I had been wracking my brain for six months trying to figure out how to do it, written tons of letters to him (none of which were ever sent), but in the end... It all happened so fast that I didn't realize until after the fact that I'd even done it! We haven't actually gotten engaged yet, but who knows - maybe that, too, will happen so quickly that we won't even realize it happened until after the fact? That would be cool.
