Fat Loss Nutrition Audio Replay

By Vince On June 26, 2009 Under Fat Loss Training, Featured Post, Nutrition

Last night the Empowered Nutrition coaches, John and Pat, and myself recorded a killer call on a load of *fat loss nutrition* questions.

If you weren’t able to make it live, listen to it now:

I wanted to make sure you had the opportunity to get every one of your fat loss nutrition questions answered that could make the game-winning difference with your physique.

Trust me, just ONE LITTLE TIP can move you from the 98-yard line into the end zone for a touch down.

The reply is available FREE and we got to talk about the following topics:

1. How the Done-For-You Fat Loss Meal Plans different than my muscle building and six-pack meal plans current customers already own.

2. The difference between phase 1, phase 2 and phase 3 of the meal plans.

3. How to manipulate the meal plans if you’re goal is to gain muscle mass.

4. How to know if you have enough variety in your meal plan.

5. What to do if you’re doing everything right and still not seeing results.

6. How a vegetarian should use our meal plans.

7. How the meal plans are similar and different than the Zone.

8. How to deal with alcohol consumption with your nutrition.

And, much, much more solid info.

Drop some comments and questions after you’re done listening.

Have a healthy and fun weekend,

Vince DelMonte

P.S. On Monday we’re going to release the last video, a very candid and behind-the-scenes interview with the creator of the meal plans and myself and then give 3 lucky people an opportunity to win a FREE COPY of the Done-For-You Fat Loss Meal Plans being released on Tuesday June 30th at 12pm EST.

I think you dint undertand what i meaned by mixing carbs and fats Patrick, i wished to say that, eating a carb spikes the insulin, the storage hormone, and then you eat fat too in the same meal, insulin, stores the fat in the blood as bodyfat. And i was told to eat, protein+carb in the morning, protein+fat in the evening as the insulin sensivity is lower, do i make a bit of sense right now gentlemen??

@Raducu Nastase – Raducu, first off, we appreciate your commitment to improve your health.

But can I please ask you to trust us or trust someone else.

Stop asking us to defend our answers against someone else’s advice.

If you were told to do something, why are you not doing it?

Come on man, you’re wasting our time and your wasting YOUR own time.

Either follow our advice or follow someone elses.

Just follow someones and dont’ question it if you trust us.

We answered your question on the phone.

On behalf of John, Pat and I.

Everyone HELLO i am Daniel The Slingshooter Assasin! :) )
Great call Patrick, what i was tryng to achive with the slingshoot effect:
I was basically tryng to gain some muscle while in a caloric deficit.
The Body stores the protein that it was deprived of as muscle even if its in a caloric deficit.
Thats exactly what im tryng to do! This strategy was originaly brought to my atention by Nick Nillson, author of Muscle Explosion, program that Vince talked so high about! And i wanted to
hear what 2 other Nutritional Experts have to say about it! Thats all!

Hi guys! I’m a little different than most of your customers in that i am a diabetic. My current insulin therapy requires that I take a unit of fast acting insulin for every 4 unirts of carbs (in grams). I’m wondering how much this will hinder my fat loss and will there be conversions to actual carbs or should I just figure that out for each food? I understand the balance of carbs, fats and proteins but still I need to figure out the exact amount (or as close as possible) of carb grams in each meal. Thanks!

@Raducu Nastase – Raducu, i want to help you out here. This is what you might want to refer to as a team. I was involved in helping Vince get cut to make it on stage and then get ripped and put on some mass to pop the skin when he (Vince) got lean.

I think you are missing the point. Even the pro’s call on the pro’s to help them in an area they have knowledge. But to be at the top of the game you MUST go to the source. I might refer you back to the BIG BOOK STORE Video where Vince very clearly states, he owns a couple of emails and phone numbers, not 1 million plus diet books. Vince goes to the source for true nutrition success and that is why we (empowered nutrition) have partnered with Vince to bring you the best of the best when it comes to nutrition.

Vince has never hid the fact that I have been developing his nutrition programs and meal plans over the years. In fact he has posted several times that these plans are the best and that is why he works with us.

Joel is a smart guy too and so is Vince, but we all have our specialties.

Sorry to disappoint you, but there is a team of empowered nutritionists behind Vince on this one.

Good luck with all your goals.

@Daniel The Assasin – Daniel asked about a theory of Slingshot on the Live Call. You can listen in there to hear the answer. We had so many callers that Daniel could not get on and emailed me within minutes of the call for his answer and here is my response to his request on the slingshot theory.
+++++++++++++++++++++++
Sorry you lost the call. We had just a ton of LIVE listeners, we may have overloaded the system, sorry about that.

Daniel, I think you are going to like and hate what we have to say. Vince is working on getting the audio file uploaded and over to me to make live sometime tonight and you can hear it all there. Don’t worry I will send you a link to listen and won’t forget about you.

Simple answers are this. Slingshot is way too hyped up. If you really want to use a slingshot effect then great. But if you want to know when it works best and its real applications then you might not like what I have to say. There is a specific time and place to effectively use this theory.

The slingshot effect is a very elite practice and not ideal for everyday fat loss or long term fat loss.

The slingshot effect is more commonly known to pro bodybuilders and fitness models and is more often referred to as deprivation and re composition or super composition or even hyper-composition.

This refers to as you mentioned depriving yourself of one primary macro nutrient for another. I am not a big fan of any deprivation for any reason and believe more strongly in consistent quantifiable inputs and responses, especially when it comes to nutrition.

I love a restriction and super composition (slingshot) effect the week before my elite competitive bodybuilding or fitness models and even myself compete. There is carb loading and fat loading theories that both work. Problem is it is hit and miss and you need to be super lean to truly benefit from either and you really have to know what you are doing to make it work consistently for each and every show.

What you will see in that last statement is that there is no messing around with protein. Protein is you constant and it is the building blocks of your lean muscle body. Daniel, you have to feed the machine to keep it running and protein begets protein. Don’t mes with the protein too much or your results will be inconsistent and you may not be able to duplicate those as your grow leaner and bigger or what ever your goal is.

The goal of what we are saying is consistency in meal timing, caloric intake both daily and per meal and portion control. If I know you are doing all these things and on game plan I can help coach you to greater results. But if I all do is jump from theory to theory I won’t have the body or the brains I have been working so hard to achieve with the next best fad diet theory application. Focus on making things simple, including nutrition. If you feel it is easy to live life like this slingshot effect, then do it, but I am sure that you do not plan to do that for life.

Daniel, take home message is make it simple and be consistent and follow a well laid out and strategic game plan that has a track record of success for the goals you wish to achieve.

Thanks for a great question, a lot of people struggle with these theories that are all over and the NEW next best thing. This question will help lots of people.

@Daniel The Assasin@Patrick McGuire – Thanks for the explantation, Patrick, i know what i do, i will try to do what you all 3 say togehter with what Joel says, this way i wont make friend Vince feel bad about it! I used this method 3 times before with sucess and i gained 3 pounds of muscle in the day of supercompensation, i mixed it with compound exercice overload training but as Pat says this is a tehnique you wanna use sparingly when you get a plateau! Pat im sure you wont let me enter the empowered team is it? :) Are you gonna make another call soon ?

@Daniel The Assasin – please notice i was refering to the slingshoot when i sayd “i used it 3 times before” i forgot to put your name in front of the sentence sorry!

@Raducu Nastsase – Vince Delmonte: First show me some cash! THEN we will make another :) ) =)))))

Patrick McGuire

June 27, 2009

@Raducu Nastsase – we can always talk about the empowered team. In fact John and I have something up our sleeves for those of you that think you can cut it. But to make the team you got to show the goods, hold the degrees and teach other to do the same. Then when all that comes together, the proof is in the right place at the right time.

John, Vince and I will motivate you to make it happen. John and I have already planned for something HUGE and we will even p….

well I can’t let that one out of the bag just yet, but yeah, you might cut it and make the team, but to be an empowered coach is another thing.

Great call, unfortunatley i codnt stay that much is was night here. I got a question here if someone can answer: I am in a muscle building phase and im about to take a week off, my question is how should i eat durning this week, a surplus of calories or a deficit?? I get fat very easily

Retirementcoach

June 28, 2009

Let me frank. Are you SERIOUS about losing body fat and looking great? Are your REALLY?! What Vince, Patrick, & John have done is put a complete package together to accomplish this!

Get on the complete program and you have a team of experts who can help you if you aren’t seeing the results you want. They can help you tweak the program to get you there.

If you mix and match programs- Vince’s workout with some other meal plan – how on earth are you going to get the expert help from the team when you aren’t seeing the results you want?!

The complete package works. I know. Stuck at 12%BF on the 4 day program and MY meal plan. I decided that the experts must know more than I did so I went to Patrick and said ” Here is where I’m at and where I want to be. Put together a meal plan to get me there.” Patrick did and told me to work the meal plan and trust him that it will work. In 3 weeks I dropped more than 3%BF getting to <10% BF and staying there.

Trying to find the magic bullet by looking at other meal plans? People, the magic bullet is being presented to you. You have Vince’s workout and now Patrick and John have refined their meal plan to help you kick butt!

Here is the catch. You need to work BOTH with a single minded focus. Let nothing distract you when doing both! Sure there are other workouts and other meal plans. These are distractions. Stay focused on your goal. If you do you have a team that is willing to help you get there!! And you WILL see results.

If you chose another path….Well, then you get what you get!

@Retirementcoach – what are you talking about coach??? I asked how many calories should i eat in my week off if im tryng to build muscle?

June 28, 2009

@Raducu Nastase@Retirementcoach@Vince – < The audio was really fine, i wish i could ask my a question too but i am new here, i heard good things about Vince’s program so i thought i drop by. Raducu your right, i know Joel too. WHATS THAT BEHAVIOR VINCE??? i really thought i will buy your program but i see your jelaous! Mr.Patrick, sorry if i am a bit disrespectful but can you consider this idea and do a meal plan variant with carbs in the morning and fats at night?? Please, that should calm me and Nastase down. dont consider it a threat its just a request

Daniel The Assasin

June 28, 2009

@Adrian@Phil – Come on man what was that. Vince gets money for value, if you see no value on the meal plans or his programs DEFINETLIVLEY dont order them. Adrian got a good question, i was wondering the same

Adrian

My comment wasn’t directed at you man. It was an overall comment from many comments that have been made. You didn’t fall into that category. I guess it was unfortunate my comment came after yours. You had a valid question.

I looked at and am trying the first week’s meal plan that came in the freebee pkg: Sampler: Fast Fat Loss for women, 1600 calories.” Some of the meals seem are way off base on the calories so I’m wondering if I purchase the complete plan, does it list measures and weights and not just stuff like “1/2 cantalope.” I have had to readjust almost every meal to get in the ballpark of the calories listed. Some are off by 100 or so cals… as we all know, that makes a big differenece! For example, Day 4 breakfast: 364 cals = 2 oz low or nonfat cheese; 2 cups 1% milk; 24 peanuts; 1/2 cantalope. No way… 2 cups of milk alone are 200 cals! I had to readjust the menu to get it to 367 cals: no cheese, 1 cup skim milk (90); 15 peanuts (183); 99 grams cantalope – which was 1/4 cantalope (94). 183+90+94=367. I really like the variety of the menu! However, I’m not happy with the inaccuracy of the calories. Your comments are appreciated.
