Why Do You Want To Look Like Something Greater Than The Norm?
Warning:
TODAY’S POST IS NOTFOREVERYBODY.
The question I want you to ask yourself today may only be for the top 1-2% of my readers who are really serious.
The top 1-2% that are not trying to hit their genetic potential… but blow beyond it and take their gains to a wholenewlevel!
This question is not for people who feel guilty about investing time into their body or away from their family.
This question is not for people who sporadically workout or rejoin the gym off and on.
This is not for you if show up late, slide out early, cheat your rep counts and hold anything back.
This is not for you if you’ve bought one of my programs and not even started yet. (Go start it today)
Let’s put it this way: This is not for you if you just can’t get your shit together.
Do Yourself A Favor And Keep Reading If You’re Ready To Slap Your Genetics
In The Face…
Everyone has goals in 2010 which is completely normal.
But I’m speaking to you if you have goals that are beyond normal.
I know you’re out there and if you’re reading this — I’m talking to YOU. With 2010 fast approaching, you’re the guy (or gal) who is not writing, “I want to have a normal body in 2010.”
You don’t want to look like a “normal” guy—you want to look like something greater.
You’re probably thinking how amazing it would be to blast through that plateau and go beyond — WAY BEYOND – your genetic potential.
If you have ever wanted an awe-inspiring one-of-a-kind body, that’s NORMAL too.
That’s right: it’s normal to want something beyond the norm.
It doesn’t happen over night but with persistence, you CAN have something beyond the norm, I am living proof!
And if that’s you, it’s time to come out and prove it by telling us why on the comment section below. I believe that writing helps visualize which leads to actualization. Taking 2 minutes to answer this question will solidify your goals in 2010 and be a powerful little exercise for you.
Again, if you have average or modest goals and just train for general fitness and are content looking normal then don’t be offended or take this personal. I love you just as much but today I’m speaking to those who are wired just like me.
This is ONLY for the 1-2% of my readers who don’t want to look like a “normal” guy or gal — you want to look like something greater.
Question for you:
“Why do you want something beyond the norm? Why do YOU personally want to look like something greater in 2010?”
I want 200 comments on this one. Keep your answer short and concise so you won’t forget it. This question is not to win a prize but ingrain your REASON WHY into your head so you know why you’re doing what you’re doing. If I ran into you on the streets you would be able to tell me in 30 seconds or less. I’ll start…
Vince
P.S. After Christmas you’re going to find out how 95% Of Programs You’ve Tried Have The Plateau BuiltRightIntoTheProgram!
P.P.S. On January 4th, 2010 I’ll be releasing my brand new program, Maximize Your Muscle: Blow Beyond Your Genetic Potential. It’s the same set of advanced programs I used to grow from 190-lbs of muscle to 210-lbs of muscle this past 2 years. It’s geared towards intermediate and advanced bodybuilders or anyone just sick of being stuck in a rut. More info to come after Christmas….
I want to look better than the norm because I take pride in being a walking symbol of success, hard work, discipline and inspiration to others around me.
I take pride in knowing that I have achieved something others find difficult and it proves to me that I can be successful in other areas of my life too.
Especially the areas of my life that have been more challenging for me to grow in aside from my physique.
I personally want to look like something greater because it seperates you from everyone else. People look at you with more respect when your body is chiseled like a rock because most people understand the dedication it takes and the work put in to get a body like that.
The world follows my example and not my advice so to make ppl around me better i need work on myself. it is this drive that u talking bout that differentiates the rest from the best and i always strive to be the best.
It is only because of this that i have been able to motivate ppl around me to strive to get better and become the best……
In the current culture and economy, people are going to look for leadership. It’s not going to come from Washington, it’s going to come from the people we surround ourselves with every day. I want to lead people to feel the best they can, and literally save their lives by changing their health habits. In order to do that, I have to be a shining example of what is possible.
I have to be the answer, not just give the answer to their problems, and that is my goal.
i heard nelly (the rapper/singer) say sumthing similar to this, and it stuck with me.
Most things i do in my life, others take benifit from it, but when i go to the gym, i work out, sweat, and work hard to achieve that one last rep, i do that and the only one who achieves an award from that is ME…
selfish i know… but its sumthing i do for me… i want to be the BEST i can be… physicialy, and mentally :)
I want to look better than “normal” not just because of the gorgeous women, but I have noticed that my confidence and ability to be comfortable and sociable has ski-rocketed. Everyone says “looks aren’t everything” and that girls want a guy with “personality,” well, after getting the look part down I have indirectly gained tons of personality.
Also, I want to look better than normal because everyone said it was impossible for me. Slowly, they’re realizing they were wrong. I want to be known as that A|X model look alike, with ripped muscle and little bodyfat.
i want to mecome more thana normal guy as i don’t want to look like some ordinasy people..i want to prove to my girl friend that i can be stronger and bigger and she will repent taht y she left me…i want to prove to myself that i m not a average guy and want to earn respect… i want that people should take me as ideal and should want to have a body like me…thats my dream..i want to be like u vince
I want to lead by example, to be the one who walks into a room and the young guys who work for me go “DAMN!” I want to show up the young guys who are half my age. At 6′6″ tall, I already attract attention so why not flaunt instead of hide it.
I want to look better than the norm because if I can achieve that it will make me feel better. I love the muscle soreness feeling 2 days after a hard workout which for 2 months now has been every workout. I have had 13 knee surgeries and 2 lower back surgeries and most doctors and others say stop doing this, I want to prove them wrong, 51 years old, 5 foot 9, 182 lbs 13.5% body fat. I am going for single digits because I know I can and will succeed and hopefully it can motivate others to get of the Freakin COUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to be recognised for all my effort.. I want people turning their heads when i walk by.. I want to get respect from the people i face on a average day.. and i want people to come to me and say: Wow! how did you achieve it? what did you eat? what do i have to do to be like you?!.
I want to be better than the norm because I want to be the one the guys say to themselves or to those close to them “man I wish I looked like that…did you see how chisled that guy was…”. To be an inspiration to those wanting to achieve what I have. Have that intimidating factor just with looking at me. To make myself a better, healthier person from A to Z.
First off – What is ‘nomal’?? If you go back to the time of the Roman/Greek culture would the ‘normal’ male look the same as the ‘normal’ male of today?? The goof Lord made us to be the best that we can be – that is what I want. I want to set the example for my children and grandren – that is the ‘norm’ for me.
Progressively changing from chubby fat (no endurance, tiny physical strength) to slim and very fit over the years has shown me how much life makes everything possible, so long as we want it enough and dedicate ourselves enough for it.
As I trained in Martial Arts and became better, as my physical shape and ability improved, it turns out all the other areas of my life improved as well. Nothing of it was easy, but ALL of it felt extraordinarily rewarding.
As such, it is now a WAY OF LIFE for me to constantly seek to improve, in all areas of my life, and to fulfill as many interests I can think of. I just won’t settle for average. Why so, when you can always reach for better?
Moreover, becoming an inspiration for others is an inspiring experience in itself. It is also a wonderful source of learning.
2010 is going to be the year I remember for the rest of my life. It’s the year I finally prove to myself that I can build the body of my dreams. Not because I’ll look impressive. Not because I’ll be more athletic. Not for all the compliments.
I want this for myself to know I have earned the body I’ve wanted my entire life. To look at myself in the mirror and be proud of the hard work and sweat that’s gone in.
I don’t just want a normal looking body. I want to stand above the norm crowd and know that no one has worked harder than me. Simple as that.
I believe that , me personally , needs to step out of the bell curve and see what I can accomplish myself. If for no other reason then to say I did it.
Its important to me to look better than the norm because it proves i spend time working on myself, i am committed, i am an expert in a certain subject, i am an inspiration, i am a walking success story that if you WANT to CHANGE you ABSOLUTELY CAN.
I also like the people i attract into my life through my lifestyle! Thats super important to me, and I have a feeling it was also with you Vince :)
I want this because I am above average, and want more than words and work product and career success to show for it. My body is my temple and therefore deserves the same devotion and care as I put into other precious parts of my life.
I want to become something better than normal, beacuse simply put, I’m freaking tired of being normal, IT SUCKS! I want and will become something that I have only been able to dream about, and I will do whatever it takes to become that person.
I am now over 60 years young and i feel i am acheiving good things but still have away to go and i know that 2010 will be my year to do greater things and i will
Hey , i want to look great this year coz normally iam not so muscular and ripped and my body tends to gain fat all the time…no matter what i do the last pounds stay there…This year inshallah iam going to lose that flab and add muscle>>
I want to look like something better than normal because i want to prove to myself that i can do it.
I want to be one of the small group of people in the world that people want to look like and respect because of their bodies and what they have acheived.
I want to look and be better than the norm because I enjoy the way I look, feel, and act compared to others. I take pride in my sucess and enjoy working out, while most people hate working out and it does not even cross their minds. I also like showing people the progress I have and the discipline I have with working out and my diet. Working out also improves other activities in my life and attitude.
I want something beyond the norm because over time I have training I haven’t gained what I thought I would. I expected to see me getting stronger and bigger, and in certain way I did it, but not as I wanted to. I got gaining soem muscle mass, I got gaining some strength but I really want to increase my muscular mass, I’ve always been a skinny guy and that doesn’t like me so much
To me normal equates to being average and anyone can be average. I’ve never considered myself average or have had average goals. This is why I want to take my training and diet to the limit in 2010 for the best body possible, I was something way beyond average!!
This thinking not only implies to my body, but to my business thinking as well.
I want to look better than “normal” to inspire myself and others that they can do the same. In 2008, I went from doing 5K’s to running my first Marathon ( Tahoe), and my first Ultra Marathon ( 50K), and this inspired many people I know to try and do the same. I found this very rewarding. I lost a lot of weight which inspired another old friend of mine to do the same. He looks now better than I do. Achiving something great, something inspiring, which is beyond the norm improves my quality of life in ways that I can not really explain, including inspiring others to do the same.
Because I refuse to be the 60yr old guys, unable to tie my own shoe. My motivation for excelling is more about preparing for the future. My parents always tell me “when you get 50, thing start breaking down. Just wait until 40″ and so forth. I refuse to let that happen. My aim is to push myself “above normal” to put myself into a life and lifestyle that will alleviate most of the problems people have in their later ages.
The selfish side is I wanted to get notice. It’s an amazing feeling going back to home and get complements from people who hadn’t seen you in 10 years. They are just floored with the changes I’ve done, and I’m not through; I want to floor people that *do* see me regularly. I just have to get past this skinny-man genetics.
And I want to do it to show others you CAN do it. Everybody thinks you’re bound by your genetics (both skinny and obese). But nobody really realizes you can manipulate things for the better. If a 135lb guy can become your next Men’s Health cover — that’ll sure shake things up. :)

“Normal” is obviously relative to everyone reading this. I’m not defining ‘above normal’ as an actual person like Arnold’s physique.
Answer this question based on YOUR version of “beyond normal.” What does that look like and why do you want that?
I feel like I am supposed have a WAY beyond normal body… And I’ve just been settling for the boring “status quo” because it’s easy. Ready to step out of that safe, boring, easy place.., and into something much greater than the norm!
First, where are all the women out there who want to look better than ‘normal’?
I want to be the best looking body in my gym, no matter that I am older than many, have more kids than many, etc. I take pride in my appearance and it is such an ego boost when someone comes up to you at the gym especially and asks what you do to look like you do. I like helping others and want to use what I have learned about health, exercise and nutrition to help them as well.
I want to set a terrific example for my children of how you can be an intelligent successful wife and mom and still be smoking hot.
I have a simple goal for the year – I want to be able to do three complete sets of 8 pull-ups. 18 months ago I started a journey of increased resistance training and decreased running, saying I wanted to be able to do an unassisted pull-up. Today I can do a set of 4 and 2 sets of 3. This year I want to take it all the way.
I want to get the results I am after so I can look my family in the face and myself in the eyes and know without a shadow of a doubt that any goal I set I crush. I can’t tell my kids to give it everything they’ve got if I dont
The reason I want to be something more than average next year is to show others what really can be done with the human body if you really want it enough. This has been shown throughout the history of human beings and I would never be happy to just be average. I love the way I feel about it and the confidence it brings me, I also know when others see it they will have aspirations to be the same, hopefulyl I can surface these aspirations and make a positive change in that person :)
I want people to realize that fat loss and muscle gain are a reality that can be achieved by anyone. I have been struggling with my weight for a very long time and have never had any muscle definition. I think a lot of respect comes with looking good and I would like to be the guy that people point to and say wow you look good, How did you get that way. There is a lot of power in learning.
On a personal level, I want to become greater that what I am now because of the positive feedback of results and motivation. I’ve been really noticing results coming in now, and that continues to drive me to be the best that I can be, both in the gym and outside in my daily activities. With the changes I make in myself, I have become more confident, more assertive, and less like the nameless ’shadow’ role that I always took, being ‘one of the crowd’. Now, I get noticed, and I take measures to make sure my work is noticed as well. It feels great, and I want to take this to the next level to really feel good physically, mentally, and socially.
I want to be better than normal, because frankly, normal is pretty lame these days. I want people to see me on the beach and mistake me for a 30 year old (I am now 55). Currently they think I am about 35 until they see a few wrinkles and gray hair. in 2010 I want to look like the athelete I never was when I was younger, because my genetics held me back.
A sense of accomplishment reinforces my motivation and looking greater than normal is a physical manifestation of that accomplishment. The struggle involved also helps me to deal with the challenges I face in other areas of my life.
The point is, you only have one life, one opportunity, and it is really up to you what you want to make out of it. If you want to accept what are really the expectations and limitations of others, you will never reach your full potential, or demonstrate to others that the only real limits are the limits we place on ourselves. And, PLEASE quit assuming that the only people who read your stuff are guys!
I want something beyond the norm, because for years I have been complacent with ’short bursts’ of commitment. 2010 is my year to achieve what I dream of achieving… I WILL succeed.
Simply stated, to be an example to my family. I want to instill in my daughter that her perceptions and preconceived notions of what she is capable of will limit the opportunities that life will present to her. My example hopefully will help adjust her mindset.
2010 is going to be the year that I finally defeat Type 2 diabetes. I have been a type 2 diabetic for 18 years (it started out as gestational diabetes when I got pregnant with our first son). I have been overweight my entire life and sometimes it seems like it is genetically impossible for me to be thin. I will not accept that and I am going to break through that mindset and prove to myself and my sons that you can do anything that you set your mind to – as long as you don’t give up. I have lost 40 pounds so far and I am about 20 pounds away from my goal weight but I have hit a plateau. I refuse to give up. With God’s help I am going to defeat Type 2 diabetes and reach my goal weight in the year 2010.
I want to get into the most amazing shape of my life and push myself way beyond what i’m used to. Regardless, of what people say of my genetics. I refuse to believe I cant look absolutely amazing because of genetics.
I want to look BETTER than aveage, NOT look like the average. I want people to look at me because I’m above normal. I want to gain the confidence I need to succeed in and out of the gym. In 2010 I want to take my fitness to and beyond the next level and show myself there are no boundaries!
I have 8 children and poor health. In my mind the only answer is to blow past the norm and become a “world class athelete” in order to be a good dad and to just get out of bed every day and be there for my wife and kids. You have no idea what it feels like to miss a ball game or an awards assembly just because you do not have the strength or enegy to get up and go.
For me, working out is very painful, but getting stronger lets me avoid the mental pain of missing out on life. To be honest how I look is only a measure of how I feel. and I want to feel better than the norm for someone with my illness.
I want to look better. I want to show everyone around me that I can do anything, and there is nothing impossible when you are consistent.
Second of all, having a good body will make me confident of myself, a good looking body will make me someone special among the others.
And my goal for the year 2010 is to become just like you Vince.
First … if you aren’t growing, you’re dying. THis is mentally, emotionally and physically. I choose to constantly grow better.
Second … I will become the “Poster Child” for all guys pushing 60 years old and beyond to see what is physically possible; that they can have a great body and a great life
Third … I want my own kids and my grandkids to think their dad/grandpa is the “norm” and all the rest are just trying to catch up … if they can!
Finally … I want to role model excellence for my employees, my business coomunity and fitness support network. I can only do that by being the best.
Normal sucks! It’s like allowing a draw in the Stanley Cup final to stand. Beige and worthless. I have always stood out as a kid in EVERYTHING I did, Why stop while on a roll? I find joy in the pain I suffer, because the prize is much bigger. In my view, normal people are an abomination to life and I am certainly not!
I have been working on inner self for awhile. I see people taking notice and being inspired by my changes. Now, I think it is time to work on my outer self. I want to inspire others to take charge of their life.
I am a very short guy. Only 5′0” tall. Don’t laugh. I used to let that bother me. Now, I am taking control. I am going to pack on the muscle and lose this fat.
2010 is going to be a start of a new life for me and others around me.
I want to personally rise above the norm because I have been overweight for a long time and I feel people have just assumed that is all I will ever be. I not only want to lose weight I want to be an example for so many others, to let them no that no matter how out of shape you are, no matter what size or age, that is not what you have to be stuck with. I feel that underneath all of this there is a strong and healthy person waiting to come out.
Life is going by so fast I don’t want to waste anymore of it not being all God meant for me to be
I want to look better than the norm because I believe that with hard work and perserverence it is possible to achieve the body of my dreams and I would like to be a positive role model like Vince DelMonte to other people. In order to help
other people who struggle I must do what it takes in 2010 to go beyond average.
I want to look above average to prove everyone that ever told me that I couldn’t do it wrong. I’ve already made huge gains but 2010 will go beyond everything that I have doneso far. I figure that I only have around 1-90 years to live so why not do something that others have not? I never going to be satisfied with average.
I want to surpass what is considered as normal because, it is true that there are people who are satisfied with simple things but in order to be more than better we have to evolve and go past beyond those simple things and I know that it will not be easy but in the end, all the hard work will be seen through me and I will be able to help others to surpass themselves too as it said often: to change the world we must start by changing ourselves as individuals.
I come from a family of diabetics, i have friends who have diabetes, I work out to not be like my family. I am also sick of hearing the excuse “I cant get healthy no matter what I do” but meanwhile I see patrons of the gym walk in, get on the treadmill, walk for 5 minutes, then leave. Also sick of seeing people who complain about weight problems and then find mcdonalds wrappers everywhere. I want to avoid the normal “US is just full of obese people” and just plain look good. Some people have something to offer, some people dont. I want my body to be something I have to offer. I work out as much as I can now, because if I get a family, I might not have time.
Vince, for me to go beyond is the prove for myself that if I want to achieve something I can. The test for my strong will and determination.i do not look bad but I would like to be slimmer and more energetic.
Psychology and medicine define normal as “an absence of abnormality”. Water and electricity take the path of least resistance. So do “normal” people. In our society today, normal is fast food and a sedentary life. I do not like looking like a potato. I do not like feeling like a potato.
The reason I want to go beyond normal to what I will call “Super-healthy-natural-Normality” is multi-faceted. Yes, I like the respect it brings, I like the fact that I am the one who benefits directly, though others benefit indirectly, also. I like the respect a fit body commands. Mostly, as I approach 50 years, quicker than I once thought, I find it more difficult to keep the athletic figure I once had. When I lose self-respect to the potato, it creeps into other areas of my life as well. I want to go beyond to prove to myself and others around me that healthy living and a vivacious strong body is not just for younger people and a person does not have to swallow unhealthy chemicals to achieve the body of their dreams. Every aspect of life is interwoven and affects the other areas. The gym is something I do for myself that positively affects other aspects of my life.
I do not want to age wishing I had spent more time being healthy as a young person just to find out I have to pay with poor health in old age. I want to keep writing health checks and living strong the next 50 years! 2010 is the year to achieve the next step!
I want to have a fantastic set of six pack abs because I want to be the dude walking in the beaches of Bali during summer who gets all the flattery and attention from my family, friends, and of course the hot girls
also because I want to show others that Nothing is Impossible so keep trying your 10/10 effort and you will get 10/10 results that will make you really proud of yourself, and probably make your family/ friends proud too
I want to go beyond the norm and look better in 2010 because, following the old cliche, I want to take the road less traveled by. I dont want to follow what everyone else is doing. The most successful people in the world are those who go beyond the norm and bring in their will/strength/ and desire to be the absolute best they can be and to enjoy their life to the max. I want to be one of those people.

I really like your 3rd point. that’s awesome.
guys…and gals… these are AWESOME. Post yours next…
The reason is simple, with my results so far, I have inspired my sister to workout with more intensity and my father to start using weights for the first time in his life at 52, it just feels amazing to be inspiration. Also, I’m working on making my body a machine so whether I have to lift a heavy crate or defend myself or someone in a fight, my body can go the extra mile and pass with flying colors.
Either way I don’t mind either looking hot in the beach, hahahahaha.
First of all, being normal isn’t an option! Who honestly wants to be the average, “normal” person? I’ve spent my whole life striving to be the best because, in my mind, second place is only the first loser.
Second, there is immense self-satisfaction when people notice you’re not just a “normal” guy. My biggest pet peeve is fads. I can’t STAND them! It’s just a bunch of people going with the flow because someone said it was cool. When you’re not like everyone else, it stands out, and people will either be impressed or jealous.
Third and finally, it doesn’t make logical sense to be satisfied with second best. If you are satisfied with not being the best, you either have no faith in yourself, or you have given up on one or more of your dreams, for whatever reason.
I want something beyond the norm because I am more than the average sellout. I am the best at what I do, and if I am not, I do everything in my power to fix that. Like I said before, being normal isn’t an option.
I want to be strong and healthy on past midlde age and into my golden years. I have seen what has happened to my dad and others in my family when they just stop trying. I have also seen what happened with an Uncle of mine who got serious and looks pretty damn good at 50.
Im not 40 yet, but Im getting there, I have daughters who are either dating or will soon, I want those young men to be intimidated as hell when they look at their dates old man.
Last but no tleast I want to make sure my wife is always proud and turned on by her man. Kinda fun when they cant keep their hands off ya.
I started on that path to just not trying and I feel so much better when Im putitng the effort in to look and feel better than most guys around me. Im not there on the looks yet, but I will get there. I do feel LOT better though.

Hey Michelle… I don’t assume that. I just assume the ladies don’t mine me calling everyone “guys”. Last time I checked about 40% of my readership is ladies so I’m always aware there is a lovely lady on the other side reading my stuff. Thanks for the check up :)
I want to inspire those around me to start to care for their bodies. There are so many people now who need some inspiration to start exercising, and eating in a way which improves their quality of life. I have found that if I work hard and lead the way in improving my body – others will follow.
to go beyond is not only a matter of health but of endurance and compromise with yourself .it is a way to achieve cetaind goals not only for you ,but for being and example for other taht things can be achieved going beyond your limits tehre are no limits .
I want to look like SUPER-BODY in 2010 .
Not Just for showing my muscles or something like this ..
First : I wanna do it ’cause our prophet Mohammed ( peace be upon him ) has Recommended us that the Strong Muslim is better than the weakest one .
’cause I will be able to help others , make peace , and do good .
Second : ’cause one of who i love told me to do that !
Third : I want to be in my best shape ever !.
P.S : I don’t talk english every time … so sorry if i made some mistakes °_° :) .
I want to show people(especially the guys at the gym) that you don’t NEED steroids to achive the body of your dreams….too many guys are abusing steroids
In a culture where fat, sick and lazy have become the norm, I think now more than ever we are being called to reevaluate “who we are” on a deep and primal level. It’s as Bruce Lee so eloquently stated years ago, “the function and duty of a quality human being is the sincere and honest development of one’s potential.”
Who we are internally becomes expressed externally through the appearance of our body and what we do with our lives. To me it’s not about being superior than anybody else, but more about being an inspiration to others and being better than I used to be.
Not just physically, but mentally, spiritually, emotionally, financially, and socially. The more you have, the more you can give back.
1. Because I – like each one of us – have the unique chance to make our lives in the way only we can, and so I want to make the ultimate out of it
2. Because strength is one of those very few things that is ALWAYS desirable
3. Because the stakes are higher for health than ever before in history, and probably ever after: if you can keep healthy for a few more decades, you may catch the great transition, when aging is conquered and the future opens to you
4. Because transforming yourself is supremely exhilirating and gives you a feeling of magical power
If the norm was to be ‘obese’ that doesn’t mean l would want to be obese. Fitting the norm would be letting myself down. l want to be strong and healthy. l want to look good to feel good. The norm may be a stepping stone for some but it certainly isn’t a stopping point!
First off, I’m a nerd. There’s nothing wrong with being a nerd, but the stereotypes that go with it (even for female nerds) are not flattering. I want to blow people out of the water when they realize what I do and how I “look nothing like it.” I want to combat my genetics and prove to everyone around me(especially my poor mom, who I’m encouraging to work with me on this) that if I can do it, so can they. Finally, I know how freakin’ amazing I am… but my physique and physical prowess has always paled in comparison to my mental abilities.
I wanna be the guy that walks in to the room and people just get the message of “don’t mess with that guy” The field I work in requires me to be in control of situations that are often out of control and so many people in my field are over weight and out of shape. I wanna set the tone from the start, that I am not one of those guys, and that I will be able to take anything you throw at me and dish it back ten fold. It’s much easier to do this with an initial impression than having to take your chances and test it. I also want to be an inspiration to those I work with to do that same. Thanks for the support and assistance in reaching our goals!
First of all, i don’t want to offend noone.
When that’s said:
By reading all of these comments, it seems that ppl workout and become physically awesome shape is for the people arround them and make them think it’s possible, or make people spin their heads and think “damn”.
It seem to be a great reason and sure doesn’t hurt to be a good person :)
Bur personally i do it absolutely for me only. I want to get to the point where i can think to myself “i don’t have to worry about my body, cus i sure as hell got it”. I want to go down the streets shirtless and make my own head spin to a mirror in a mirror shop if i walk by one.
I would gladly be the rolemodel for friends, family etc. but i’m not doing it for them, i’m doing it 110% for me and if they want to follow, i sure got a spot for them in my moving train.
Sorry for the spelling, hope it still makes sense :)
I want to look better than the norm because I believe life is too short to be average. I want to be someone that people can look up to for advice. I want to be able to defeat my skinny genetics that I’ve been struggling with for so long because I want to prove to myself that I can change what and who I am for the better no matter how difficult it becomes. But most of all, I want to look better than the norm because the “norm” today sucks! Too many people go through their lives unfulfilled and I don’t want to be one of them!
On a level I feel I’m not good enough.
I’ve bought into all the ideas my society has of success.
Ideas that are not based on reality.
I measure myself against those ideas.
No matter how much I do its never enough.
I’m hoping that once I achieve what society has deemed as success I will then feel accepted an worthy.
All I really want to do is change the way I feel.
My ladder is up against the wrong wall.
All these things I’m chasing are illusory. None of them will ever give me what I’m really looking for.
But yet like a moth to a flame I’m still so hypnotised along with the rest of the masses.
It only seems normally because everyone is under the same spell.
Everyone is suffering from the same condition.
I will look inspire people better than the average person because I am commited to ME, I work hard to provide for my kids and I work harder so they will be proud to walk down the street with me.
In 2010 I will find a man that wants me for keeps too, and an A1 body will me the icing on the cake to get him :-)
Love your work Vince.
xx
My reason is very simple. I want to prove to myself that I am capable of achieving goals that I set out for myself. And as I grow physically(muscularity) I want to grow closer to God. I know that doesn’t seem related, but since I’m working to achieve my desired physique, I want to put in all the same effort to achieve the man God wants me to be.
Building my physic is important because of a number of reasons:
1.) Health and proper posture.
2.) Strength and athletic skill.
3.) Martial Arts abilities.
4.) Working to achieve my goals in life-physical development influences the way I will achieve my goals-meaning that if I have good physical strength and body health, then that state will help me in my quest to achieve all my goals.
5.) Girlfriend may appreciate a good looking physic.
6.) My health is important on a national level-the more people that are healthy and in proper shape, the better the over-all state of the nation.
7.) Patriotic duty-in case of a war, I’m prepared to serve/fight/win for the war.
8.) Family-if I have a family, my progeny will appreciate a healthy father.
Because 2010 is my year!!!!
Not only do I deserve it but so do all the people around me deserve it!!!
I want to show others what is possible when others say it cant be done!!
The only way is to lead is from the front and I dont feel comfortable being
in the millions of people who say I cant do this I cant do that ITS TO HARD!!!
Come on people believe in yourselves :)
Why be normal when you can achieve ELITE status? I want to be a walking Picaso piece so people can see how serious I am with my fitness goals. For me its more than just being healthy. I have a personal goal to participate in photo shoots just like Vince. I am willing to do whatever it takes, LEGALLY (no drugs), to achieve my fitness goals and aspirations in 2010.
1) I amaze people with my knowledge of physics so why not amaze them with my body and even more so with my strength?
2) I love when chicks who would normally be out of my league take notice of my physique and compliment me.
3) Bigger, stronger, guys in the weight room take notice when I walk in.
4) The most important reason is I have to be in the best shape possible because of ROTC and the Army. There is no way around being better than the other millions of college students not in ROTC without being in amazing shape.
I’ve been stuck in this bodybuilding rut for almost 10 years now, and I’m sick and tired of all the bullshit so many people telling me how I should workout and diet. But nothing seems to work! After reading and studying your material, I’m seriously willing to take my body to the next level in 2010.
Your material makes so much sense to me, if only this was available 10 years ago!
This question is a symbol of everything i do in life. Not 50%, not 75%, not 100% but always 100% plus.
I do everything this way because i have pride in every aspect of my life, I want more for myself and my family and i love pushing myself to see how far i really can go giving me a sense of worth and achievement.
I chalk it up to an inner response from having being abused physically and emotionally when I was younger, some people can rise above it and some can’t.
I want to prove to everybody that I have and it makes me feel like I have beaten it all for a happier life.
Looking awesome makes you feel awesome and that’s for me…
This is for ME! Getting my body to where I want it is just one of the things I am changing in my life. Everything I do improves my life, and shows my little daughter that anything can be accomplished if you just put your mind to it! No excuses! And I WILL succeed.
To be honest I find it hard to explain why I want ‘more…’ It’s instinctual. Self belief is everything and once you commit yourself whole-heartedly, you will succeed. “Success breeds success” and we only need to look at each others comments to see that.
you want to become that one beyond your norm because i think…
you alway’s will fantasyse over somebody beyond your pysique and norm
you alway’s wannt to be more than you are already. offcourse you can be stadisfide but…. you alway’s need something extra’s
As a 14 year old male, I am surrounded by jocks and on the other side, obesity. I am traditionally unatheletic and I hate the status quo above most things. As a homosexual attending highschool, being as confident as I have become as a result of working out is a major plus. Our society needs new role-models; I will be that role model. I will not be a body builder, I will just be shredded beyond belief. I will live my life to my utmost capacity, and never remain passive.
I want to go beyond the norm because I want to be the best man I can be for the love of my life, Ceci. <3
Also to inspire other people to believe that their dreams are all possible.
I want to get of course a hot girl, as well as look like a real warrior for my mma and strike fear when my opponent sees me and to make it big time. I know I can do this and that I will prove anyone wrong who thinks not because I also used to be quite a skinny vinnie as well. People are already saying from school who haven’t seen me for years “you look more buff than before” and this will only continue
Theres no better feeling than walking down the street or to a restaurant and knowing and seeing the difference this training has changed my shape and body! Toned arms, legs, in great shape. most especially when on hols on the beach in a bikini! At 38 i’m in the besyt shape of my life .
Love all your training vids Vince!! Thank you!
I want to look better than the norm because of what it represents to me: discipline, hard work, and the ability to cut through. It’s what I get from seeing the visible results of this that truly counts, because it strongly empowers me in other ways, in altogether different places. One way or another, in one form or another, we all have mountains to move; this is mine.
I want people to ask me “how do you stay like that? How did you get to this point?” So that I can help them just like I have been helped. I want to be able to help my friends, but not until I am living proof of whats possible.
well first off normal is just BORING.. settling for normal is cheating yourself of all the wonderful shit this life has to offer… i love the people i surround myself with and i feel that i wouldnt be appreciating them enough if i gave them someone who was just plain normal..don’t you think your friends, loved ones and even your enemies deserve someone worth knowing of a high caliber both in mind and body? i know mine do =] No offense to normal people, but you guys are the standard. And seriously… why be normal when you can be a bronze golden god walking down the beach with the cool wind blowing and hot sand crackling under your feet with everybody wondering…who is this guy? with my arrogant side saying “suck on this bitches” and my humble side saying “i shouldn’t have wrote that last part…”
peace, love and remember to wash with dove,
Izak ;)
I want to achieve something greater than normal so when someone tells me that I look good or that I work hard in the gym, I can say “Thanks, I’ve worked hard to get here” and actually mean it deep down inside. This has happened a few times in the gym before and I say thanks to be polite, but what I’m really thinking is, “Are you kidding? Have you seen me in the shower? If I’m working so hard, why is this roll of flab still hanging around my waist?”
I wanna go above the norm, to try and prove to myself that it’s not impossible to attain it. If you can go above and beyond the norm, than it’s also possible to do so in other aspects of your life. There’s actually no end to it, it’s a real positive attitude to have. When others say “oh that’s impossible”, you can say “no it isn’t”.
I want to be beyond the norm. I want to be greater because all my life I’ve been the skinny kid at school. Ive never been very confident in myself always wanting to be bigger more muscular. I just want it for me it will make me feel better about myself, and boost my confidence.
i went from 145 to 180 in about 3 months. my goal is to get to at least 210 and have a crazy body where everybody can look at it and say danmmmm. i’m a skinny hardgainer so you already know how hard it is to gain weight but i made it and want to be at least 210 with a crazy six packs. i’m only 5′11.
There are few reasons, at the start of the year i weighed 125kgs (177cm tall) now i weigh 78 kgs and look fairly good but i’ve come this far and iam determined to go all the way and lose all the fat around my stomach and get hard abs, which will happen next year (iam almost there). I suffered from depression for years and working out ,getting fit and eating healthly has helped me with this so much that i dont want to stop because this lifestyle helps me control the depression. I’ve been single for a while now and getting my body in great shape will give me the confidence to get back on the bike so to speak, and not to mention that it just feels bloody fantastic. So yeah bring on 2010, here i come.
I have always worked on in terms of my education. But I neglected my body. Now I feel that it’s time to remedy that. I want people to see that I put the same effort into my body that I put into everything else that I do.
Simply becaus i want to mack heads tirn wen i walk past and not to be invisabil but the senter of atnchen. Im all was the one that gos unnotest so i want to be exstraodenery beter then evrey one els
A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him, i have taken a lot from people(negativity), seen as an average person, and honestly it dint get me far because i let people criticizing me put me down..starting from today till 2012..when the world ends..okay bad joke :D.., IL harness all that and with a positive and determined out look achieve an above average success and boy oh boy that 6 pack quest is around the corner, and this coming year i will live by these quotes; “Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.” Abraham Lincoln..p.s is it me or does Vince look like Uncharted Drakes fortune main character Nathan Drake..that’s a good topic to discuss :D
My Birth Sign is a Lion, so pride is a part of me. The second thing is that I want perfection in a lot of things (not always a good thing). So true working out I’m looking for a confirmation and being beyond the norm.
I want to blast past the normal body so I can feel like I did last night seeing a friend I have not seen in five years when he said “Holy Crap – you look ripped!” It made me very proud of my work and dedication. Being fit is a huge confidence booster that propels success in every other area of one’s life – I want more.
Vince normal is everywhere. The truly great people in life are the ones that are not normally and go against grain. Most people now are living in a dream world where they can behave (such as their eating and drink habits) anyway they want and still be healthy and attractive (lean).
I am Endomorph unfortunately and I used to get made fun of because of my weight. It took a lot of hard work and many years to get it right but now I am lean and muscular. I go to war everyday and fight for my lean body. My mind tells me that there are limits, but my heart says, “NO FIGHT ON”. Over 80% of the population has average or like me subpar genetics. I want to become a trainer that helps people like me achieve their goals and inspire them not to be main stream. How can I do this with a normal body? Truth is a normal body won’t do and achieving something mind blowing would truly set me apart.
Ariving at 60 in 2010 realized i need to keep and built a good set of muscles if i want to continue at almost the same speed.
All my life overweight but runing and active and in shape.
Time to lose the pounds, gain muscles and work the weights, since my knees are paying the price of abuses on runing overweight.
Wanted a lean body all my life, but was satistied with my look as long as the runing keeped me in shape.
Will see if the weights are as good as runing to keep me in shape?
I want to push beyond my genetic potential because I don’t settle for being “normal”. I want people to look at me and be like “wow, wasn’t that the guy who used to be 130 lbs at highschool graduation?”
I NEED something to strive for to enjoy life and transforming my body is something I can strive for FOREVER. Like you said yesterday, there are no such thing as limits, unless you put them on yourself.
I have no choice but to gain 40 lbs of muscle AND cut to 155 in a year as I’m starting to compete in BJJ so that is exactly what I’m going to do.
My reason for wishing to obtain superior control over my bodily processes is related directly to my deeper development. Improvement of my worn-out body is by no means a sufficient condition for meeting that ultimate goal, but it remains nevertheless a necessary one.
Plainly, this body will be doing a whole lot of nothing, permanently, starting soon enough -very soon, perhaps, for all I know. Nothing about its maintenance -never mind its potential for beauty- is really very important at all in itself.
This does not change the fact that here and now, I am treading water in the contingent world, the world of means, the s***-choked sea of causes and effects. As long as I’m here, I will not fail the Creator’s trust and… simply let go, and go down.
*I* *need* *my* *body*… to do what needs to be done in the time left. The pain that ham-strings every effort, sabotages every relationship, blots out every productive thought: that pain must be controlled and overcome, and the needs for strength and agility must be met.
Every day, you discuss the means to these ends, and I am listening, keenly.
I want to push beyond because I want to break the pattern of “average” in my family. I still have a bit to go, but I have a great sense of achievement for where I have gotten to so far.
I want something beyond the norm because that helps me becoming a better man. I’ve always loved to have a ripped body like i seen on the magazines and movies.
Having the body like i want will increase my levels of self-esteeme wich leads to be more successful in many aspects of my life.
I have a feeling 2010 is going to be a good year! ;)
I wanted to push beyond my genetic potential so my friends amd family can see that you are not limited by what you were born with and you can become something greater
I do not want to be the norm, as the ‘norm’ at my age is pretty bad. I want to reach beyond. My reasons can be related back to your 2009 itemized list. I am attracted to a muscular fit body, and not the pudgy ones that I see, so it falls into the point ‘be who you are attracted to, to attrack the same’….or words to that effect.
As far back as I can remember, I indulged in the pleasures of my senses. Youthfulness made me feel I had all the time in the world. Then when I hit my early 40’s I realized the window-of-opportunity to see what my body could do was closing. Youth was no longer an excuse to wait.
And so I started lifting. Of course when I started my default philosophy was reps…just do it. I found out in my late 40’s, I wasted those cause I didn’t have the form right. At 50, I am more mellow and open to do it right in a more relaxed manner. But I digress. I do this because when I challenged my body, it surprised the hell out of me. I see the difference and I want more. It has changed my paradigm. No more do I concentrate on breaking bad habits that inhibits my exercise routine, now I am concentrating on the rewards of exercising. I think those will eventually be enough to break those latent bad habits (A six-pack is looking more enticing than ice-cream at night). I do this for me…and slowly, oh so slowly, it is becoming addictive. And damn….I like it!
I want to look better than normal so i can feel good about myself, perform better in sports, and most of all get the attention form the ladies. It just seems like you could have a better life all huge and ripped.
I want to push beyond my genetics because I don’t want to be remembered at school as the tall skinny guy, but I want people to say and also remember, oh look, remember that tall buff dude manuel, he must have put time and effort in to achieving that body wow he must be real hard working gosh I wanna be jus like him!
I strive past the norm frankly because there is no reason not to. When I enter the room I want to command respect, not just because my body is physically stunning, but everyone will know that I have my shit so well together that I can dedicate all of this energy into an area that the majority of others settle on and make excuses. Pair my body with the great strives I make in all areas of my life and I belong in the top 1% of men in the world in terms of success. I aim to show how great a man can be when he takes charge of his life and perfects all of the details that go into living.
Hello, I think that strength and confidence has to be in every person, and there is no doubt that everyone wants it, but I also think that the person who gets the confidence will benefit from it and show to people arounf him that they can make it to the next level. I think I am that person.
I want something beyond the norm or is something greater because I understand that this will make me pass the physical attraction test (with flying colors) with the woman of my dreams. I also knew that achieving ‘beyond the norm’ will mean I can achieve success with other areas of my life (Marriage, Business, etc)
Why There is a lot of reason To get notice but for better health if I or I well get better shape than now to give a lot of extra stamina and protection from the colds or any flu’s do to having asthma and pneumina since born I need the extra protection. Thanks Vince and have a good Christmas and New year to All :)
Having been in fair shape most of my life, the birth of my twin boys when I was 49 made me realize how important my health really is. I must be there for them for long as possible. I began some serious weight training 2 years ago and have put on a substantial amount of muscle. However, lately I’ve found that no matter what I do, I can’t break through the plateau and move on to the next level. At 56 years of age, I have seriously considered doing it with drugs but want to keep healthy. Your system seems to be what I’m looking for to help me break this plateau and move me on to possibly competing. Can’t be done with my current method. Hope you can help this “old guy” get what he wants out of life. Thanks.
I want to be greater than the norm, because I know I am a role model to both kids and adults at my job, and I need to set the best example, I can, physically, and mentally.
First of all I want to gain some more respect from my school mates and family; everyone basically. Second, to impress more girls. And last of all, I want to look like arnie so I am dedicated to achieving near that. I know it will take while but i’ll do it.
I want to be more than ‘normal’ because yesterday was the past, tomorrow’s the future, and todays a gift, thats why it’s called the present. You will only enjoy the present if you cherish it (your body) and by bringing it to perfection, the present will enjoy you. I don’t want to sit by and watch life when I know I could be working harder to make more of a difference to myself and people around you.
I want to take my potential to a new level, this is more than just having a great body, but to become full circle spiritually and physically. To convince the younger people that steroids is not the way to go and that it’s buildt upon a lie to use them!
I want to look better than the norm because i will feel better about myself, i’ll be healthy, i’ll also be more confident and get more respect. Achieving this will be an undeniable proof of my hardwork and patience. There’s nothing more rewarding than to be the best that you can be. And that applies to all aspects of life.
i have no limits, this year is going to be the start of the rest of my life and im going to acheive everything i want to acheive cuz i have no limits.. that word doesnt even enter my vocabulary. im guna get ripped and get a visible six pack and bigger chest, arms and shoulders, i will do whatever it takes
You can cure diabetes in 30 days on a supervised raw food diet. There is a myriad of info on the net, but feel free to get intouch with me if you require more info.
I have never agreed with 98% of the world’s people. When I’m told this is the way to go based on ‘that’s what everyone is doing or thinks’ I go the other way.
Too many people ‘think’ they are right about me, and I have heard way too many times the words “oh give up” “it’s too hard” “just be like everyone else” and then see a bunch of unsatified people. I want to stand out from the crowd, family and friends and prove it CAN be done if you want it bad enough.
My purpose in life is to be a vessel of light, love, inspiration and passion for myself and others…
With my desire to assist others to attain optimal health and wellbeing it is quintessential that I am a living example of that. My physical appearance is an outward example of my inner world, and in 2010 I will continue to evolve and fine-tune both of these areas.
When I’m back on stage this year, people are going to be totally blown away and entertained by the spirit and soul of a champion :-D
All the best to everyone who is breaking beyond the norm…
I’ve always prided myself that I am somehow different, have not ever excepted the average and I certainly will not be starting now!
Before I began your program, a close friend of mine asked me, “You’ve been paying loads of money for your gym for 4 years and what do you have to show for it?” Presently with your program, as I strive for my goals each and every week, I keep in mind that I’m pushing to be a walking example of continuing commitment, dedication, and hard work. And from that, maybe I’ll inspire someone else to want the same thing.
It’s never ever struck me before that I should question why I always aim for way above average. To me, it’s something natural – people either want it or they don’t. I’ve talked to many people who tell me that they wish they could be better than average, but it’s “just toooo hard”. Well, there you go! Above average people want it so badly that they just do it, no questions asked. Average people stop right there, because they don’t want it badly enough.
I worry about the health of our people, especially in the US – walking around and seeing people with front butts has always been more sad than laughable for me. 2010 will be a very special year for me because that’s when I’ll be launching my internet fitness business, and at the same time, rocketing my own transformation to unprecedented levels. My goal is to reach out to as many people as I can, and try and to help them realize that average stinks.
There’s a quote I read everyday… Has some relevance here:
“The people that are successful in life are the ones willing to do today the things others won’t do, in order to have the things tomorrow that other won’t have”.
Why I want to better than normal? It is because I want to be an achiever. I’m sick with peoples who always underestimate me. Saying that I’m a person that will never achieve anything. Some more I want to be “attention grabber” too in the gym. I like the feeling to be one of a kind, VIP, special, and in different class because of my hard work. I can be what I want to be.
Personally, for me, ‘norm’ is just not good enough. I love pushing myself harder in every area of my life…no growth, no life. At 50, I want to prove to myself and my clients that there are no limitations, no excuses, to achieving the very best; that hard work is worth the end result. I want my husband and children to be proud of their wife/mom as an example of solid health in and out–to leave a legacy…
Simple: I’ve been trying to lose this extra flabs and it doesnt go away……….extra flabs makes me look like a giant pear………..
Dont want that, want that 6 Packed cakes on my tummy…
Because 2012 is just around the corner and I need to be in top shape to take care of protect my family. Not from the end of the world, but from all the idiots who think it will end in a flash of light. The world is changing and I want to be in the best shape of my life for whatever may come. I’m motivated by those I care about. And if, God willing, my life remains as happy and blessed as it is now, then I will have a wonderful body and outstanding abilities to show for it. My Ultimate goal for 2010 is to truly live, something I have denied myself for far too long.
I want to look beyond the norm to slap all the doctors and everyone else that told me i could never be physically active ever again. There is nothing that gives you more self worth then accomplishing and especially one that affects your everyday life to the extent of blowing past your genetic potential. I am slowly achieving it but i want to achieve it successfully and in 2010.
I already look better than the norm for my age group, now I want to keep it going to make it better than the norm for someone half my age. That way when I get twice my age I will still be going strong.
I want to look better than the norm because I strongly believe that change has been on this earth since the beginning of time, and change is always for the better not worse, and what I realized that with time we change infact we are becoming smarter, taller and stronger thanks to evolution, but are we realy changing unless we make a difference in somthing, and that when I take this moment to purly from the heart talk about making a difference in my life and these steps that I want to take from you Vince are not just for me they are for me to pass on and change other peoples lives and with one change with the other one person can change the whole world like the whole world can change any of us in a heart beat! I don’t want to right too much only over the normal :].
P.S I’m wrote this from my iPhone, listening to MJ “Man in the mirror” On my way home bus wise =)(and I don’t lie, I’m just like you vinse, i have huge dreams of changing the world, I’m giving and pure spirit and I always have the feeling that I’m a very special person in this ever changing world). Thank you.
When it comes to physical fitness, let’s not forget about mental fitness. The better I look, the better I feel. This is a HUGE boost mentally. My confidence level has skyrocketed. By going further and beyond the norm I create within MYSELF an ora that radiates to everyone I meet. You open doors to a whole new life. A life I am now experiencing for the first time. We only go around once in life. Be the best You can be, Your family will Thank You for it.
I want to look better than normal because lately “normal” seems to be FAT and UNFIT. In that case I absolutely insist on being better than that. In fact I think if you’re not trying to be better than your best all the time then you’re not really trying at all.
2009 was a great year for me and my development, 2010 is going to be even better, I insist on it!!
If I looked greater in 2010 I’d feel better about myself which would influence how I interacted with the world around me. Who I talked with, what I got done, who was attracted to me, etc. I would be confident to face whatever may come because I knew that I was powerful enough to conquer my weight problem.
I want to look better than the norm in 2010 because if I can’t sort my body out, how can I sort the rest of my life out? I want to lead a “better than the norm” life. It starts with getting personal with myself.
I am doing this because I have wanted to be strong w/great chiseled body w/(17 in arms w/alot of veins popping out , veins everywhere) my whole life and will never feel embarrassed in a bathing suit or a tank top ever again starting 6/1/ 2010. I LOVE PHYSICAL WORK, i think that is because I had so many chores to do as a kid. I tried getting a great physique when i was younger (working out 2 hrs a day ,not knowing then that I was over training, for 3 yrs w/minimal results). I was convinced I did not have the genes so I stopped. So of course since I love physical work I’ve been running ever since.
Now I have a system and a pattern ( thanks to Vinny, which I never had before) to accomplish my goal of having a great body .You know what, I CAN DO THIS!
I want to be a role model for my two beautiful daughters. They have seen me transform myself by loosing over 100 lbs. Now I want to impress them even further by getting jacked. I want to turn heads this summer when I’m at the pool and have other guys say to themselves, “I want to be that guy”.
I already have so much more confidence in myself since I’ve lost my weight. But now I need to take it to a new level because I want to step on stage and compete. I’m living proof nothing is impossible if your willing to work for it. Persistence is an under rated quality and one that I have plenty of.
Why do I want something beyond the norm? Because I am worth it..because I have worked hard to get where I am right now and I want to be better..I am going to be better..I will achieve my fitness goals in 2010..I have lost inches and pants sizes..I have gained not only strength but confidence..I will be a strong, confident woman!
I want to look better than “normal” because I don’t want to be “normal”! I want to prove myself I can do more than the norm in everything. I want to push myself to the limit and in my own way, proving wrong those whom want to hold me or tell me theirs is the only way – not only in fitness but in every aspect of life.
A person’s body tells a lot on how they are in life, “Mens sana in corpore sano”! I want to be a living proof that you shouldn’t just stick to “what was given to you” as in some sort of course.
Achieving something beyond the norm is what I want because I want to be known as someone who works for everything they have. John Wooden says it best when he states success as “a peace of mind that is a direct result of the self satisfaction you get from knowing you did your best to become your best that you are capable of becoming.” Nothing could can supersede that definition, and I try to make sure what I receive is what I earn and nothing more. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail, and I make sure I have the peace of mind that only comes from great preparation.
Last year I started working on improving my self image and social skills, this year I started getting fit.
In 2010 I’m going to be the best person I can possibly be, physically and mentally.
i want to look better than just normal to prove to myself that i can- with hard work, with commitment, with desire and the WILL, achieve anything i set my mind on.
this is more for what it means to me- of how i see myself, than how other people see or perceive me. cos ultimately its what you are to YOURSELF thats the most important.
it will prove to me that i am not a failure, and that success is only an armlength away for me not just in fitness, but in LIFE.
so bring on the pain, cos im sure as shit ready for the gain.
In my teens and early 20’s I was 5′10″ 225 lbs of hard muscle. Football, basketball, baseball, martial arts, and hard farmwork had fashioned the body and mind. Now, thirty years later, sporatic workouts, plateaus, bad eating habits, and doing for everyone elseat work and family have worn me out. I need the energy, physique, and mindset beyond the “norm.” Having been there I know what it is like, and now to regain it will be even more so.
the reason i will be striving for being in a better place (i’m not a fan of the idea of becoming “great” or experiencing “greatness”) is everyone has to tools and ability to be better than wherever they are in life. i have mentioned i’m 55 and was never into sports when i was younger. most people this i’m much younger than i am. greatness comes in more ways than looking physically fit. it’s also your character and seeing the greatness in the little things and miracles in life all around us. seriously. so, 2010 will be about striving to be the best and look the best i could be. my attitude seldom gets plateaued…so why should i let my body do that.
I’m in my teens and I truly want a bigger and more definition body.
My friends say that I am pretty tuned already, but on the outside with a shirt on, I look like a scrawny little kid. What I want is a healthy body with muscle definition beyond the “norm”. I am willing to dedicate my time and energy to achieve that goal!
I’m a strong believer in how much we do is how much we get back, so please give us those muscle burning and energy churning plans!
I’m in my teens and I truly want a bigger and more defined body.
My friends say that I am pretty tuned without a shirt, but on the outside with a shirt on, I look like a scrawny little kid.

My goal of looking beyond normal is to set an example to my 5 young children that anything is possible when you put your mind to do it. I was raised with a failure mindset. I am killing those voices that tell me to quit. I fight for my kids, I need to start fighting for me. Now is the time!
I am a 35 year old mother that also battles with autoimmune thyroid and spinal arthritis. These diseases are getting the best of me and have caused a lot of weight gain; until now. I am fighting back to become even BETTER than I was before. I have secretly always wanted to have a body-builder look. Not the grossly over-exaggerated look, but a powerful-make-people-look-twice kind of look.
My husband is your typical ’skinny guy’ even though he was in the US Marines and worked out every day. He is excited to find these new techniques to give himself a ripped & bigger look and push himself beyond his ‘genetic potential’. I am excited too!
I have a lot of folks that are very important to me that have sedentary diseases like CVD, osteoporosis, and diabetes. Being in my 40s and training others in their teens through 60s, I feel pressured to be an example to others and to be a living example of what the body can still do as you age. Getting down to 7% body fat, totally ripped, and feeling better than when I was in my 20s. Also proving how fast high blood pressure and cholesterol can be controlled. There is a misconception out there that bodybuilding is dangerous or unhealthy, when in fact the NATURAL body builders are probably the most healthy in the world (physically and mentally). Helping others also helps calm my passionate temper. : )
I want a body beyond the norm for a few main reasons;
1. I really love playing soccer and my soccer team coach says im really small with
“no power what so ever” im afraid ill lose my place.
2. I am always moving around except for the past few years, and i never fit in so easy because im so used to being where i was before, it would be great if i cud make a good first impression… or get noticed.
3. I hate feeling as though, in anyway, that the generations before where somehow better, it makes me feel sort of uneasy and awkward and in some way
smaller. Surely evolution over time is supposed to make us better and if we
are less of what our ancestors were, that doesnt say very much for us…
Plus with the more freely available nutrition and more information we have more
tools to help us with this goal…
I want to be beyond normal because i want to become unique and an envy of anyone and when I’m beyond normal, average people will idolize me and respect me in terms of how I’m determined that i have reached that body beyond the limits…
Why do I want above the norm? Because I’m worth it. I’ve worked out off and on for years. A few years ago though, I was working out steadily and doing karate. About a year into it all, I really started to see definition but I started having health issues. I’m better now healthwise and want to find that “real me” that I’ve lost. I was striving for and hitting above the norm because it made ME feel special and important. Like I am, like we ALL are. Something I’d forgotten in the rat race we call life. I came out of the “shy shell” I had been in since childhood and found a little more self-confidence.
I’d like to have a body beyond the norm cause a fit chiseled body is a sign of firmness and discipline. It will show others that I stick to what I intend to do and achieve the goal that I set. It is a sign of leadership. people in general attribute fitness beyond norm as a sign of capability and responsibility because they know that getting such a body is not about slacking off once in a while or just lazing around but that it requires focus, determination and will power. And best of all you will inspire people around you and if feels good to have a great body!..
I know that each and everyone one of us is born to greatness. It’s only a matter of choice, whether one wishes to coast along at “average”, or whether one chooses to maximise the potential of the human psyche and physiology. Believing requires a leap of faith; knowing is certainty. Certainty is where all power lies. The human mind is the most powerful tool available to each individual. Whatever you want can be yours, if you know it with certainty. Then your whole life will proceed to ensure that the focus of the mind is achieved.
I KNOW I was born to greatness. How I look in 2010, ensures that others begin to understand this principle and to know that any achievement is possible. I work with adolescents. To illustrate to them, through my fitness and muscle mass that the world is in their hands; that achievement IS possible; that health is a necessity to release and activate the power of the mind.
For most, a plateau is the end-point; for me, it’s the signal that I am entering a new phase of development.
My motivation for wanting to achieve above the norm is that I had two total knee replacements a year ago and came back 6 weeks post op to ride bikes, swim, hike, play golf, and yes, even run! I also lost 50 pounds in the process and committed to a weight resistance program. My experience taught me that I have potential to overcome anything! I am in the field of mental health and as such I am a change agent. If I want others to change I have to model that behavior for them so they can see that I walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
My motivation for doing anything is to be the best or at the very least one of the best at what I do. I have always followed the same basic philosophy of shoot for the moon, and even if I should miss I will still land amongst the stars. And, I enjoy pushing myself to see just what I am capable of doing.
“Why do you want something beyond the norm? Why do YOU personally want to look like something greater in 2010?”
I want to be BEYOND normal because I want to be an inspiration to others. I used to be the skinny kid in the hall way who always got picked on but not anymore. I train hard with self discipline every week and try to beat me goals from previous weeks to become stronger and become a more powerful person. I use strength and bodybuilding for good and to encourage other trainees to become like me. Unfortunatley I have hit a plateu and I can’t go beyond by genetical poetential but it may be time, or it may be just something I am not doing right. Whatever the case is I continue to train to become big and strong like the people who inspired me so I can inspire others to become the person I am.
I don’t want to look back years from now and think of what I could have achieved or be disappointed for having settled–in any aspect of my life. Pushing myself to go “beyond the norm” only reinforces my internal strength. It is that constant reminder that I am a strong, beautiful woman who is not afraid to go against the grain. And I absolutely love the way it makes me feel!
I want to look better than the normal because i want to achieve something more than a normal person.n i love to do challenging and difficult tasks. As my built is not dat strong, n the same concept of genetically weak applies on me…i want to tear apart dat myth n want to achieve which i have never achieved before…normal tasks can be done by everyone, but only difficult tasks are achived by some special people..i want to be dat special person…
Ive almost finished a year without chocolate, sweets, biscuits/cookies, cakes, pasteries – you get the idea. Ive gone from a bloated beached whale to a 40 yo who is lean, toned, strong, and with a great 6-pack :-) Next year ill be keeping what ive made and building on it. As a reward to myself im playing with kettlebells next year.
I am just sick and tired of not having any muscle and i want to impress as many people as i can and rub it in the faces of my enemies, and all the people that constantly say that im never going to get stronger.
I want to look beyond the NORM simply because it makes me feel good about myself. I am persistent, I am focused, I am ready to do what it takes. Whats missing is a plan that works for me.
Although I take pride in being a symbol of perfection, the motivation behind me wanting to be something more than the rest comes from within. This is just me.
Because why be normal everyone is normal till they take a stand and become great. And for me it doesnt matter what it is weather it’s sport or my body I have to be great. because there the people that others remember!
I share the motivations of the others who’ve posted here. Beyond that, it’s just much more physically comfortable being in shape. Lifting heavy objects, as I tend to do in my active life, is so much less taxing when there’s lots of muscle.
Beyond that, being in top shape is a political statement of extreme defiance, since it has become clear that the billionaires of the world intend to use the shadow government they control to massively reduce the population to maintain their control. Codex Alimentarius goes into effect world wide on Jan1 , giving total control of food to the WHO, who is not content with trying to bump us off with lab concocted plagues and toxic but mandatory vaccines, but wants to irradiate all food (killing its life force energy) and limit herbs and supplements to what they approve. They’re even spraying (mind numbing) fluorides on vegetables now, to help people believe network TV News as being somehow representative of what people generally think (I don’t think preventing tooth decay in insect pests is a high priority.) Use baking soda (exclusively) on your teeth and hair for two months, avoid fluoridated water, veggies, and TV, and see if I seem less crazy to you, if you doubt me.
Further, being in top shape will make the widespread kundalini arousal that humanity may experience in the near term much easier to bear physically. Kundalini yoga practitioners develop great strength with certain exercises for exactly that reason. They do some radical planks among others.
It is normal to want to achieve more. In sport like in everything else. It also builds up confidence.
I like to look good, and I enjoy pushing myself hard.
Id like to look good cause thee are so many fat people out there that just look shite! They look tired and even some normal builds look so slobby and tired and pissed off with the world, I want to be someoen wo sticks out and knows it. I want to be that man that woman want to cheat on their husbands with, I like being hit on my ass and getting my tits scratched and bitten, it happened! But i helps me wake up everydayknwing IM the and they dont have a chance cuse IM so sexy and theyre so fat and full of shite! and that gives me confidence, and even better when i dont have to ACT all confidence becasue I am confidence. I wait for chances to take of my top, especially the xray I have to get for health checks at my work, with some shirts, becuas of my chest it makes me look a little fattish…build at that time, buti took it off with a big shove this up yous asses. now say Im fat. Its the best feeling. And i know I can get more and I can become better, cause there are no limits! But to be honest if th ewife wanted to cheat me I would say no, just to feel even more powerful!!! ha!Cause IM not despareate! Thats confidence!
Because, i dont want to be normal. I want to be unique. I know im a little to young to be on this website and a little young to answer this question, im 14, But The reason why i want a BEYOND normal body, is beacuse i am fasinated with soccer. its my life. and i really want to go pro, but for that i need to have that AMAZING body. I want it sooo baad, and i know i can accomplish what ever i set my mind to.
I want to be a living example. I am a health care professional and frequently in conversation with friends and associates about some gizmo or gimmick for weight loss. I am usually the one telling them to save their money and just start with some basic exercise and changes in diet. I will be taken more seriously if I look the part. Look like I practice what I preach.
Vince,
As Zach Even-Esh simply puts, “To talk the talk and walk the walk.”
I serve the example for my athletes. my children, my wife, my friends, everyone I come in contact with.
I have been a Type I Insulin Dependent Diabetic for 48 years (60 yrs young) and my doctors, etc. can’t believe a diabetic can live the fitness lifestyle I have and continue to do.
Simple, I work my ass off to LIVE!
I take pride in who I am and the way ppl apreciate the fact that I am anything but ordinary. In continuation of the same I wud like to add reasons to feel good about myself and be a more confident individual and “a cut above the rest”…
First, I want to inspire others. Already, I inspire people with my physique. I worked hard to get where I am today, going from 160 pounds (at 6′5″) to 210 pounds, while gaining minimal body fat (went from 4% to 8%). When I did this during college a few years back (I’m 26 now), my friends were inspired to join me in the gym and eat healthier. But now it’s time to take the next step and get to 240 while lowering my body fat (I want to get down below 6% again). I’m excited to see the effect this has on the people around me and can only hope that it will inspire them to change their lives for the better.
Second, and perhaps most importantly, I do it for me. I look in the mirror everyday and see success. I know how hard I worked to get where I am and I feel a deep sense of pride. But again, it’s now time to take it to the next level. It’s easy to become complacent, especially when I already get stares and the occasional “wow” from a girl passing by, but I know I am destined for more. I’m significantly beyond normal now, whether by body fat percentage or measurements or weight I work with, but “normal” now is an absurdly low standard in a country where fully a third of people are obese and two-thirds are overweight (including me – gotta love the BMI).
I try to never compare myself with others because to do so would simply be to lower the standards I hold for myself. Especially in today’s world, where expectations for people are ridiculously low. Stay out of jail and you’re considered to be doing well. There is little sense of self improvement or growth out there. But inside, it’s a different story. I have the drive within me, regardless of what is going on outside. If you want to be great, you must never compare yourself with others, unless they are great and represent that to which you aspire. In terms of physique, I look to Steve Reeves, Arnold Schwarzennegger, and Lou Ferrigno, perhaps not as massive as today’s leading bodybuilders, but having an amazing symmetry and looking, in my opinion, ideal. With hard work in 2010, I know I will become great in my own right.
I want to look better than the norm because I deserve it, because i have the guns and the will power to beat my genetics and become a different and grater human been. over the past year i’ve learn too much (specially from Vince) and in the 2010 I`ll put it on stage to be a defferent me, to be the one that i deserve to be… better than the norm…
It’s a challenge i’ve been pursuing for years with no significant results….’never give up’ is one of my top motto’s and vince is a true inspiration to me and great motivator to achieve the goal i’ve aimed for all these years !!…. i want to succeed, be proud of what i’ve achieved and be a living example to others !!
It’s the challenge that it sets, that makes me want to reach and achieve the Best that I can possibly achieve!! I am so motivated!! This is going to be the year of total transformation not only physically, but emotionally & spiritually too!!
I just dont want to be the average guy. I train very hard with the limited resources as I have commented in your last blog. To earn respect from and especially my girlfriend who love great bodies.
I want To Look Beter than Norm Simple becuse I know that i can do it. I Need to prove to the world that i am more than that skinny guy every one ignores and take lightly. I know i can be beter and i will be beter i need to be beter than norm to prove it to the world and most importantly to my self.
We are living in an era of image. Success depends on good communication. 55 % of the communication is your appearance. When you look aesthetic, proportional and inspiring, the doors open before you. People tend to think your heart and character is as good as your body. You get a tremendous advange in everywhere you go, every request you make, every move you do.
Well, that is social power !
What else can be better ?
That’s simple: BETTER, FASTER, STRONGER! Nowadays it’s hard to get self-confidence and self-stem to a higher level… A ”better” me, sure helps to achieve that ;)!
Plus, the attentions you get from the ladies are totally worth it!
I want to look better than the norm, because if you look after your body then this shows that you look after other aspects of your life.working out is also a way of forgetting about everything for that time and concentrating your efforts on something you enjoy.Currently i need a new chalenge in the gym and i want to add more mass.
First of all I want to be a role model to motivate the people around me and push them harder to beyond what they even think is in reach.
Second of all the people who stand out and accomplish things are the people that have success with just about anything in life.
Third of all I want to look back one day and not worry about not executing because I didn’t think it was possible, I want to look back one day and be proud by the way I reshaped my life.
The beginning of 2009 was average for me, towards the end of it however I had started Vince’s programme and things both at work and in life started to change for me. My body was not only becoming healthier but also my outlook on life was becoming healthier too. I now truely believe a healthy body reflects a healthy mind and a positive attitude and this is what i want to continue through 2010.
I have to go beyond normal because it is the only way to progress for me. I know if I set my mind to it I can achieve it.
I am also doing it for the improved self-esteem, energy levels, strength(physical and mental) and overall good health. The secret of youth lies in youthful muscles, and I cannot pass up the opportunity to get mine into a better condition.
My reason: I want to be like you – or better ! No kidding, I don’t wanna be ass kissing or anything, but you’re pretty much exactly what I’ve dreamt abput becoming for quite some years now (I’m 18).. I’m not necessarily talking about your looks (I don’t have your build, but I want to take my body to the limit and beyond) as much as your personality.. As far as I’m concerned we’re pretty much the same, I can follow your in just about everything you’ve told us readers so far about your personality – it’s like you’re describing me ! But back to the point, and I’ll keep it very short and clear:
I too want to be a fitness/nutrition coach and for me to be able to do that and be honest to myself, I have to be the answer – not jut give them away. One last word – INSPIRATION !
Hi, Vince i am read you every mail seriosly. I am using your six pack ab taining regularly. You can say i am a fitness freak and i want to have rock solid body. I follow you seriosly.I think you have wonderful personality.
Please send training programme for bigger arm.
I want to achieve something that goes beyond my limits. I think if I am jacked and lean it reflects how much discipline and effort I put into it and no matter what gets in in my way I’ll stay on track and achieve whatever my goals are in every area of your life. I see it as a competition with myself and the limits I’m setting for myself and if I can go beyond them it gives me self-affirmation.
Apart from that, it strengthens my self confidence which reflects from the inside to the outside so other people will notice it too.
The reason why I want to take my physiqe to the next level – and beyond, is that I that way can proof to myself, and people around me, that it is possiple to achieve “the spectacular”, through hard work, dedication and selfdicipline!
Because everything I do in business strives for perfection.
Because everything I do socially strives for happiness.
Because everything I do in LIFE – yes MY life – strives for excellence.
Why?
Because the mundane is for the mundane …
Because the past is for the old …
Because the future is for ME – the NEW …
It is simple Vince …
If ANYONE is to better themselves (and I’m talking ANYONE), they CANNOT live in the past and the old otherwise they become mundane and antiquated.
I started the amazing transformation and stopped only a few weeks into it – business opportunities found me first – before I could continue successfully with my fitness and physique.
Now that business, money and life generally have flourished, I have a concrete foundation to start again and become WAY more than I imagined when I first started those many many months ago.
Time, experience and knowledge – these are my armaments.
2010 – Its very simple … Because I DESERVE to be WAY more than the norm!
We all need to feel good about ourselves in some way or another. I have chosen to get my body in good shape because I think the men and woman who are in shape look good. I want to look good too. When I look good I feel good. Add to that a healthy diet and life style, I get the added bonus of physically feeling the best I can.
Who wants to be avarage? I want to stand out, in a good way.
Also it’s so pleasant to have done someting hard and succeeded, that’s the most important part. It doesn’t matter wether you want to gain 30 pounds of muscle or just learn to do a handstand, it’s the feeling of success that drives us, it’s like a drug!
Hi Vince,
I’m 16 years old and I am a slightly above average in muscular strength for my age. However I wish to become above the norm firstly because I feel more proud of myself with a nicer physicue. Also, the ability to increase your stamina and body chi whilst training is a passionate result. Apart from that I want to look bigger in front of the girls. :P
My goal for 2010 is to continue increasing at least 2 lbs of lean muscle per month with the help of your advices :)
Well i realle dont want to look like the normal people because i aim for more and more because i know i can do it better and better I know i can be “one of a kind” in the streets, i will really try to get that “One of a kind” body i am working so hard for. Thanks Vince for all your advices, their are really helpfull
(sorry for my english Merry Christmas from Ecuador) ;)

i want the friends of the girl i like to b jealous of her hanging out with such a ripped guy. because they know she deserves it but dont want to see her happier than them, but thts not up to them…………………………im goin 2 the gym lol pce
In a very short life we live what is the point of not looking the best you possibly can? Working out gives everybody an edge of being healthy, consistent, and flat out good looking. Our bodies are machines ready to be huge and ripped. I am the kinda guy that is extremely determined to pass all peoples expectations of whats normal especially this upcoming year and achieve steps closer to a perfection. Ive gained 35 pounds of muscle in a 1.5 years and i don’t plan on stopping , my plan is becoming a monster Psychically and mentally in 2010!!! With your tips throughout the past year Vince its been a huge help too thank you for that!
Why do I want something beyond the norm?
Because I can dream it, I can visualize what I want.
Because I can achieve it, I can get a plan to map out how I’m getting there. (Vince??)
Because I deserve it.
I want to be a shining beacon to my family, friends, and everyone I meet. I want to broadcast with my body that there is so much more to life than we’re even aware of. The human body is capable of miraculous things, from healing itself to performing superhuman feats.
Simple to answer really. Tired of the decline around us. Take a good look at the people in this country. Now go back 25-30 years and take a look. A once proud nation that housed people who for the most part took care of themselves- not through amazing techniques, medical breakthroughs, or gimicks. Today, we are a nation of excuses. Of “political correctness.” “You can’t call them fat, that may hurt their feelings.” “It is not fair to them to call them fat!” Yet 60% of the people in this country are obese, and it is killing them. But due to “technology,” we live longer. Not better lives- in fact, most are miserable- just longer. It is a war of lies- from the food industry, to the pharmaceutical industry. All led by lawyers and politicians who reap the benefits of our money in terms of political correctness. Think I am wrong? Go down to the mall and take a look. I was in Vancouver, Canada recently, and my God I was shocked. 9 out of 10 people looked great. I walk outside here in Oregon, and 9 out of 10 look like shit. So you want to know why I don’t want to be a part of the norm? Well, that is self-explanatory….
I am the example that my children will follow in the years to come. I might not be exactly where I should be today, but I have been diligent about following a weekly workout schedule which my children see because I work out at home. I just purchased one of your programs and plan to put it to use after the Holidays are over. As a Christian and a parent I have people watching me to see how I live my life, how I walk my talk, and because of that I need to look the part also. I know that there are things in 2010 that I WILL CHANGE in order to see the results I desire. Having a plan in front of me and the support of people like you will help me make that happen.
I am the example of my friends and family, at only 17 I have people coming to me for advice on things regarding nutrition and exercise based on my physique. I enjoy being a symbol/example of success, strength, and health to all those around me. I want to be better than I was yesterday and push myself beyond the norms of society to new levels of fitness. I’m a beast and don’t plan at slowing down anytime soon. I’ll be faster and stronger at 100 than now.
Quite simply, i dont believe in limits, and nothing will EVER stop me achieving my targets and goals, because i have the self-belief, motivation, and will-power to get to wherever i want to be.
Im only 18 years old, but im streets ahead of others my age, and i can say that confidently knowing im not being big-headed.
For me its simple. If i can achieve something beyond the norm,it will certainly restore the confidence and believe in me cause im the kind of person who always doubting my ability to strive for success.
I want to be great for how hard I have worked. People can’t tell all the work I have put into my body, and I want to show everyone that thinks I am just a normal guy, how un-normal I am.
I want to show everyone I am extraordinary. I excel at everything.
I want to be a role model to everyone, that through hard work everything is possible.
I’m 70 years old and currently working to become a Certified PT for seniors. At my last physical my doctor said I was one of the most fit patients he has in the 70+ age group. I want to be the MOST fit, as a living example of what can be done for other seniors.
I have two reasons. Both go back in time. I already had two kids and I was carrying the third with me in my thoughts – at that time I promised myself that if I do I will get in the top shape afterwards. And I did have my third. That’s the first reason – I’ve made a promise a while ago.
When I was a kid my mom was getting into worse and worse shape. She still is. :( And she is convinced that she cannot do anything about it. I want to show her a way out of the corner she has played herself into. Hopefully she’ll listen to me one day. Her weight is already getting to his health… Eventually I want to save my kids grandma. I believe in showing by example, noone believes bare preaching. That’s the second reason.
The only way people really are free is to be healthy. Even many oppressive governments can be worked around. Yet, without enough personal energy to function on this planet, even a very open society does not provide the freedom that everyone seeks.
I want to build and generate a body that is good in God’s eyes, not one through drugs, but pure hard work. I feel it’s a way, NOT THE ONLY WAY, but A way to say “Thank you God for what you’ve given me. I’m going to give back to you 10 fold.”
I want to be better than normal, because I just turned 48, and normal for an almost-50 woman is just not acceptable to me. I want to work out beyond normal, because that is the only kind of workout that I have ever really enjoyed and not found boring.
In 2010 I know I will have the potential to finally reach and surpass limits when it comes to my body. I am really stepping it up with my lifestyle nutrition and training! I am already seeing results in the past couple weeks alone in just using your program. I am looking forward to how it will look towards 2010!!! I am even more committed than ever to acheive the body I want to gain respect and strut my confidence through the roof!!!!! I will also be respected more by women and even get more dates out of it as well! It is a tough journey but for me it’s well worth it and I want it badly!!!! My training regimen has been great thus far. I have been going to bed and waking up early, I’ve been eating more nutrition to fuel my body and doing my weight training along with the cardio to keep body fat low. I’ve even taken the time out this time to log my workouts into my journal, as well as body measurements, weight, and once I get some calipers my body fat %! I am taking this seriously and it’s even motivating me to get into the kitchen even more to get the results I want even more!
i want to be better than norm because i want to change the concept of fitness in my country Kenya(Africa).in Africa, big women are considered beautiful and this culture makes it conflicting for African women to change their physique because it is beleived that skiny is sick. i want to get my six pack in 3 months as i stand at 20% body fat and want to go down to 14%. i want to encourage African women who want a model’s body to do so and not to care about what others might think. i beleive a healthy body creates a healthy mind and spirit. it also gives you confidence to excel in every aspects of life.
I am tired of being left out being passed up cause others have better bodies than I
I am not a bad looking guy
just a bit on the skinny side
when I started making gains people actually talked to me rather than at me
Training hard and then achieving results is an amazing feeling and it boosts my Self Confidence. Being someone else than the ordinary guy who doesn’t want to go that extra mile.
A consistent and growing stronger body as an example two others and showing what is possible through exercise( Fun), nutrition, and a balanced lifestyle!
I wan’t to stand out not just for myself, but for the people i work for. I am daily leading people into different kinds of tuff situations, and naturally they would need me to be beyond expectations. I need to be(and will be!) that person, it won’t just boost my delf confidence but also for all those I lead. I need them to wanna do everything i say without hesitation, then i need to be greater than anyone they know of..
I want to go beyond the norm because being norm is boring! I want to be different form 99.9% of the kids at my school. I want to stand out form the crowd and make people say “wow”. And when I got to collage next year, if I join the freashmen 15 I’m going to make sure it’s 15 pounds of mustle not ugly beer fat.
Do you want to win the fitness game? Or do you want to sit on the sidelines or worse yet in the bleachers watching the game go by?! If your choice isn’t to be an active player this is your choice. Fine. Accept that as your choice and refrain from telling everyone you would play but genetics stops you!
Genetics has become too convenient an excuse to not get into the game. Just look at all the photos in Vince’s Transformation Contest. Many of those may have thought they didn’t have good genetics but said screw it, I’m going to win this one!
Sure genetics may not allow you to get like Arnold or even like Vince. So what? Why not go for what you CAN sculpt your body into?
For those who do want to win the fitness game, you’ll need a game plan. There are many out there. What will work for you will only be known by trying them out. I tried many until I found Vince’s worked the best for me.
Understand entering into the game isn’t going to be a piece of cake. You’ll be in the hurt zone, sucking for air, come up against barriers, want to quit…This IS part of the game where you need to dig deep inside, pull yourself up and get back on track.
The end result – a body you will be proud of, you’ll understand more about what you CAN accomplish, know that you CAN overcome obstacles. Know that you might be an inspiration to others. You may even become a coach to those yearning to get fit. You’ll be a walking example that the fitness game CAN be won if you’ve got the guts to play.
The majority of the population in the US is obese so if you chose to get into the game, you’ll be in the minority. Which would group would YOU rather be in?! So again, do YOU want to win the fitness game? If so, grab a game plan and come join the rest of us who ARE winning!
I’m going past the norm in 2010 because my God has created me for greatness and to have dominion over this earth, even my body. If this body is the tabernacle, His home, then I want to treat it with the attention it deserves and is worthy of . It gives my creator glory when I succeed; it fulfills a desire of His that I should prosper and be in health; it inspires others to reach for a higher plane, and it’s time to make the outside of me match the inside of me.
I want to be more than average because I can’t stand being just average at anything. I take pride in how I look and feel and want to get the most I possibly can out of my body, and then a bit more.
Why Do I Want To Look Like Something Greater Than The Norm?
Norm to me means average, the generally accepted level or just plain and simple normal!
This is n o t what I’m after in terms of improving my physique. I want to go beyond the norm, to excel in this area of my life.
I have already reached good results from working out consistently and intensely, but in 2010 I want to go that extra mile and strive for excellence.
I have already experienced the benefits of a greater physique, how it rubs off on other areas of your life and generally boosts your self confidence.
And this leads to my ultimate goal, to achieve a physique above the norm, to set an example for my family and persons around me that I care for and love. To show that everything is possible if you decide to go for it, no holds barred, nothing held back and with full commitment!
Tom
To me greater than the norm, means to strive for excellence beyond the accepted norm. I want to excel in improving my physique,
2010 will be a year to get it together. I’ve been on a 5 or 6 year trip to better my self, be healthy and fit. It is about me and how I feel about myself, the rest will follow. Love the advice and the inspiration you and your associates give out Vince. Thanks!!
I want to be better than normal for alot of reasons. I just turned the big 40 and I sure as hell don’t want to look my friends of similar age. Beer guts, flabby skin, content with what they feel is a great “look”. Really? You can talk the talk, but my goal is to not only talk it, but walk it with a fantastic overall shape and size for my 5′8″ frame. It’s taken 2 years to work at getting above a lean and pretty solid 150 lbs. My goal has been 165-170 lbs of solid mass with low body fat. 2010 will be “MY” year to get my way there and keep it for life. I’d love to end 2010 with a big “Thank You Vince” email and pics. Let’s make it happen.
Gettingin on it late, but I my reasons are as follows:
#1 – I want to be healthy for my family, so they can depend on me and look to me as a role model for being healthy themselves;
#2 – I want to blaze a new trail in my industry and redefine the “stereo-type” of how an opera singer looks. I want people to think of a muscled, healthy-looking “bruiser” instead of “fat guys”.
#3 – I want to inspire others to follow the path.
hey guys
thanks vince for your emails i find them really honest and informative which is hard to come by when reading alot of bodybuilder blogs, websites and magazines, so cheers. Hopefully in 2010 I find somewhere to purchase roids so i can actually compete haha im 95 kilos and 6 ft 3 which although im happy with thgis at only 19 i have not seen any growth (well a little maybe) and this is a little bit depressing when i reflect on my efforts, so i naturally want my body to reflect my efforts and my love for bodybuilding and the great feeling get when i train.
tom
i want to achieve something greater than the normal body, to prove its possible and to inspire others to go beyond the normal to achieve awsome results.
maree
I have goals not just one but multiple goals and all are just as important to me and my goal is to get friends and strangers to think or say wow I wish that were me and inspire them to do some great working out that will make them feel good and thats just one of my goals I dont want to be one the strongest out of all of friends and family I want to be the strongest one and get their respect and so I except the challenge to make me a stronger person not just mentaly but also physically
I want to be better then “normal” because I always used to. Untill about a year ago when I dropped the ball. So I want/need to get back on track. “Normal” is boring.
First of all thank you for the advices of how to do a correct work out and happy holidays MR. DELMONTE, i believe that every human being are capable to do anything they want in life and the best way is by testing your self, im doing what im doing because i want to prove that i can be what i want if i propose to work hard and be dedicated to achieve the body i wish to have, and i learn that when you are commited to exersice you need to be pasient and be able to test your nervs and take the hits and once you beat your biggest fear that stop you to work out which is your self, you will become ten times better than you were before.
I want to be proud of my my hard work and know I kicked a$$ in the gym, when I am on the beach NO MORE HIding! Instead I can feel confident and know that I look awesome, I dont have to be negative about anything because I know that I am taking charge of my life and my choices and # 1 is taking care of myself and my body! Lets rock! I can do it and it starts with a choice one small choice at a time and soon a chiseled bod :)
[...] comments and if you have not shared why you personally want to look like something greater in 2010, click here, to share. You can also get inspired by my most serious [...]
I want to be beyond the ‘NORMAL’ because im sick of people telling me that its in the genetics. I want to prove that you dont have to be the way people expect you to be. I want to set an example for my daughter as well as my clients (im a personal trainer) so they can say if she can do it then i can too
I refuse 2 sit here & b dissatisfied w/ my life any longer. It’s time 2 put into action the ideals that are so well layed out in your ebook. 2moro is MY jan 1st – thank you, vince 4 creating a program w/ no room 4 bullshit
I don’t want to remain skinny for the rest of my life, i know that if i want something hard enough i can get it, i am still a teenager so i have more chance of building muscle. started weight training two weeks ago and i already have seen some improvement, with 4 sessions in the gym i have got something like 2 pounds of muscle :)
For me it’s about health and improving my ability as a martial arts instructor. Whilst strength is NOT necessary in order to be good at self-defence there are other aspects of martial arts where fitness and strength do play an important role. Also, there is the ego thing of wanting to look good :)
I want to change my physique appearance because I’m tired of being the “normal” guy. I’d like to be the guy, who can look at himself in the mirror, and can be proud of what he has achieved. And of course it’d also be nice if you can get the girls to look at you.
I also want to show others that you can change yourself, with the right dedication and the right help(Vince). That nothing is impossible just as long as you believe in yourself.
What is normal?..average? like everyone? 50%? It is time to be an individual on the inside and outside. I am a walking billboard for the value of working harder – working smarter and to; Want more, Lift more, Live more.
For my 34th birthday in June 2010 I am going to impress myself with a body that I have worked hard to transform from what I normally look like. So I am going to say goodbye to 20 years of poor posture, short hair, and an ordinary physic and get a body in which I could wear a bikini with confidence just for me!
I am no longer thinking that my best days of a better body have passed but are waiting right ahead of me to claim. I have started growing my hair, began pilates for my posture, have lost 17lbs (8kgs) thru Cheat Your Way Thin and become a gym member and now I am going to trust in your program Vince to help me achieve a body I can be proud of.
I want to look bigger because all my life I was the skinny kid but I always wanted to look normal or more i always was 150 and i eat like a animal but i do alot of sports but now I just go to the gym sometimes I go and play basket with my boys I LOVE THE GAME BUT I ALWAYS play alot and I cant stop. and lose like 3 pounds ims now in 154 but i was in 158 I cant go over 160, im a 6 feet 150 guy I dont want that anymore I want to be a big guy and thats my new goal in life.
For a while now, I’ve been working on taking charge of my health. I’m 31, soon to be 32, and my body just doesn’t work like it did 10 years ago. Then about a week ago, my wife told me she is pregnant with our first baby!
I want to get stronger so I can take care of her through the pregnancy, take care of our child for the next 20 years (!) and be a “young” father – not some prematurely “old” man who can’t stop complaining about being tired and overweight.
I want to look good, fit, powerful so I can take my career to the next level, now that I have a family depending on me (cuz let’s face it, looks count!) Mostly, I want to fight for this life I’ve been blessed with, I want to live it to the fullest, and make the most of every second because I’m thankful to be alive!
I want to be what our creator wished us to be not a “Man-Made Marshmello”. We are amazing beings and our bodys house ourselves; so ones own body should match their internal spirit.
Why do I want to be something beyond the norm? Because the norm for women my age (48) is scary. Look around. And it only gets worse. I want to be the example of ‘it’s possible’. Good enough isn’t good enough. It doesn’t have to be the norm. The norm to me is like giving up. I don’t give up.
I want to look better than the norm because I am in no way normal. :) I am the proud father of two boys 3/8, I am a Full time Student and I serve Our Wonderful Nation as a US Navy CORPSMAN. I am 35 y/o and in no way do I intend on feeling 35. I want to be able to do and perform my job as a Parent and as a Corpsman to the best of my ability, without putting myself at risk of injury.
I have been to the point of looking at myself in the mirror and asking ” Who and or what am I becoming, I turn sideways and start to see my family resemblance, If you know what I mean. . . .
I have been working for the past 6 months as much as possible I spend at least one day in the gym if my class schedule is really heavy but to maximize my days sometimes 4-5 days a week If I can manage it. My 8 y/o is now accompanying me and wanting to work out, with that said I also would like to be a model of what hard work and dedication can be for both of my boys as well.
Thanks,
Happy New Year
Dave
Hi I am not over weight or in fact even skinny to be truthful I am already quit muscular for my age I just signed up to get the best help I can to get even better results the only incomplete part from my body is getting that six pack its kind of there but not 100% .
2nd comment: Just got an e-mail stating I had not made a comment. I did on December 23, however…. A couple years ago I was playing volleyball and took off my shirt due. Nobody even noticed. I don’t want that to happen again. Another reason is that as we age we “supposedly” lose muscle mass. I want to have enough surplus to where it doesn’t effect me to lose a little – not to mention I want to see if they are wrong. Do we lose muscle mass because we grow older or do we lose it as we grow older because we quit using it? Either way, when I die at 218 years of age, I want to look like a well-conditioned 30 year old. Yes, I have a ways to go, but, then again, I have the time.
I want to go beyond the norm because I am sick and tired of being skinny, tall guy who hasn’t lived up to all my known potential. I know with the added muscle I can kick the door open instead of waiting for things to happen to me. I really just want to live the life that I deserve. Of course the extra attention from the ladies is always an added bonus. :D :D
simply put i know iam more than i appear to be .iam currently about 425 lbs down from 460 so im making progress in the right direction and ive noticed good increase in strenth. i can max out 315 for just 2 reps .iam encouraged by this but want so much more .my goal weight is 250 to 260 im 6′ 3 inches and think this would look pretty good . im not all that concerned about the schreaded look .strenth and muscle density are my concerns. hopefully with the info you provide i can continue to schread down to my goal weight and have that juggernaut look i want
I want to go beyond the norm because i wanna show ppl that dont believe that i can get stronger that they were wrong, im going to use them as inspiration to get stronger. Also wanna show some discipline with something in life im only 17 and i got inspired by vince story cause im just like he was. Im 140 pounds and i 6 months of hard working and non partying i wanna be 150-155 lbs all increased in muscle, it will be hard cause the football season is coming and in trainings its like a full seassion of cardio so i dont get the time to lift weights but im going to try my best…
I just want to be happy. Having a body beyond the norm would be the final trophy. But most of all I want to have a healthy and a very happy life. I think that with a body beyond the norm, I could have more respect from ppl. And if I want to help ppl that have problems with weight I have to look great so that they trust me and know that I could be the solution of their problem. With the perfect body I can go out on the streets and everybody could recognize all my efforts.
Thanks Vince :)
This New Year I plan to built my life as I want it to be, and one of my goals is to have a ripped body, all my life I have been in a rollercoaster in terms of my body, never could maintain a workout or to eat properly in this last 3 mounts I have succeeded to shed 12 kilos from a total of 80, but still I have a hard time to find the right kind of foods, there for I feel weak and cant complete a workout, I do want to be healthy and keep a way of life which I can be benefit from and with it to look good with confidence, hope you can help me with that
I’m about to be a freshman in college, and all throughout all my school years, I’ve been a small man. I was great at track, nice muscular legs, but I get tired of people calling me stick man, and skinny minny, and other shit like that. Because I’m skinny, I can’t seem to pick up chicks, one reason is that I’m very country accent and all, (i’m a black dude), and all the good ones are taken by the jocks. So my plan for the next year or so is to gain 50 or so pounds of muscle mass, I want to fill out my shirts, I want people to show me respect, and it would make me feel better as well.
I want to look better in 2010 as I want to be a walking result of this program and the hard work and dedication it takes to form an above average physique without the use of enhancing drugs. Additionally to show all the people who called me ’skinny’ or say ‘you having got the build or genetics to form the type of physique you want’ that you can and that if you work hard and believe within yourself, one day the results will be there to prove everyone wrong.
because i been aiming for that many years. Everytime i looked on the streets some guy who was fit i felt so bad. But now i know i can get that if “i do the job” properly. I dont want to look like a normal guy i want to be more not “huge” but yes fit as some people (including me hehe would say). I dont want to be average i know i can be “excellent”!
Blessings and
HAppy New year
greeting form Ecuador!
Feliz Año NUEVO!
Vince i want to look better in 2010 because i take pride in trying to be fit, for the moment i may not seem like it, but i will have a difference in my appearance soon enough.
Hey it is about self respect and discipline. The kick I get out of people who exercise is they justify eating anything they want to increase weight yet down the road they pay with kidney, liver, heart problems. I am building my body with Raw Vegan foods and it’s fantastic.
for me it’s more a feeling that i might deserve better or dont feel like being the norm and want to prove it so. that being said, i am not referring to arrogance but to the feeling you want to look like something that truly represents you
It’s about self respect and treating yourself good. Looking way beyond norm makes you just much more confident in all aspects of life including work, social connections and in front of your loved one. It’s not about being able to pick up girls with your 6-pack but the pride, self respect and confidence you possess everyday.
Feel, if a person truly commits to a training / nutrition program it will succeed in some aspects, just takes heart and focus, that and WANTing to become better helps create a Goal ~ a Focus ~ so no matter what, busy work days, or other challenges, a person continues in the direction of their goal.
Also, a person, or trainer not dwelling on the past, instead helping the person focus on the “NOW” and move forward is excellent thinking and wish more people (especially trainers) did this. That is another reason feel Vince here is an exceptional coach, he embodies these qualities along with a passion for helping others through his knowledge and experiences, himself continually seeking new challenges in learning as well as growth.
Reminds me of a quote: “I like for things to happen and if they don’t happen I like to make them happen.”— Winston Churchill
Further feel if a person can give a truly deep down heart felt yes to these basic questions, then they will face, over-come, and GROW from any challenge.
How bad do you REALLY want it?
Are you willing to make a choice?
Very rarely do people make choices that fundamentally effect their lives.
For example, changing channels on the TV is not something that fundamentally effects your life. You have to step up to the plate and make a fundamental life changing choice.
Do you have the courage to start now? We get people that make choices but do not do anything to get started. Half the people that made a choice drop out at this stage. They do not take the first step to move in the direction that they want.
Do you have the commitment to finish? You can start, but can you finish? This is where most people disappear. Very few people finish. People can start things, but can they see it through the end? Can they be there when it matters?
To share a little bit, also learned that while facing a challenge, asking myself these questions really really helped in my staying focused as well as taking the steps each day toward my goals.
Actually there is no real thing called “focus” per se. Really what people are describing is an occurance that has already passed. Our lives are a success of moments of now. The moment you go back to describe it, you are reporting an event that has already taken place.
~Focus is a state of being ~
For at least myself, feel this has helped me face some incredible challenges while after conquering them “Owning Them” actually grew from them, in a way could say challenges are ways we can liberate ourselves from our own boundaries we’ve previously placed on ourselves.
When it comes down to it, feel that experiencing challenges, then growing from them is the most important, like getting back to the “Biggest Loser” by facing the previous failure,
Go ~ Grow beyond it ….don’t waste time and energy dwelling on it!
Really enjoyed the challenges and opportuniteis for growth I’ve experienced with JVince’s workout and nutrition program, along with recieving Awesome coaching from Vince, too.
Everyone!!
Let this season be the stepping stone to a happy ~ healthy New Body Year !
It all starts with realizing
..How bad do you REALLY want it?!!
~ No Excuses ~ You really do have the power of choice ~
Hope this video inspires, even more, motivates to make each day YOUR day through your choices!
I need to be in better shape nd look muscular because im a wrestler for the Storm lake wrestling team nd when ur in wrestling u need to look powerful!!!!!!
I want to be greater in 2010 for one reason, and one reason only. I’m sick and tired of being on the self image pitty potty. My self image has negatively influenced my health, my lovelife, my satisfaction with life, my ability to participate in team sports…..it’s just been paralyzing. And the worst thing is, I’ve let it happen and have been victimized by my own inability to make a choice. Well that all stopped 2 days ago. No more pitty potty. No more self doubt. The time for transformation has come. I can’t stand it anymore. I’m done with the old excuses. I’m saying NO to new excuses. For once in my life, I’m making a choice for me, for my benefit. The way I feel about myself begins by redefining who I am on the inside. Second, by redesigning what I look like on the outside. And third, by realizing that how you look and feel directly and indirectly impacts relationships with friends and family AND success in every other area. For the first time, Vince, you have opened my eyes, given me hope and honesty, and equipped me with the tools to be successful. It’s now put up or shut up time. This is a life defining moment for me. I’m excited about that. Vince, I owe you more than you will ever know. Bless you!!!
I want 2 prove something on my father my HS batch mate and to my self
I want 2 improve every single piece of me, mind and body.
I need 2 do this because I standing 4 my family now and 4 my self.
also I need 2 train my body so I can stop my heart illness, My doctor told me 2 do some workout. so since my medication is training my body I want 2 put this goal 2 the higher gear.
sorry if I did some mistakes in my comment I’m not that good at English.
First of all, “Normal” is pretty pathetic these days. Sitting around getting unhealthier and fatter with each passing day, popping pills to keep blood pressure and blood sugar under control when all you have to do is move and eat better to accomplish the same thing with only beneficial side effects instead of more problems.
I like to be able to show women that you can stay in shape at any age and after 2 babies, including a cesaerean delivery. It feels pretty awesome when I hear my husband tell my teenage son that “It’s bad when your mom looks better than your girlfriends” and my son says “But she’s not a normal Mom, she’s still hot! That will be hard to beat.” And he’s jealous of my 6-pack! Plus seeing the guys in the gym stop their workout and drop their jaws while watching me doing pull-ups, my record is 13 so far. PRICELESS.
I want to look beyond the norm because you get alot more respect when you have big shoulders and and overall good looking body. It will also help me in my personal life. You can look at yourself different and feel different inside. It can also help me from meeting women instead of the past couple that have used me for stuff.
Spent my whole life being the small guy, following bogus programs and diet plans which were designed for overweight people. I only found this website a couple of days ago and in love with it already, I hope to achieve great things.
I want to be something beyond the normal…..simply because i want to get in shape…..Get my mind of things that are no good in life….and join the Football team next year
There is something to say about those that earn the physique that they drive for. I want to feel i have succeeded everyday, and when you blow past your potential every step you take is testament to that. I prove to my self everyday and want to prove to myself everyday that i have no limitations, and when i find one i adjust and learn how to work around that. Vince you help me and many many others achieve the very same thing, I am looking at blowing my goals out of the water in the coming year, and force myself to make new ones.
Because I love to do the impossible, to go beyond what ppl call normal pushing my self to the limit is what I really love doing and to prove what ppl thought i could never do but most of all to prove an show my lil cosines that to do great things takes much hard work an dedication, that life’s not all fun an games they look up to me for so many things I cant let them down.
i want to get this programme because of the reasons u mentioned
ive been workin out for almost 2 years now i dont wana say that it did me nothin it tranformed me to another person but recently i cant change ive tried everythin to get better but its not workin my body is not goin further thats why i wna get this programme
i want a body that’s going to give me confidence, give me pride and give me the courage to never do things i would have before, i will achieve this, i’ve never been more motivated too do something before in my life!
i want to be better then the norm because i want someone to look a me and say what supplements are you taking and me respond none. And to be able to say i dont have this thanks to some expensive product i got this from a little hard work and dedication and most of all self disipline. And also to be able to help other people with the same problem and ill will be proof for them so they can really see.
I want to gain 40 lbs of muscle buy 2011, there is proof that it can be achieved- if you follow the right steps and stick with it… And i will reach my goal this is a promise !!
Hi Vince, I have been following training programs all of my life and so far not one of them has worked for me. I train 5 days a week, I do sprint work 2 days a week, I eat properly, hell I even go without beer for months on end to try and achieve my ultimate goal, a six pack. All I want is to one day feel confident enough to be able to go to the beach with my beautiful wife and my three incredible kids and not feel like a fat dad. I dont think I can work any harder, what I need is someone to help me work smarter and from what I have seen and read you are that someone. Vince can you please help me, I live in Australia, a country sounded by beaches as well as very hot summers, I want to feel proud of my body instead of covering it up. I need your help Vince. Thanks for your time.
I want to look better than the norm because norms are set by ordinary people and for the average mediocre individuals in society. I believe, each one of us have the capacity to be extraordinary. It's just that we are not tapping our potential 100% !! I have now decided to give my 100% to my physique and transform myself from normal to Supernormal. If U can do it Vince and U are ready to Guide me through this I Know I will look like something Greater in 2010. I will achieve my Peak and make the world go WOW !! LET'S DO IT TOGETHER …….. I AM CHARGED UP AND READY TO GO ………WITH A GURU LIKE U GUIDING ME, I BEILEVE I CAN SUSTAIN THE YEAR LONG MISSION AND STAND TALL AND SUCCESSFUL AT THE END OF THE YEAR !
I'm 56 years old and have worked hard for the past year and a half…..I've come a long way but want to progress to the next level to prove that it can be done…..I want to inspire other seniors and prove to all that we don't have to LOOK senior just because we are……Hard bodies rock! Need a little help with having 6 pack abs but I am close….I'm sure your program could help me get there and add a few more pounds of lean muscle……I look forward to the challenge and hopefully can show others the way to having a great body!!!
