the way. And when I look back I haven’t believed 100% in the programs I’ve tried and for that reason quit when the results was small or never came.

In the begining of this summer I used the Xtreme fat loss diet and made really good fat loss results (10kg). I proved to my self that results come if I have a good program that I believe in and if I stick to it.

I also got a taste of MYM as a bonus and now when I’m ready to take on an even bigger challange, gaining muscle mass I’m absolute convinced that MYM is the right program for me.

Finally, this program must be unique in that sence that it does not only want to help you with the physic but also in other areas in life. So I would not only be looking forward to grow physicly but also grow as a human being with a mind, body and soul.

  56. Dan says:

    Vince,
I want this program cos I’m sick of not being notice, with girls, with sport everything. I want to be know as the big man or strong or someone with a hot as body. And I believe you can get me from being a 6 foot 4 skinny dude to 6 foot 4 tank! By doing this I won’t only be able change my life but I believe I will inspire my brothers and other family members into working out and changing there lifes into something better. If you give me this chance I will put 110% into it, I have been known for never giving up even if all odds are agaisnt me and I promise you I will never ever give up.
    Thanks Dan from Aus

    Hey Vince

I was fat not too long ago. Well i am still carrying some fat on me currently but i am now looking to pack on some good muscle and crank up the weights in the gym.

Obviously i am looking to pack on muscle to look good, feel good and inspire others around me to do the same, especially my wife. I mean what’s better than living and looking like the couple who really mean business when it comes to health and the looks. It might even inspire other couples to do the same knowing we are no celebrities or no fitness models but just want to look good for each other and ourselves.

I reckon it takes 1 spouse to lead the family to a healthy happy life and the perfect couple in terms of physique. Currently i am that person but i wish to speed up the process and achieve the results even quicker then i am at the moment.

I achieved alot in terms of health and fitness in this past year and can assure you of my dedication to achieving the body i so desire. I don’t think i will disappoint you with the results as well.

    Bring It On!!

  59. Hey vice, my name is Gabriel Vorbeck.
I’m a 15 yeard old guy, and I’m currently living in Ecuador with my grandparents, since my whole family is in Manila, Philippines.
I’ve been playing soccer in a club’s youth squad as a sub, and I’ve also been practicing in a team from the neighborhood in the neighborhood’s league. In my team of the youth club, I’m basically the ‘team’s bitch’. I always have to collect all the soccer balls after training, pick up the cones, and in addition, everybody picks on me, just because I’m a bit chubby. On my other team, the neighborhood team, we play with people from all ages. Well guess what, I HATE it when all the adults call me ‘the fat turtle’ just because I’m chubby and I can’t run that fast.
well, I’ve decided it’s time to change things around here. I deserve RESPECT. I deserve a spot in the starting team. With your MYM program for 12 months, I can stay motivated since you always send a new part of the program every month, I can completely change my body from being the ‘team bitch’ to the team captain, and not only that. I can finally get scouts to notice me and I can amplify my dream of playing in the English Premier League.
I’m ready to take a huge step closer to my dream. Vince, please help me.

I know the package that comes with being muscular, the girls, the looks in the street, the ego boost, the self confidence, i’ve seen it. But what is hard to put into words is the feeling…the very feeling when ive reached a place i want to be for myself. To stand tall and proud and say. ” i’ve got what i want out of life, follow my dreams and the rest will follow me.” whether or not this MYM gift ever happens, I’l get to where i want to be one way or another, there is not such word as can’t in my life, never has. Never will.

Hello my fellow bodybuilders in training. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bill Krosby from Kentuck, Alabama, and although I speak with a southern accent, hopefully you will not be able to notice it during this post. I am the father of 17 beautiful children and am also married to my lovely wife, Zelda of 22 fabulous years. Bodybuilding has always been a personal goal of mine as I’ve strived for excellence ever since I was 13 years old working out with hay bales on my family’s farm. Since then I’ve worked out every day, in order to prove everyone wrong and find great confidence within myself. Thanks to everyone and have a great labor day tomorrow as I will still be working at WalMart as door greeter.

  62. Lindsay King says:

I want to look like something greater than the norm so that my colleagues will realise there is a difference between being slim and being in great physical condition with muscle definition. My work colleagues always comment that l can eat lots and do not get fat. l eat healthily and exercise so logically l am slim but that doesn’t mean l am in great shape. l want to show the women l work with that my slim body that they envy is far from perfect and if l can change it through your fitness program so can they.

I also hope to help my brother who has lost a lot of weight realise he is not fat anymore – he just needs to tone up!

What does the program mean to me? As an aspiring personal fitness instructor it would give me the confidence to follow my dream. Being a woman has caused some people to mock my dream – they claim the fitness industry is for men only and l have no place in it. I am going to prove them wrong. I am not a quitter.

  63. Kirk White says:

    Vince,
I live by a philosophy I call the power of “One” compounded. It’s based on choosing one thing to focus on until you make it a habit and then choosing the next “One” thing to focus on. Eventually, that string of “One” thing adds up to great changes. I have had great success using this philosophy to get my body fat below 10%. However, I feel my next “One” thing should be to add some serious muscle. Based on the results, Gino, one of your success stories was able to achieve. I have no doubts this program is exactly what I need to ensure success with my next “One” thing. I have always wanted to be more than just average and all my hard work has only taken me to average. I have all the desire in the world and my work ethic is hard to match. Couple that with the amazing workouts you have put together and that could be a scary combination for supercharged muscle growth. Please help this average Joe go to super ripped.

    Thanks,

    Hi Vince
As I grow up I see more reasons for me to accomplish my goal in becoming muscular and fit more than the average. I have discovered it resembles your personality like being a hard worker and that you are committed to your goals. This is very helpful in many other aspects of your life, like business and relationships.
Another reason is that you can be a source of inspiration for other people. At this stage I am not so much of it because even though I train hard and being committed, my friends that are over weighted with bad lifestyles say: “If you can’t do it, think of me! I will never be able to get fit and muscular, even if I train a lifetime. You have to have the genes to do it, just quit man it’s not worth it”
Imagine if I did become as I wanted, how would this have an impact on them in a positive way.
It also affects my psychology. I say many times “If I can’t build muscle with all that effort maybe I am not good enough” It hurts your confidence and affects other areas of life too.
When I bumped on you online a couple of months ago I said “Just another scam!” But as month’s past, by reading all your newsletters and watching all of your youtube videos, I gained trust into you. This is not about 800$ it’s about sacrificing 12 months of your life on training as you say. 12 months of training is invaluable. This is the hard part. To give you 100% trust. I read your 12 anabolic target report did my research and yes I believe. I trust you 100% that you can blow beyond my genetic potential.

  66. Thats a good question, that anybody must feel and then asnwer it.If you care your body and mind then you have the balance that you need to succeed in your life and make your dreams come true.I am a medicine Student,I must study all the time,I pass my exams but I see, when I dont do my fitness I am not feeling well,I think something is missing. Making fitness is very important because you show to yourself and the others that you care for your body, for your health…that the most important for me.Another reason is because you are full of confidence..just think about it..you have a great body ..you are going to the beach and everyone looking at you especially the girls…whats the feeling after this???You feel confident and you think you can do everything you want to do or need to. So looking something greater then the norm means for me for confidence and balance between mind and body,so succeess in your goals in you life with the improvement of your Healt.

  67. Kamal says:

    Hi Coach !

I’m KAMAL from Uzbekistan ( Central Asia).
In fact your free articles and newsletters are enough for building muscle for me. They’ve already helped me to change my body and lifestyle.
I didn’t get the desired results yet but I’m progressing everyday.
    I have only ONE AIM:
    - To show people:
    1) Muscle can be built naturally, at any age , even without any supplements ( We don’t have supplement stores therefore people think it’s impossible to build muscle)
    2) To make bodybuilding popular among local people and involve girls as well.
It’ll be done by raising the concsiousness of people about bodybulding.

First I’ll transform my body by which I’ll be able to assure people that it’s POSSIBLE. Principles are the same , conditions are different.

    Thank you very much!

  68. Oleg says:

    Hello Vince!

    Who am I:
I am a Russian guy from Israel, I have been working out since age 12 made many mistakes, very stupid mistakes, I have a chipped tooth to prove what kind.

Anyway, I have always loved to workout, when I feel tired from a workout it was always the best feeling in the world, other guys might complain but I usually pushed myself, its a kind of self torture that I like to do.

At the moment I weigh about 64 kilos and am about 170 cm tall, you’d think that I would weight more with all these years of working out but this is a frustration of mine.

    My motivation:
A few years back I got into a fight, it was not the most pleasent thing to experience, I ended up damaging my wrists and got an operation after that.

After that I started to take fitness more seriously, I started to workout not just because I like the feeling but to also be able to stand up for myself.

My main motivation is to be able to scare off people or REALLY beat a guy up so he wakes up in a hospital if he has the guts to start with me. I don’t want to sugarcoat it, this is my real reason, of course I also want to attract more girls and be able to protect them.

The last thing I want is to be unable to protect a girl if a group of guys jumps us while we take a walk outside in the evening, this is a very real fear, I saw a recording of that actually happening to a couple, it was filmed with a hidden camera.

The other guys here are very idealistic with their goals and I respect that but I gotta admit that my goals are a bit darker, I want more then just to “look good”, if this means I don’t apply for Maximize Your Muscle I will accept that.

    Thank You!
    Oleg

  69. John Katsaros says:

    Hey Vince,

I want to look like something greater than the norm because I have always been below the norm muscle wise for my height. I was always the skinny kid and I don’t want to be known as the skinny man. I feel that I deserve a better body because I have worked hard at building muscle with nothing to show for it since my first gain in muscle when I was 17.

I am a father and 23 now and I do not want my son to grow up seeing his dad as skinny and weak. It would like him to look at me and think wow that is my dad.

If I had a better body than the norm I would not only be a role model to my son and others for what being fit is. I would also strive to live my life to the best of my ability to be a role model in all aspects other than fitness.

It is important for me to look and feel better than just average for my son and my wife. I would be the husband and father that they deserve because I would have more confidence.

I would also have the knowledge and the outright joy in proving all the people wrong who said; “You will always be skinny and weak.” I will be able to tell my son with belief that he can overcome anything even his genetics and neigh-sayers.

  70. Sorry but in my previous comment i forgot to say that i’m from the Netherlands.

  71. Hey Vince,
I really think you’re doing the best thing one can do: changing people’s lives and making them happy again. I want to do something like you do but not your way. Let me tell you how i want to do it.

I want to become a magician. Yes, you heard that right. A magician. Why? It’s because of the fact that a magician can give the gift of joy to a person. It’s really unbelievable how some simple magic can turn some of the grumpiest and oldest people into 5-year old kids again. They experience that joy, that amazement and that laughter that they had balled up inside because of all the problems they have in life today. And all that because of a simple card trick.

I’m still an amateur but i have done some tricks. And when i saw that could make people smile, give them joy and let them forget their worries for a little while then that really gave me a wonderful feeling.
Im quite shy but to make my magic more powerful i need to have lots of confidence.

So i want to look greater than the norm because a better body will make me a lot more confident and that can strongly increase my magic. With my magic i want to bring joy to as much people as possible. My loved ones, my friends and the people i meet everyday. Just everybody.

I truly believe that everybody needs a little magic in their lives.

  72. Jeff Maughan says:

I used to look at the world and say “I can’t”
I used to be insanely jealous of the people who had what I was too scared to get
Now I want to think to live you must be strong
Now I want to think to be strong you must work hard
Now I want to think to work hard you must have faith
With this I can say “Life has no more thrilling emotion than of primitive human pride in a strong man standing in his strength.”

  73. Juan Carlos Valdes says:

If I had a penny for every time someone told me “Juan, you can’t get big and ripped… you’re Mexican.” I would be very rich. Setting goals and breaking them has been a big part of my life.

I am proud of the things that I have accomplished being an international student in a Texas school comprised of 90% white people. However, I have not been able to break through my genetics and have the body of my dreams. I am an active person and love to play soccer and other sports but no matter how much exercise I engage, my belly does not disappear and look like an average “Mexican.”

Having a great body is not only one of my greatest dreams and goals for selfish reasons and to be able to brag about it. Being able to accomplish and break this goal will mean the world to me because I can prove that I do not have to be the typical short and stubby Mexican and that I can go beyond my genetics. Also, since this has been one of my biggest goals that I have not yet accomplished, being able to get a great body will be inspiring to fight for un-imaginable dreams that seem impossible and that I would never even try.

I know this program is no easy task, but I am a perseverant and hard working guy willing to go beyond everything to get there.

    Good luck to everyone,
    Juan Carlos Valdes – Mexico

I would like to look better and better since I have a pet project in mind. I am currently 69 years old and I would like my success to be an inspiration to senior citizens who unfortunately here in Mexico are generally in a very poor state of health, overweight etc. like I was in recent times.
I want to dedicate myself to inspiring these people to better their situation and using my case as an example to convince them that it is possible to obtain a great physical state and excellent health.

  75. Iordache Adrian Ionut says:

‘The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to achieve, to conquer!’ It’s what Arnold said, and it completely resonates with my own mindset. We humans don’t know why we’re here, but I like to think life is a test and to pass, you have to live your life the best way you can, to achieve your potential and perhaps to inspire others. I’m 19, I’m going to college this year and I want to shine. Long story short, I want to stand out, attract girls, make friends, feel good about myself, enjoy life and this is going to happen ONLY if I’m happy with my own body!
I know for sure the decisions I’m going to make now will stay with me for the rest of my life, and I wanna be so MUCH MORE than the average, I want to impress with my body, my knowledge, my achievements, make my family proud, make a name for myself, be successful.

I discovered that at the core of all that stays someone who is focused on what he wants, who doesn’t drink or smoke, doesn’t eat junkfood, doesn’t party too much etc. Bodybuilding and the lifestyle it triggers are the best thing to start with, the #1 you can put at the foundation of the man you wanna become! It keeps you motivated, makes you stick to your plan, follow the rules, it Guarantees PERFORMANCE on all levels! That’s why I got involved into weight training for almost 1 year and with MYM I intend to become truly serious about it.

MYM will jump start my future, opening a world of possibilities. I may never look like you, Vince, or do as well as you did in life, but I’ll definitely go for it, I’m young and I’ve nothing to lose. MYM will show me how to build my dream body, and from there I’ll get the mental power to overcome any obstacle and eventually pass the test.

    Wish you all the best,
    Adrian, Romania

Thank you Vince for the opportunity to win such an incredible prize.
A bit of background first. I drank, I smoked and I wasn’t interested in studying. Before that I actually was a remarkable athlete. I needed to change. It all came with a shift in mentality. I identified five areas which needed to be addressed: Mental, Physical, Financial, Spiritual, Lovelife. This was the blue print based on witch I started to design a new life. The result defied the logic of my old friends: I gave up smoking, drinking and graduated the University of Architecture. At the age of 25 I became a project manager in a powerful company but something was still missing. I felt that for a sharp mind you need an even sharper body. Went back into the gym with 59 kg at 1,72 cm. After a year I am at 71,5 kg with a little above 10% bodyfat and getting ready for my first competition this month. I am in the best shape of my life and I will not stop. I can’t stop. It was tough. But being tough inspires. I am currently helping three friends achieve their fitness goals. Do I have the time? I gave up tv.
At the end I would like to thank the man that gave me the spark to change my body. Vince, that’s your Skinny Vinny story. Thank you! You truly are one of the best out there. Keep it up and congratulations on getting married.

  77. Mikey says:

Last year i started playing for the senior rugby team at my school. And i cant tell you how terrible it feels to be sat on the bench during games because i simply havn’t got the mass i need to play my position. I’ve tried dozens of mass building programmes but none seem to work. I really put all my effort into one this summer, training 4 days a week, keeping a diary, eating right and i think i even lost weight!

Not only do i want to gain mass for rugby, i want to get bigger and fitter to inspire the rest of my family, especially my dad, whos just started smoking again. to get healthier. I hope that if he sees me making huge gains, maybe he will be motivated to kick his habit.

So i’d like the oppurtunity to try your programme because i know it will provide the tools for great gains and not just time wasted in the gym.

    All the best

  78. Leland Sanchez says:

    Vince,
Simple reason why I want to look better than the norm. I was always and still am the fat kid. One day about 2 yrs ago I got sick of it joined a gym and was determined to lose weight. I worked for the first few months where I lose 60 lbs in 4months. Now a year and a half later I have not lost any more weight! I have tried to visit with personal trainers and 1 nutritionist. I get the same answer…… They claim I do not have the genetics to get any skinnier. I would love o lose another 40 lbs to become a healthy sized person.
The other reason that this would help me is to show people that there is no limits to what you can do as long as you are willing to work for it.

    Thank you for the opportunity,
    Leland Sanchez

  79. Kumar Gupta says:

The reason I want to have a great body and look better than the norm is because I want to show people what’s possible. Possible to go beyond their limits, especially genetic. See, growing up, I felt very out of place at times, and noticed that people were stuck in a “box” so to speak. Every time I would say something extraordinary, they would say something like “that’s not possible”, or “in your dreams buddy!” or “please be practical”. And this mentality not only came from family, but some of my friends as well. But at the back of my mind, I knew it was possible to think big, and achieve those goals, no matter how far fetched they seem.

So essentially, my goal is to look greater than the norm and have a great body because not only does it give me greater self-confidence, freedom, and happiness, but to really reflect this state onto others so that they believe it’s possible and feel inspired to take action. I want to show them that there is a life outside of their comfort zone, and their normal ways of thinking, and that if they SEE first, that they can in fact, achieve their goals.

I also think the more of us that can come together to really break through our own limitations (whether genetic or mental), the more we can collectively change the perceptions of others. In the end it’s not just about “looking” better, but realizing how powerful we really are if we just believe in greater possibilities, and take action on it.

I’ve always been passed off as an ordinary guy, not worth having a second glance at. At the cafe which I study every day, the pretty girl beside me never even notices I’m there. When I go to clubs with guys, I’m never seen as one of the popular ones. I’m sure you know how it feels, to have friends who’re popular, confident and have ripped abs while you’re just “the other guy”, Vince. That picture of you and your friends where you were the only one without abs – that’s me as well. I started lifting seriously for strength 2 years back and put on some decent size, but I’m still not muscular or defined. Girls tell me I should impose my personality more, but I just don’t have the self-confidence. I hope every night that one day I’ll become this ripped, muscular alpha-male who actually dares to express himself. But at 170cm and 128Ibs, how is that possible?

I read your clients’ results and have been following your blog for quite some time. By no means am I a beginner, but I want to say “eff that” to my genetic potential. This year is a big one for me – my A Level college exams are at the end of the year and I’m already 19. I want to pick up that girl and I want to show people that I can be confident. I want to make things happen now. I hope you will give me this chance.

  82. Carrie Hedstrom says:

    Vince,
I am a 32-year-old mother of FIVE children under the age of 9. Through diet, weightlifting (using a lot of your techniques) and endurance triathlon training I have finally gotten my body CLOSE to what I was before I had children. But I am having a really hard time with the last 10 lbs of body fat, mainly around my midsection. Part of me says, “You’re getting older, you look good for having five kids, this is as good as it is going to get.” But there is another voice saying, “No. It’s not over, you are only 32, you don’t have to settle for good enough, you don’t have to ‘look good for having 5 kids’ you CAN look good, period.” I want to believe the second voice so badly. And your words of blowing past my potential, blowing past the limits I place on myself, really speak to me. And I don’t just want to be a little skinny girl. I want to be strong and ripped. I want my abs to show, I want to intimidate my other triathlete competitors with my lean muscular body, I want to be strong and healthy for my kids, a good role model to my boys and my daughter, a Hot Wife for my husband, and mostly I want to prove to myself and my stubborn body that it isn’t time to kick back and turn into my mom. I spent my 20′s having kids, and now in my 30′s, it’s time to Shine.

Now im 19 and my body look very small i am sick of it. I want huge body and because i want to look good but also want to be a hero of other people whom dream of getting big and are skinny.
As a skinny guy i also feels how other skinny people feel when they see a muscular guy getting all attraction and they are neglected.

    Hello Vince… and Flavia :)

    Alex from Denmark here.

I believe I’m in your top 1% who can get use of the Maximize Your Muscle program – I went from 79 kilos to 85,4 kilos since last Christmas, by using your information and training tips! (I am 1.83 m high, and body fat percentage – 13% ) I am also a bodybuilding enthusiast. But I feel like I need some new support to get to the next level.

Therefore, I would really appreciate it, if I got the possibility to complete MYM.

You have inspired me to make my friends sign up for a gym membership, and I pass on the info I get from you, and we are all getting results.

When I’m getting results, I make my friends and family think.. if he can do it, I can do it too! It’s great to inspire other people!

Vince, you are the person who inspires me the most! I feel like I can accomplish better results when I use the advices I get from you. I want to be able to inspire many other people! And I know I can do that, if you pick me!

You make me believe that I can accomplish anything. Not just in the gym but also outside the gym !
I’ve been thinking a lot about what you are saying lately, about living large outside the gym as well. And when I put all the effort I normal put in the gym, in other areas of life, then I can move mountains :D

I will complete MYM if you pick me with great success! That’s a promise! And hopefully, I will succeed to the next level of fitness, and make me believe that I can accomplish anything with my life. And inspire others to never quit, and don’t take their eyes off their goals in life!

    I never quit. Pick me.

Despite spending my teenage years as a “troubled teenager” – for reasons I will not state here, I managed to pull myself through it all and the age now of 25 I can safely say that I am in good health happy and have not be a danger to myself for 8 years. I have a high flying career and a lovely home that I have achieved on my own. I am at the point where I want to give back by helping teenagers/young adults in distress and want to be a positive influence on others life’s . I start volunteering next year (after selling a small business) which gives me 12 months to take my body even further (NNMB User gained 8k muscle so far)
I know I can do it and regardless of whether or not I win the contest I will!
of course the training produces other by products like women and all the “wow looking good comments” which are positive, reinforcing and give great confidence but my ultimate goal is to go back to younger people and prove that you don’t need to go down a path of destruction.
Make real change to people’s life especially those who are less fortunate

    Hey Vince.

Until i was 18 years old, i was fat. There was no other way to say it, not “big boned” or “growing into my body”, i was fat, pure and simple.
Something whom my friends and family never forgot to mention (and even some enjoying it).

When i left Home for college, i stumbled upon Truth About 6 Pack Abs from Mike Geary and it changed my life. I went from a couch potato to a bodybuilding addict.

So for 2 years, i dieted and worked out to lose fat but i never really cared about building muscle… until now!
Well, until July really when i read all those motivational stories you posted on your blog, some were just mind-blowing.
So i ran to buy MYM and to my disappointment, it was closed until September.

But i didn’t waste my time, i started college about the same time the MYM opens so i pulled my new schedule and started planning the days i would work out and the days i couldn’t. I also searched in your blog for Bulking diets and nutritional advice on eating for mass. I wanted to start MYM “perfectly”!

But here we are, your epic program at the tip of my fingertips and the dream of having a ripped body (and going back home with it during the summer) almost a reality.

People crave self-confidence, self-esteem, and to command other’s respect and so do I. But what if the entire world worked out and ended up building amazing bodies for themselves? Everything is never enough for us insatiable humans. I believe bodybuilding is not the ultimate solution to success and happiness however it builds the foundation for a realistic approach to achieving our dreams and goals in life.
The muscular body is representative of those who sacrifice personal conveniences and transcend physical and psychological pain in order to achieve goals such as an aesthetically pleasing masculine persona and success in worldly affairs. Our bodies are a malleable personal and social resource. A strict systematic approach to bodybuilding and nutrition prevents irrational impulses in all areas of our lives. I have the same needs like everyone else to be desirable and to be more socially adept. But bodybuilding for me is more than just that, it is not just a vent for all the pain and suffering in my life, it is not just a lifestyle that I am going to try out for a little while and give up, I am dedicated and tenaciously bound to this lifestyle of extreme fitness and health. I think it would not only help me individually but it would project a positive impression on people and give me a chance to advise others on the importance of living the dream.
I had gained 10 pounds of muscle in six months of working out, but I started to plateau and after that, I lost all the 10 pounds of muscle in a month due to lack of proper nutrition and not finding enough time to work out. I am 6 ft small and my weight has dropped to a ginorminiscule 143 lbs. How could I possibly have any motivation and hope left in me! But although I haven’t seen any significant changes in my body, I believe that working out has boosted my immune system enormously. I was a very sickly hyperallergic teenager, but ever since I started gyming, I’ve only fallen sick once in an entire year-which is pretty awesome considering I would get a cold every month. I am not willing to ever give up on muscle building.
I’ve been waiting for the release of Maximize Your Muscle for a long time. Vince DelMonte you are someone I can totally connect with. I know that you’ve gone from skinny Vinny to Vinsane DelMighty, and that is extremely inspiring. I know that your muscle building program would be ideal for me and I hope to win.

Thanks a lot for your time and your constant advice,

In answer to your question as to why I deserve one of the three Maximise your Muscle subscriptions I cannot phrase it any better than the slogan for the L’oreal

  90. Craig Ng says:

    Vince,
I have been labeled “hard gainer” and skinny all of my life. Finding your site was a blessing.
You have inspired me to believe that I can “break the genetic code” !
I believe it is possible and need to prove it to my self.

I am a professional actor in Hollywood and have been told by many to do something else because it is too competitive and almost impossible to get work in the industry. Those voices did not stop me and I can proudly say I have worked in over 50 professional TV, film and stage productions.

In the film industry I have to stick out from the crowd… rise above the norm. (Over 200 people are submitted for the same role!)

I often audition for the role of: “bad guys”, gang leaders, thugs…etc. So I need to be a vision of power and strength… I have to be threatening to the star of the show that usually has a leading man type of “build”. I have lost many roles because of my “skinny” body.

My acting skills and “game face” have helped me to get roles but I know a strong solid build will be the element I need to rise above the norm and book the roles. I know my “better body” would change my life and allow me to embody the strength and presence I need to bring confidence to my auditions, book the job and do what I love to do the most.
    Sincerely,

Every morning, at 5:00 AM, my motivation to start the day is my workout routine. A neat physique is fascinating; knowing that a human can be so beautiful through hard work gives me inspiration. It gives a whole different meaning to life, a reason to stand up for what I believe, to keep going, most importantly to know that I will suppress myself, I will overcome my nightmares of seeing fit individuals whose stamina were far greater than mine – a boy who was considered obese a few years ago.

The great physique achieved through your program will not only boost up my confidence, but it will make me more enduring, wiser in a sense that I CAN and I WILL conquer any struggle, any doubt in myself, and achieve greatness in life, so that others may look up to me, like I do to you Vince.

When I feel great about myself, automatically, people surrounding me admire my looks and personality, the fact that I have stuck with what I intended to do and become. Not only I want to make myself proud, but my loved ones and influence them positively with healthy living, nutritious diet, and exercise.

Now at 18, most important and cherished things in my life come from my inner self, my ambitions and goals that make me different from the rest, beyond the norm, and that is what I long for the most; to have a good, healthy, fulfilled life, which can be accomplished through your program.

Really a better body can change my life, coz I have seen this change happening gradually with me from past 1 year(started working out) seeing your videos and plans which I could do it from my home. My physique has improved a lotfrom past 1 year, And seeing and feeling the improvement in my physique and in performance helped me to quit cigarettes and alcohol(once in a while) became confident to enough raise my head and walk straight with a healthy mind and with a positive thinking, and now planning to hit the gym. Where MYM could help me out to gain muscle and impress others.
And if I would have a better body than normal , I would try to maintain it which could get me a good impression and away from negativity and would help me in my carreer growth. And now single and want to be with ladies( hope u got it), could have boldly remove my shirt.
If I would had a better body than normal, I would have tried fitness modeling, good carreer oppurtunities would have come in my way and could have tried, most of all people around me would have appreciated which gives me an added boost in seeing a positive future life and enjoying it. Could have motivated people around me telling them about my transformation, help them in their workout routines. Right now I feel good seeing my transformation and get self motivated, can imagine what will be after gaining more muscle. Even my cousin Roshan have started working out with me in my home which also gives me a boost and giving help each other.
Its important for me to look better and feel better than just “average”. Which can improve my confidence , performance ,looks in future, which I had always thought about while watching movie actors, models and people working out in gym, and to get rid of my status ‘single’.

  93. Allan says:

My name is Allan, and two years ago I decided to get serious about adding size. At the time I came in at 6’2″ and weighed 135 pounds; the comment I received most often, whether talking to guys or after hugging girls was, and this is a direct quote, ‘You’re so small!’. I think we can agree most men would rather not have that as part of their identity.

I decided to do something about it. Over the next two years I lifted 3 days a week, with the longest gap between workouts being 7 days in length (when I got sick). With that consistency I was able to add 15 pounds of muscle and a lot of strength, with my benchpress 1RM moving from 120 to 215.

This is what matters to me: I want to be a personal trainer. I want to keep gaining and be an example for the other skinny guys; someone who started very small and grew big, despite his genetics. I want to be hope for those who have faced disrespect their whole lives, for only lacking muscle mass.

This will help me accomplish that.

  94. Karisa Murrietta says:

A better body would change my life because I would be able to prove to myself and my loved ones that I was committed enough to endure and work through the pain/sweat to get the best body possible. I would walk around with such confidence and feel so proud. I want to know what it’s like to gladly accept invitations to events that require me to wear a bikini instead of brainstorming excuses to get out of them.

If I had a better body I would try to help others in reshaping their bodies by giving my testimony of how I overcame fat loss and how they can too. I think in order for me to help anyone, I have to help myself first. I have high standards when it comes to a better body and I think that having a body better than the average person would show not only outwardly, but also inwardly. If I had a better body, I would do everything I had dreamed of doing like going on vacations to exotic places, embarking on physical adventures, and pushing my body to see what else it can do. I want that toned physique where other women would stare at me with envy and wonder how they can achieve a body like mine. Ultimately, I will achieve that body I’m striving for and am looking forward to the day where my dedication shines through.

My wife and I have been married 7 years now and thus far have had a good marriage. However, as in anything, we need to continue to grow stronger together. We have both been working hard lately at making our bodies our best, but I know we can do so much better. With a great looking and healthy body I expect to have a greater desire for my wife as she to me. We’ve already inspired our friends to get out of the comfort zone and do so much more. With your continued help we will be better able to inspire a desire in others to do much more, and better with their lives. Thanks

Having a muscular body also means having a healthy body and a healthy heart.Consider the fact that body fat contributes to high blood pressure and other heart related diseases.Having more muscle means burning more fat.Having a better body gives u lots of advantages like having more confident than ever, having more people respecting you, health benefits as stated above…..

Looking paper thin or like the Pillsbury dough boy isnt a thing to be proud of .Its always a dream to become big and muscular mayb not as big as jay culter or ronnie coleman.I want a body than can inspire people to those who lack motivation or just anyone who want to keep fit.

To me looking better than average definitely give you more chance in life, getting a job you want, getting attention not just the woman but guys and getting the dream girl.

So MYM will be the key to open all those perfect things in life.

  97. Mike Zulferino says:

    Vince,

I have been at the gym blasting my body in every way i can think of to make myself look better. I have been constantly reading every email you send out and have tried to win the past contest. I believe i have done every thing i can possibly do and i still cannot get past 3 big plateaus. As of right now I am strong and look good but there are still people I see at the gym that I want to look like. I cannot stand wanting and wanting and not receiving. I am an extremely hard worker and these plateaus are killing me not allowing me to grow any more to what i want to look like even though i am busting my butt off to get there. I want to prove to my friends that have been doubting me and more importantly to myself that i can destroy these plateaus and be better then ever. Through maximize your muscle I believe I would kill my plateaus and be better than ever not only in my physical shape but in my
mental health as well. Vince I NEED to break through these plateaus.

    Thanks for the opportunity.

  98. Joe Chang says:

    Hey Vince

Greetings to you all the way from Singapore. Growing up, I’ve also endured the chronic humiliation of being the scrawny guy in the room. The one that others silently look down upon simply because his appearance projects a sense of fragility and an indication that he can be easily overpowered. Being only 5″7 at only 120 pounds was a double whammy to my self confidence, as most guys not only towered over me but also had the size and strength I wanted.

When I was 16 I stumbled upon Sean Nalewanyj’s The Truth About Building Muscle. I bought my copy of the program and by following it diligently I have made some decent progress. In the past two years I gained about 30 pounds of muscle and only a bit of bodyfat. However, lately, I seem to have hit a wall so to speak and I’ve been struggling to make progress from week to week. The strength and size gains that came so rapidly as a beginner have been replaced by a plateau. I’ve stalled at 155 pounds and even though I attempted to tweak the program the gains are still minimal.

I want to smash through this plateau because I want to take my physique to a much higher level. I enjoy training and I want to take my strength and endurance to greater heights. Your body actually communicates to people of the kind of attitude you have. If you have a mediocre physique people will infer that you are apathetic and unmotivated. However, if you possess a jaw dropping physique, you instantly imply to people that you have your shit together (so to speak) and that you possess qualities such as dedication, diligence and perseverance which are not only necessary to succeed in the gym but in all aspects of life as well. I want to serve as an inspiration to my peers and family that if you set your goals and work smart you will achieve them. And besides, it will whip them to get into shape as well.

With that being said, I downloaded your free report, the 12 untapped targets and I was blown away by the content. As you said, most programs only incorporate at best 1 or 2 of them. I wholeheartedly agree and now its no wonder why I’ve hit a plateau. I have no doubt this program will work wonders for me and will enable me to use my success with my physique as a platform for success in all other areas of my life. I will soon join your before and after success stories page so reserve a spot for me there.

  99. Brad Prescott says:

I believe MYM would be a focal point on my journey to greatness and would provide me with the nessacery information and motivation to apply my effort to just as I have with other areas. In 6 months I will meet the most important person (girl) in my life, and its not just about looking good for her, but also looking and feeling good for myself. I would honestly come out of my shell if I looked greater than the norm and it would fuel me to push harder in life as I have many plans to finish university, and then move to find a job and basically start life for real. Having a better body would be the foundation for this success as it would drive my self-confidence daily. The feeling people get when others look at them and say “Wow, you workout, right?” must feel absolutely amazing, and that is exactly what feeling will drive me to success in life as it will encompass a world of self-confidence and allow me to push as hard as I can for future goals. In addition, my father has grown very sick in recent years and this makes me want to improve my health and body even more, not just to avoid it happening to me but also so he can see that I have achieved in life, particularly in something I have wanted for so long. MYM/Vince allows people to be who they really are inside! Thanks!!

I want a more muscular body because what I can do with it is not about me. I am a political science majors and a member of student government. I am passionate about helping others and doing something greater than myself. The more presence I have the room the persuasive I can be. With a more muscular statesman like body I can raise more for charities, have more control on what happens in advisory board for wellness and recreation center, work to promote civility back on all levels of government, and have more general influence to touch lives at our 13,000 plus university more effectively both academically and socially. I will be interning in Washington in the future also and having more muscular body can help me be more effective and persuasive to solve our nations problems.

I worked with a bunch of underachievers for some reason due to lack of guidance on their end and self belief…and somehow they looked up to me for guidance in life. I always tell them that if they put their mind to something and go all out to achieve it, nothing is impossible and everything is achievable no matter what present state of environment they are in. I am a small built person by nature and my next goal is to get more ripped and bigger not only for myself but for this group of people in the sense that if i can do it, so can they. I am a firm believer of lead by example and since getting to know you online gives me hope that anything is possible

I want to look at myself in the mirror without feeling self pity. I started working out in January of this year and I was really skinny (19 years old, 110 pounds, 5 foot 9). I’ve made a small change, now I’m sitting at 117 pounds. Though I’m happy I’ve made small gains, I feel as though I’m fighting an uphill battle. I am byfar the skinniest of all my friends and I can’t relate to them.

I write to you because I believe Maximize Your Muscle works. You were skinny, just like I am. You wanted to change, just like I do. You’re body is a testament to it, so I know you won’t play us. I have the drive to make that change and I’m not racing against some clock to look and feel great. But, I lack the know-how to unlock my potential. Maximize Your Muscle is that key.

    Thank you Vince.

  103. Felipe says:

The reason I want something greater than the norm is simple. I am a school teacher, a martial arts instructor and above all a uncle of 3. I want to have something that will help me be an example to my students and family. I want to show them that with hard work and smart choices you can really accomplish great things.

I want to inspire other people through my own hard work to really do something good for their body and themselves, I think maximize your muscle will help me accomplish just this.

  104. Javier says:

    Hi Vince,

I feel I can use your experience as a coach. I’ve tried many different routines and nutrition plans and yet I don’t seem to able to earn more than a pound or two. I have read your book and follow the instructions, yet I still can use the extra push to bring me to your level or at least pretty close to it.

I work in entertainment, a comedian to be precised, and having a healthy body will bring in so many benefits in both my career and my social life. So please give me a chance to take advantage of this opportunity.

    Thank you.

  105. Sean Mulcahy says:

Vince you have convinced me I can be transformed. However you have also convinced me that it requires my commitment and persistence.

At 57 I am slightly overweight and have been fitter. When I was very young I was skinny. I am at a stage were our children are off our hands, but still required our support similar to most families, and it is time for me to review my health and fitness to support me in older age.

I suffer from high blood pressure and am on medication and am keen to see what weight loss (fat) and muscle increase can do for my health. I feel that I have lost my compass and believe that the programme (sorry we spell it that way here) offered by Vince will not only provide the compass but the map to my health in the future.

I want to help my wife and children (who are adults now) in their lives and am sure a healthy husband and father will enable me to continue to be there to help them in what they need to do.

Vince your writing and video clips are inspirational. I believe that you have a sense of stewardship for fitness and admire how you constantly want others to share in your knowledge and success.

Can I close by wishing you and your wife Flavia every happiness, and thank you for sharing yourselves through your wedding photos and video clips.

  106. Chris says:

    HI

The reason why I want this program is beacause I want to achieve more and go beyond my potential. My family are all small type and i was told that I could not grow big and muscluar not matter what i do and how much I eat. This was reinforce over and over in my head and i beleieve what i was told until the day I discovered your website. My life was changed, I was inspired how skinny guys like you Vince can become strong and muscular. After 1 year i increase my weight from 55 kg to 67kg now. This was hard but I did it.When I was 55kg I could see only my bones,I had no self esteem, no confidence to talk to people thinking that they would judge me and make fun of my body. Now that i am less bonny,My confidence in myself has gone up ,I am a bit more ok with my body but I am still working on my inner self to achieve what i desire in life and change my thinking process that it is possible to go for it.Everyday I have in my mind what i want to achieve and believing that I can put on more weight and having the physique i want to independent of what other people say.It all in the mind I think.

So the reason why i really want this is simply to proove to myself and other that i can do it and become muscluar if so many people has done it before.I dont want to become really big like bodybuilder but my goal is to reach 85kg for the next 2 years not matter what the obstacles are .This will also increase my self esteem and Being able to communicate and connect with other people is what I desire because I sometimes feel inferior to others by thier big body.

    Hey Vince

I`ve been involved in sport all my life and started training with weights in my late teens. As I grew more interested in the whole reasoning and concepts behind training, like yourself I then went on to study a science related degree which allowed me to developa knowledge base on anatomy and physiology, nutriton, training principles and so on.

Training is not just a hobby for me its a way of life and a passion. I want my physique to be on the next level like yours. As my knowledge base has increased Im afraid to say my body has not, you can say its stayed at that word “plateau”. I weigh 165ibs and I fall at about 10% body fat.

Like the mentor and go to guy such as yourself Vince, you have built a physique that inspires people which you can say gives them the confidence to ask you questions and so on. I want to be that same guy, who can help people out and inspire them. I feel by developing my physique to the next level I can achieve this.

I`ve never been the one to follow the crowd, when I was a kid at high school at the weekends when my school pals were out drinking and partying I was at home getting an early night to play a game or train the next morning. Dedication and commitment is built in my charachter, to train with your program you need to have this. This is why I feel I would be a good candidate to receive and do your program proud.

By developing my physique to a new level I also feel I would do my family proud in a lot of ways. I was a premature child and a little runt all the way through school LOL, the small kid at the front of team picture etc. I never let it effect methough its shaped me into who I am :) Picturing me 15-20 lbs more in a couple of months would be something else looking back at my runt days. They also say that your body reflects your lifestyle, having a muscular, healthy looking physique would suggest to me that, that person is a commited, disciplined, driven individaul whch are all good traits any parent would be proud of :)

Your body can speak a thousand words, I want mine to represent the good :)

Thank you for inspiring me Vince :)

Having the look of somethimg greater than the norm brings so much more to ones life then a great appearance. It brings monumental physical and mental health. This health is the most precious thing a person can own. Once one has accrued this, so many more things follow; self-esteem, seil-confidence, courage, self-worth, and a prolonged life. These are the things that are very difficult for someone to take away from you. This will not only enhance ones own life, but also the lives of family and friends. All things on this good earth considered priceless can not compare to having this state of greater than the norm and all the things that come with it. The MYM program could be the best path to help one possess all these wonderful things.

  109. Kylee says:

Hi Vince I would like to say that I want to look Greater than the Norm for a lot of reasons but the main reason is:
I was physically and emotionally harmed as a child, receiving anything from smacks to the head, kickings down the hallway, beltings with an extrememly thick belt around the back of the legs etc….
That wasn’t the hardest part though it was the words that damaged me the most, being told by a parent that you are fat and ugly, that you have a ducks arse, that you are stupid hurts the most and lingers.
I am now 35, I have 3 kids I lost 40 kilos in a year through healthy eating and exercise no weightloss program and little encouragement .
I now have another goal I wish to build my body to the maximum to see how far I really can go and I believe that your program will help me reach these goals.
I have proven to myself I am worth it.

  110. Hi Vince,
I’ve been lifting weights now for 25 years. I’m strong but still can’t manage to get anywhere near a lower than 20% body fat percentage. I’m 38. And I love lifting weights but I’m just can’t look at myself in the mirror. I’m tired of looking average or below average. Honestly I can’t even look myself in the eyes inthe mirror without crying. I cut carbs , increased protien, limitied fat, increased fat, no eating after 6pm, only protien after six… You mention I’ve probably done it. Except steroids that’s the only thing I have not done…..yet. But I want to be healthy more than anything so no steroids. It’s so hard naturally to acheive when your body just wants to be fat. I’m 5’9″. 215 . And 30-38% bodyfat depending on what scale I use. I have never seen my abs. Ever. Just once and for all I want abs to match my strength. Just once I want tobe able to take off my shirt and have people gasp with appreciation instead of snickering. I put everything I have into lifting weights and dieting but it’s not enough. I was thinking that maybe you could help me if I won the contest. I would buy the program but money is a bit too tight right now for me.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
    Congrats again on the wedding.

    Hey Vinnie,
up untill 6 months ago i have never really had a good looking body. i decided to change the way i eat, and decided to train like a dog by searching up people like yourself, lee hayward, gregg plitt on youtube and studying your guys training to learn new things. i can honestly say that this is an addiction, i am addicted to working out and improving the way i look. enough is never enough for me, this summer i want to have the best body on the beach, hands down. it may sound cocky, but i want people to look at me and say ‘i wish i was like that’ i want to be number one.

with your help vince, i can do that. its funny because im a student so i work 2 days a week, all my wages go into my body! wether its protein powder, BCAA’s, creatine or just chicken breasts. i just love it, its the best hobby ever. i love working out and i would love to try your program, ill be like you one day regardless of wether you pick me for this competition.

good luck man i hope you find the 3 right people, Jordan Earl, from New Zealand.

I NEED to get a ripped physique because I believe that self-mastery and the continuous striving for personal excellence justifies existence. Not only will every area of my life be immeasurably better WHEN (not if) I achieve my goals, but I know I will inspire others to set off on the rich path of breaking past personal limitations. A man’s worth is determined by the worth of what he values, and I value excellence. I need to set a good example for my younger brothers of pride, austerity, drive, hunger, passion, and dedication so that they too desire MORE out of life.

I currently have a lean, scrawny physique due to my training (a great deal of long distance running) and natural build. I WILL add lean, hard muscle and become a much better, stronger athlete and person. Like the Greek ideal, I will have an honorable soul in a strong body. When I die, I NEED to know that I did not live a half-assed life, but that I put it all out there for myself and those around me. Life is a gift, and I will be my very best or die trying!

Hi Vince, first of all I´m a big of you, and for your workout programs, because are the most sincere and complete of all.
Why I want to be better than the rest?
First of all, for the first time in my life I want to win the biggest battle the opponent is my self. The bodybuilding like you say before is not just pure ego is self-improvement, the environment is quit difficult, beside of my anxious problems my family does not look with good eyes my goals of improve my body the say the most toxic sentence you look great so why more? Or you should feel good about your body, okey vince guest what? I´m not, I told my mother that I don´t want to hear that anymore I don´t want emotional morphine for the very first I feel really pissed off about this, yeah I can really put the psychic effort to believe that, but is this the way that someone most address their problems? I don´t think so, I feel really passionate in this quest, I wan to win, and I will do this for myself, I want to show everyone that this possible I want to become a man of example for my family to help them for love, for my father for his lifestyle I´m really afraid to lost him, again like you say before is selfish if you don´t take of your self my both grandparents died before I met them, and the both die for being alcoholic for lucky my father is not in that path but I really want that my sons met their grandparent.
I know that a better body will not resolve my entire life, but is a big step.
I don’t want to be chubby, shy nice guy I will become a true Spartan warrior ;)

I would have bought it but my family can’t efford it I know you might not consider picking me but mym says it changes lives and i am wanting to apply as a personal trainer and once I get the body I can pursue it. This my not be the best reason but i hope you consider me.

    Hey Vince,

Throughout my entire life I have been picked on and teased for being so small. Although I consider myself to be in good shape I am 5’5 and weigh in at 125 lbs soaking wet. A lot of my close friends have large muscle mass and are able to walk around with such confidence. I want to be able to know what that feels likenand be able to go out with the guys and gain respect and attention from everyone. I have tried numerous workout programs for gaining mass but have not been able to pack on the size that I want so bad. My nutrition has never been a problem it is the actual workout programs that have failed me. I am so determined to transform my body and show myself and everyone around me that I can gain muscle and have the body that ive always strived for. Vince, your transformation has been such a great inspiration for me and given me the hope that it can and will be done!!

    Hi Vince,

Why do I want to look like something greater than the norm? What is “normal” in the first place? Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time there was a wiseman who lived in peace, working out every day, painting, meditating and just enjoying life basically. Meanwhile, people were getting greedy, looking down on one another, cheating, stealing, belittling others. Things had gotten out of hand, so much so that a kami (a kind of Japanese spirit) decided that he’d pour some sort of poison into the water, causing everybody to become crazy. This way they would all be equal… and crazy, and they would stop looking down on others. But the kami decided to warn the wiseman because he was different and didn’t deserve to be punished. Actually he was the last normal person on Earth. He told him to build a huge tank and fill it up with enough water for the rest of his life. This way, he wouldn’t become crazy. Ten days later, the kami poured the poison and everybody became crazy. But the thing is they didn’t even notice it and therefore thought they were normal. One day, the wiseman started to feel lonely and decided to go look for a woman. Unfortunately he couldn’t find one because they all thought he was crazy and ABnormal “look at this kook, he doesn’t eat meat… he works out all day long… he doesn’t even answer when he’s insulted… what a wuss!” they all said. But he eventually offered a woman some water from his tank, and she became normal again (in other words, crazy according to the others’ standards). She accepted to marry him and they both lived happily ever after. Everybody thought they were wacky but they actually were normal.

That’s what being “normal” means to me. It means lowering your standards and doing as everybody else does. It’s the easy way. It’s being afraid of looking different, being afraid of taking action. It means living a boring life, routine, etc.

It’s true that if you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten. Well, if you do what others do, you’ll get what others get. If you want to be different, you have to act different, or at least follow people who have acted differently.

Life is short, and I’m sure we’re here on Earth for a purpose. Life is a gym and every day you try to grow stronger, to become a better person and all.
I’ve been working like crazy to be “above average.” I used to be the fat guy. I weighed over 250lbs by age 14. I’m now 22 and weigh 165lbs and I’m about 10% bodyfat. Everybody in my family thought I’d never be slim because it was “my genes” and that I was “big-boned.” I proved them wrong, not only that, but I became much healthier. I started doing things with my body I wouldn’t even have dreamed of doing 10 years ago. Front flips, back flips, hand springs, running up trees and walls. Now what I want is build some muscle to increase my metabolism even more, be stronger, leaner, healthier and have a greater life. Our bodies are vehicles to our souls. You may have the greatest ideas in the world, if your body can’t follow, it will only take you so far.

But this goes even further, because then you can help others achieve their goals in return. You become like a guide. You’re not superior at all, you’ve just been there before and therefore you can look after them and make sure they change their limiting beliefs and avoid some traps.

I’ve seen the results some of your clients have gotten. It’s incredible! That’s why I think your program can definitely help me take it to the next level. For me, but for others too.

Thanks for reading this long comment, Vince!

    Take care,

    Charles

    Vince,

First I’d like to say I am probably one of the smallest readers you have. 5’7 110lbs on a good day. :P

When I tackle a new challenge, I like to have a plan. Not a plan that merely gets the job done, but a plan that allows me to excel without question. A pinpoint airstrike, if you will. I believe MYM is that plan, created by one of the best for only the best results.

Not even just the idea of mass gain, but health in general has been one of life’s greatest obstacles for my entire 27 year existence. I have strange health quirks and often feel things I’m told a 27 year old does not usually experience. I want to do something about this but I do not want to settle for average results. I have never felt the feeling of being healthy in any physically-related sense and I have always longed for it to be so.

This isn’t just about getting attention from women, or from getting respect in the gym or the bar or wherever. It’s not even about looking better in a shirt. It’s about *feeling better*, in a wholistic sense. For me, starting from the ground up, it’s quite the journey.

In order to survive what seems virtually impossible, I will need the best tools to make it through. I want what you have, and while that’s not perfection, compared to where I’m coming from, it’s a galaxy away.

I consider this a privilege to even have the chance at such an opportunity. I am ready to change my life.

Everybody DESERVES a better body. For most, we are uneducated or just plain lazy and caught in a rut to take the opportunity to make the change.

I am from Australia and we don’t have trainers like Vince Delmonte here.

What I would do with my new improved body is to live life to the maximum.

Create a life that is worth living and loving every minute of it. Get rid of the negativity and start creating a better place for me and everyone else that comes into contact with me.

Overcome my underactive thyroid condition through a daily exercise regime and clean eating.

If I can do it, I know my husband will follow in my footsteps – priceless to me.

  120. John Rickman says:

I am assuming that most of the guys going for this are young and want that perfect body for the girls as well as themselves. Well at 53 and single, I want it to reward myself for raising my 2 daughters and helping with my 4 grandchildren. And…your never to old to try and impress the Ladies!!

I’ve put my life on hold for the past 5-6 years because of the reasons I stated above and now want to do something for me. The opportunity you are presenting for three people is just what I need. I have the motivation and desire and now if selected the right tools and resources to get the job done.

This will show that you are never to old to change and better yourself if the desire and right plan are put into action. I’m ready to take the action step if you are willing to provide the plan. Thanks for the consideration and opportunity even if I’m not one of the chosen.

    Hey Vince!

I’m from Arizona and I live in a little city called Cottonwood. I have been following you for little over a year now and I just love your stuff. I’m 22 years old and I’m doing my best to become a better version of myself and to inspire others to do the same. If I was given the chance to blow past my genetics, I know I could inspire others and especially my family to become more fit/better versions of themselves. I have an older brother who is handicapped and I love him to death… He is sadly very unhealthy and overweight and I’m sure if I could aspire to the next level, to blow past my own genetics, my brother would see that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Last year I weighed in at about 192 pounds standing at 5’10″ inches with a body fat percent of 21. Following your cutting program, I’m currently 168 pounds and at about 12 percent body fat. I can finally see my six pack which I’ve never been able to see before. I have never felt so dedicated in my life then I do now. I have lost a lot of strength during my cutting phase and I know MYM is just what I need to kick my body into gear.

So Vince, if you were to give me 12 months free to ‘Maximize Your Muscle’ you would not only be helping me achieve my goals, but helping me improve the lives of others around me.

    Thank you for your time,

    Trevor Faust from Cottonwood, AZ.

There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.” ~Denis Waitley

What “I” realized is that the body that “I” had,the body “I” was living in, had become the way it had as a direct result of all the actions, attitudes, beliefs, and bad habits that “I” had developed in the past. The truth about what had been holding me back is that “I” had not taken responsibility for getting myself in my current physical state.
“You are the only problem you will ever have and you are the only solution. Change is inevitable, personal growth is always a personal decision.”

after reading that, it just sparked to me, WTF was i doing???? Got up, brushed my act together, and remembered that the journey of 1000 miles always begins with one step!!since then i have gone from 210 pounds to 176 pounds and realised that “I” can acheive. i want your yearly membership vince to keep the steam engine going, i beleive i deserve it because i have taken responsibility for my actions and changed to benefit myself and others that surround me. plus i need bigger guns (: thanks a bunch. 123. Salvador Cruz says:

HEy man, well the reason why I want this body is because I want to be a leader. Lets face it, the ones who are (or appear, not my case) more succesful can be leaders, I’m working in other aspects of my life, (I’m finishing my Master’s degree in Maths, je I’m a geek) but i want the whole package, I want to develop everything that i am. You’ll see I don’t think of myself as a naturally gifted, but that way I can teach something, “everything I had, I earned it because of my work”, and the ones I would inspire can achieve that too. Just need the right way to do it.

    Thanks for the opportunity.

    You friend,

  124. I wanna look like something greater than the norm because I FEEL greater than the norm. I’m never satisfied by staying the same and I take that as an insult when friends that haven’t seen me in a while tell “Woah, you look just like I remember you”. Really? I do? All my hard work to look the same? So, yeah. I work really hard and I expect to get rewarded for my efforts. Can your program help me? Maybe. But I’m sure as hell gonna try!

  125. Brian Richards says:

    Vince -

I started working out after my father had a terrible heart attack at the age of 55. I decided then and there that I would not be next on that operating table. Now, here I am, 8 years later, and I have made great progress working out in the gym and trying this program and that program… whatever was hot on the market.

I am ready for something more. I am ready for the next level of fitness. I have trouble gaining weight because of a stomach disorder I battle with each day, but nothing has stopped me yet of achieving my goals. A tough and challenging new program from you won’t deter me either! I am ready to make you proud and take my body to another level.

I am still many years away from turning 55, but with programs like Maximize Your Muscle, I am confident I won’t be on an operating table like my dad was. In fact, what I have accomplished on my own these past 8 years has inspired my dad. He is in the gym with me too sometimes – still going strong 8 years later. I would love to show him again what can be done with a healthy lifestyle and the right plan of attack. I believe Maximize Your Muscle is that next step for me. Give me the chance to prove it to you and to my dad.

    Thanks Vince.

    Hello Vince,

I am a 17 year old vegetarian from the Caribbean island of Trinidad. I have been following u for some months now and I know that u are knowledgeable and wise in body building and I would love to learn more from u via this program.
I am currently in my last year of high school and I am graduating just now. I am a straight A student and I would love to look beyond the norm to prove to people that u can have both brains and brawn and that u can have a mixture in your life.
Also I would use your info to make my family proud of me and my achievements. You see I train with my dad and I would love to see him blow beyond his genetic potential (inspiring others that u are never too old to improve your physique and your health) as a little reward for all he has done for me and my family.
As the popular saying goes your health is your wealth I would use your program to improve the health and fitness of both me and my dad.

    Thank you,
    Syam maharaj

  128. Max says:

I will definetly feel more confident
People will notice me wherever I and I will no longer be considered as that average skinny bastard,
Isn’t that an amazing feeling? To think to yourself “SHIT, you’re the one man!”
to walk past a girl and she notices you, turns her head and you can guess she pictures you undressed in her head?
I will be able to take my shirt of, and I’ll be stared at! I will be listened to when I do a speech in front of an
audience, or during an appointement for a job.
but being able to truly reach my ideal physique not only will open me most of the doors of success, beyond
those personal ego boosting and satisfactions it will also provide a proof to everyone around me,
my friends, my family that when you have a dream and truly believe in it, with time,
hard work and commitment you can totaly achieve it!

Becoming the strongest version of me. This has been the main goal of my life for the past year. Last year, when I decided to change my life around many have doubted me and laughted in my face when I said that I want to be in good shape. That didn’t bother me, all I cared about is their faces when I will be the fit person that they will envy. The gym has been a base in my life this year and it helped live large outside of it. Giving me more confidence and motivating me at school and graduating this year. Why I deserve the free membership? Its simple. The programme will allow me to continue achieving my goal of becoming the strongest me and also I believe by becoming the strongest me I will be avble to inspire other people that everything is possible when you truely desire it.

    Hey Vince,
    i’ll do it short :)
after NNMB contest and the failed weedingcontest i kept on with my training…. i made good procress BUT i dont know why i got to the point where i said: damn its not going forward so i tryed every tipp from you and roman and john depass….. but to be honest it ended in frustration and i stoped to train now for some month and i dont know if i will go back soon…..

idk its strange i focus more n training ppl but i let myself drifting away i eat junkfood and i dont train and this ended in loosing my abs and even if its not really smart and i know that i see no reason to bust my ass of and geting no real results….

well i dont know if MYM will help me but i trused in you in the past and now its on your turn if you want to help me again and give me this look inside….
and one thing is sure: i would train my ass of just to prove mysel that YOU are right again… and maybe it would help me to get out of this social down i have atm :/

however nice greets from germany your lil down friend björn

When i first started weight lifting , it was strictly because i looked terrible , i was 97 pounds , and everyone was making fun of my body . At first i really didn’t care , but then hormones kicked in and by the time i was 15 , a girl i liked made fun of me ( which is probably the main reason that anyone STARTS going to the gym) , so i decided to weight lift .

I work out because in the gym , it doesn’t matter if you look like zac efron or not , whether you’re rich or not , everyone shares the same passion in the gym , which is one of the REASONS i love going to the gym.

I want to have a better body because i want to be a fitness model , to compensate for my 5’5 frame , to finally feel comfortable when i take off my shirt on the beach or anywhere else , and to finally be able to stand up for myself.
